Pleasant birthday email, BOGO we ordered two burritos and paid for one! Prefer Qdoba over Chipotle .. Good service and free refills on fountain drinks.

By far better then Chipotles and Moe's. Best quick Mexican style food in brandon. My family loves this style of Mexican food and I on the other hand could get by on eating it once a month as I like more traditional style Mexican. Boy was I surprised by Qdoba. Very fresh and fast service. Also very nice of the lady's behind the counter to let people try different sauces and quesos before you order.

In my opinion this place is better than chipotle, the food is made in small batches so it's always fresh and it's an open kitchen see you can see exactly what they're doing.

Less pretentious than Chipotle, wayyyy better than Moe's, Qdoba has a soft spot in my heart. The burritos are always tasty, and their queso options have expanded significantly recently, adding the awesome hot Queso Diablo to the mix. They're rarely busy, generally friendly, and their point card system gets you free burritos. This particular one does "kids eat free" on Sundays, so it's a great lunch spot for the little one. And they have habenero hot sauce, so bonus points for that.

So overall it was a good experience today for our lunch. We decided to stop by because they have the kid's eat free on Sunday's. I got a chicken burrito bowl and my husband got a steak burrito kids got quesadillas. The food was good and they don't charge for guac on your food so I like. The reason I took the 2 stars is service and price. Although they don't charge for guac you pay more that at Tijuana flats. Also the girl who made my food and the lady who ring us up really rushed us through which makes for fast service but It felt really unnecessary and impersonal. I was really not happy with the service because of how rushed it was.

My memories of Qdoba were a bit misleading. I went to college in Midland, MI and this was the only burrito game in town. For that reason, I ate a ton of it and remember it being a bit better than it actually is. I think I went a year and a half without having Qdoba but decided to drop in for dinner one day after work. Free chips and salsa with a Yelp check-in as well - love it! Went with the steak queso burrito that I am so fond of. The steak and other ingredients are all very average but if Qdoba does one thing right, it's their queso. So delicious. Love their chips as well - just the right amount of salt and pepper and always warm. Moe's is clearly on the lower rung of the burrito totem pole and Chipotle is up top - leaving Qdoba squarely in the middle. That being said, if Chipotle ever starts serving queso they may very well run Qdoba out of business.

I love their Mexican gumbo! The flavor if the soup is just fantastic, one of the best tortilla soups I've had! Their queso verde is off the chart too, but unfortunately it's limited time only. For fast Mexican food, I really do like this place and frequent it!

I had a real MEH experience and ultimately chose not to eat here. I parked (lot is filthy), went in. They have a weird cattle trough entry at the front of the building which is inconvenient to the main parking lot on the side. Rather than walk a mile, everyone squeezes in behind the current customer to shorten the walk. No one greets you, even with a smile. You walk along a window (like Chipotle or other Mexican spots) and they load what you want. I was looking for a more diverse menu or a more conventional menu. (I don't want a million things piled in one bowl, a simple chile relleno or burrito would be plenty. Everything looked "gushy" and not real fresh. The servers gloves were covered with food yuck (like corn relish) and nobody seemed thrilled to be doing their job. Prices seemed steep at about $8 for everything. I waited just long enough for my turn to decide I wasn't THAT hungry. I'd have been happy with a Taco Bell bean burrito I guess.......

Eh. Only went because we were in the mood for Mexican. This place is a definite mexiCANT. Parking lot was dead, should have taken the hint and went to chipotle. I got the chicken tacos and the meat was cold, and because I got pico de gallo on my taco it pretty much became chicken nachos when I bit into it. Everything fell apart. Only great part was the free chips and salsa when you check In.

I really enjoy the convenience and quality of food at Qdoba. It's quick food, but the veggies and meat are freshly made. I LOVE that there are whole wheat options now too! Moe's is good...Chipotle (to me) is overrated. Qdoba's staff is friendly and their text mex options are all tasty. Try the mango taco salad or a whole wheat burrito!

Bleh. Qdoba is dry and bland! Go to Chipotle. Or even Moe's. Tijuana Flats! Seriously.

Ugh. ...ugh, ugh, ugh. We used to Qdoba in Michigan. That was before Florida. Before Moe's. Before Tijuana Flats. Hell, that was before Tres Amigos, even!! It's overpriced. Poor service. Mediocre product. Take it from me. Go to any of the businesses listed above (or pretty much anywhere else). You'll pay less. You'll eat better. You'll die happier. Really, it's a win-win all around.

One of the better Qdobas I have been to. The staff was friendly and the kitchen/restaurant was clean. My burrito was made competently and did not fall apart when I ate it. Overall I am glad I did not heed the advice of the original, lacking "ugh" review.

Great food & service every time I go. It is pretty pricey for a burrito joint , but the food is worth it.

I had seen Qdobas all over the place so I ended up there for lunch one afternoon with the family. And it was okay. I got the vegetarian burrito (whole wheat tortilla, lime cilantro rice, guacamole, pinto beans, salsa roja). It was good but nothing that left me super impressed. I typically like my burritos to have more fresh vegetables on them and they only really had grilled veggies or fajita veggies available. Meh. I also think its competitor has better prices (and range of prices), free chips, and more of a selection. However, I appreciated that it was a quick place to grab a bit to eat and I left very full. So if you like simple, quick burritos and are willing to spend $6-8 for one, you might just enjoy Qdoba.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
