Back in April of 2014 we were on our way to Weeki Wachee Springs and found this little gem! By little we are only talking about three tables, so if you come as a large family you'll take up most of the space. I had the half-chicken with collards. My husband went crazy over their BBQ pork and potato salad. The food was to die for! Roberto and his wife who run the place are incredibly friendly and loves to talk, especially with kids!

If you live in Brooksville, FL or passing through, this place a is a must stop. The atmosphere is very casual and they have all these really cute antiques items decorating the place. The staff in very nice BUT the star of this place is the FOOD, more specifically their pressed Cuban sandwiches! It's soooooo good! I love this place! You wouldn't be disappointed, and the prices are reasonable!
Such a wonderful place!!! Love coming here everday. Love the pressed cuban sandwich its a recommend. Come here right after school after craving their food through out the day. Its local and fresh. Who doesnt like fresh food... This is a place to come by and say hi and sit down and chow down.
First time in and impressed by the Super friendly staff. Great location and staff. Menu was confusing and is mostly deli style sandwiches. Soup was great! My salad however was not. While it was fresh and large it was made of shredded iceberg lettuce and very lightly topped with other basic veggies. The rest of the party enjoyed their sandwiches. Dessert was good but it seems the warmed cobbler was microwaved and was chewy. Not much fruit. Overall a good snack. Place was good for a light lunch but don't expect a lot of variety.

Being from New York City I am very glad I found this place. It's a Very awesome place to eat at. Everything bagel has nice flavor to it. The ambience is very comforting also. I recommend the cinnamon rolls.. They literally should be labelled a drug because of how addicting they are. Try their cold brew black also.. It has a nice strong flavor with a subtle kick to it. So far the drinks I have had have been very smooth and flavorful, well blended aroma and good coffee taste. Starbucks and Dunkin donuts are all dump franchises. This place is a true COFFEE SHOP. The other benefit is that they are open till 10PM on Friday and Saturday. The customer service good and the staff is very nice! Keep up the great work and I wish this business the best. Definitely has the hipster vibe I used to experience back in Brooklyn.
Considering that they are right next to a Dunkin' Donuts, this place seems to really hold their own. The coffee menu is extensive and they feature fair-trade, organic, earth-friendly options to please every hipster. I usually just order a drip coffee, so I can't comment on the fancy drinks, but I'm sure they're good. The last time I went, I ordered a toasted plain bagel with cream cheese. It was delicious. I appreciate, too, that they gave me the cream cheese in a small to-go container, which meant that my bagel didn't get soggy on the way to my destination. The scones and muffins that were on display looked very tempting as well. The ambiance is cool, quiet, and vintage-feeling.
First, let me say that their iced chai tea is very good. If you are getting coffee or tea then you are fine. The food is horrendous. My co-worker and I picked up a sandwich to go for each of us. The sandwiches were gross and were not quality. The first issue was opening the brown bag it came in and there was two pieces of bread with ingredients not put together. They were not even wrapped in anything and just laying in the bag. The avocado was brown. My other co-worker at in the place one day and she went to take a bite out of her sandwich and there was a live roach in it. She complained to the manager and they didn't offer to pay for it or anything. The people that work at the drive thru window are usually rude and have an attitude.

Perfect Cubans for sure
What a hidden gem. They have great specials and make an awesome $1.25 bacon, egg and cheese on an English muffin. I usually stop on the way to school up the road and eat 1 or 2. Another great thing about this place is the owner, a really nice guy that generally seems concerned about your experience. Awesome Subs, Lasagna and Gyros!
Excellent subs and Italian food. I'm not from this area but will visit again if I'm in the area. The owner is Italian so you can't go wrong with the everyday Italian lunch specials. The Cuban is also good.

Very nice cashier lady. Gave us tips on how to reheat baked goods. Food is superb. Bfast sausage is tasty.
Greated warmly by the hostess, the waitress Shawna L. We let them know that we have never been here and they were very informative as to the background of the restaurant. They gave personal experiences with the food and were overall warm. I ordered the beef and mushrooms and my friend ordered the homestead. Both were amazing. We will be back!!
Why the place has 5 stars is beyond my understanding. I was in town visiting family and stopped in for dinner because I had a breakfast food craving. We walked in around 5:00 pm and they were not very busy. It took us a few minutes to be seated, lots of empty tables that hadn't been cleaned or cleared of plates. Our waitress brought out our drinks and took our order. While waiting on my food I went to the ladies room to wash my hands, the floors were extremely sticky and even after I exited the restroom my shoes were still sticking to the floor. My dad also noticed this about the men's room floor as well. When this was mentioned to the store manager as we left, she argued that she had just been in the restroom earlier and it was fine, but she would check it out. Back to the food. The food was mediocre at best and my bacon was very tough. I had the egg, bacon, and biscuit breakfast and my dad ordered a couple of appetizers and wasn't impressed either. We were never checked in on, however in passing the waitress said she would refill my dad's drink because it was empty. About 30 minutes later she had still not refilled his drink and we were done eating and ready to leave. As we asked for the check she brought the drink, my dad told her thanks but we were done and wanted the check. She then slams the check on the table and walks away. Upon looking at the bill we noticed she gave us a check for another table, the manager was informed and promptly gave us the correct bill, we paid and left. It was clear they could have used more staffing, however they were not busy and will a little effort could have provided better service. We did not return to this restaurant again while in town and would not recommend it. Go to Breakfast Station if your hungry for breakfast, great food and great service. I will not likely visit any Bob Evan's in the future, this restaurant gave a really bad impression on the standards of the chains quality and service.

Love this place. Theresa is always friendly and there will be months I don't go. Wife and I show up and drinks are on the table with appetizer ready before we get a hi out. Amazing! The food just as good. Everything I have tried has been great, do the tacos you won't be sorry!
This place is awesome,, great food and such nice and fast service.. I have worked in Rest. All my life. So I am very picky about service and food. I give the THUMBS UP...being retired this year, we golf everyday, so lunch and breakfast is out, but every Friday night this is our dinner place to go... You have to try it for sure. Leo and Finis
Best breakfast in town and the service is always on point. Prices are average for the area. I just wish they were open later on Saturdays :-)

I was in town for business and stopped in this place. It has a very unique feel eating lunch in and antique shop! Had great service and great food. Prices were very reasonable. I had the half of sandwich and soup, the ham and Swiss sandwich on the croissant with the Swiss baked potato soup. No complaints everything was delicious and very fast for being on lunch break. I will definitely be returning.
My elderly mother and I went to Mallie Kylas today. They told us it would be a five minute wait. We told them that we couldn't stand for that period and would wait outside. She did not acknowledge what I said except to say it's ONLY five minutes. Five minutes standing is something neither of us can do. There was no place to sit, and nothing was offered to us. No one came to get us outside to let us know that our table was ready. We left. Even getting from the car to a restaurant is hard for us. I have just gotten out of the hospital, and my mother is quite elderly. The ridiculous insensitivity to disability exhibited today at this cafe means that we will never return. We encourage anyone who cares about disability issues to boycott this restaurant.
I used to think they have great food. But after today, I don't think so. The chicken sandwich that i ordered was not what it used to be, it was bland, just OK, a chicken salad sandwich from Arby's is actually better. The soup was lukewarm and again, missing something - too bland, does not taste like cheese at all. Is not a place that I will go back to.

Great little place right on the beach. I got a grilled chicken wrap and it was very tasty. The burgers I saw on other tables looked incredible. Service was prompt and the outdoor seating area was clean and provided some much needed shade. I definitely recommend Willy's if you're at the beach.
THE BEST FOOD AT ANY BEACH CAFE ON THE FLORIDA GULF COAST! Willy's has been at Pine Island for twenty years and I have been going to Pine Island beach for nineteen, so I have personal experience behind my opinion! Anyone who is a regular to the beach will tell you how good Willy's food is. The burgers and hot dogs may be specialties, but oh my! The pork tenderloin - I haven't had one as good since the last Indiana county fair I went to, over thirty years ago. Willy may be a little grizzled and grey-haired now, but hey, I'm not in a bikini any longer either. He is so nice as is his staff. There are plenty of covered tables to sit at while you eat and stare out at that gorgeous view that is Pine Island. Willy's takes cash only but there is an ATM available. A true Florida treasure combo - Pine Island beach and Willy's!
Nice little snack stand with lots of food choices right on Pine Island. Has a Tiki bar type roof to keep you shaded and plenty of Gulf Coast Breezes to keep you cool!! I like this place!!!!

Nice good food but service sucked. I was late to work because they did not give me my check (supposedly you are suppose to get up and actually pay at the register but no one tells you) My first experience wasnt that great. Service sucked!!
I am impressed by this "hole in the wall" joint. No doubt its the new ownership. I really like the care, ingredients and customer service from each of the ladies I've been served by, highly recommended. Portions are almost too large, a good problem to have. And they have cold brew coffee!
Visited here over the weekend on a date strolling through town. Definitely a hidden gem. Delicious selections, beautiful decor. All the great things in a great place.
