Perfect location to watch any type of sports with plenty of tv viewing. Cocktails are good and affordable, plenty of parking and very clean.

Out of all the Nortons in the area, I like this one the best for a few reasons. First, no smoking allowed inside so you don't feel like you're chilling in an ashtray. Second, their drinks are well made and decently priced. Also, there is plenty of seating, fun live music and nice bartenders. Finally, their bar fare is mighty tasty. Wings, burgers, fries. Nothing out of the ordinary but always tasty This is just a local neighborhood hang out spot, but I still give 2 thumbs up

You can't beat this place for cheap food and beverages to watch the game. I mean it...the food is actually good, the wings yummy and you can get a beer or glass of wine for like $3.50. Huge TVs and plenty of seating with nice and friendly staff. Our go-to place for football.

What a nice little gem in the Countryside area. I was looking for a decent, non smokey bar, and I found it! Prices are reasonable and they have a full liquor bar. My only real complaint is their selection of beer, it is quite limited and they don't have ANY local offerings! But, the have dart boards and pool tables, limited out door seating and reasonably attentive servers!

Good bar food. Wings are great and a lot of different flavors to chose from. Fries and tots are good. Its bar food from the deep fryer, hard to mess it up. Dump frozen food into basket, drop basket into grease, set timer, pull out food, dab grease off, put on plate and serve. Easy. This place has great drink specials so if you are looking to watch some sports and get some good priced drinks this is your place. They have a ton of large screen TVs and you are sure to get your game. They also always play the sound for the local teams, Bucs, Lightning, Rays etc. I have always had good service at this place. They are remodeling this shopping center and are almost complete should help out the parking situation when it's done. If you are looking for good greasy bar food and some sports this place is one of the few choices in northern Pinellas County and they do it good.

One of my favorite spots to meet up with friends to play pool or watch a game or UFC match. I know most of the bartenders here and they're all cool, very helpful and quick. They never let ya sit without a menu or drink for too long. Plenty of TVs to catch all the games including a big projector where they show the big event of the night. Couple pool and dart tables to entertain yourself too.. The usual bar stuff. As far as the food goes it's typical bar food. The wings are definitely good here, but word to the wise steer clear of the seafood sampler. Just don't order seafood at a bar for real. Best part of this place is no smoking inside. Don't have to worry about feeling like you rolled around in an ashtray here since smoking is only allowed outside on the covered patio. Fun neighborhood bar with decent prices and no smoking, that's a 4 star spot in my book. Environment 3 Service 4 Wings/drinks 4 Value 4

Unfortunately a lousy experience. We have been to Norton's Eastside many times and generally the service has been good. Even during the "Big" games when the place is packed we've gotten good service. That was until yesterday. We went there for the USA - Portugal soccer game. When we got there it was about half full, plenty of tables available. We sat at high top table in the front and near the bar. Waited for 10-15 minutes before I approached a waitress and asked if there was table service or should I order at the bar. She told me to "calm down, have a seat and we'll be with you in a few minutes". A few minute later a different waitress came by. We placed our drink order (beer). Then, about 15-20 minutes later she whisked by asking if all was ok. I said no, we would like to place a food order. She then stopped and she took our order (20 wings, 10 hot, 10 mild and a basket of fries). She didn't write anything down. Being crowed and loud, I saw her at the computer and went up to her and repeated the order to make certain that she entered it correctly. She said, "no problem" About 20 minutes later, the wings were delivered to our table. No mention of our fries. Finally after trying to flags our waitress down for about 10-15 minute, my wife went up to the bar and asked her about the fries. She said, "Oh, I forgot, I just put the order in". Finally we got the fries. We had to flag our waitress down again when we wanted another bucket of beer. She brought the bucket and threw it on the table, never saying a word. Then, after the heartbreaking USA tie, we wanted to get our check. No sign of our waitress for at least 10-15 minutes. I went to the bar and mentioned to another waitress that we would like to get our bill, but can't locate our waitress. She again told me to "Calm down and our waitress would be there in a few minutes". In a few minutes she dropped off our bill. I am generally a generous tipper, 18-25%. But not last night, for the 1st time in years. When I am told by a waitress, twice, to "Calm down" and the overall service is lousy and the order is delivered incomplete, the tip is zero. I will never drive past several other sports bar to get to Norton's Eastside again.

Day/time of visit: weekday dinner Atmosphere: casual, sports bar, clean, non smoking - hurray! Typical sports bar, lots of tv's. No drink specials at our visit time - bummer. Chips and salsa to begin - obviously bottled salsa - boo. I ordered a Chicken Philly sandwich (comes with potato chips and pickle spear) - nothing special, would not order again. BF ordered French Dip (w/chips & pickle) - again, nothing special and would not order again. Felt like the food was a little pricy for quality ($7.50 for mediocre sandwich with chips). Not on my revisit list but will will probably find myself here again sometime to watch a football game. 3 stars for non smoking clean sports bar 2 stars for food

I went to Norton's Friday night. Had never been there before. It's a pretty cool place and as I sit here trying to remember what stood out, the most notable feature was the noise. It was f*cking loud. Saying that makes me feel like I should just take some Metamucil and go to bed, but seriously man, it was hard to have a conversation. We had a buddy in town from Ireland, and this dude's brogue is hard enough for me to understand without the noise. After asking him to repeat himself no less than 65 times, I started to find myself simply nodding and smiling like an idiot most of the night. Having very little idea what people were saying, I just tried to look for facial clues as to whether or not I was reacting to their story correctly. If they started looking confused I'd just change the direction my head was shaking, like a goofy bobble head. Noise aside, we had fun. They have a couple of pool tables and electronic dart machines. There was always someone walking around picking up empty beer bottles and glasses, keeping the place clean. The crowd of people were tolerable. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. There's no smoking allowed inside which was great, but if you do smoke they have a patio with chairs and tables outside. Overall, it's not a place I would find myself on the regular but I also wouldn't be averse to coming back.

What a great sports bar! Tons of TVs. food was great. I ordered the mahi mahi blackened, nice thick piece and my boyfriend order the chicken Philly. He said it was great! we did make it for happy hour it was buy one get one draft. Beer was icy cold. Wait staff was friendly and efficient. we live close by and will always come back. oh yeah and they also had free pool and darts on Mondays

  • Julie S.

I love the fact that they have tons of tv's so you'll never miss a game. Just wish the service was better. I recently went for pitchers with some friends. The place was very quiet, as it was a weekday. Not much going on. We still sat there for 10 or 15 min. before a waitress came over. As other reviewers stated, they offer NO drink specials. Based on that and the slow service, we bypass Norton's and head across the parking lot to Beef O'Brady's.

Yes, I'm that annoying asshole from Los Angeles come to tell you that what passes as a good time in your neck of the woods is the food and beverage equivalent to cow tipping. But I'm telling you that from Los Angeles, so you can't kick my ass, since I'm kinda of a pansy. The thing is, for all the looking down my nose that I do, this place kinda rocks. In fact YOU kinda rock. You were kind to me when I came here drunk off my ass. You treated me with respect, when I probably didn't deserve it. In fact, I probably deserved a solid right hook. But you know what? You're a solid, neighborhood bar, and goddamit, you're actually a lot of fun. I always have fun here, and I thank you for not treating me like I probably would treat you if you bellied up to the bar here in Los Angeles. Don't let assholes like me fool you: Los Angeles is no better than Clearwater. It's worse, in fact, because we think we're better than Clearwater. So hang your head high, sling back a beer or five, and Go Gators, or whatever team it is that you think is as good as USC. j/k

My friends tend to go here quite a bit and I've been here several times but I'm not really sure why I go back. The food is ok but there are never any drink specials. If you play a song that the bartenders don't like on the jukebox the will change it. And to be honest it's some of the worst service I've ever had, it will take you 10 minutes to get a beer and when you go back up with an empty bottle they just stand around as if they have better things to do than serve you. I wouldn't recommend anytime soon.

This is from my experience at the "official" opening night at McMullen & Enterprise with The Black Honkies playing inside, speakers outside, along with a huge party tent in the parking lot. It appears that all tables were moved to the side and the floor became one big groove stand for patrons. This opening definitely rocked! I tried to envision this place as a sports bar and, judging from all the HDTVs and big screens surrounding the perimete, this place has got to work. There is a lot of sq footage and you could see any game in any sport you request. I'll come back during March Madness to confirm but I feel it will be all good!

  • Nichole C.

Great sports bar! Very CLEAN, and amazing prices. The menu boasts your typical bar grub {i.e. fried food and sandwiches, and beer}, but at really great prices. The wings are perfect and I highly recommend them! I like that there is a full bar, pool, darts, and room for dining. Usually with that much going on, it can be crowded, but at Norton's this was not the case. I was very impressed for what it was. My family has been going here for a while, and tonight was my first time at Norton's Eastside and I will definitely be back.

We popped in on a Friday night and found a large, clean, smoke free establishment with all the liquor you could possibly want, and apparently food too! The servers amazed us through the evening as they repeatedly checked up on our party and brought everything we asked for in seconds. We ordered some Parmesan and garlic wings but, they were unseasoned and sans-garlic. Focus on the alcohol. That's what they specialize in. As the night wore on, the level of intoxication by some of the patrons became, shall we say, impressive. Then, the fists started flying as one lady grabbed the hair of a smaller women and began to punch her out. We sipped our drinks as the carnage ensued but then, in a surprise twist, the second woman turned out to be a cop! It took three to subdue the female pugilist sufficiently for the disheveled officer to handcuff her and drag her out, screaming at the unfairness of it all. The service was awesome, the drinks strong, and the entertainment value was definitely there. No cover charge and a full show! We will return!

Norton's is A-OK. I've been here when the bar is packed and when there is maybe only a couple of dozen people in the place grabbing a beer and a bite to eat. The crowd is mixed and exactly what you expect from a sports bar. They have tons of TVs but I've never seen a live band there. It's not the place you go to dance but to just hang out and drink. They have a couple of bars games as well. For me its the place I'm going to go when I want to grab a couple of drinks to watch a game but not a "night out" destination.

Wandered in a week after opening. We didn't even know it was here. Thinking it was just a little dive bar but were happy to find a nice non smokey sports bar with great food and extremely well priced drinks! A definite go to. -1 star for TV. Volume and dark parking lot

I live very close to this new location and had heard a lot about the original location so i was very excited to try Nortons east side. It is a very nice, new and clean sports bar with lots of flat screen TVs for sports watching! Got all the newest games...I.E- golden tee, silver strike etc... So far so good... The drink prices are standard and the pours are fair to light. We ordered the chicken wings ($15 for 20) which are a bit pricey. We got the med buffalo and the garlic parm. The wings are horrible. It is really hard to mess up chicken wings but this place did just that. Not only were the wings the tiny little no meat size wings they were so over cooked that what little bit of meat on the bones was like jerky! The med buff sauce was fair... The garlic parm sauce was awful! It was basically butter with no seasonings. So very disappointed to say the least! I usually try to give a rest a second chance but based on the fact that they are using the tiny wings it just tells me that they are budget minded and not concerned with quality food. Sorry but with its location and this quality food this Nortons location will not survive long. They have to be losing money already! Good TV's for a sports bar but that is it! Def not enough to get my business again!

Wrote a review first time I was here but it listed under the other location. Here for 2 buck Tuesday and have to say it's the best deal in town, Jay was our bartender and made sure he looked after us - have to say ignore the negative and try in out for yourself....

I was pleasantly surprised upon coming to Norton's. On the outside, it appears to be your normal sports bar. Between the food, service, and cleanliness though, I would vote this as a nice step up from your average sports bar. I started with an order of the wings, and really surprised at how good they were. These are going to be more like your traditional wings, smaller, but the taste is great and you get a lot of meat on each wing. I tried both the cajun seasoning and medium wings. The cajun wasn't bad, but I really enjoyed the wing sauce. I also ordered a basket of clam strips. They were a little on the overly crispy side, but they had great flavor. The french fries were excellent and I did not find one soggy one. The wait staff was extremely friendly and constantly checked back on us to make sure we were doing ok. The bar was nice and clean and there were plenty of televisions with just about every sports channel you can imagine on. Over all, I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the mood for some classic bar food.

Wrote a review first time I was here but it listed under the other location. Here for 2 buck Tuesday and have to say it's the best deal in town, Jay was our bartender and made sure he looked after us - have to say ignore the negative and try in out for yourself....

Good sports bar, friendly staff, decent food. Extremely variable levels of service. I've been here a bunch of times and my last visit the service was nonexistent. But previously I've had perfect service, so you never know...

Great place to watch a game. Above average bar food. Try the wings with dry rub.
