I kept hearing good reviews from co-workers about this place so I had to give it a whirl. Service was good...called in my lunch order and did not really have to wait much at all. Food was just average...nothing that stuck out too much but I will give it another try and see if I get "wowed" over a different dish. Prices decent and good weekday lunch specials!

It's cheap food for cheap. The sides are poor quality prepackaged garbage but the sandwiches are decent. It's an OK choice but you won't want to come back often.

If I could give this a zero I would. I've ordered delivery several times and the order has never been correct, not 1 time! Food taste like grease cooked in grease. This place is terrible

The value priced food along with the amazing taste makes this a must go on your list of breakfast and lunch places in Clearwater, If you're going for lunch try the Turkey Club~ YUMO

So i work about 5 min. away and everyone at my work goes here and i go all the time. I went in this morning to grab breakfast for me and my coworker and ordered a blt and she said it was on special and it comes with a side so i said potatoes and then ordered the same wrap i get all the time and she rang me up and i even left a $2 tip. I go to grab a sweet tea and its not made. So i just get a soda and go to grab a straw and there are none and its all dirty and has not been cleaned from yesterday. I asked for a straw and the whole employee staff was talking amongst each other not paying any attention. After waiting awhile for a straw I sat down to wait for my food. She gave me my food and i looked in and saw no potatoes so i asked for them and she said oh yea...gave me a little thing of potato salad...why would i wan potato salad at 8 am? So i told her the miscommunication and she said she would cook them and to go up front so i could be charged for them....even though it was their mess up. I went up front and gave the employee my card and he says rudely that they have a minimum charge of $5 ...so i gave him the $2 and went on my way and she gave me my potatoes and i went on my day just amazed at such rudeness. Then i get to work and there are potatoes in my wrap! Eww I have never had that...so i wasted $15 and ruined my morning so please do not go here!

Good for a grab and go lunch. Really big sandwiches, good selection, good food. Quick service.

I've eaten here several times now and it's just OK. Be warned: They douche EVERYTING in oregano, which is quite frankly just weird. If you are going to cover a chef salad or a sandwich with it, put it on the menu so that those of us who hate oregano can order it without it. They also tend to be heavy handed with mayo and the mushrooms they use are canned not "marinated" which is what the menu states. That said, they do make a killer club sandwich. I order mine on toasted wheat instead of their "two-handed" roll which is, you guessed it, covered in oregano. Since I do like the club, I took a few chances and ordered some other menu items and none of them were edible. The italian wedding soup tasted like nothing, I have no idea how they even accomplished this. The other things were inedible due to the oregano factor. Bottom line, I've had several menu items and I will never ever eat anything here again except for the toasted wheat club.

Good food but not the best. If all you are looking for is a quick bite than this place is fine. It is as no frills as they come. The prices and portions are fair.

Meh, It's alright. I definitely would not call Chris' Kitchen one of the finest delis in the area. I got the Reuben lunch special (Sandwich, small side of potato salad and a drink) for $7.49. Not a bad price, the sandwich was good size. Girlfriend got a turkey club which was pretty unconventional, it was on a big round piece of bread that sort of resembled foccacia bread, and had bacon bits instead of slices of bacon. Not your typical club sandwich. She was disappointed. The meat was quality, all Boars Head so everything is good there. I wish that you got a pickle with a lunch special or a sandwich. The potato salad was pretty good, it had a sweet taste. The service was ok, but I mean I wasn't expecting something of Bern's type service from a deli, so it was on par with my expectations. They did forget to put the bacon on the turkey club, but they fixed it right away. Overall, I wouldn't tell anyone to avoid Chris' Kitchen (especially with the lack of a non-chain sandwich in the area), but I also wouldn't rush to go. Give it a try though, it's a locally owned small business that's been around forever if you count their old location in Clearwater.

So I have to update my previous review in regards to breakfast here. THe breakfas here is terrible!!! Eggs ordered over easy were so greasy and of course cooked over too high a heat so the edges were brown & crusty. Potatoes were literally black, BLACK!! English muffin wrapped in aluminum with no sign of toasting but tons of butter to sog it down, and don't forget the burnt bacon I didn't even order that came with it. Owners were courteous and of course gave a refund. But unfortunately this was the second, albeit the last, time I order breakfast from here.

If you haven't been to Chris' Kitchen, what the hell are you thinking! All the sandwhiches are huge, tasty, and inventive. Double stamp tuesday gets you 2 stamps towards a free sandwhich. Daily specials are great. Service is quick and super-friendly. Eating in is preferred but if you have to have it delivered they take great care in wrapping your food (and drinks!) to make sure you get everything as fresh as possible. If you used to go to Tuscon's for a quick lunch, make Chris' your new spot!

Literally just ordered delivery and they were FAST (came within 10/15 minutes of my ordering). I will note that I ordered a fountain Diet Pepsi and got a can of Diet Coke instead, no big deal. My sandwich was accurate and tasted just fine and the bread was very fresh. To get to the $10 delivery order I also got a brownie and that was pretty tasty, and a huge piece too. Prices are more than fair, especially coming from NY. The potato salad that came with the sandwich was pretty gross however. It was SO sweet that I had one bite and threw it out. Other than the miss on the soda and the potato salad, I would order from here again if I'm ever in the area.

I have been going to Chris' Kitchen for a few years now. To be honest, their Sloppy Reuben is an awesome experience. However, its a once-in-awhile event as I would be 400lbs if I ate it as much as I would like to. That said, I was there on 6/8/15 and ordered my Sloppy Reuben. With my mouth watering, I bit into the sandwich. Wow, amazing how things have changed since I have been there last. The bread was pressed hot, but the meat was cold inside. The cheese was not even melted and you couldn't taste any of the dressing on the sandwich. For the first time ever, I couldn't eat the whole sandwich, not because it was too big, but because it was horrible. To be honest, this was not what I have ever experienced at Chris' Kitchen. They just lost me as a customer for good. As a side note, I noticed that the place was very dirty. The walls needed painting and the floor was disgusting. The counters looked cluttered and dirty as well. A total disappointed for a place that I considered one of the gems in the Tampa Bay area. I will never go back.

Only two stars because everything is covered in lots of basil. Who wants a turkey club with basil. How about a hamburger..with basil. Let's look at the chef salad..yep more basil. I was very disappointed in eating here for lunch with my co-workers. They as well said they were not a fan. Chilli has a strange taste to..probably too much basil. I do not recommend.
