Don't ever get Delivery from them. They are big ripoff artists. I order for me and for other co workers through thier website. It states that there is a minimum of a $30.00 order and that there is a $5 delivery charge. It iven make you put a checkmark in the box to verify that you read the notice. I was fine with that because I knew we would make the $30.00 limit. Well once the order was submitted with the total of $46+ in food I get a call from Jason's Deli saying that we are seven or eight miles away and the minimum order is $55.00 and the delivery charge is $6.00. I told them it shows $30.00 and $5 delivery. The caller told me it says to call to get the true charge. I looked and it does not show it at all on the online form, as a matter of fact you have to put your address in before it requires you to put the check on that box so then if the pices are different should it not show the correct price???? Guess who will not be getting my business anytime soon. The only reason they are getting two stars is because that delivered on time.

I love their salad bar , organic vegetable soup, and prices. I am giving it 5 stars based on those three things only. You get all you can eat salad bar and cup of soup for about $9. The salad bar has pasta, all the toppings you can think of including granola, crackers, muffins, pudding, ice cream, cottage cheese, beets, various dressings, etc. Whenever I am in this area I come here because I know I'll leave nice and full for cheap! I love Jason's Deli!

This is one of my favorite local restaurants. Love the consistency of the place. Jason's offers a very clean establishment with the freshest salad bar in town, great ambiance and wonderful service. Why just four stars? I'm not crazy about the sandwiches. I'm in love with their soup and salad and everything else is ay ok, not that it's bad, just nothing out of this world. Simple, clean, delicious, consistent in every way. Ice cream is included with your meal, perfect for the kids. Great location as well. Big fan.

I enjoy the food, but when you are out of chocolate ice cream place a sign on the door to that effect. I come here for the food and the ice cream, without the chocolate ice cream I can go anywhere else.

Second one I have been to. The place is extremely clean. The window glass Is so clean you wouldn't think it was there. Food .. Can't beat it. Love my hot pastrami. Service. Excellent. Portions were light and regular. Both very filling won't be leaving hungry, for sure prices are good

This is the second Jason's Deli I have visited while visiting my friend in Florida. We tend to go here after flying in, while she's still at work--because its a casual, comfortable place that always has what we want. This cafe is very large-however my only gripe about this entire place is that I had a hard time finding where to place my order. We came in around 2pm after the lunch rush, there was really no one around-everyone was stocking and cleaning...so I ended up walking up and down the aisle just not knowing where to go... turns out I passed it even though there were people working behind the counter...thanks for giving me the heads up ladies! If there is signage its not very obvious. I'm also a big fan of the salad bar with all the complimentary items--love those mini muffins!

Tried Jason's today, after I heard about the salad bar and was not disappointed!! Their veggies were very fresh, and I was glad to see options like zucchini & yellow bell peppers. There were lots of yummy toppings and dressing selections. My only complaint (hence it not being 5 stars) is that there weren't very many protein options if you're a vegetarian/vegan and don't eat cheese! There were two types of shredded cheese and cottage cheese in addition to crumbled bacon and hard boiled eggs. I would give it 5 stars if they would add on some beans/chickpeas/tofu in addition.

Hands down...the best soups and sandwiches and value! The soups are rich and creamy and homemade...the sandwiches are fresh and tasty and they always have something new! The service is quick and friendly....I have been eating here for years, .I could eat here everyday! One of my favorite spots in all of Tampa-bay!

Love Jason's Deli! It's easy, fresh, and there are lots of options on the menu! Free ice cream is a nice touch too!

Haven't had a bad meal here yet! The seafood gumbo, cuban, and muffaletta are to die for. The salad bar is nice for something lighter. And free ice cream to finish doesn't hurt :)

I've heard wonderful things about this location, but for me, the only upside was the free soft serve ice cream. I bought the grilled chicken salad. The chicken tasted like old pre-cooked chicken that's been in the refrigerator too long, and the lettuce tasted like it wasn't washed. My friends kids ordered Mac n cheese, and it was more like cheese soup with noodles. Very disappointing. Nobody liked their meal.

I drove by here a hundred times but never stopped in until friends of mine made plans to eat here for lunch on a recent weekend. I was confused by the endless options on the menu and it took me quite a while to decide, but I guess there's nothing wrong with having lots of choices. So I settled on ordering the pick 2, with a ranchero wrap and fire roasted tortilla soup. Neither item "wowed" me. The ranchero wrap was so small, comparable to a chicken snack wrap from McD's and regardless of the fact that I asked for no jalapenos, it was in fact loaded with them. The soup was alright but nothing great. For $10, I didn't think my meal was worth the money, I'd rather do Panera as a similar option. The free ice cream with every meal bumped this place up a star. I will admit the salad bar looked really tasty and had a huge variety of items, so I may consider going back to try that, but I'm not exactly jumping up and down with excitement.

The beef stew was to die for and my cousin got the sweet potato soup which was even better!! I love this place the first impression was a wonderful experience and I didn't even mention the FREE icecream definitely will be returning!

I chose this restaraunt based on the vegetarian options and the fact that at the very least I could choose the salad bar. My husband ended up falling in love with this place after the first bite of his sandwich. I personally just had the salad bar and a cup of soup, and was pleased to say that not only is this a veggie friendly salad bar, it's also a omnivore's salad bar, packed with all sorts of cheeses, and toppings galore that made me wish I could partake! Anyway, they have multiple veggie sandwiches, multiple veggie soups and all were absolutely phenomenal. My husband tried to talk me into tasting a bite of his sandwich because he was so impressed by it!

The sandwiches are excellent. Pricey for what it is which is why I give it 4. It's cafeteria style. Big place. I paid about 9 for sandwich.

Great to bring kids. Lots of options. Not expensive. Food is solid. Free ice cream. Kind of Bizaar set up as there is an order line then you walk down to pay cashier. First time there it was a little odd until you understand their system. Salad bar has great variety. Lots of soup and sandwich options. Very casual. It's s chain. I have had the muffaleta and it's not New Orleans, but it's real tasty! Give them a try.

  • Lynn S.

I love this place! The service is great and fast. He cashiers always remember us and ask how we are and how our son is if he isn't with us. I always get the salad bar and soup. The tomato basil soup is perfect! Not too fatty, not too savory or salty. The vegetable soup is a great light soup. On the bar, the quinoa mango salad is light, the vegetables are always fresh.

Not impressed. Should drove the extra few miles and hit the Lucky Dill. I ordered the French Onion soup and the Hot Pastrami sandwich. Soup was bland, the cheese topping was undercooked. Pastrami was almost as dry and flavorless as the french bread it was served on. Pastrami was so flavorless it could have been just corned beef. 1st time here - last time here

Cheap prices, high quality ingredients, plenty of options for all diets, free ice cream/pudding, and a huge salad bar that always tastes fresh. I come here all the time and always leave feeling stuffed and satisfied, never sick (like I might at Sweet Tomatoes, Ruby Tuesday, etc.) Where else can you say that and spend less than $10? I really can't recommend Jason's Deli enough.

By far the best sit down option for families with small children. We have been coming here since before we had kids 8 years ago. It's quick, healthy, fresh and tasty. When you walk in your wondering if you should go left or right. If you go left it will take you to the "take out" counter. If you head right it takes you to the main sit down ordering counter. A person behind the glass food cases will take your order. They have many tempting items in the cases you can order in addition to your meal. Different dessert options and side items. Once you order you walk down to a resister and pay there, then hand your yellow paid ticket to the expediter who will give you a number to put a top your table. Then you get your drinks and head to find a table. I really like the selection at the salad bar but it does lack protein so I usually ask for some grilled chicken or salmon. Hubby really likes the half sandwich with cup of soup combo. The Reuben is yummy as is the broccoli cheese soup. Kids really like the all natural hot dog with apple slices. Most all choices are good so choose what your taste is calling for and your good!

Just read a review about a delivery charge..if you save money and time not having to go pick up an order .i think $6 delivery charge is saving you money? And it was delivered on time......Just my opinion..i think you miss out if you dont go here..great food..great salad bar.. great service..

Big fan of Jason's Deli the food is delicious esp for the prices. Brandon and I have decided to make a habit of stopping here after getting groceries at Whole Foods down the road and grabbing a salad and soup to go. The salad bar is awesome, I only wish they had garbanzo beans & edamame and it would literally be the greatest salad bar EVER! Everything is always fresh and never stale and they try to have organic ingredients when possible.

It was tough not to give this place 4 stars but it was not 4 stars in all areas. The food is so fantastic, but it was not fair to give it more than 3 considering. I got the salad bar at 2 in the afternoon. It was clean, well stocked and fresh. Lots of vegan and nutritious items but lots of just yum choices too. Three lettuce options--spring mix, romaine blend, and spinach. 30-40 topping options. The spring peas were vibrant, the baby beets were bland. They have some great salads--mashed potato salad, pasta salad, couscous salad (excellent), bean salad to name a few. Sunflower seeds, croutons, bacon bits, herbed cheese, Greek olives, peperonici. I mixed the balasamic vinaigrette and the French for a perfectly sweet-tart dressing. They had toasted garlic bread and mini-muffins. Neither were "tasty" or worth eating. Soft serve ice cream is part of the salad bar and they have small cone or cup options for white and chocolate. My salad bar and drink were $10.25. Most entrees were in the $7-8 range. Sandwiches looked great. I don't like their unclear shopping instructions. I stood in a sandwich order line behind people only to learn that salad bar people go straight through to another line. Where's the guidance? I would've liked salad seconds--was this allowed? No place for second plates and no one to find to ask without getting back in the serving trough line. I didn't learn about the ice cream til I was walking out the door? It's not on a sign anywhere and not on the immediate salad table. This is a high volume store and the help was not keeping up with the tables--though it was after lunch hour and the place was emptying out--yet lots of people standing around behind the order counter. Didn't see initiative or pride in the employees. They weren't helpful for newbies like me, ignoring the customer in a robotic fashion and into their social chatter. Bathroom was not clean. If you're into good foot, this place is easily a 4. Total package dropped it to 3.

Great sandwiches! I especially like the Muffalettas and the olive mix it comes with. Very easy to order on line and pickup service is immediate here. I thought I had a problem accumulating their "deli dollars" on line, I emailed corporate and I had a phone call and resolution within two hours.

  • Lane R.

Eh, this place is ok! I would prefer just to make my own sandwich at home. I recently tried the chicken salad wrap off the "value menu" and was not impressed. Their salad bar is the only redeeming quality. I wouldn't recommend getting anything else there! The free ice cream is a big plus :)

This place has the best sandwiches in town. It is a little pricey, but to me its worth it.

  • Jane E.

A perfect sandwich place in the same vein as places up North. They have a wide variety of sandwich, all unique and tasty. I love the fresh ingredients and I love the variety of breads. My goal has been to slowly try each of the sandwiches on the menu and then move to Pasta and some of the other items. Of all the sandwiches I have tried the Big Joe and the Muffulata are the best. The muffulata is the signature sandwich and I really like the mix of the olives, mixed in with the turkey and cheese on the crusty bread. Just to warn you the sandwich is huge. I got a half and I ate it for two days. If you like sandwiches that have complex flavor and are not run of the mill, then definitely try this place. I am going to try out the soups and salad and will update.

This was our first visit to Jason's and I can say it won't be our last. First off the staff was very friendly and eager help. Being first timers we asked what their specialties were and were told of the Muffulata being their signature sandwich. My wife who spent a few years in Baton Rouge, was all over that with a cup of gumbo. I had the Beefeater, I can't pass up a french dip I love em'. The Sweet Tea was as sweet as it should be and the order was up faster than most places. Both sandwiches were very tasty, the gumbo was okay for a deli. Not the best but not the worst either. Free soft serve at the end of a meal is a winner in my book. All in all it was a good experience, good food friendly staff a clean and inviting restaurant. We'll be back.

My daughter and I stopped in for lunch on Sunday and the place was so dirty, we left. We tried 2 booths and they both had food all over the seats, the tables and the floor. There were potato chips on the floor and some other smashed food items.

I LOOOVE Jason's Deli! I always used to go when visiting family in Texas and I was thrilled to find one 20 minutes away when I moved to Florida. I pretty much always get the same thing- Broccoli Cheese Soup and the salad bar. The broccoli cheese is delicious- perfectly creamy with some decent broccoli pieces. The salad bar NEVER disappoints! Tons of fresh veggies, good dressings and lots of "extra" goodies- small muffins, crackers, ect. Obviously I've heard the sandwiches are good, (my brother always gets the Italian Poorboy) but I never have room for it all. They also have FREE softserve for an end of meal treat.

  • Stephanie N.

Good place to go for large sandwiches, paninis, wraps, salads and spuds. They actually have some great soups to choose from as well. You can order from the salad bar, but really come for the sandwiches. I love the fact that you get free ice cream w/ every order too! Catering options available. Prices are a l'il on the high side for sandwiches, but they're really big, so maybe you really are getting yoru moneys worth. I guess you'll have to judge that for yourself.

  • Nanci C.

Without a doubt, I give Jason's Deli 5 stars. The food is always fresh, the soup hot, and the free ice cream cold. They have a wide selection on the menu and a hige salad bar. Every time I go there, I tell myself I will try the salad bar and I have yet to, but it really looks delicious, so many choices. I am a fan of the half-sandwich and cup of soup special. It's just the right amount. My favorite is roast beef on whole wheat, toasted, with lettuce, tomato, and mayo with a cup of the tomato basil soup. There are fresh diced tomatoes in the soup. Yum!! All sandwiches come with chips, and you have a choice of regular, baked, or blue tortilla chips with salsa. Once guess as to which one I get - the blue chips of course. They get very busy at lunch but they have a full staff and the wait is never long. If you sign-up for their email, you can get a discount on your birthday. :)

I was able to eat at my first Jason's Deli twice while visiting Austin recently, and enjoyed my meal each time. Evidently I've totally missed this Jason's location even though I come to this plaza a few times each month. This Jason's is much larger than the other Jason's I went to... I saw a sign said the total occupancy is 270 people, a big number for any restaurant around town, much less a deli. Service was quick when ordering, and our food was promptly delivered to our table by a friendly and helpful staff member that volunteered to get us some additional things we needed. I had the spicy gumbo soup and while it was flavorful, it was barely hot. The same comment was echoed by both other guests who ordered soup. Not sure why they were all served up that way (as the other Jason's I ate at the soup was blazing hot), but it knocked down an otherwise good, enjoyable meal. The value at Jason's is excellent, with lots of food served up for the price. The other 2 folks shared a half muffaletta, and that half alone was the size of a football. They were definitely glad they didn't order the full-sized sandwich. I'll likely return to give this location another shot. I'd score this location on my deli scale as: Atmosphere: 4 Service: 4 Food: 3 Value: 4
