I absolutely love this place. I've been several Chinese places because it is my favorite type of food. This is by far the best. I typically order the same thing, shrimp and mixed vegetables and pork fried rice. I love the rice because it's fresh and has sprouts in it. YUM!

This place is better than most. They cook the meats right to where it is not like chewing on tire. You can actually chew and it taste better then any quick place i have been in. Its just a little walk from the parking lot but it is worth it. The prices are nice a cheap too, wait staff is friendly, quick and don't mind going the extra mile for you. If you are in the Brandon mall area and want Chinese food, stop by this place for a bite. You will become a fan too.

I did not want to give 1 star. This by far is the worst Chinese food I have ever had across the country. The fried rice was burnt and that's exactly what is was rice and nothing else. The egg rolls were old and just refried to make them hot. The chicken was over cooked and rubbery with no taste. I could have eaten a rubber ball and gotten more flavor. I would not recommend this place at all..absolutely disgusting!!

Aside from being conveniently close to the AMC theatre, there's not much good to say about this restaurant. First off, service was either busy or non existent most of the time during our visit. There was about 2 servers for all the guests it seemed and one person making sushi. We also ordered two taro boba smoothies and all they brought us was something like taro powdered drinks in ice! I'm not sure if they know that smoothies, especially with boba in it, are supposed to be blended with ice, especially what we're used to. Our server didn't seem to friendly either. We ordered sushi and since there was only one person making it and so many guests, our order seemed to take forever. They did have a lunch special for food and sushi so that was a plus. We got 8 pieces for 1 roll so not a bad portion. The sushi was okay but not the best we've had, acceptable for the price, especially for around Tampa. Overall I guess if you get really hungry before or after watching a movie you can give this place a try but hold off if you want quality. We will be trying other places for sure.

We love this place! The food is delicious & authentic. The staff is always friendly & polite. The decor is not the best but it's a family run restaurant so you shouldn't expect a super fancy restaurant. The food is amazing & it's out fav restaurant. Give it try!

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! They have 42 total health code violations! Uncooked meats & unwashed vegetables that they are set in to customers! We as consumers have to be more mindful of where our food comes from and how it is prepped. Look up restaurant grades people! Please vote this up so people can see it, I'm not trying to trash this business but you cannot run a restaurant like this!

We paid $31 for takeout. We were shorted shrimp eggrolls for regular egg rolls. When we complained to the restaurant manager that our food had to be two or three days old he was very nonchalant and stated that he never had a complaint about serving left over food. I however have found multiple complaints about old stale food that this restaurant is serving on various websites including rip off.com

I'm so surprised about all the bad reviews. This place was good. A little on the salty side but still really good. you can tell this place is family owned. One person complained about the décor. Yes décor is not great but my food and service was not bad at all. I ordered Mongolian beef which was excellent. Beef and mushroom was good, lomein kind of tasted like the food court kind but who cares still good lol, fried rice was ok, and egg rolls were not that great. They have French fries as well thought that was a little weird but if you bring your picky kids feed them fries. Food came out extremely fast and all of the employees were very friendly. A little poor on the English language though.

The menu says New York style Chinese. I guess that means greasy and bland. I ordered wonton soup and and egg roll. The soup tasted like water and oil. The waitress also brought a plate of fried wonton strips which could easily turn paper see thru. A few minutes later she brought the egg roll which had no filling. It was just egg roll wrapper inside an egg roll wrapper. The duck sauce she brought to go with the egg roll was pure corn syrup and orange food coloring. The whole time I was eating I couldn't stop staring at this poor decor. Everything was mismatched and there were what seemed to be several employee work spaces in the dinning area. I had a full view of surveillance cameras on the big screen tv, you know... In case we get robbed. I try not to judge Chinese places by the look on the inside but sometimes you just want the illusion of a place meant for diners not just take out. I would love a suggestion if any fellow yelper's know of such a place. In the meantime pass on this place. They are just cutting too many corners.

After not being in their delivery area and if I was it would be at the $15 for 5 mile level. This place is in the AMC movie area, do not plan on getting a parking spot. Plan on getting ruded to by teens while walking to the restaurant. I called for carry out. I ordered small size for beef mushroom (oops sorry just mushroom because that's all we got) house fried rice and egg roll. There was like 4 pieces of beef, the meal was bland and had to add soy and pepper to get flavor. Price not worth it and taste not worth the trip.

Not bad Chinese food compared to other local establishments. It's the closest fix I can get compared to what Chicago offers.

They have the best Egg Foo young dishes I've had in years!!! Great servings and moderate prices. Friendly service and very close to the AMC Theatre in Brandon. Their other food dishes are very good as well.

Overall, mediocre. I ordered delivery because I was having a lazy night. I ordered crab rangoon, fried rice, orange chicken, and Lo Mein for me and the fam. The crab rangoon was okay, nothing to write home about. The fried rice was rather flavorless. It didn't seem like it was made fresh at all. I'm thinking maybe even a couple of weeks old. The lo mein made the "okay" list as well. The orange chicken was about average from a Chinese delivery place. I gave it three stars instead of two because beggars can't be choosers. It's not a place I would take visiting family, but it works in a pinch. I will probably order it again if I am exhausted, don't feel like cooking, and want something quick and easy to eat.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
