One of my two favorite Thai places in Brandon. I love the Mussaman and Panang. And the Thai Salad is almost a meal by itself. The staff is incredibly friendly and service has always been really really good.

I only ever go to this place on special occasions with co-workers - when I'm not hungry. I've been here 4 times and have only eaten here once. The other three occasions my order was either lost or forgotten about. Once I'd even had to hike it next door to Sub-Way and bring it back to eat with everyone else. The one time that I'd actually gotten my order? Meh, kinda wish they lost that one too.

Possibly my new favorite Thai place in town.

What a suprise. I was pleasantly suprised by the quality of Jasmine Thai. Hidden away in a drab shopping plaza you would guess it was a shithole. The staff was quick and polite and the dining area was very clean and quiet. I had the green curry grouper and it will be a challenge not to order it again the next time i visit. I will definately be back.

A++ for food quality, selection, ambiance, service, and price. This is the best Thai on the Gulf Coast.

The first thing we noticed was the dirty carpets. I was expecting a nice interior from the other reviews (not sure if Essie reviewed the right restaurant - what table decorations), but it was not impressive at all and the wall decorations very bland. It was early and we were the firsts guests, yet they had to seat the next couple of guests at the 2 tables right next to us. Food was nothing special. We will not go back.

They gave us an extra roll along with our Coconut soup (a.k.a. Tom Yum). The sweet and sour and curry dishes were awesome. Service was prompt and efficient. Decor is very good as well. The only odd thing we noticed was that it was very easy to hear people in the booths near us. Perhaps it was a side effect of very few people since we stopped in pretty late for a normal lunch time. If you haven't had much Thai, do yourself a favor and go to Jasmine Thai!

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! I have a dream that curry paste and coconut milk can combine harmoniously to create an unforgettable taste... I have a dream that rich and creamy crab rangoon are fried to perfection and melt in your mouth like cotton candy... I have a dream that I am treated like a human being when dining at a restaurant... I had that dream... I had that dream until the moment when the bitter thought of Jasmine Thai crossed my mind... and then I woke up... It was just a dream! Red curry with beef: The sauce was too thick and artificial. It was grainy and not fresh. The bell peppers were not cooked through all the way. There is al dente and then there is al dental visit. Lidocaine anyone? The beef was tough and old like a southern grandma who forced you off of her property by threatening to blow your head off with a side by side shotgun. Crab rangoon: Have you ever had stale tortilla chips? Multiply that experience by 10 and the product is the exterior of Jasmine Thai's crab rangoon. As if that's not bad enough, you are dishing our $6.95 for 5 of those little buggers. They must be out of their minds! Thai iced tea: Not bad... At least I had something decent to wash down all that garbage and mask the atrocious flavor of both of the aforementioned dishes. Service: You know how clowns have a permanent smile. Now imagine the opposite of that and you would have just imagined the wait staff at Jasmine Thai. Nothing more needs to be said but i'm so mad i'm saying it anyway... It was a complete and utter disappointment, and a perfect example of how not to treat customers. No smile, no emotion, but plenty of not giving a damn. HORRIBLE! RUDE! EXCRUCIATING! INEXCUSABLE! Aftermath: 10 minutes into my curry dish... NAUSEA! HEADACHE! STOMACH PAIN! It felt as though cement trucks and steamrollers were operating inside of my stomach. I am writing this review 5 hours after my meal and my stomach still hurts, except the pain has now traveled to my small intestine. I'm just one guy who had one meal at Jasmine Thai. Try it if you'd like, but at your own risk. As for me, i'm through with that place! Happy Dining!

This place has some good Pad Thai but the servers could use some more serving lessons. The first time we went, I had ordered my Pad Thai WITHOUT peanuts and it came with peanuts. Lucky for them, I wasn't allergic but our server came over and was very sorry and replaced it with another one -- not for free, sadly. The beef was spoiled and it was a very bad first experience but we gave it another shot last night and it wasn't too bad. My husband thinks that their Pad Thai smells like a farm but I don't really smell it and it was good enough for me. This is a once every six months kind of place.

Ordered TOGO! I ordered TOGO for lunch one afternoon. I was greeted and my order was taken promptly. The food came out very fast and was extremely hot! I ordered the Pad Thai Chicken. It was a good Pad Thai but not the best I have had. It was a little dry and not as flavorful as I am used to. Still was a good Pad Thai!

I have visited Jasmine Thai on two occasions, ordering Beef thai fried rice, Red curry with Beef, and Hot pepper basil chicken. This saga is about the BEEF thai fried rice and BEEF red curry experience. The journey to Jasmine Thai began on a sunny Tampa afternoon where clouds cease to exist. A thai restaurant next to an Aldis had caught my Wife and I's eyes, and we were destined to test the cuisine. We entered the restaurant and laid our eyes upon a beautiful interior set-up and a table that tells about the Tale of Thailand. All was well and calm as the waitress came to take our order. The waitress was a nice and pleasant person who wrote down our order of beef thai fried rice and beef red curry. The world around us was beautiful and calm, but it did not prepare us for what we would encounter next! Our food arrived in a timely fashion. The colors and aroma of the food appealed greatly to our senses. We could not wait to taste the food and then.... We took our first bite of the beef from the beef fried rice... Then we took a bite of the beef from the curry... I realized that we lost the battle for middle-earth. We gagged from tasting the beef both times and realized the truth about Jasmine Thai's beef. It was spoiled beef. In fact, it was so spoiled, it seemed to have thoughts and a life of its own as it stared into our souls. The world around us changed with the onset of the spoiled beef taste. It was as if the beautiful atmosphere turned into a field suffering from the barrage of Lighting arrows and Firewalls. Our HP drained to 0, and so we paid and left without making the issue known. We already knew that they know about the beef; spoiled beef is not hard to detect and we were utterly defeated and left quietly. The second time around, we ordered chicken and it was ok, but we will never forget the beef.

Very good dinner.. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a quiet atmosphere. The food was delicious, I loved the Crab Ragoon. The pad thai and fried rice were also very good.

Combination (all meats) spicy noodles. This is the most amazing Thai Restaurant you will find in the area. From the Thai Basil Grouper entree, Curry dishes, Noodle dishes, etc. Everything we have tried has been simply amazing. The staff (Bebe) is the amazing server you will ever encounter. Very attentive, kind, and just sweet person. This place is a must try. You will be sad if you miss out.

Great place for curry dishes, they customize the spice to your liking. Staff is always friendly and atmosphere is calming. All in all, a great little Thai restaurant.

This is probably the best Thai I've ever had. The cost, the portion size, the flavor, the décor, the friendly staff.... Everything comes together to make an awesome dining experience. I especially loved the Pad Thai.... I tried it with shrimp and with chicken and they both were amazing. I also tried the fried rice and it was pretty good too. There isn't much more to say about this place other than I loved it and I can't wait to dine her again.

Delicious spicy rice and thanks to reviews on green curry...it was absolutely great. The oil in eggplant tempura might put off some weight watchers but I must say you will miss on a great dish. Friendly staff and great ambience definitely makes this one the best restaurants around here.

We were in route home from Orlando to Venice and had a craving for Thai, most of the other places were closed on Sunday so I was happy to find this place. Nice decorations, very clean, love that the wait staff wear Thai clothing. The tables are so neat as they are carved wood art. It is a very calming space. Husband got the chicken pad Thai which was very reasonably priced at $9.95 and he has enough for a second meal. Spice range is 1-5 and he ordered at a 3 which was pretty spot on to medium spice. I ordered the yellow curry chicken it was very good. The sauce was thicker than I'm used to but great flavor. The dishes were nicely presented with carrot origami. Overall I would come back.

Food is good but really small portions and with that being said, the price is really high compared to other Thai places here in Brandon.

My goodness, if I could give the Jasmine Thai in Brandon more than 5 stars, I would. They are the best Thai restaurant I have ever been to, including the other Jasmine Thai locations. The decor here is grand! You feel transported and the uniform the staff wears is beautiful and adds to the elegance. The food is always delicious and fresh. You can make any dish as spicy or as mild as you wish. My favorite appetizers are the steamed dumplings and the chicken satay. My favorite dish is the clear noodles with whatever meat you choose! Its super yummy and really low in calories! I seriously eat it almost every day! Do yourself a favor and try everything on the menu!

This place deserves even more stars. I've been going here for years and whenever I bring a friend along, they instantly become hooked as well. The chicken pad thai is the best of the best, the staff is wonderful, and the cokes are fresh enough to make your eyes water. My other favorite thai restaurant is in the heart of Hollywood, so when I'm in Florida, Jasmine Thai in Brandon is my go-to. When I'm in California, I go to Toi Thai on Sunset, but I'm still thinking about Jasmine Thai. :-)

I came by this place with my husband one day because i wanted to try different food. There was one waitress. I couldn't believe how rude she was. Her voice tone and how she treated other customers was exceptionally rude. It makes me NEVER want to come back again. The waitress never smiled but made an angry face all along. The waitress should NEVER serve anyone like that. Come by this restaurant if you are down to enjoy rudeness and a horrible place.

I like the environment...and I think that's where it ends. Oh-I lied, the Thai tea is good here. I was disappointed in the beef soup-not amazing. The pad thai was nothing to brag about either. Not a bad place, by no means, but not the best either.

  • Jennifer M.

I have tried several Thai restaurants in the area and Jasmine Thai is by far the best. I enjoy eating the Pad Thai, vegetable soup and spring rolls (pretty much my staple order at all Thai restaurants). The dining-in experience was positive. The restaurant has nice decor, friendly staff and decent wait time. The take-out service is very adequate. I have never experienced any mix-ups with my order and the food quality is the same as if I dined in. I highly recommend this restaurant to others.

I have frequented this location many times with co-workers, and have always enjoyed what I ordered. The service is good and food is usually served fairy quickly. The times I have been have usually been with a party of 7 or more, so there have been a few times where the wait was a little bit longer than desired, and checking out this many individual checks can be agonizing...but still it was worth it. I have never had their sushi, but I have had, and enjoyed, the Red Curry, Green Curry, Pineapple Curry, Spicy Noodles, Fried Rice, and the Spring Rolls.

This is my local Thai place and I think they do a great job. Favour is authentic and if you like spice then ask them to bump it up to "Thai spicy". I usually do take out but the decor inside looks really well done

We were greeted by very friendly waitresses in authentic dress and sat at a table with intricately carved scenes of Thailand beneath the glass. Service was efficient, helpful, and citrus, and the food was the best Thai food we have had in Florida. My wife ordered the pineapple chicken curry. Jasmine added a hint of peanut sauce that gave it an excellent flavor. I had the beef basil, which was not too spicy at there starts but very flavorful. The Thai iced tea was very creamy. The prices were very reasonable. Highly recommended.

I must say I was highly disappointed with their Chicken Pad Thai! That is my favorite Thai dish. For those that love it from this place obviously HAVE NOT tried Thai Boat in Brandon. The ONLY reason I even decided to try Jasmine Thai was because Thai Boat is closed on Sunday.

omg! I found this amazing restaurant on google when I was craving Thai food! Boyyy do I love google! My favorite restaurant! It's perfect! I usually always get the green or yellow curry with salmon or tofu or both. So delicious. The best coconut soup is made here! I haven't ordered a dish here that I would rate less than 5 stars. Only downside is that I've gained 10 pounds because I just can't stay away!

This is quite an interesting place. The tables and decorations are very unique but cool to look at. The service was very good, and the prices are very reasonable. The food itself was good too, although I wasn't too fond of my chicken pad thai, but the other entrees ordered were quite good. The coconut soup was delicious, as was the tom yum soup. I would go back here.

My favorite place! Thai tea, pineapple curry, spicy noodles and the fried banana dessert are amazing! I'm sure its all amazing but those are my favorites! I always have a great experience dining in or taking out and my order for take out is always perfect! I love jasmine thai!

  • Liz D.

We loved Jasmine Thai. The waitresses were friendly and very efficient. They looked lovely in their Thai dresses. The restaurant is immaculate and beautifully decorated. Everything we ordered was delicious. The steamed dumplings were very tasty. The Tom Yum soup was also very good. I noticed on the bill it said 'mild', so next time I will ask for hotter. Same for the Shrimp in Green Curry Sauce. And the fried banana 'coins' over coconut ice cream was a yummy dessert! Definitely will go back.

Wonderful! Looks can be deceiving from the outside, but this place is beautiful inside. The food was delicious. We started with some of the best spribg thai rolls I've had, and then had a pumpkin curry chicken entrée and a green chicken curry entrée. Both were fabulous. I would highly recommend the pumpkin curry. The green curry tasted exactly like the thai curry cashews at trader joes. We will definitely visit again!

Normally they closed for two hours, during the middle of the day on Sunday but today they had so many customers they stayed open. From the minute you walk in here, your mouth drops opened. Not only by the wonderful scent of different spices and herbs. But, the aroma of coconut milk and Curry is in the air. Very subtle though not overpowering, you feel such peace and serenity in this beautiful environment. What you may envision a someone's beautiful home,in Thailand. The pics speak for themselves. They are well worth looking at. That's only the beginning the atmosphere, the food is unbelievably good. Actually I do not want to underestimate my opinion and observation, the FOOD IS AWESOME, OUTSTANDING! I have sampled quite a bit of tight food. Had some good, very good an aaah... The typical run-of-the-mill stuff. Having lunch hour our server was wearing the traditional garment that the Thai women wear, she truly looked like a princess. She smiled, brought me Thai hot tea that I ordered, and it was served the traditional way with the small teapot and the customary small cup. Actually there is a very good reason for the small teapot, and the small cup. It's obvious, keeps the tea fresh and hot much longer then what most restaurants are doing now giving you a mug. I ordered the pending chicken, my husband had another curry dish. We were in a bit of a rush, and unfortunately I did not get to really review all the selections on the menu. I wish I would've had more time, so definitely I will go back. I noticed on one of the peaks that they have yellow curry tofu and it looks really, really good. By the way, IF IT INTERESTS YOU THEY HAVE A FULL BAR. WITH BEERS FROM THAILAND. For those That Enjoy Exploring Beers from other FAR AWAY LANDS. Of course they do have a good selection of Saki. Much to our surprise we were still able to order from their lunch menu. And the total cost of our meal was incredibly reasonable. A bonus, was that I took a box home. And had a wonderful tree the next day. CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK AND ENJOY, A GREAT MEAL WITH A + SERVICE. Thank you YELP!

Jasmine Thai is one of the few restaurants in Brandon that never disappoints. The food is always served quickly and it is always very tasty. You can't go wrong starting with Thai Egg Rolls. Their curry dishes are awesome and their Chili Snapper is delicious. The place is always clean and the staff is very attentive. You can't go wrong with this place.

Amazing food. I had the vegetable panang curry, vegetable potstickers and Thai tea. Great flavor in everything. So upset I didn't save any for lunch the next day. Very good customer service and everyone was very hospitable. The wait for our main entrees was a little long but with good company it was hardly noticeable. Saw quite a few customers come in to get takeout orders. This would be an amazing stretchy pants Netflix marathoning food choice. Also very clean restrooms as a side note.

We have been enjoying Jasmine Thai for years. Hands down the best thai food in the Brandon area. Their curries and noodle dishes are excellent just with veggies. Super vegetarian/vegan friendly! Lunch specials make for a filling lunch at a great price. Try their veggie steamed dumplings which are hard to find many other places! They do close in between lunch and dinner- so try to miss that window!

Anytime we're looking for Thai food in our local area we always come to this restaurant! I've been coming here for years and I'm never disappointed as we always get the same great service and same great food consistently! Food: For those that are familiar with Thai food many of the dishes come with rice or noodles and some sort of spicy curry or broth sauce. Jasmine Thai takes the time to adjust to spiciness and you can even get it mild for those that don't like anything spicy. My favorite dishes would be the pad Thai, Which is what hubby gets every single time with chicken. My other favorite is the pad sei eu. This this is very similar to the pad Thai but it comes with a brown sauce broccoli and wider rice noodles. I really enjoy the food here because going gluten-free if you're doing only rice items you can eat rice noodles or rice itself. Service: The service is always wonderful when we come here! The waitstaff is familiar with our faces and even when we come get food to go they know who we are. The food is brought out very quickly and the staff is extra pleasant! For those in the Brandon area I suggest going to Jasmine Thai if you're looking for authentic atmosphere for Thai food and awesome food to boot!

Superb is the best way to describe this restaurant and the waitstaff. The decor is beautiful (wood carvings), food (yummy, plentiful and fresh), waitstaff (attentive and pleasant), waitstaff's attire (appropriate and in sync with the decor), service (the waitstaff and greeter ensure that we didn't want for anything - drinks replenished, water without asking, etc.) and price (a lot of food for the price). Note -- the restaurant uses a chain on the doors when it's closed, so don't think they are out of business. The first time we went by it was during their 'unopened' times and we thought they were out of business. Today we visited during their business hours as noted on Yelp and the chain was not there and the "open" light was on. :)

This is one of the most elaborately decorated thai restaurants I've been in. It's obvious that they are trying REALLY hard with all the details. It's very clean inside as well. It was quite empty when we were there so it's hard to speak about the ambiance. The service was very efficient. A touch cold, but nice people. The food was good...not exceptional but good! I will definitely go back, hopefully when it's a little more crowded, but it's a big space and probably hard to fill.

This place is so amazing! They have a great ambience and the food is absolutely delicious. The costumer service was also very good. The place is also very clean and welcoming. I am a big foodie and I am always in the look out for vegetarian friendly and Healthy food. I felt very satisfied with the food.i highly recommend it to others

Jasmine is in my top picks for Thai in Brandon/Riverview. I almost feel like this is a hidden gem made just for me since it's always mostly empty everytime I visit. The green and yellow curry is always delish and full of veggies. Plenty of different options for vegans & meat eaters alike! Tom yum soup is a great starter. Crab rangoon are okay, nothing spectacular, but still tasty. The pad se-yew is perfect with a bit of kick. If you like to sweat while you eat, just ask for it to be medium or hot. Extra sweaty= ask for thai hot. A sweet thai tea will put the fire out. Love that the servers wear traditional Thai apparel and are always so nice. Portions are enough for leftovers and are served family style. Great date place. Quiet and nice lighting and ambiance. If you run out of things to talk about, don't worry-the tables are full of traditional carvings in wood with glass laid over. Plenty to look at and keep your eyes and mind busy and off your bomb of a dinner date.

We came here for lunch on a Sunday to find that they close for a few hours between lunch and dinner. So be sure to check their hours of operation if you're coming on a Sunday. The interior is really clean and traditional. Very pretty. The servers are kind and sweet. The food is fine. Lots of traditional fare that extends beyond the normal pad thai and curry. None of it was memorable though. Prices were all about $10-$15 each plate for small to mid-small portions. Like I said, the ambiance is nice and the service is sweet, but it was pretty average for me.

The inside of the restaurant is beautiful with elaborate wood carvings on the walls. The tables themselves are a work of art. I had checked their menu out on line before going and I wad disappointed that they no longer serve sushi. They had some good offerings. I was actually looking forward to their "Mos Def" roll. At anyrate, the waitresses wore elaborate uniforms which I loved but they seemed a little over the top. They were the sort of costumes you would expect to see at a dinner theatre. Nontheless, the restaurant offered friendly and prompt service. The food was delicious. I had the vegetable pot stickers and chicken pad thai.

Yum yum yum ! This place is delish ! The decor and ambiance is so high classy you forget you are in the middle of Brandon. The staff presence is impeccable, and the tables! Oh my a piece of art ! Now to the food: delicious! I had the Chicken Masaman Curry and I loved it ! Really creamy and perfect portion. The Thai Tea was also really good. For a non-native of the country I loved it :) I will definitely come back - I love the fact that is so close to home - not that that will affect anyone's view of the place lol ;)

I came here because of the great food reviews. I loved the wood carvings in the tables, that was really cool to look at. I ordered the Pad Se-Ew and it was good. Not the best I've had, but still delicious. They used regular broccoli instead of chinese broccoli or bok choy. Would definitely go back, but not at the top of my list again.

Outstanding. Very good meal. Excellent service. Very impressed. The red curry vegetable is excellent. Also the eggplant tempura is very tasty. The setting and decorations are incredible.

Do not order the coconut soup! It's a very sweet watery version of what it should really taste like. It was so bad that I sent it back and ordered the eggplant tempura appetizer. The eggplant was better but nothing special. I only ate a small portion and told them to take the rest away. I ordered the Hot Basil Shrimp as my entree and it was OK but not spicy at all. The shrimp seemed like they were previously frozen and not as fresh as I expected. I was a little disappointed with this entree but it was edible. I felt as if the service was super slow. I waited longer than I usually wait in a Thai restaurant to receive my food. When I finally received it, I was disappointed it wasn't all that great. There was no good reason for the long wait as the restaurant was not crowded. Waited a long time pay my bill too. The wood carvings on the tables and chairs are unique but I wasn't too impressed with them. I would have preferred better food over the carved wood furniture. I don't plan to ever return and will have to continue my search for a very good Thai restaurant in the Tampa/Brandon area.

I have been trying a few Thai restaurants lately and this was definitely one of my least favorite. They didn't even ask or put ANY spicy flavor on my 3 dishes I ordered. This was the first Thai restaurant that didn't ask to put any spicy flavor and just left it bland. I even tried the pineapple fried rice that seemed to get good reviews, but it was simply fried rices with chunks of pineapple. I was going to give it 1 star but it did seem like they were short staffed. However, it was not busy and our food did not take very long to come out. Our server seemed to be stressed out and gave us zero acknowledgement. Not one smile was shown to me even when the bill came out. This was a Sunday at around 7:00pm.

The presentation on the plate is fantastic. I love their duck dishes. My wife had coconut (vegetarian) soup. She claims it is the best soup she has eaten in her life... The place is very clean and the servers are excellent and very gracious...

Recently ordered take out from here and food was excellent overall. I ordered the Chicken Sa-Te and the Eggplant Tempura, both were very good and lots of flavor. Also ordered the Coconut soup and it was OK but I have had better, it was devoid of flavor and tasted a bit over salted. The Pad Thai and Pineapple Fried Rice were excellent and I would order again. I haven't had a lot of experiences with Thai cuisine but this experience very good and I would come back again as a sit down experience. As I stated in some of my other reviews, you lose a lot of the taste experience with take-out.

One of the better restaurants in Brandon. I don't get here as often as I like but every time I go the food is fresh and served quick. The servers are helpful and attentive. Prices are in line with other Thai restaurants around but I think this food is better. Usual selection with some wonderful chef specials.

  • Lisseth C.

While the decor of the restaurant impressed me, the food didn't as much. I was excited to eat some Thai food. Wasn't the worst I've eaten, but also wasn't the best Let start with the yellow curry. The potato was not cooked all the way, chicken was dry, and the portion was so small. It seemed like they gave us one scoop of it and another scoop of rice. I don't need to eat for two, but that was a joke! specially since that was my bf plate! The sauce was tasty tho. Pat se-ew was the dish I ordered. The noodle was good but it was too salty for my taste and the beef was really bad. :( very disapointed. Tum yum soup was good, but again small portion. Overall presentation was good, but the portion wasn't. Like come on we are not in a French restaurant nor I request an American portion, but daaayn it's not worth the price for Thai food! I felt like they were apatizers. LoL I'm not sure if I would go back...

I love this restaurant! This restaurant was a Yelp recommendation. It turns out to be very convenient to where I live. The best thing about this restaurant is the staff. They are so nice and very accommodating. The first time we went, it was right before closing, but they took our order anyway. The second time, I went with a friend. We sat and talked until after closing. They never once asked us to leave. My favorite appetizers are the edamames and the eggplant tempura. I love eggplant and when it is done well, I'm a very happy camper! It has great flavor and really hits the spot. As an entree, I've had the yellow curry both times. I really like this dish. It has potatoes in it which I wasn't expecting. This is not a hot curry, so anyone should enjoy it. The curry fried rice was different. I enjoyed it as the curry flavor blends well with the rest of the ingredients. I like my curry dishes over rice, so this seemed like a natural fit. It worked for me! The next part may seem odd, but this restaurant has the cleanest restrooms I think I've ever seen. It seems like a natural connection to think if the bathrooms are this clean, then I would imagine the kitchen is spotless! When you go in, be sure to note the tabletops. They are hand carved and from Thailand. They are unique and beautiful. Swing by...and enjoy!

We moved away from the Brandon area a couple of years ago. Jasmine Thai is one of the places we miss the most. By far the best Thai food in Florida. I live in Orlando and cant find a place as good as this. I get the panang Beef served with Zucchini and my wife always gets the Amazing Chicken. The Coconut soup is out of the world. Go in and ask for BIBI. She is the best.

Visited Jasmine Thai over the weekend...it's been some time since my last visit, but their service and food are consistent. The Chicken Pad Thai is still excellent with a huge portion (that I somehow still manage to eat). My sister had their Thai Curry, which was also great. The food took almost no time to make it our table and the waitresses were great. Still one of the best choices in Tampa Bay and a great choice in Brandon next to Ploy Thai.

Wishing I was at Jasmine Thai for dinner again tonight! My boyfriend and I ate there last night and it was very enjoyable! A little rainy outside, quiet and relaxing on the inside. The service and food was excellent! Can't wait to go back again!

Went to this Restaurant for the first time for dinner the other night with friends and I was impressed!! The decor is beautiful even down to the wood carvings on the tables! The staff were dressed culturally and looked amazing! We were seated immediately and waited on promptly. I ordered Combination Fried Rice which was fried rice with chicken, shrimp, beef, and pork. Food was delicious and portion was enought to fill me up and take some home for another meal the next day! Prices were very reasonable! I think my dish was $11.95, can't beat it! The staff even brought everyone at our table individual checks without even having to be asked! Great food, great service, and great atmosphere will definitly bring me back to this restaurant!

I hate to consider myself an "expert" on just about anything because let's me honest, no one really knows absolutely everything about anything. That said, I do think I a good base knowledge about Thai food, both market style and restaurant style. Now, if you asked me what the best market style Thai in Tampa is? The Buddhist temple HANDS DOWN. If you asked me restaurant style? Jasmine Thai. The food was delicious and inexpensive. The service was better than great, and the flavors were exactly as they were meant to be prepared. I've only been once, but my birthday is coming up and I'm thinking this just may be the spot to be.

I went for lunch on New Year's Day. We were seated right away to a quaint booth in a beautifully decorated room. The reasturant was extremely clean. The service was EXCELLENT. I started with the Tum Yum soup with tofu and it was tasty, hot and full of veggies. The Spring roll was also DELICIOUS, fresh, hot and crispy...YUM. For my main I tried something I've never had before it was the Siam with chicken. I really have nothing to compare this to but even though it was indicated as a spicy dish (I love my Thai food SPICY) it hardly had any heat in it at all. I was surprised at how sweet the dish was..I am more of a savory person so this disappointed me a little. But, the portion was spot on. The rice, chicken, and veggies cooked really well and I did finish my meal. I probably wouldn't order that dish again...not because of the dish itself or the way it was cooked but entirely due to my person taste preferences. I plan on eating here again and giving the Green Curry with Grouper a try next. I encourage you to give it a shot as well....nice place in Brandon to satisfy your Thai food craving.

I have tried to visit this restaurant 2 times due to the good reviews on Yelp. The first time I looked on line and it said they opened at 4. I pulled into the parking lot at 330 and waited until 4. When I walked up to the door they had a sign that said "sorry we are closed today." I then tried to visit again. This time I called at 2pm to see if they were open for lunch. I said "are you open for lunch today?" The lady responded, "yes, at 2:30." I ran an errand and arrived at 3 - only to be told they are closed and only serve until 2:30! Language barrier, I guess. But regardless I will stick to the other Thai restaurants in Brandon.

My husband and I have been eating at this place in Brandon for the past 10 years. We've never had a bad meal or bad service. The food is always very fresh and very flavorful, with so many choices on the menu. It's a pretty restaurant too. The Thai Sweet Iced Tea and Thai Sweet Iced Coffees are awesome! My husband really loves their spring rolls. I love the vegetable soup, the rice soup, the Tom Kha and the Tom Yum. They are all so, so tasty and full of really fresh flavors every time. Their grouper green curry is one of my favorite things on the menu. It's fried but it's crispy, you can taste the fish and the green curry sauce is absolutely delicious. Their spicy fried rice is really good too. Eat here for great Thai food. You won't be disappointed!

First off... Tampa has really impressed me with how many Thai restaurants there are. 2nd off... Jasmine Thai is really yummy! It's cozy and casual, but still pretty! The decorations are awesome, and the tables are really elaborately done. I was impressed. The food was authentic and the service was great. There's not much more that I can say.

Probably in my top 2 favorite places in Brandon... Food is quality, crisp, and super fresh. Great blend of flavors in everything on the menu. I went for a time where I had to have the pad-thai at least once a week. Never really that busy (but they should be). Staff is super friendly and attentive, Price is low if you are looking at the over all picture and compare it to the worth. THIS PLACE IS SUPER CLEAN!!!! Which in my opinion is a good way to judge a quality restaurant.... and this place is spotless. Not kidding at all on this,,, you could literally eat off the floors in the bathroom. Spotless. If you live any where in the Tampa/Brandon area, do yourself a favor and check this place out... I want them to do well because I want to be able to eat there next time I am in town!!!!!!!!!!

We found this place on Yelps and yes, it was Excellent! in every way. We especially loved the coconut soup-best that we've had in any state! Jasmine Thai is one of the best Thai restaurants in Tampa and probably the country. When I lived in Chicago, there were a ton of thai places (4 within walking distance from my apartment), so I have some experience with the cuisine. Jasmine rivals (and bests) the best places in Chicago! I usually go for lunch at least once a week with colleagues from work. Its cheap, its fast and its fantastic. Most dishes are under $8 bucks for lunch and that includes an appetizer and soup. (Dinner menu is slightly more expensive and doesn't include the appetizer/soup deal.) My favorites are Pad thai, Yellow curry and hot pepper basil. I have tried other dishes and so far none have been disappointing. The service is efficient and friendly. It can be slow at times but they try hard to please and I have no complaints. Definitely my favorite restaurant in Tampa area!

I enjoy a visit to Thai restaurants from time to time. I've always enjoyed going to Ploy Thai which is not far from this Restaurant but we were close and thought with the good reviews why not give it a try. The atmosphere is nice. I thought the service and food was just mediocre. It was a nice visit but the food really didn't compare. I was disappointed based off previous experiences elsewhere. It's worth a visit but I didn't get blow away like some of the other reviews said.

I should start by disclosing the fact that I am a novice to Thai cuisine. With that said, this place was amazing, even when compared to my handful of other Thai meals that I had previously considered "good", the food and dinning experience was exceptional at Jasmine Thai. A colleague and I came here after locating it on Yelp and taking a gamble. It is very nondescript and subdued from the outside, located in a strip mall with very little signage, and absolutely zero curb appeal. However, inside the restaurant was very nice, and had a lot of decorations that were actually pretty cool, especially in the tables. Our server was exceptional. She was very patient and accommodating to our naïveté of what everything was, and what to order. She had a very nice personality and made you feel very welcome. We ordered the "two friend panang" and the "green curry with beef" and decided to split them. When all was said and done, neither of us could decide which we enjoyed more, as they were both delicious in their own rights. Each dish featured a plethora of well-balanced flavors, as well as ingredients that tasted very fresh. The Panang was the spicier of the two, but not overpowering, and very well balanced. The green curry was slightly creamier and sweeter, and the flavors definitely held true to the descriptions I had read of green curry. If you do go, do not skip dessert. The Jasmine Banana dish was incredible! Homemade coconut ice cream that was delectable with bananas hand cut and perfectly wrapped like a present of flavor in a light dough and flash fried, all drizzled with honey. Everything had just the right amount of flavor to compliment the other ingredients. The juxtaposition of warm to cold, and the sweetness of the bananas and honey to the coconut were perfect. It was also a great way to offer your palette some closure after the bombardment of flavors in the curry. I full heartedly give this restaurant 5 stars, as the food and experience were exceptional!

Decor is nice, service is great. I had the Pad Thai and it was like Pad Thai out of a box. I have never had such bland (yes, bland!) Thai food ever (I ordered extra spicy). The presentation is beautiful and it looks perfect, just the taste is off. We got spring rolls for an appetizer (non-fried), they were delicious. I would recommend that they cut the roll in half so that it is not so intimidating and you can see the inside of the roll. Taste was alright. Overall a good place but not a place that I will go to again.

The service was ok, there was only one waitress for yesterday's lunch. The food was ok. The Tom Kha Gai (coconut chicken soup) is probably one of the better ones in Tampa, but still not as good as it's supposed to be. They also used dried chili flake/powder instead of fresh chilies in my dish, which was weird. The decor was nice though. I liked that they had the authentic tables with the wood cravings of scenes from Thailand, under the glass. (We sat at the big table.)

I order the Panang curry dish whenever I go to a Thai restaurant during my business trips, and I'm always disappointed because Jasmine Thai has spoiled me by having the best curry. I'm just happy that the best happens to be close to home! The restaurant is always very clean (immaculate even), and the people working there are extremely nice.

After being disappointed with the previous Thai place I used to go to I decided to try this one out. I ordered takeout of Yellow Curry, Pad Thai, Clear Noodle Dish (Pad Woon Sen), and a appetizer sampler platter. The sampler platter was okay, but forgettable about the only thing that both my wife and I enjoyed was the spring rolls. The other items were either too greasy, too salty, or just too fried. The Pad Thai was a little mild for my taste, but I still enjoyed this immensely. Very light and tasty and I would recommend this if you do not like spicy food, but very tasty. The clear noodles or Pad Woon Sen is one of my favorite dishes, very light and very delicate. The noodles play well with the vegetables and was not overcooked at all, not easy to accomplish because this dish is easy to burn or cook until rubber. The Yellow Curry was the best, my wife commented that it was the best she had. It was the best I've had in a long time. I will definitely be trying this again. While I was there looking at the menu I was counting the number of times I would need to come back and try everything I wanted to order tonight, quite a few trips I need to make. I think I have found my new Thai Place.

  • Shenia J.

  • Sarah V.

  • Naima W.

  • Camaron A.

Nicely decorated place with nice tables. Food was pretty good for lunch at least. I would go again to try out their other dishes.

The Green and Yellow curry and Pad Thei were delicious. The eggplant tempura and chicken sa-te were great! We highly recommend this restaurant when your are in Brandon.

Truly always good food here. The soups are all good and $3 or less! The Spicy fried rice is my favorite. Been going here for years and it is consistently good. Highly recommended!!

I just moved to here from New York. First time try Thai food here. Food is great and price is cheaper than in New York. Like this place now. I will step by again. Nice service, too.

Excellent food but portions of rice were a little small. The restaurant was very clean and well appointed.

Jasmine Thai is the best Thai Restaurant in the area! We have tried so many other Thai restaurants. Their Panang Curry is our favorite dish. Their spring rolls are very good too. Meebi is an excellent waitress! She is very nice and attentive.
