Great food. Tom yum soup was awesome. Also had crab Rangoon that was very good and real crab. Not just cream cheese. The pad Thai was top notch. Can't wait to try the red curry next time.

Service dog friendly. 31 Oct 13..lunch Food was great, seasoned properly, good sized portions. Service was perfect. Presentation of food was everything you would expect from a quality Thai establishment. Price was around 12 dollars each...highly recommend!

While traveling in Florida, we searched Yelp and found this four and a half star Thai food restaurant near the freeway that was currently congested. We were happy that we made the detour. While on the exterior, this place seemed like another strip center Asian restaurant. We certainly did not see a boat until we entered the restaurant. There was a replica boat that was the centerpiece of the decorations in the restaurant. This is where are wonderful dining experience began. The waitress was very polite and helpful in helping us decide what to order. We started with the spring rolls and steamed dumplings. The presentation was outstanding ( see the photos posted with a delicate butterfly carrots). The spring rolls and dumplings were properly cooked and very tasty. For dinner, we ordered the pad thai and Panang chicken curry family style. The noodles were properly cooked and well seasoned. In fact, we ordered another one to go so that we could eat it later that evening when we reached our resort condo. The chicken curry was made with on my white meat chicken and the sauce and rice were wonderful. We ordered both dishes medium, but the Penang curry was a little bit mild. was probably due to the sauce and the curry softening the heat of the spice somewhat. For dessert, we shared the mango and sticky rice. It was a great finish to this wonderful dining experience. The little touches like carved garnish and accommodating wait staff set this place apart from many other Thai restaurants.

Great Thai food and fast and friendly service! Try the home made spice tray to season your meal with the perfect amount of heat for you! Nice ambience.

Really great service! So friendly. The restaurant is very clean. I had the Tom Kah Gai soup and my husband had the Tom Yum. Both were spicy...which we liked. I ordered the Drunken Noodles with chicken and R. had the Basil Fried Rice with beef. We really loved both. The menu is not huge...kind of refreshing not to have 8 pages of things to choose from.

Unfortunately, Thai Boat was a miss for me. The Chicken Pad Thai was very bland. No flavor at all. But I appreciate the hand-carved butterfly as well as the hand carved snail on my Thai tea. Those were nice touches. The Thai tea was very good so that was a positive. There were two servers and just me and another party to be served. Yet I had to wait 15 min for my check because the two servers were busy preparing the food for the other table. And I didn't even get my water refilled. The waitress seemed nice but I guess she put me on the back burner when the table of 4 put in their orders. The restaurant also lacked any kind of atmosphere. For these reasons, I won't return.

Great food, great service. Got the crab rangoons, they were incredibly small.. They were more like crab rangoon bites. No free refills for sodas since they're canned drinks. The atmosphere is beautiful of course. Got the chicken panang, which was delicious. Their pad thai wasnt sweet, which was a good thing since most americanized thai restaurants add sugar to their dishes. If i come back, it'll be for the panang curry.

This is the best authentic Thai restaurant that we like so far and trust me, we've tried plenty. Their papaya salad is amazing and so is their beef stir fry. We also get the fried rice and the only disappointment that we get from this place is when they run out of food and yes, they do run out of food. Must be that fresh! Our favorite Thai restaurant as of today.

Went for lunch today with a coworker. We heard a lot of good thing about it. The place is nice and clean. The service is kinda slow. The place was empty around 3-4pm and we were the only people there. Our good came out 35 minutes later. We order chicken satay, papaya salad and laab gai. It's not what I'm used to. It's was bland and not much flavored. It's was just okay to me.

This is the to go to place for Papaya salad and Beef PAD BAI KRAPROW . The papaya salad is an ultimate mixture of papaya and pepper that makes your mouth waterfall with an endless stream of flavour. The beef PAD BAI KRAPROW is to your taste buds as the sun is to life on Earth. You will never know the truth about life until you taste the beautiful aroma and flavours of Beef PAD BAI KRAPROW .

The food was excellent! Came here for lunch for the second time and I would definitely come back! The Pad Thai is my go-to meal; it was tasty and it was filling! The service was great too; my waitress was named Josie and she did a great job making me feel welcomed!

My friend that lives in Brandon has been raving about this place so finally met her for lunch here several weeks ago. (Thai Boat is located on the corner of West Brandon Blvd and Parsons Avenue -- directly across from Subway). It has been difficult for me to find a Thai restaurant that I really like, but have to say this is really authentic. The owner is from Thailand and believes in cooking recipes from scratch using only fresh ingredients. Started off with the Chicken Satay. It was moist and delicious -- we could really taste the coconut milk and spices. Be sure to ask for more peanut sauce for dipping -- it was super tasty. We split an order of the Pad Thai -- it is offered with chicken, beef, pork or shrimp for $2 extra. We opted for the chicken ... the noodles were perfect and all the ingredients were really fresh tasting. All meals can be prepared mild, medium, hot or Thai hot. Next time I will ask for it to be mild -- the hot was extremely warm. I cannot even fathom how spicy the Thai hot must be!! They have a Thai Boat bar (full size boat in the restaurant) where they serve noodle dishes. I had to ask more questions about it. The waitress explained that boat noodles are a beef based noodle soup that is generally served with pieces of beef and liver. It can be very spicy but they serve it in a lot of different variations. Next time we go I would like to experience the noodle bar just to try something different. So if you are in the Brandon area and craving some Thai food give this place a try -- I was pleasantly surprised.

Panang was "oily" and bland flavor even though i requested medium spicy. Pad thai also lacking in flavor. It tasted like a fast food restaurant. The first time I went there by myself I was ignored due to a large table that arrived after me. I was there over an hour and waited for my food for 20 minutes and waited for the check for 20 minutes. No water refills either. I should have gone to Thai Xpress instead .

Best pad Thai in the area! I'm seriously addicted. Huge portions! Haven't eaten inside, but the atmosphere is very peaceful and welcoming when I go to pick up my food. My order has always been right and I feel like this place is a little known gem in Brandon.

This was delicious , we went one afternoon after looking at houses in the area & I'm glad we r moving there & will be close to this yummy place. You can tell they put their heart into it. Try their chai tea too!

Yelp should have a new category or star level for restaurants like Thai Boat. This was some of the best Thai food I've ever eaten. To start, their Thai ice tea is excellent with just the right sweetness. It was a nice treat to have the cook/chef come to our table and take part of our order. All the food is made to order. I could hear the wok kicking out food in the background. My uncle ordered Tom Yun soup with chicken. He ordered it spicy and it came out perfect. We both ordered noodle dishes with shrimp and they were fantastic. My Pad Thai was the best I've had. Sadly, even better than mine. We were enjoying the food so much we ordered an extra dish even though we were full. The basil fried rice with pork was also excellent. I would say if you are within 30 or 40 miles, make the trip here. It doesn't look like much from the outside but they make great food at extremely reasonable prices.

Thanks to Yelp reviewers, I found this terrific restaurant when I was passing through the Brandon area. I came in at 3 pm on a weekday. The place was empty, so I chose a table by the window. The interior space is attractive and has some interesting features. The waitress was sociable, and we chatted about Thailand. She cut a lemon slice into a cute snail shape and perched it on the rim of my water glass. I ordered Panang curry chicken, which came with rice and steamed broccoli. The ingredients were fresh, the seasoning was perfect, and everything was delicious.

I ordered the basil fried rice. It wasn't the best Thai I've had but I enjoyed it. My dish could have had a bit more flavor though.

What? I haven't reviewed this place yet? Ok here goes. Best Thai in Brandon. I love it all but the Pad Thai is the best. The Red Curry is great too. The service is great and friendly. We eat here often.

Thai Boat Restaurant is some of the best Thai food I have had in a long time. The green curry is a subtle and amazing blend of flavors. The pad see ew is a must try. I would definitely recommend adding a little of the red chili sauce. The restaurant is exceptionally clean and lovely. Service is prompt and friendly. If I am ever in Brandon again, I will definitely return!

Having been to Thailand a few times, I can say that this is definitely one of the more authentic places in the area. Always great food, and the owner and staff are very pleasant and helpful. They even dry their own chilies and powder them for the condiments. Definitely worth a visit!

I came here for lunch on a tuesday. The place look very nice. The family that own this place put alot of money into it. Our server was very nice and polite. As for me being on a diet, I ordered papaya salad. But for the life of me. I couldnt eat it. It tasted weird. I cant pinpoint it. But it was disguesting. Im sorry but im not a fan.

You've heard the saying "don't judge a book by its cover". This certainly applies here. I would never have tried this without the recommendation of Yelp. Sketchy exterior and not in the best part of town but food is outstanding.

Amazing little restaurant, great atmosphere and the chefs serves a few items you normally never see in the states. Prices are just right $9 - $12 for most items. The chef really cares about presentation and puts extra effort into making your meal great. Service was better than at most Asian restaurants. This Immediately became one of my favorite places. Just for reference I was AD military for 24 years and have eaten Thai food all over the world a lot in Asia and Hawaii. So I may not be an expert but I have a pretty good idea of what good Thai is. I highly recommend it. but suggest you go with an open mind. It is more authentic and hasn't been dummied down for Americans like a lot of Asian restaurants do. Oh and last but not least. They actually serve Thai sticky rice. Do you know how hard it is to find a Thai restaurant that serves Thai sticky rice?

We stopped in to this little place because I found it here on yelp and it had great reviews. It was early on a weekday afternoon, and they had just opened, but we were the only customers, so I was a little concerned. That concern quickly went away. Our meals were delicious and the waitress was very friendly. I ordered the Pad Se Ew, which is my go-to Thai dish, and the fiancé ordered Pad Thai. Both tasted fresh and were full of flavor. I also had their thai iced tea, which was yummy. I liked the decor of the place too. We hope to be coming back soon.

Very attentive service. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Each dish was prepared with fresh ingredients and very tasty. Extra attention to details was placed on each dish-On the cups of water, there were lemons carved into the shape of cute little snails. Each plate was garnished with a carrot carved into an adorable butterfly. The restaurant was spotless and there was a unique boat in the middle where noodles were served. A unique dining experience, with yummy Thai food! Highly recommend!

Worst thai food in town, i saw previous reviews and thought i would give the place a try. I had the pad kaprow which was not thai at all. I will stick with the thai place im used to.

Very poor service, very bad food. Extremely salty and bland pad Thai, it tastes like soy sauce. Owners need to dine around the Tampa Bay area as well as tried and true Thai establishments and improve their operations to stay competitive. My food complaint was met with an "I know" and full bill.

Easily a five star gem. The quality of food and service is genuine and probably the best of its kind. This humbling little Thai spot is the best place to go for home made, traditional comfort food. My favorite is #19 and the Papaya salad. I will definitely be coming back regularly.

Great food and service! I had dinner here with my boyfriend on a Sunday, our server was very friendly and took time to explain many menu items and go over popular entrees. She even let us sample the plum wine because it is very sweet, good thing she did Bc we did not like it and had Chang beer and merlot instead. We started with rangoons and a soup with ground pork in it, both were tasty and delicious! My boyfriend had the roll noodle dish and I had basil chicken fried rice and everything was amazing! To finish off the meal we had mango with sticky rice and really enjoyed it! We can't wait to go back and try more menu items!

Very happy to find this place in Brandon, Florida. Used yelp and searched it out. If you like Thai I suggest you stop in here and try a couple different dishes. I don't think you'd be disappointed. Parking in front and then I think there is someone the back in the back also. The place isit kind of hidden but if you know the corner of Parsons and Highway 60 you can find it right by the laundromat across the street from the drugstore. We ordered a couple different dishes and I've posted pictures here. Of course the pad Thai. And it did not disappoint. Stop in and support this local place so it can stay around. We need more restaurants like this in Brandon

Very good local thai spot. Tom yum soup had just the right balance of cilantro lime and fish sauce. Spice tray is delivered to the table and you dress it up how you like. Try the crepe dessert. It's a great sweet ending. Definitely coming back.
