Wow we had such a nice experience here. We were greeted by the nicest woman. She just looked like she should be making Greek food - like in a good way. I think that had to be Sofia herself. We felt so welcome. I had one of their specials - a eggplant rollitini - and Dom had a gyro. It was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted really fresh. We are so impressed. You can tell they love what they do. We will be back soon.

I found nothing authentic about Sophia's food. Chicken skewers dry and lacked seasoning. Tzatziki would have helped but there wasn't any included in my take out. I ended up using a packet of mayo on the chicken. Rice had what appeared to be frozen mixed veggies in it. It was tasty but too greasy. The avgolemono soup was inedible and it too had mixed veggies in it!?!? Thin and not lemony at all. Chicken pieces were just about non existent and hardly any orzo. Salad had a scoop of potato salad (really????) on top of it that was sprinkled with feta. The side of Greek style dressing was good though. And the salad was fresh. Service was friendly and prompt. I wouldn't return to Sophia's.

I went after a long day of work one night and I wanted to try it. This was delicious and tasted authentic (although I am not Greek so do not trust my knowledge on the cuisine lol). I got the gyro platter with aveglemono and both were tasty! I would come back here for a good to go dinner and I want to try other greek foods too as the menu looks delicious.

Great little deli style eatery with amazing Greek flavor. We enjoyed our meal immensely and enjoyed our talk with the owner. We have already recommended this place to multiple friends and family members. See you next year, Sofia's!

Love this place. Seriously could eat here every single day ! I always get the Greek Chicken Pita. It's huge and very filling. I've also had salads, spinach pie, tzatziki with pita, mozzarella sticks.. all fabulous and flavorful. Everybody is always welcoming when we go in for pick up. Will return again and again.

Very friendly atmosphere and the food was amazing. Served by the owner herself and was infectiously pleasant. Overall a wonderful cultural experience.

The best spinach pie ever and the desserts are great as well! The owners are people who really care about the authenticity of their Greek food and satisfying their customer's expectations.

This is a great little family owned greek place. It's in my neighborhood and I probably eat here a couple times a week. Everything I've ever had has been delicious. There is not a whole lot of seating inside and just a little more outside so you might want to just order take out but they do a really good job of packing up your food so get it home and dig in. They've only been open a few months but they keep getting busier and busier (always a good sign).

Sofia's is really good; they have a wide variety of traditional American food like yummy wraps and Sandwiches and also delicious Greek food. It's pretty cheap too! There desserts are the only thing that's no so great. But overall I really like the place. The chicken twister wrap and the gyros are my favorite!

Just tried Sofia's for the first time. I ordered take out and was told it would be ready in ten minutes. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the owners and was able to look over the desserts which looked absolutely amazing. I'll have to try them next time. The restaurant is small. They have a few tables and the menu is on two big TVs. I ordered a cup of chicken lemon soup, spinach pie, a gyro, and baklava. The soup was pretty good. I would have preferred a more lemony favor. The spinach pie was delicious. The outside was flaky and the inside was warm, meaty, and full of flavor. I'll be ordering the spinach pie again and again. The gyro was huge! Plenty of meat and the onions, tomatoes, and tzatziki sauce tasted fresh. Last but not least was the baklava. It was just what I was hoping for. I'll definitely return.

The worst greek salad I've ever had, the dressing didn't even taste like greek dressing and the potatoe salad was awful. Will not be going back!

My wife is part Greek and I spent a lot of time in Greece which means we can be pretty picky. Saw some good reviews, and since we live close, we had to try it. Ordered a Gyro and something that wasn't on the menu but we both love, which is a traditional Moussaka. The Gyro was amazing! Finally, a place that gives you plenty of meat! And good meat! (Insert 5 jokes here). It was very flavorful. One of the best Gyro's I've had. The Moussaka was also very good (posted photo), though lacked a bit of seasoning, making it a little blend (just being VERY picky here) but it was awesome! I appreciated that they put the tomato sauce on the side. If there is any downside is due to the rice. It was strangely spicy. Why? Rice should not be spicy. A small issue in an otherwise really good experience. Will be back for sure. Please thumb up my review if it was helpful to you.

I'm normally pretty skeptical about a place that only has a few reviews and they're almost all five stars, but this place deserves its stellar rating. It's not a very large place, but it offers both indoor and outdoor seating. They offer traditional Greek fare, but they also have cheese steaks, cheeseburgers, and if you're feeling adventurous, they even have Greek Chow Mein. I decided to play it safe today, and I ordered the Gyro Pita and the Pork Pita. My food was brought out to me after a few minutes, and I underestimated how big both pitas would be. They definitely do not skimp on the meat either. I like my tzatziki sauce with lots of garlic, and theirs did not disappoint. Every thing was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The prices are great, and their staff is friendly. I plan on going again and maybe being a bit more adventurous on my next visit. I'm giving them a four for now, but if their other dishes are as good as their pitas, I will bump them to a five.

The eggplant parm is awesome. Husband had a gyro he said very good. Only drawback was too few tables inside we had to eat at outside table, thank god there was a breeze or it would have been way to hor... ..

Great place for a nice Greek meal and an unforgettable experience that does not disappoint! My family gave the restaurant a try when it was relatively new for my father's birthday and I immediately fell in love with the Baked Pastitsio. The pita bread and accompanying salad were great, and the sauce was a nice touch. The Gyro wrap is very classic, and I've heard the same about many of the other menu items. The owner was very kind to us and gave us a free round of pita bread for my dad's birthday since, coincidentally, it was her birthday too. She also helped us out when my dad spilled his drink, which was nice. The venue is a bit small, but then again it's also a relatively new restaurant with big potential. I think the tables and stuff look a bit generic and the design could use some work, but that can come with time. Although I miss the old ice cream shop that was in its, I love having a Greek restaurant I can go to regularly and I hope it helps the restaurant grow.

Tried Sofia's after seeing it open up months ago. Don't let the look of the place fool you. The Gyro's were phenomenal, and the portion sizes were huge. I had more food than I could finish. The Greek salad was good as well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for authentic Greek food.

Do not be put off by the non-descript setting in a strip mall, the food here is fabulous. If you love Greek food you will be in heaven, but even if you don't it's fresh, hot, and homemade with enough variety to satisfy any taste. We had the chicken kabob plate with a lemony garlicky marinade and the moussaka special which was light and bursting with flavors of nutmeg and cinnamon. The dolmades we had on the side were some of the best I've ever tasted, and coming from a Lebanese family I've tasted a lot! Great for a pre-game meal at Bright House Field or en route to or from Tampa airport.
