The food was delicious. I had a "chicken" salad sandwich and my husband had the veggie burger. The produce was really fresh and the prices were very reasonable. The only reason for four stars is that it would be nice to see a kids menu with some smaller portions and prices for kids. My kids eat healthy, but I didn't want to order a $9 sandwich for my 6 year old to take two bites out of :)

Guess what! This is a restaurant that serves food ... So I'll be the first to post some food pictures! Yummy!!! I drive by this place on the to work..., and been waiting and waiting for this place to open!!! An amazing place! Everything is so fresh snd everything is made fresh and in house. I had the raw piña-colada is made from almond milk (which they made), pineapple, coconut butter. It's different from most places I order one from but this one tasted so fresh so healthy! I am craving another! We got the barley shot l. We never had one before and didn't know what to expect .... Smelled like Hannah which is funny.. Overall it as interesting... I'll leave that to health nuts out there.... The raw taco with Napa shells was so fresh it's more like a salad really...beans... Corn... American cheeze(vegan) and almond crumbles as the "meat." I'll get it again for sure. The raspberry cheesecake is a must! I hope it is added to the menu! We also shared the almond butter cheesecake... It melts in your mouth. I can't wait to come back!!!

Dined here last week and just got around to writing the review. There were just 2 of us for lunch and we were greeted very happily by the waitress and then the owner. The place is a converted home and has nice decor. We started off with the navy bean soup which was tasy and delicious. We then had the walnut pate sandwich and tuna sandwich (made from chickpeas) on Ezekiel buns. We shared a half of each so we both got to try everything. They were both delicious. The waitress even brought us a sample of their onion bread which is raw. It also was delicious and made us regret not trying it on one of our sandwiches. The owner also gave us a sample of their chicken salad, another tasty item. We only suggested something might be needed to hold it together on a sandwich. She also said things are evolving and they are listening to suggestions and would make adjustments, if necessary. We will definitely be back and try some new things like the dinner items.

We waited months for Taste of Eden Bistro to open and it was well worth it! Every item we had was both delicious and well priced. The service friendly and prompt. We started with the artichoke dip with pita and chips. Lemony and fresh! And a shot of barley. It smelled and tasted like henna, but it did give us a boost. Shared the Alfredo pasta and raw tacos. Both were filling. I especially loved the ranch sauce on the tacos. I could pour it on everything! For dessert we the raspberry cheesecake and the cocoa cheesecake. Decadent! Our server was so nice and helpful. The owner also came by our table a couple of times. It felt great to feel that our business was appreciated and to how passionate they are about the bistro. Only thing I would change would be to add outside seating. It would be wonderful to have lunch outside on a nice day. I drove an hour to dine here and it was well worth it. Will be back for more!

Taste of Eden Bistro is twenty minutes away, so I made a special trip out of going there, excited to try a vegan spot. It was a cute house turned into a restaurant but the overall ambiance did not appeal to me. Sparse and stuffy, with a general awkwardness to the layout and service. I ordered a artichoke dip, WAY too lemony, they must've squeezed an entire fresh lemon on top of it and it was over the top. Couldn't really stomach it, but some people like that, I'm sure. The raw tacos were good, like people said, but they were just that walnutty fake meat and not enough beans, onion, thinly slice tomato, cheezy sauce....good flavor, though. The chickn Caesar wrap was OK, could've used diversity in its fillings or crispy chicken inside, something wasn't quite right. Fresh tasting, pretty OK food in an awkward setting sums it up.

This place is a good vegan/raw restaurant that meat eaters will also love. It's located in the back of a house, so could easily be missed if you're not on the look out. It's a casual dining spot, friendly service, good and healthy eats. I've tried the green smoothie, cold cucumber soup, and avocado sauerkraut sandwich which was surprisingly very tasty. I've also tried the Napa tacos, it was okay, I wouldn't order it again for the price. Overall it's a good, convenient and healrhy lunch option.

Just ate here and it was great! I haven't had cheesecake in years and the almond cacao cheesecake was amazing, as well as the fettuccine. The owner gave us a lot of info about healing nutrition as well. Awesome spot!!

We often are looking for good places to eat on Friday nights and were delighted to find Taste of Eden has opened its doors for dinner! I have eaten at Taste of Eden for lunch and was telling my husband, who is an open-minded, meat-eater, about it. We had the opportunity to come in last night and were not disappointed. For starters, he had a cup of Northern bean soup and said it was delicious. I really enjoyed Oodles of Noodles soup which is similar to a chicken noodle soup. His meal was the Eden burger with a side of broccoli cabbage slaw and he was impressed (I had to have a bite of the slaw and it was yummy). I ordered the Tacos in Napa Shell which I loved - fresh, healthy, tasty, and filling lettuce wrap-style entree. I rounded my dinner off with the mudslide mousse shooter, a perfectly-sized, creamy dessert. The prices were exceptionally reasonable for the amount of food we were served and our server was personable, helpful in answering questions about menu items, and attentive. A must-try for everyone, including folks who aren't vegetarian or vegan!

I was very excited for this restaurant to open. Going out and eating in Tampa as a vegetarian can be difficult and your options are always very limited. The restaurant is located in what looks to be a converted house. The inside decor is very down home and obviously self decorated but there's nothing wrong with it. It just looks "homemade" I went with a group of 3 of other people. 3 vegetarians and 1 omnivore. We ordered the zucchini dip and the artichoke dip and had a combo of dippers. These were both very good. I ordered the zucchini manicotti. My fiancé ordered navy bean soup and our friends had the Fetticini Alfredo and the Stir Fry. All of the dishes were delicious. Wonderful flavors. But we all noticed the small portion sizes. Maybe we're just spoiled by places like Olive Garden who give you lots of food. My friends noodle dishes were the size of a side of noodles anywhere else. My manicotti was shockingly small portioned. Now I've had vegan manicotti before. What I got was literally 4 thin slices of about 5 inch zucchini with a dab of marinara on each. Inside was a pine nut risotto. And then there was a bit of both marinara and the risotto pooled at the bottom. I ate them quickly and was still very hungry. Normally I wouldn't be upset at the small portion size, I'd just order more food. But this manicotti was $10.50. And coupled with the appetizers and my fiancés entree we easily spend $50 not including tip. For that amount of money, I expect to leave dinner sufficiently full. And we ended up going to publix and buying frozen pizzas. This is why I gave them a 3 star review. The items are not labeled as organic or fair trade, so I just didn't feel like I got my money's worth for that price. We could have had a very filling dinner elsewhere for 2 people for $50. We also didn't order dessert as the "shooter" options were $3 each and we imagined small, and the Dutch Apple and cheesecake were $6 each. I would possibly return for lunch and try something else but I would order knowing about the portion issues, but we definitely won't be back for dinner. The owners were there and were very nice. They could use a graphic designer and photographer to help refine their menu ( photograophybystephenie.… ) but I wish them the best. Being vegan is rough and I'm sure operating a vegan restaurant is tough too.

My husband and I ate at this restaurant for the first time tonight and it was awesome! The food was amazing and Sherry Orcutt, the owner, was very friendly. We had the Appetizer Sampler, Fettuccine Alfredo, Shepherd's Pie, and vegan Cheezecake. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, vegan or not. Here's a review from our blog: therantingvegans.com/201… .

Just awesome!!! Homey feel and sweetheart servers serving up healthy comfort food!! The Fettuccine Alfredo is AMAZING!!!! I've had it several times and it is fantastic!!! As a celiac, I often have a really hard time at vegan restaurants but this place took the health of everything and put it all together and it is delicious. The avocado tomato and basil salad is a great starter. Dijon salad dressing is also wonderful! Gluten free bread, gluten free noodles, raw food, smoothies. What more could you ask for!!! I'm in love.

I came here with my mom who is not vegan and VERY particular and we both loved this place. It's like being made a healthy lunch at the home of an affluent best friend. It wasn't just the food and ambience that we loved, we got to talking to the owners, husband and wife (I think their names were Mike and Sherry), and they were beautiful souls. Come in open to a good conversation. I'll be back soon.
