Service was excellent, food was pretty good... place was super clean! Pay attention to the total on your bill. We noticed we where overcharged when we got home by about 3 bucks. Even after that, I would still go back and try the breakfast menu as I have heard good things!

Let me start with a cold day and a concerned owner who explained to us that if we sat toward the back, we would not get a cold blast of air when the door opened. Very nice of them. Anyhow, The place is small and cozy but has plenty of room even for a larger party. The restaurant has a small tribute to American soldiers and vets and is very clean. The owners greeted us and made us feel very welcome. The waitress had a big smile on her face and was prompt with coffee refills. We ordered breakfast. Anything from eggs, hash and cakes. Eggs were cooked good, but my cakes were not as warm as i like them. Sweet potato fries were very good. Nothing stood out as fabulous, but nothing stood out as horrible. The meals were big enough for a fill and a has good flavor and seasoned well. The Palm Tree Cafe is a place I will definitely return to for good and satisfying meals. If you are looking for a friendly mom and pops restaurant with good food, then the Palm Tree Cafe would be a place to check out.

The Palm Tree Cafe has had new owners for the last year. We have worked hard to make it a pleasant experience for our customers. We serve homemade soup, breakfast all day and we use locally grown produce. Try our sewer potato pancakes today!

Stopped in for the first with my husband this morning. While I will say we had absolutely no issue with our food or service, what we witnessed from the owner will keep us from ever giving them another dime. There was apparently an issue with another table's food. The server let the owner know who immediately disagreed with what the complaints were. Everything the waitress said was met with "No it's not, no way". The table left and the owner continued to talk in a condescending fashion about he "knew as soon as they came in they'd be that way, that the guy probably didn't have $20 to his name" and how "if he had gone over there he would have thrown them out on their ass". All direct quotes from what we heard as he hung in the window talking to the cook and his wife who was on the phone at the counter the entire time. I feel sorry for the employees working there. If he's like that in the front of the house, imagine what he does behind the scenes. It took everything in me to not say something to his NY/NJ, I'm better than everyone's, face. And I'm FROM NJ! I didn't because I have class - something this man is sorely lacking. Please spend your money elsewhere.

The service is terrible and the food isn't fresh. My hamburger was a frozen hockey puck from Walmart but charged $4.99 plus $1.29 for fries.

Call me prejudice...the only reason I would not give this really nice breakfast lunch nook 5 stars is that I don't think the folks running it are from NJ LOL!!!!! The prices are so low!!! The food and the coffee is great. Lots of local folks. Waitress was fantastic!!! No Debit cards!!! Mac machine is nearby !!

This is by far my favorite little breakfast spot. The food won't win any awards, but it always hits the spot. The wait staff is friendly, and it's always full of an older crowd (seniors) so I never have to worry about being disturbed. The food is filling and cheap, and pretty good for the price. Normal breakfast and lunch fare is available, and not much else. The only problem? They're only open till about 2pm and are a cash only restaurant. I only gave it a 3 star because the food is only so-so. I talk so highly of it because it holds a special place to me :)
