Last week was my first time at this Hamburger Mary's location and I truly enjoyed my experience! We came on a night when they were doing Drag Bingo and wanted to play as well. When we arrived, we were told they were booked up with tables, but they made room for us on the outside patio. The restaurant soon became packed for the event. I decided to order a Sam Adams Cold Snap and a Cigar City Jai Alai for my beers during the evening. I was pleasantly surprised with the draft beer selection as there were a few good others I was considering. I ordered the Mac 'n' Cheese balls for the table. They were very tasty; cheesy on the inside but crunchy on the outside. For my entree, I got the fish and chips. The entree is huge and I couldn't finish it all (it could feed two people). The fries were cooked just right and the fish was also cooked well. It was flaky on the inside but the outside was also crispy. When it came time for Bingo, our waiter saw a free table and allowed us to move inside. He was slammed due to the capacity of the restaurant, but the service was outstanding. I had a wonderful time at Hamburger Mary's and enjoyed my food and drink. I can't wait to return!

I was pretty excited to finally check out the clearwater location since I thought it was closer than the Tampa location. Well in actuality they are the same distance and I prefer the Tampa location. I'll first start with the hostess, she wasn't very friendly but not rude or very helpful. I reserved a table which I didn't need to do after all since they weren't packed. After seeing that the table was in another room we decided to sit at the bar. When I told the hostess and why we decided to move, she just looked at me and then responded with you can see from in there. She seemed a little irratated with our desire to move. The bartender was nice and fairly attentive. The bloody mary my friend I ordered was spicy but tasted like just mix without the vodka. We decided to get the breakfast buffet. The egg rolls, eggs with cheese and biscuits with gravy was good. Unfortunatly the rice was overcooked and mushy, the chicken with orange sauce was very overcooked and the lo mein was bland, it needed some seasoning. So the buffet was hit or miss. I'm not sure of this is how the food is generally here at the Clearwater location. As for the drag show, it was pretty good. Some of the performers were better than others and for half the show or maybe a quarter, the MC sat at the outside bar and MC'd from there. That was pretty odd and there wasn't much energy to the show during that time. Overall it was medicare and I will be heading to Tampa instead, the energy and food is much better at that location.

I love hamburgers and a restaurant that has hamburger as part of their name needs to deliver. I was extremely happy with my juicy Barb-b-q burger. Cooked to a perfect medium and layered with two cheeses, bacon, Bbq sauce and a big onion ring. Tater tots on the side were cooked perfect. Too much for one meal and I just finished the 2nd half 6 hours later and it was still awesome! When we go back will make it an evening event to catch a show. HH prices were very good. If you have a groupon call first. Limited hours of acceptance.

We went for my friends birthday party and enjoyed the show. The food was good. For anyone who's celebrating Anything, they let you come on stage and have a free shot with the host. If you make reservations, get there on time or you'll loose your table. We got there 45 minutes late, but the host was nice enough to seat us anyway. The overall experience was nice. I will go back again.

I love going here. The food is excellent for the price and the shows are fabulous and humorous. I always get the Cuban sandwich and a strawberry Mojito.

We were here recently for a good friend's birthday, and it was great! We were a large group, and they took care of everything. We absolutely love the drag queens!

If this were just a restaurant I would give it 5 stars for service and maybe 4 stars on the food. But because of the fun experience with the Queens I am going to a full 5 stars. There is no cover charge so to make up the food is maybe a dollar or two higher per meal than you would pay at places without entertainment. So if you are going be sure to catch a show. Free refills on iced tea is a great deal though. Don't quote me on this but I think the free refills applies to coke etc also. Don't be concerned if you don't get a table front center stage. The Queens move around so there isn't really a bad seat. The MC Queen is very funny and engages the audience in a teasing way that is funny to even the person being teased. They have a deal where they invite people celebrating something up on stage and they get a free drink (non alcoholic for those who are under age). A wide range of people attend. Among the birthday celebrants there was an 85 year old woman and a young lady who was celebrating her 17th birthday. There is another review that mentions the Queens are big. They are all close to 6 feet tall or taller in heels and some have some extra pounds but I guess that reviewer hasn't heard of or doesn't appreciate the word voluptuous. Attendees are welcome to take pictures during the show. At the end of the show everyone has an opportunity to go on stage with the Queens and have a friend take their photo. Great service, decent food, and a fantastic show. I am not Douglas MacArthur but I shall return.

My first experience at Hamburger Mary's was fun and delicious. We were visiting from South Florida, so we made a reservation earlier that day. We got to the restaurant a bit earlier than our reservation time, but were seated promptly. I was a bit disappointed as we were kind of sat in the back so we didn't have a full view of the stage, but the queens did come around. We ordered an appetizer to start with to make some time before the show started, and after reading some yelp reviews raving about the fried mac and cheese balls, we decided to get an order. They were really tasty; a bit greasy, but delicious, the Mac and cheese was creamy goodness. My boyfriend and I both ordered burgers; he the Barbra-que burger and I the mushroom burger. We both enjoyed them, pretty standard compared to burgers at other restaurants, good but I wouldn't say out of this world. For dessert, we shared an espresso ice cream float, which was also very delicious. The drag show was super fun to watch, the MC was hilarious and even did birthday shots with the newly 21-year-olds. All of the queens were having fun with the crowd and dancing, it was great. My boyfriend and I are huge fans of Rupaul's Drag Race so we live for drag queens. Be warned, this meal did not upset my boyfriend's stomach but it did mine, which was not pleasant for our 3-hour drive home. Maybe next time I'll skip out on the dessert, haha!

Called at the last minute to see if I could get a reservation while my Mom was down. The person on the phone was great and funny and they squeezed me in. It was a great experience that my family enjoyed. One of the highlights of their trip and the burgers and servers were awesome. Will definitely be back especially when I have visitors from out of town.

Food was cold, took two hours to get the food, server had to cover three large parties tables, manager was running around and never stopped by, at night you have to spend $10 each person. Never again.

I don't drink and drive..was charged $3.75 for a very tiny cup of cappuccino. They don't have coffee for us designated drivers? The show was Terrible to be nice about it. Performers would go to tables to get tips with deafening techno music playing. No lip syncing here. One of them jumps on a chair and then goes for tips??????? Four songs...a twerking contest...and posing for photos. I am a former Drag performer (30 years) and this was terrible speaking from the art of female impressionists. This will be my absolutely last visit to this mediocre show. No cover thank God. A definite loser in the Drag bar culture. Lots of grandmas and girls night out and first timers in the audience. Overall I want the two hours of my life back I spent there! I should have left the first 10 minutes of the show but hoped it would improve! I miss places like The Pleasure Dome and Tracks in YBOR City where drag was an art. Now those were Drag Bars.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After a disappointing visit, I tried again for lunch today. The new menu has raised all the prices.... to way over the value you get. The kahuna burger is 11.20, then extra .50 for chicken and extra 2.00 to sub sweet potatoe fries for chips. For 13.70, I can get a steak dinner with salad and side at Outback, this sandwich did not quantify the high price. They have recently changed the hamburger buns, which are now cheap and very much like McDonald's buns. They used to be big and fresh and substantial. My chicken breast this time was *again* dry and tough. Two strikes and you're out. I'm no longer recommending this location to my friends and coworkers. AT 12:30 today, there were only 3 tables in this place.... someone in mgmt is not getting the hint that their changes are ineffective at growing the business. Very disappointing, as I used to love this place, and referred a lot of people here. Not any more.

I got the Barbra-q Bacon Buffalo Cheeseburger, and I was one of the best burgers I've ever had. It was so good, I also got the mac-n-cheese and I had to stop myself from eating, so I wouldn't be over-stuffed. We went right as they opened on Friday, so it wasn't crowded when we got there, but it was getting busy by the time we were leaving. Next time we will have to get reservations for one of their shows. Or go on Tuesdays, they have trivia and BOGO burgers.

I've been to Mary's in Tampa, and I'd venture to say that their new Clearwater location trumps the Ybor one. Same hilarious queens parading around in their utterly fabulous costumes and makeup, same delicious food and strong drinks, same upbeat and diverse crowd, but a nicer location, outdoor seating and a better stage setup with more high-top tables for people who just to drink and watch the entertainers instead of mainly normal sized dining tables. Keep doing your thing, Mary!

Went to this place on a Wednesday for lunch. It was very slow. There was only one server. He said he lost our order somehow. Really ? Wow. But The burgers were delicious. We only came here for a Groupon really. But it seems this place gets busy at night time because of the drag queen acts. Essentially, I came here for great burger and I was satisfied. But service brought this rating down . Maybe if I came here furniture evening it would be different, but that's a huge IF.

I got greeted by my server, J, and ushered in as "token lesbian". He was super funny and very entertaining. The chicken caramel salad I had was amazing. Bingo was super fun!! I can't wait to go back!!

I've always been a fan of the Mary's chain, but the Clearwater location wins HANDs down. First, it's closer to me than the Ybor location. Second the place is open and roomy, not a cramped locale where the stage is an after thought. Third, the service (Provided by Felicia Fox) was second to none! We wanted for nothing! She was attentive and very warm. I will make sure I ask for her as a waitress -every- time. The food was good, we started with fried Mac & Cheese, Not at all on my diet, but SO damned good. My friend had their Cheese burger with bacon and it turned out to be a 9 napkin hamburger! That's one juicy piece of beef! I had the "Party at the Club" salad, and it was pretty damned good. My only complaint was the bacon.. it was tiny itty over cooked bits, rather than larger chunks. I will be coming back with friends for their buffet on a Sunday, and certainly be back on a Friday night for a show when some of the most talented female impersonators in the area take their stage.

Come here for fun! Please order hamburgers and forget your diet for the night, this is supposed to be a blast so please participate! The burger was great! Even the vegetarian in the group was happy with their portobello mushroom burger, the Flatbread not so great.... It's a hamburger place, with tons of options, I'm sure you will find one to like!! Despite booking two weeks ahead of time we didn't get a prime viewing location for the show. The large birthday groups and special occasion groups do have prime viewing areas, be sure to book in advance and request good viewing to the stage. The performers do walk through the entire restaurant, posing with patrons and serenading guests - such as the birthday boy or girl... This is a burlesque male review show - just so you know - but it's done in good taste and with humor... We attended the 730 pm show, we heard the 10 pm show is slightly more risqué... We had fun and we would consider coming back with a larger group in the future, the more the merrier!!!

Great food, Burgers are cooked to excellence. I went on a Friday night and experienced some of the best service I have ever received. The Drag Queen show is hilarious and very professional. It was my first time there and I'll definitely be going back.

Today,we went back to Mary's! this evening around 530, we came to dinner and they had a prime spot reserved for us. Wait staff was incredibly friendly and on point. The manager is amazing! The food was delicious. We had mary burgers and the mac and cheese balls as an appetizer. The queens were WONDERFUL! They really put on a show! They made sure they included the audience, no matter where they were sat. Very very busy. Which is a good sign. Make sure you call ahead! We were treated as VIP the entire time. They treat all their guests as such. We had a really great time. Thanks Keith!

I came here with a few friends on a Saturday night. Before making these plans, I somehow did not know what hamburger Mary's is all about (also read: drag queens). We showed up on a Saturday night around 9 and the Place was packed. We put our name on the list and sat at the bar while waiting for our table. My friends ordered their drinks first. When I tried to get mine, I had to wait about 15 minutes for one of the bartenders to crack open a beer and hand it to me. Gee. Take your time there why don't ya? They had PBR on special for $2. Pretty good deal. After waiting for a while we were finally called for our table. We informed the bartender we were leaving to go to the table (so that he would close out our tabs) and he simply replied in a snark manner "well that's great for you. I'm happy for you". Um, I know you think you're a fabulous diva and all but if you could cut out the extreme attitude that would be great. Seriously. I don't know why anyone who works for tips would talk to a customer this way. I kind of wanted to smack that smirk right off of his face, but my fear of going to the pokey prevented me from doing so. So finally we close out our tabs and are seated. The server at our table was slow since they were busy but much nicer overall luckily. I was only a bit hungry so I got 2 of the little boy bleu sliders, which were quite tasty. Cooked to perfection with a soft bun, lots of tasty toppings and a cherry tomato on top. I tried to order another PBR but they had run out. (Who runs out of their all day beer special?? Booo!) instead I got a bud light, or 3. The 9:30 drag queen show started and was quite interesting to say the least. Definitely entertaining, but a bit too raunchy to bring kids (or conservative friends) too. They performed for about an hour. The music that the DJ played in between was really fun too. Props on that!! Finally we wrapped up the night with the Hershey's s'mores dessert, served over a mini fire with all the usual ingredients. That was fun and tasty. Overall I had a good time here and the food was good. Had it not been for the snotty diva bartender, I would probably give it another star, but that left a bit of a bad taste unfortunately. Would go back again, just be prepared to deal with guys at the bar who don't want to be nice unless you are a sexy gay guy

All around AWESOME! Fun, comfortable, hip, and good food to boot! Ordered a Chicken Cheese Steak and it was perfect - seasoned chicken breast, green and red peppers that still had a little crunch, and mild pepper jack cheese on grilled Cuban bread that still had a little grill crunch (hate when the bread gets mushy, not at Mary's, yo!). BF had the Mary Burger cooked medium and it was great too. Love that you can pick your 'meat' on every burger (angus chuck, turkey, buffalo, chicken breast, salmon, blackbean) and chose your side (fries, coleslaw, potato salad, garlic-parm mashed, etc.). Got the deep fried Twinkies with raspberry sauce & whipped cream for dessert - good but a little greasy. Not as good as the carnival/fair Twinkies that I've had before that seem to be battered (I know, ridonkulous!) I food-stalked some other tables and going to order the Southwest Veggie Wrap and Mary Tyler S'mores next visit :) Drag show was fun and friendly. Toned-down compared to drag shows I've been to at places like GiGi's in Detroit but perfect for general consumption and a great introduction for newbies. LOVE that this restaurant chain exists and is successful. It was packed on a Friday evening with all kinds of people (seniors, couples, bachelorette parties, straight, LGBT - EVERYONE!). Service was great - fast, friendly, authentic interactions from every person we interacted with.

There is a whole heck of a lot to love about this place! We decided to go for the first time in the middle of the afternoon (2:30pm) during the week and there were still a decent number of people here. Surprising, considering they haven't been open for very long and that is the down time. Just the same, there were two servers working at the time and both of them were beyond spectacular. Our server, Paul, made our visit incredibly enjoyable. To be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect. I'd heard they had shows, and that they do things like drag bingo, but if you weren't there during a show-time, you probably wouldn't even know (except for the signs that have days/hours of the special events). Overall, this place is definitely set up for entertaining. There is plenty of seating and a large stage in the middle of the main room where the bar is located. You can get a view of it from almost any of the rooms. They also have a good amount of outdoor seating, if you're of the smoking variety. We ordered hamburgers. Surprise! This IS a hamburger joint, after all. And it shows. The burger was perfectly cooked, I ordered medium and it was just right. Pay the extra $5 for the buffalo and you won't be disappointed. The fries are perfect, the macaroni and cheese was delicious and both of our burgers were excellent. In the future, I'd probably be inclined to order an appetizer and split the burger with someone, though. They are so big! Is this the burger to end all burgers? Nope. But it's a dang good burger. Can't wait to see a show!

Came in on Sunday for brunch. The whole entire bar was empty and the hostess told us to sit wherever we would like. My girlfriend and I sat at the end closest to the stage. As we are getting our food a server comes up to us and all the sudden says that the seats are reserved! How the hell can a full open bar be reserved? Turned my good mood into a bad mood!

Love hamburger Mary's and although my home one is in Chicago, this place was no exception to my love affair - great atmosphere(if you love the drag queen scene), good food(can't go wrong with all the different types of burgers they have) and good show. Only difference between this one and the one I normally go to in Chicago is that the crowd is a little bit older which makes sense as it's in a suburb of Tampa and not the heart of one of the prime gay neighborhoods in Chicago. I had a great time and even got called on stage to 'twerk it'. Free shot too! #winning

Great food , wonderful service from our waiter Grant! He was Superior!!! We went for my mothers birthday. We went to the 7:30 show& it was above expectational. Even took my 8 year old son. Everyone in our party enjoyed everything about Hamburger Mary's! Only complaint would be the view for the show . Get there as early as possible for the best view of the show.

Wow, I love this place! My friends and I come to play drag queen BINGO (sun/mon/wed nights) and it's so much fun! The food and atmosphere are top notch. You will have a blast if you go for Bingo, a show, or just a meal. The hamburgers are awesome!

Hamburger Mary's is a fun new restaurant in Clearwater that I'm glad I finally got to visit. We went for the Sunday Brunch because what could be better than an all-you-can-eat brunch and a drag show at the same time? I was so excited! The theme of the restaurant is very lively and colorful, with a random assortment of posters and fashion accessories adorning the walls. Some of my favorite eye candy was the beautiful bar and a neat water feature built into the wall behind the stage. The buffet itself was pretty decent. My favorite items were the pumpkin pie(delish!) and the cornbread stuffing. The spread had a variety of items to offer, with half of them being breakfast foods and half being lunch foods. The line was never too long and they constantly had a server checking on the food and refilling it where necessary. The drag show was quite fun to watch. They had four different performers, each with their own genre and stage presence. The only thing I disliked is whenever the emcee was talking, it was hard to make out was she was saying because of the sound distribution. But whenever I -did- hear it, she was hilarious. I will definitely be coming back. Maybe I'll try the Drag Bingo!

We recently came here for Sunday Brunch. We chose the brunch buffet, which was ok. Scrambled eggs, bacon (mmm...bacon), sausage, sausage gravy and home made biscuits, fried chicken, plus other offerings. All for $12.99. It was OK, next time we go we'll probably order off their extensive menu. The show was OK too. It was a mixed house with some kids in attendance, it was very tame. We saw four entertainers perform about 10 minutes each. Like I said very low key. All interacted with the audience. We look forward to going again, maybe on a Friday or Saturday night for dinner and a more adult orientated show. Pro Tip: Make sure you have some $1.00 bills with you for gratuity for the entertainers.

We went Friday night, but too early for the show. Short version- our service was great and the burgers were amazing!! I had the Buffy and it was the best burger I have had in a long time. Perfectly cooked, the unsuspecting combination of wine and garlic aioli was to die for. It was sweet, salty, and savory. I also had their Friday night drink special: $5 fruit punch. Strong and sweet it was the icing on my Friday cake! I'm so happy to find a place with trivia! I'll definitely be back on Tuesday for bogo burgs and team trivia and next time will make reservations for dinner and a show!

Delightfully raunchy! The drag show is a must see. Think 50s dinner with flamboyant flair. The mixed drinks are creative and delicious. The burgers are juicy and classic. I am partial to the fried Mac and cheese app!

I had been waiting to get a chance to go to this place, which turns out to be almost funny, because I could not have been much more disappointed. The food was okay, but the whole point of Hamburger Mary's is the drag show. Well, I thought it was pretty terrible...unless what you'd like is VERY hefty, unattractive drag queens. I mean, these girls were big!!! And, I expect drag queens to try to look feminine...which was definitely missing from at least one of the "girls". I have no idea what Hamburger Mary's is thinking here, but I heard from a friend that their Ybor location also has very large girls. The environment is very loud, but that really would have been okay if the show was better. Sadly: Pass on this place!

I normally go on Sundays and get the brunch buffet and mimosas and I get a drag show. I love the bartender on Sundays :) fun place to be with great atmosphere. The menu is a little pricey I think. I haven't actually tried a hamburger yet.

You want an experience while eating out? This is the place to go! And don't forget to leave your kids at home with the sitter! Totally fun restaurant with an extensive menu. They have killer, non-traditional burgers. I had the Mac Daddy which was amazing. Burger topped with mac and cheese, talk about pure heaven! Their fries leave something to be desired though. Pick another side :) They also do a pretty delicious smores for dessert, where you roast the marshmallows table side yourself. So fun! If you can make it to a Drag Show Bingo it's definitely worth it. Absolutely hilarious and entertaining. These drags are the best! The Drag Show Brunch on Sundays is super fun as well!

Deserves a visit but I wish I could say a whole lot more. The burgers are decent/good but definitely not great. The fries are very good though. The one thing I would say is that the variety of burgers is pretty interesting, even offering buffalo meat. All in all t is a fun place with good service and a fun concept. If you want to have a fun time and are not necessarily looking to be amazed by the burgers, this is a great place.

Another great night at Hamburger Mary's. I had the spicy Mary and it was perfect. The place was awash with middle aged women, a handful of men and a great show. Why is it that trannies have much better legs and butts than real women? I would kill to have an a$$ like theirs.

As our mid-county option for Dining Out for Life, we stopped by for dinner. There was a robust crowd with nearly every table full. We were greeted by our server(Melissa) and ordered our beverages and a large order of Mary's Hot Legs with Teriyaki sauce(see pic). It came with ranch dressing rather than blue cheese. They were messsssy but delicious. Luckily, the tables have heaps of napkins available. For entrees, I ordered the Barbra-Q Bacon Cheeseburger and my partner ordered the "Big Kahuna" Hawaiian Burger(see pics). We both opted for the up-charge to get onion rings. The kitchen immediately brings out your burger once they're ready...nice and hot. My burger was huge but messily manageable when cut in half. The flavors of the BBQ sauce and cheese were very tasty. My burger was extra juicy and I had to put a napkin under it to keep it intact. I'm always a bit hesitant when ordering a bacon cheeseburger because I hate limp bacon but their bacon was perfectly crisp. I ate every little portion. The Big Kahuna was awesome, too. The grilled pineapple and teriyaki sauce made a wonderful flavor combo. We were both pleased with the portion size, crispiness and flavor of the onion rings. We would definitely recommend them. My first impression was, "yeah, a really good $10 hamburger!" The only negative that we could find was the complete lack of milkshakes/malts on the menu. A nice malt would have made it a near perfect burger experience. We left before the drag show started. Believe me, I've seen my share of drag shows. I hope they raised lots of money for A.S.A.P(a local AIDS service non-profit organization). Please stop by and get a juicy burger. You will not regret it!

Bingo is so much fun! However it was difficult at times to hear what is being called out because it can get pretty loud in there even with the speakers AND the caller is talking and talking about random things than calls out a number.... Although fun and entertaining as it may be, I can't freaking hear the damn numbers being called.... If you're going for bingo, you better Rvsp.... Like months, per the waitress.... Better chance of getting a closer tablet with advance Rvsp I got the piñacollada it was a 3/5. Not great, Salsa and chips: chips were good but the ridiculous salsa....omg lacking of any seasonings...I swear to you it tasted by chopped up tomatoes, tiny amount of onions, and water !!!!!!!!! My sister added... Salt...pepper....hot sauce.....just horrible. Yuck salsa: a score of negative 3 out of 5. I'll be back though. Bingo was fun. I'll give the food another go.....

Matt, Jeremy and Jewels are the best. Matt is very attentive and an excellent server He kicks ass. The burgers are the best we ever ate in Florida. We went to Capital Grill for lunch, and had their burger, and spend over 120 bucks. Hamburger Mary's were far better in quality and taste.Go and eat!

Hamburger Heaven with an added bonus of a drag show! Wanting to have a girls night out I read the Yelp reviews about Hamburger Mary's and their drag show. I decided this would be a fun place for a Friday night to start out with. I tried calling the day before several times to make a reservation but each time the phone just rang and I wasn't able to get through to anyone. Eh, figuring we could just get a table in the back there were only 5 of us, Friday night came and we went. Arriving at Hamburger Mary's about 6:45pm we walked in and the place was PACKED! Every table was full and the hostess told me they were completely booked, we would have to sit at the bar. The bar was PACKED, there were only two chairs available and we were a party of 5. The hostess told us we could sit outside, there was plenty of seating out there. Humm.. its July - the sun hadn't set yet - all of us girls were dressed in our best girls night out gear with makeup to go with it. The prospect of sitting outside for dinner melting in the Florida heat and missing the much talked about drag show didn't appeal to me. I returned to the hostess stand to see what I could do and if by magic a party with a reservation was a no show and we were seated at their highly coveted table. We watched several parties arrive thereafter and each time the hostess directed them outside. Now that our seating debacle was resolved, it was time for the important part of the evening the hamburgers! Straight away we ordered an appetizer the Spiny Dipper - a spinach artichoke dip with tortilla chips. Perusing the menu I was happily surprised at the variety of burgers they offered. Not only does Hamburger Mary's offer a large selection of burger fixings and toppings, they also offer a variety of meat to choose from as your burger. Choices include 100% ground Angus chuck, turkey, black bean patty, buffalo, chicken, or salmon. You get a choice of sides with your burger: fries, coleslaw, potato salad, mashed potatoes or you can up-charge for a side salad, sweet potato wedges, veggies, onion rings or mac n cheese. I ordered the Barbra-q-bacon cheese burger with buffalo as my burger meat, cooked medium, with an up-charge for sweet potato wedges. The burger came topped with a slice of thick cut bacon, BBQ sauce, cheddar and jack cheese, a fried onion ring, lettuce, pickles and tomato. This burger was massive!! There was no way I was going to be able to pick it up and eat it the way it was delivered so I cut it in half. After I did I could see the burger was cooked more medium rare. The drag show had already started so it was likely I wasn't going to see our waitress for a bit, throwing caution to the wind, I dug in. The burger meat was flavored nicely, very juicy, a bit more pink then I like, but still very tasty. The thick cut bacon was a bit tough on the very soft bun, melted cheese and tender burger patty but the fried onion ring had some crunch. The smoky sweet BBQ sauce added the perfect tang to all of the flavors. The sweet potato wedges were large thick cuts of sweet potato, fried and salt seasoned to perfection. Crunchy salty outside with soft sweetness inside, these were darn good sweet potato fries. Of course during our meal the drag show was going on. The service was actually good considering the waitress had to maneuver around the performers to refill drinks and deliver food. The show started with an opening number with all of girls performing together. One of the girls acted as the MC after the opening number and each gal came out to perform individually. The girls were great, playing their respective parts with pizzazz. They performed for tips at each table and watching the guest interactions with the performers was just as much fun as the acts themselves. Their costumes and makeup were of course over the top too. Overall, the food was great and the entertainment a ton of fun, this is a great Friday night out destination - just make sure you make a reservation first!!

We bought a groupon and came just 15 minutes past the time frame. (I didn't read the fine print). We sat at the bar and the bartender/waiter still honored the groupon. We were the only ones there and were a little blindsided because we didn't realize what we were walking in to. The decor was cool and I wish we had skipped the groupon and gone during bingo night or a show night. As for food and drinks, I had a Mary punch (or something to that effect). It had 3 different vodkas in it and was delicious. And strong! My husband and I both ordered burgers and they were amazing! Huge, juicy and delicious! I recommend this place, but go in the evening when it probably livens up!

Good Good Good !!! All of their food was good. My favorite was my Husbands plate, He had the chicken and waffles. I'm not a fan of chicken and waffles by I'm a fan of MARY's Chicken and waffles. The Syrup or honey or whatever that was with the toasted almonds drizzled on the chicken and waffles kept me eating off of his plate. The meatloaf (my plate) was pretty good too, fresh, well seasoned and delicious with a little extra flavor from the bacon wrap. The burgers were pretty good too. juicy and delicious. Now, on to the entertainment. the girls were good as well. Very pretty, very well dressed and entertaining. My only issue is that they can disappear from view for a while because the room is split and part of the stage is hidden. Had they stayed on stage so we could get a complete show I would have given 5 stars. I know they had to go mingle with the guests though so no hard feelings.

We went to Hamburger Mary's for a nice weekday dinner. The service was okay. It was their first Monday night trivia so it was super busy. We were seated right away and were told about the all you can eat taco bar but decided to go with burgers instead. We waited a while for our drinks to come and then ordered. I had the Mac Daddy burger which had cheese, Mary's sauce, and Mac and cheese on the burger. The atmosphere was very girly. The walls were pink and purple decorated with purses and jewelry. Since it was the first ever trivia night, everything was an experiment. We didn't participate in the trivia although it was way too loud. Hamburger Mary's would have deserved 5 stars if it wasn't for the slow service and the loud trivia. I recommend it for a nice dinner, but don't suggest going on trivia night unless you're planning on joining in.

I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I went there on a bingo night. It was a bit overwhelming, needless to say. I ordered mac and cheese balls, which were amazing, and a veggie wrap. I was disappointed by the lack of vegetarian options. They do offer portobello mushroom substitutes, but as a hater of mushrooms, the lack of a typical veggie burger was disappointing. Next time I attend said burger joint, I will be sure to thoroughly imbibe.

Went for dinner. We arrived at about 6:40pm and a show was just winding down. They said they could seat us at a table but we had to be out by 7:20 because the next show was sold out. Or we could sit in the bar. We opted for the table in hopes it wouldn't be quite so loud. I mean REALLY loud. Loved the decor and the end of the show. Online it said they had a vegan burger but they did not. Husband opted for a mushroom cap burger and I had two appetizers. Flat bread with no cheese and Mary's Tatas which are like tater tots but homemade. We loved the food. Everything was good. Our server was excellent and we were out by around 7:22pm. Overall a good experience. We will go back with a reservation and see an entire show. But I may bring some earplugs...did I mention it was loud?

The entertainment is great however, during my one and only visit, the food was horrible! I got a burger, expecting it to be awesome; hence the name of the restaurant. The bun was stale, the fries tasted like day old fries that had been sitting under a heat lamp for days, and the underside of the plate was dirty. The attempt at dividing the restaurant into sections is a fail as the music from the show is way too loud! So if you sit in the "restaurant" section don't expect to be able to carry on a conversation with anyone if a show is in progress. I would go back, but strictly for drinks and entertainment......not for dinner.

Haven't see any of the shows yet as I usually get there too early or too late. Hamburgers are good and the staff is super friendly so keep revisiting for lunch and dinner. I was amazed one evening to show up and see more kids in there than Chuckie Cheese, guess that's ok but just not used to that in a Bar/Restaurant

Food was really good, but we didn't get to stick around for the show. The service was fun and on-point, burgers are very messy, and very tasty.

You don't come here for the food. It very well done American chain restaurant fare, but nothing to impress a foodie. It's a good meal. You come for the show and the drinks and to have a great time with friends. Drag show or bingo, you will laugh and leave light hearted. But show up early or make reservations because the odd arrangement of the restaurant doesn't allow for great viewing areas

I'd heard about the Ybor location, but clearly hadn't heard about the show, just the food. Super neat place. Not for kids. My husband and I had a rare afternoon away from our kids and decided to check this out hoping for a good burger and some drinks. We got both and so much more. First off, the bartender was attentive and fabulous. The menu is slightly higher end bar food, burgers were great. Then this incredible show of performers began. Who knew female impersonators were both so talented and mainstream? The music was rocking, the people were happy, and the performers were actually quite. talented. All on an early Saturday night in clearwater Fl. This area keeps impressing me with the new food choices and the eclectic crowd. I would definitely recommend for the food and service. The entertainment was a bonus.

Several friends gather once a month for the Sunday Brunch. I've been twice. The first time the buffet included a taco bar. -- That food was rather bland (though they had hot sauce on the bar.) It was messier than I expected... and that's my fault. Today the buffet was delightful... Fluffy scrambled eggs, french toast, bacon, sausage, and other breakfast favorites. The mashed potatoes were wonderful... excellent flavor... chives and sour cream mixed in for a rich flavor. Someone at the table had the fried chicken, and assured me it was good. --But I was too full to go back and try it myself. The show is lively and upbeat. Yes, children are sometimes there.. and the ladies dial it back so it is safe for little ears. The singers are quite funny and well choreographed. I adore the outfits... and admire anyone who can walk in those shoes. Go to the show.. you'll see what I mean. The question below asked if take out is available. It might be, but why would you want to miss the show??!! Next time I'll order a hamburger...

Awesome! My husband had been asking and asking to go but I was skeptical as no restaurant lasts at this specific location longer than a fee months but I must say I think Hamburger Mary's is here to stay! The food was amazing! We had the potato skins for an appetizer, I had the sliders with sweet potato wedges and my hubby had the Mac Daddy burger with French fries. Service was great and the environment was fun! Will definitely go back soon!

The burgers were very unique and flavorful, the onion rings were nothing special but our fried Mac & Cheese Balls appetizer was excellent but could have been more than 6 for the price. Dessert was amazing as they brought a mini charcoal grill about the size of a coffee mug to the table with all the fixings for s'mores. We had a blast roasting marshmallows at our table and making s'mores. The entertainment was great fun and there was audience participation which had us laughing our heads off. A truly unique place, good food and loads of fun!

I have eaten here for lunch twice. Neither was great. Horribly managed business, poor service and ok food. They will be out of business very soon, watch.

Good burgers and entertainment..loud though! I like the selection of burgers and meat they offer..outside of that, i can't say there burger is any better than any other burger..maybe a bit more expensive. Its ok, no complaints other than a little high priced.

A group of my friends and I went to see the show and have dinner last Saturday. We enjoyed the show it was different but fun. The hamburger most of us ordered was out standing, probably best burger I have had in years, the drinks were not bad either. I would definitely go back again.

The burgers are huge and very tasty. Our server was very friendly. Just a few small oversights like not bringing us the correct amount of spoons for our desert. Loud music plays even when there isn't a show playing. By and large the pros heavily outweigh the cons. The show was excellent. Lots of audience participation. Over all a wonderful experience and I plan to go back soon.
