Love love love it when they have the mariachi band. Do great. . They played a beatles song at our table. Awesome Food is good, I stick to everything chicken. Rice & beans are delicious.

I got a taco salad. It was served in a soggy tortilla shell that had boiled chicken, lettuce, tomato, cheese. Plus sour cream and guac. The guac tasted like water. The whole thing was disgusting. I think even Chipotle might be better than the slop they serve here.

AVOID THIS PLACE like the plaque!!! Good was mediocre; service SUCKED! I saw my waitress twice then she dumped my food on my table and made a bee run to the back... Didn't see her again until it was time to pay! despite searching for napkins and ultimately finding some on a table next to me! When I asked to speak with the manager I was told he wasn't around. Th cashier stayed true to her, "I'm just a cashier" statement. The flautas were good except for the veggies they put in them. Last time I had flautas there were no tomatoes, bell rappers or onions in them. I get adding your own flair but flautas are great just being flautas. Recommendations: retrain your waitress and make sure theirs a boss/manager to take care of customer complains since the cashier has no authority... Or anyone in the place today for that matter. Will NEVER step foot here again!

Sabor has always been a favorite. Took out of town family here on a Saturday for lunch. The staff was apathetic and despite it being near empty our food took a while. We have always enjoyed their food, but it looks like they have changed something. Salsa was runny, fajita was rubbery and steak tough. Our waitress disappeared after we got our food and we actually had to call one of the three others who were standing around or looking at there phones to get our waitress and the check. Too sad, top bad. Their guacamole has always been runny, but I was willing to overlook that.

The food is reasonably priced and the menu also has an ala carte option as well. Chips and salsa are complimentary with the purchase of an entree. Great drink Specials too! My husband ordered steak and shrimp fajitas and I ordered an enchilada and hard shell taco. Everything tasted very good. The manager also stopped by our table to make sure we were happy. He was very nice and sincere. I will definitely return.

We enjoyed the atmosphere and service. My husband doesn't write reviews and he would give it a 4. He had the mixed grilled. It was served similar to fajitas but had sausage, shrimp, chicken and beef and grilled blancho. I will post the picture. It it more than enough for 2 adults! We will return. Wish I could give another 1/2 star.

Gotta admit,, I like this place a lot. First and foremost..alcohol. My margarita was amazing! I got it frozen, no salt and OMG, I couldn't believe how good it was. Limey sweet with a kick,, perfect! Hubby's Mexican beer from the tap was "ice cream headache" cold.. awesome! I really wanted to order the Ceviche. But even a place like Bonefish makes lousy Ceviche here so I was a bit nervous about it. Moving here from California where everything Mexican or Asian is "hella" good, I knew how I liked mine to be. I wanted fresh shrimp, plenty of cilantro, a little kick to it and ice cold ! Well I got 3 out of 4 of them. It wasn't ice cold, but a pleasant cool. And it was delicious! Then I ordered a combo plate with a beef taco and pork tamale with refried beans and rice. Another winner. The ground beef in my taco had an awesome flavor and although the masa was a bit too thick, so little pork in my tamale. But the flavor was great. Rice & beans were ...eh...filler. The restaurant itself seemed clean, wait staff very good and friendly. They offer outdoor seating as well as in. The only thing I didn't like was the Owner/Manager was quite bossy to the staff and he seemed a bit flustered but the little rush of customers at the time we arrived. He needs to chill...Hey, like the Ceviche !!!! Nice to find a Mexican restaurant where drinks and food was good. Give it a try. I sure will be back for a lunch of Ceviche & beer !!

I went here a few hours ago, and ordered a large Margerita, and the Chili Relleno. The Margerita was very well made, and full of alcohol, The Chili Relleno was awesome, and very large. The refried beans and rice were tasty, and the lettuce and Guacamole was freshly made. Service was fast and polite, and the cost was very low because we bought a get 30 dollars worth of food coupon for 15.00. Even w/o the coupon, prices are very reasonable.

Just wanted to make it known to someone who hopefully cares about what a terrible experience we had on Monday. We moved from the inside to outside because the restaurant smelled so strong of cleaning products. We ordered 2 margaritas and white queso dip to start.. the margaritas had a lime green powdered mix floating around the whole glass with a dried out.. old lime wedge which made them disgusting and not drinkable. The queso had obviously just been microwaved then brought to our table because nobody even stirred it because there was a thick film over the top and burnt cheese around the rim of the bowl. My husbands enchiladas tasted good but the rice and beans were old and reheated one too many times. My fajitas were horrible... barely any meat on the skillet and whatever meat was there was hard as a rock and not edible. Everything I asked for as my fajita toppings came out wrong and they we got charged additionally when the server fixed her mistake and brought me the right toppings. Server didn't care to ask why hardly any food was eaten and why our margaritas were not drank. We finally ordered a beer in hopes of enjoying the weather on the patio... frosty mugs and good beer... until there was black stuff floating around the bottom of my mug. My husband was sick the entire evening through the next morning and had to miss a few hours of work. HORRIBLE experience and nobody cared to make anything right ... as long as they got paid. Restaurant should not even be open for business.

I have always been a huge fan of saboras, been going since they opened. Never had a problem. The last couple times I've been The service and food both seemed cheaper and not the saboras I knew. I gave them, the benefit of the doubt, thought I'd caught them at a bad time... But went back yesterday for my last time. Ever. I got my normal chicken quesadilla, it was soggy and falling apart... Tasted like left over taco bell. After getting home and going to bed I woke up 6 hours later with the worst food poisoning I've ever experienced. I had no other food after eating there so there's only one option. I'm hugely disappointed.

Sabor a Mexico is a tasty place to stop in for a taco! I don't live in Brandon but had heard good things about this place. The chips came out warm and the salsa was flavorful, the right consistency for my taste and not spicy at all but still really yummy. I ordered the Tres Tacos with beef. It is usually served in hard corn taco shells but I asked for soft instead. I loved the freshness of the ingredients and spices used in the meat. Even without rice or beans it was more than plenty and filling. They have mariachi strolling around which I enjoyed throughly. It'd make a fun date night or dinner with the family!

The food was amazing! I think we found our new favorite Mexican restaurant. Had the combination with burrito, flauta, chicken quesadilla and enchiladas. Aldo had the cheese dip. Yum!

Nothing fancy about this establishment but the food is authentic Mexican and is prepared with care.

The service at this restaurant is horrible the waitstaff is more concerned about getting back to their back booth and talking to each other than waiting on you or getting you what you need. I've had multiple waitresses give me a disgusting look or be put off by the fact that I ask for another glass of water The food is mediocre at best very Americanized Mexican but the service just totally takes away from the whole experience I'd be surprised if this place is in business a year from now. The manager and or owner stand at the bar and get people dirty looks continuously I don't understand why they're in this business when they can't even conceptualize what customer service is.

I have been a long-time customer here. Birthday dinners are very enjoyable, since this is a family-oriented restaurant. I really like their top shelf margaritas :) My favorite dish would have to be the shrimp, beef, and chicken fajitas. Chicken burritos are so good too! Portions are generous, and service is always prompt.

I have been here several times for lunch/early dinner and it was always good, which is why two stars not less! Went last night, Valentine's Day, late dinner, about 8:00. The waitress' and cooks must have been celebrating Valentine's Day because they were NOT working! They were all standing around in the bar area eating!!! We ordered cheese dip and after waiting quite a while, had to wave at our waitress, she was eating and serving food to the other waitress' and kitchen workers and remind her! Our food was room temp at best, I ordered two items, she forgot one! Very bad service, food was not up to par and I can't say enough about the servers standing around and eating! It will be a long time before I go back, if ever!

Was very disappointing. Taco was soggy, burritos we cold. Beans very cold. Rice cold. Not sure if we will be back and I brought a group of 24 people.

Very good fajitas. The service from one waitress was great but another sucked and was rude. She even tried to charge us for dinner portion at noon when I asked why she said it was what I asked for, it wasn't. Then she said it was bigger. The next time I went I asked and were told they were same portions. Very good though and delicious cheese dip but pricey. I've been a few times since

Food is good, service is so so. But was extremely horrible is that they they turned my $5 tip (which was more than 20%) into and $8 tip once my credit card cleared. $3 dollars won't brake my bank, but I can imagine how man people they are scamming. It's credit card fraud and it shouldn't be tolerated.

. We have been going to this place since the day it opened and have always been satisfied with the food and service...Yesterday, I believe was the turning point. The service was ok at best but the disappointment was over the food. My gold margarita tasted like a cheap margarita mix the stuffed jalapeno peppers were cut in half..not whole like the used to be..and the cheese filling was not the usuall Queso Blanco that they used to use and have listed on the menu..it was a clumpy cheap orange-ish cheese and not even the dipping sauce killed the processed cheese taste. I got the Mexican Shrimp Cocktail..wanted to try something different ...it was so nasty! the Pico sauce was nothing but bottled ketchup! It was literally shrimp drowned in ketchup and a few chunks of avocado. I removed the little shrimp...not jumbo as listed..out of the glass to wipe off the ketchup. The hostest finally came back to my table and asked if everything was ok...I told her no...my Mexican Shrimp Coctail was terrible and tastes like straight ketchup. All she said was .oh yea sorry..it a a bit sweet..Really? It wasn't sweet ..it was a glass of ketchup not Pico cocktail sauce! She.never asked if she could get me something else..just walked away. My husband's food was just ok at best..we don't know what to think about this. experience? Are they trying to cut cost by cutting g the quality of the food? It definitely was a big disappointment. As we were leaving, a couple walked out..they were very upset! Said they waited for 25 minutes and no one ever came back to their table! The Hostess at the check out register just looked at them..shrugged her shoulders and said 'sorry" and looked away! The people were furious! We paid and left right behind them. Out in the parking lot I could still hear them venting their frustration..doubt they will be back anytime soon! We are not sure either if we want to go back..the quality of the food and the service has went way down..too bad we used to love this place and I'm so disappointed! Not the same anymore...no longer our favorite place for margaritas..nothing worse than paying for premium tequila and getting a cheap margaritas mix that was foamy...not clear like they used to be...what happened to this place?

Having been Jonesing for Mexican food for a few days we headed to Sabor A Mexico. We had been here once before awhile ago and liked it but we never came back. Here was our chance. Reading the reviews I was kinda nervous about whether or not it was either going to be Heaven or Hell. Well as like most things like this the truth lies somewhere in between. It certainly wasn't Hell but it wasn't quite Heaven either. The place was fairly crowded but there were empty tables. We were seated right away and chips and salsa came very quickly. Drinks next, wife's margarita was huge and very Limey....quite good. My beer, crack your teeth cold and hitting the sweet spot. I ordered the "enchilada's supremo", one beef, one chicken, one cheese and one bean enchilada. Wife ordered the ceviche appetizer and one tamale, one taco dinner. Food came out within an acceptable time. Ceviche first. This is right proper ceviche, fresh shrimp, good cilantro taste, good spice and heat. Very good. My dinner was very good. The star being the beef enchilada which has the best beef filling ever. Although ground beef it was seasoned perfectly and was delicious. Wife's meal was also very good but her star was the ceviche. So although this was neither heaven nor hell it was much closer to the angels. 4 star good!

I hate writing one star reviews. It doesn't happen often. I work in Brandon and I've tried pretty much every Mexican place in town without much luck. This was the last place on my list and it was flat out not good. The positives: The interior of the place was nice and looked clean. There were a few flat screens as well. The negatives: The staff was flat out rude. No smiles. No welcome. No goodbye. No thank you. Nothing. My server stopped by after I was done eating (and I did have a question for her). The food came out 3 minutes after I ordered which isn't a good sign. I ordered the taco, burrito, and chalupa lunch special. The taco was good, the burrito was soggy, and the chalupa....well, here's the question I had for the server. My chalupa was a flat hard shell tortilla, lettuce, and a couple tomatoes. Is that it? I've never seen such a plain chalupa before. The food was all luke warm, tasted microwaved, and the beef was probably the lowest quality you could get. Server dropped check off, not a word. I brought to the front. Not a word from the host. Nothing. It was uncomfortable how stuffy it was in there. It's too bad the food was just as terrible.

I have to admit the only night my husband and I come to Sabor is on Wednesdays - all you can eat for $8.95. You can't beat that - so I can't vouch for their food/prices/service aside from Wednesday nights. I really enjoy their beef quesadillas and chicken enchiladas. My husband loves their soft beef tacos. They have excellent salsa with fresh chips that are served as soon as you get seated. The wait staff is decent, but nothing fancy. We were regularly going weekly for a while and no one recognized us or was any more personable other than a 'how are you this evening?' For the price and food I'd only go on Wednesdays - with plates averaging $14 on the regular menu, I don't feel that the atmosphere, food, and staff are worth that much.

Well to start the service was good victor was our server and he was delightful. Very friendly very courteous and even chatted with the kids. however to get to the food the ceviche was not great at all very disappointing my enchiladas the chicken tastes more like tuna and the cheese one was pretty good however the beef enchilada was not very good at all. One of my boys ordered the Mexican burger said it was too hard to eat my other son had the tacos crunchy but they were actually soggy and he didn't care for them. So all in all it was not a good experience. I was really just too tired to cook so I wanted to try something close to home. Next time I'll make the drive!

I have been looking for a good Mexican place for over a year and I think I found it. I've been here for both lunch and dinner, and both times the service was prompt, the food was hot and very flavorful, and the margarita was strong. We will definitely be back!

Food ok. Service not so much. Waiting 15 min for drink order and waiting 30 min for no food... Asking for it to go because we are still waiting while the servers dance...unacceptable. I want to support local places, but this is BS. No more.

THE QUESO!! Mmmm!! I always order the chicken fajitas from here, or taco salad. Hubs always eats their quesadillas.

Went here for lunch today the food was good I got the enchiladas supreme which is one of each kind cheese, chicken, bean, and beef. Chicken was my least favorite of the enchiladas beef was the best, they have good salsa as well as queso. I would have given them 3.5 half stars instead of the four I gave them but either don't know how to or can't for the poor service that we received.

First time here...it started raining hard while driving around and settled on this place as nobody in our party had been here before...upon entering we learned the electricity was out due to the storm. They invited us in and we stayed for drinks and dinner. The staff was very friendly...The waitress was hardly around but the food was good. It would be a great place to come and drink Margaritas and relax. We will come back to this place again

Ice cold beer goes great with the chips and salsa which is placed on your table within sexonds of sitting down. Salsa has a food kick too. The customer service is great and the waitress always responded quickly ro every request.

My girlfriend and I frequent this excellent Mexican restaurant and are seldom left disappointed. There are plenty of options on the menu and the food is excellent. While waiting to order they bring fresh chips and salsa. The sweet tea is good. The margaritas are not anything to brag about unless you get top shelf Patron. Our most recent visit was on Tuesday evening and they had their "Taco Tuesday" special. Every night they have a special, however, this was my first Taco night and I was both satisfied and full upon leaving. The tacos are hard shelled, beef tacos, that are well seasoned and only $.99 each. The service is hit or miss, never terrible but seldom great. I have never left dissatisfied with the food or the bill. I would recommend this Mexican restaurant for authentic Mexican dining. Also, shredded beef is available upon request in any of the dishes at a minimal extra charge, the rice and beans are good, and the portions are large.

I have to say with so many negative reviews, I'm kind of surprised. We have been there several times and the food has been consistently good! We always get the queso and a la carte shrimp and cheese quesadillas and cheese enchiladas. They never have let us down. Yes, I agree sometimes the service could be better but overall I always leave satisfied.

We used to eat at this place pretty often. We were trying to go to taqueria Donna Maria. It's new but they close. We all wanted Mexican food that day do we decided to come here. It was quiet but yet we waited forever for our food. I guess the cook wasn't there yet. So we snack on chips and salsa. Once we got our food. I was disappointed. The plate were hot but our food was Luke warm. It's just not the same anymore. I will give it another try in the future.

Not sure where the rest of you have been eating, but we have been about 8 times in the last few months. Food is fresh and good! Nice warm chips with fresh great salsa arrives immediately! We try to go on Saturday to get the very reasonable lunch specials menu. More than enough food to fill up the biggest appetite, always fresh, flavorful and satisfying! Sangria to die for. Good job Sabor A Mexico, Good Job.

Ok so I was craving some Mexican last night and it was late to a drive to Bradenton fl to our fave spot so, started looking for restaurant in brandon fl hoping for the best since I've already tried a few and was not to happy. This place which I thought was new but it's been there for 6 years already (helllllooo where have I been) was cute, lights outside, small on the inside but hey I was starving. The booth seats were a little uncomfortable, they needed more cushion. Very friendly staff, chips and salsa yummy, then BAM!!!!! The QUESO was slamming to perfection, yessss we had 2 large bowls...we order fajitas and enchiladas and let me tell you everything was sooooo good...we finally have our Mexican spot closer to home. They did tell us the weekly specials and the one that caught my ear was something about a Mexican buffet they have wed. Nights....definitely a must try.

Giving this place three stars after tonight's experience is being as generous as Santa Claus. I am a regular here and my family and I love the food and the prices. We have only been here once and had a bad experience out of maybe 20+ times eating here. Our favorite male server left but for the most part the other servers were okay. We not only saw our server molesting and rubbing up on her boyfriend (another server) but she was too busy on her phone to make us drinks. They were out of made sweet and sour mix and instead of making up some new mix from the concentrate she came back and told us they were out. She obviously didn't care about her tip because we ordered the grande ones and that would have added a large amount to the bill. We know this because the family behind us ordered margaritas and their server after awhile in the back brought them out and said she had just made these for them. Now having been caught in her mistake she instead didn't come over and say oh looks like they found some mix or was mistaken, she continued sitting in a booth across the restaurant and played on her phone. There are other points I could make but would be boring seeing how my family and I have been in the restaurant business for 20+ years and my brother is a chef. This experience made me very sad as this was my favorite Mexican rest in brandon.

Chips were warm but stale. Pass. Chimichanga had chicken in it but the chicken was in cubes, and tasted like it was taken out of the refrigerator, nuked, and then added to the dish. Beans and rice were blah. Salsa was tasteless. Waitress was decent. No music inside (4pm on a Saturday). Place was nearly empty. Weird eating in total silence.

This is the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. If I could rate them 0 stars I would. The food was not good and the service was horrible. It took forever to be served and then when the food came, it didn't taste good. I went with my family and we all got different things so I was able to try several different menu items. NOTHING was good. All the food looked good, it looked fresh, it looked like it was going to be amazing, but it was prepared horribly. The place is staffed by Mexicans so its really weird that no one there has apparently ever cooked or even eaten Mexican food. Seriously I think it's some white guy in the back that has never cooked Mexican and then he hired a bunch of Mexicans to work out front. Do not waste your time or money.

  • Monty Z.

This place is just okay. The greeter was very unpleasant. Looked like she hated life and everyone who came in the door. It's crazy to me how places out here in Florida throw up corona signs and flags and say they're a Mexican restaurant. I played it safe ordering chilaquiles and boy was I wrong with saying safe it tasted like it was just chips with cheese. No enchilada sauce at all.

  • HJ C.

Second time at this mex place, I find each time that the food lacks in flavor, salsa had no salt or jalapeño /chile flavor , the refried beans bland, flour tortillas were Hal's way cooked, too undone on one side and lightly brown on the other and no salt.. The pork in chile verde , again no flavor , these folks need to rethink their food line and cook fresh, not a food line and stay away from microwaves, serving food in burn your hand hot plates does not mean having fresh made dishes served a la cart as mexican food should be done.

  • M W.

Food OK, but warm beer and bland salsa. We go here once a month because it's just around the corner. Spoke to owner through translator....suggested improvements to beer temperature and salsa quality. He acknowledged.... will update this review after next visit.

In the mood for Mexican, I decided to try this place. The reviews were not stellar but I figured I'd give it a shot. I arrived at 2:30 on a Monday, look around and only one car parked outside. Looks like the place is closed. I see two people coming out so I go inside...not a soul to be found. After two minutes a bored looking waitress asked me to sit wherever. Now to the food, I ordered a basic chicken enchilada. Two minutes later it arrived with rice and refried beans. Quite a lot of food. As I kept eating I kept thinking how mediocre the food was yet there was something familiar about the taste. I finally figured out that the cheese being used throughout was cheez wiz! (at least that what it tasted like) I don't see how this place will survive during these tough times. About the only positive I can say is you will get a lot of food for the money for slightly less flavor than Taco Bell.

This restaurant was the worse. Was made to feel like a criminal after our party tried to use two coupons. After being told one coupon we were made to choose between children eat free or a buy one get one coupon. You lost out on four paid entrees because of this. The server was very snarky and uninformed about specials. I can not recommend this place. I have been here two times before with rude service and subpar microwaved food. Three strikes your out.

Came to eat here with two friends for a happy hour evening. I was not impressed with the service (slow). My first drink I tried a margarita - it was pretty watered down, although it came in a HUGE glass. I stuck to beer after. My food was alright, but seemed to be missing spices. Nothing to write home about. Chips were fresh and salsa was good though. Not good enough for me to want to return though.

Love this place. Most of the staff recognizes me and knows my order since I'm there 1-3 times a week. I usually get soft beef tacos, and they often come out faster than fast food! The chips are usually warm (have had them sometimes when they're not) and the salsa is very good. I'm not a fan of chunky salsa, so theirs is perfect for me. My bill is usually about $5 for a stuffed soft beef taco, drink, chips, and salsa. In addition to the tacos, I really like the shrimp quesadillas and enchiladas (not sure it both are the menu, but they'll do them if you ask). The shrimp is nicely seasoned. The cheese they put on everything is really good too :)

We have gone there twice and ordered different items, the food was awful!! I have not had a good server that acted like they really wanted to help... the servers would hang out in the kitchen talking to other servers or on their cell phones, watching a workers kid that's running around, and hanging out talking at the serving station. I don't like having to wait 10 minutes for a bill to only take it to the register for another lady who is preoccupied with the same kid running around and being rude as well.... never did I get a thanks for coming or how was your meal. I will not be returning even if it were free. Very disappointing.

I love this place!!! We have been here 20 times at least. The salsa is right in the sweet spot. Not to ho for my wife and kids but enough punch for me. Drinks are big, the servings size are the same. My favorite is the burrito diablo and it's made with roasted beef... Omg it,s so good. They have a very cute ritual for birthdays with the sombrero and fried ice cream. They treat us like family. Love it!!!

We will stick with our other favorite Mexican Restaurant. for a Saturday night, this place wasn't busy at all. They do have music/karaoke in the front that is kind of loud if your not into that. Luckily we sat on the side, music volume was low enough to hear each other talk. Menu prices are good, our bill for 2 was less than $20. The service was good, once we ordered, food was out in 5 minutes. but the food was just average, nothing wowed us about the flavors.

Oh dear. Oh my. For those of you that don't like Mexican food I would not recommend you coming here ~ go to TJ Flats of some other place that uses liquid yellow "cheese sauce" out of a #10 can on their nachos. If you think Mexican food is supposed to taste like Old El Paso in a can, please don't be rating this place. This is the best MEXICAN food you will find in Brandon, and some of the best in Hillsborough county. On top of that, it is some of the largest portions for the best price you will find in the county. I've not experiened any thing bad here, and I have eaten here many, many times. Great food.

Been here twice, food is simple, but cheap, fast and tastes good. Appears to be a family owned place ( I don't know for a fact, just a guess ), which is always a plus in my book. I like supporting family business instead of corporate chains.

I think people who have posted have not been to Sabor in a very long time. Times appear to have changed. Mexican is an interpretation. The influence is definitely what "Americans" expect to be Mexican. Chips, Queso, salsa and the environment are pretty much what you would expect. The difference is the fact their food is made from scratch to order and is quite good. Every time I drive by, the parking lot is full. Eating here tonight, the place is full. The wait staff is trying their best to keep up. It is a bit slow but that is ok. The food is worth the wait. Even the owner is into the dinner service doing what he can to expedite, serving chips, salsa, meals and what ever it takes. Oh by the way, they do have a liquor license and a small outdoor area.

My husband & I love this place. The portions are very large for a low price. Our trick is to go at lunch time (before 3 pm) because they serve the same exact portions as dinner just at a lower price. They have an awesome cheese dip and we love their quesidillas & tacos. Wonderful rice & refried beans on the side too. We're adventuring our way through the menu still; but everything so far has been made from scratch and awesome. Amazingly fast service too.

A pretty good place to eat lunch. Very cheap meal thats also quite filling. Only issue I've have involves the nachos being extremely salty. Even with the various dips, the salt can be over powering. The chicken quesadillas are absolutely fabulous. Also this place has excellent service and is great when your starving as the food comes out in less than a couple of minutes after ordering.

If you like food that's cheap and served quickly, this is a good place. But don't expect it to be much better than a fast-food restaurant. And if you like nachos, be aware that the nachos here are smothered in a thick layer of Jack cheese. All other Mexican restaurants I've been to use either Cheddar or a mix of Cheddar and Jack, so I didn't care for this all-Jack version (neither did my wife).

I just took my daughter here because she wanted Nachos for dinner and like B.K. said they make it with Jack Cheese which she took one look at and said no thanks, so I just left it there. My waiter was awful, I watched as other waiters tended to their tables but mine did not come one time to check on us to ask how was the food or if I wanted another drink. I finished my drink long before I finished my meal so I had to drink some of my daughter's drink to wash my meal down. This is my last time going there, I'll try Tres Amigos next time.

The food here is very good! The prices are quite reasonable. You can go as a couple, bring a family or a group of friends and they will accomodate you easily! Service is quick and efficient. The interior is a very rustic, cantina style. Thursday nights they have a Mariachi band that is a lot of fun!! While the frozen strawberry margaritas leave a little bit to be desired, I still order them!!! I love the chicken chimichanga!!! The chips and slasa are good too.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
