LOVE the food here. It's fantastic, but I took off 2 stars for service. I have several issues with this place in regards to service. I've never seen an employee over maybe say 18 there. That being said the service really hasn't been that good the last several times I've been there. They struggle with consistent portions and they just seem to be constantly in the weeds. The person that cashes me out is always nice, but they need a manager on duty more consistently. I also think that their guac is too expensive. I'm good with an upcharge but I think it's like 1.50 extra. I can make my own bowl of guac for 2.00.

Their serving portions has been awful for me compared to the others in line I've seen had way more quantity than I did.

This location and South Tampa are the best in the area. Fresh ingredients. Good portions. I do agree with another reviewer that this location has inconsistency with staff. When main manager is working, the place is clean and staff is on their game. Otherwise, it is hit or miss with food being ready.

This is the closest Chipotle to my parents house, and I am so thankful it is there! We use to have to drive all the way to USF to get our Chipotle fixes! This Chipotle has a very young staff, and they can be a little disorganized. There have been times where there will be only one or two people working the line while 6 other people are cooking or just standing around. Occurrences like this cause the line to always be long. The food is great, just like any other Chipotle, so I will be back waiting in that long line anytime I'm in the Brandon/Valrico area.

I eat there once a week or more. The food is great and service is quick. I really like the friendly staff who are efficient and keep the line moving. Usually, when I see a line (not peak times) it's because there's a newbie ordering and they don't know how things work. The bathrooms are clean and that's a plus. Also there's always parking due to the very large lot. At many of the other Chipotles I have visited (I think I have been to them all), the parking is very challenging. I've waited to write this review for my local Chipotle because I think they started out a bit slowly and service was slow and staff not trained. In all fairness, I think it takes some time for a new business to work out the kinks. So if you are looking for a quick delicious lunch or dinner that is environmentally conscious, give it a try!

They are okay, my first time going they had no Chips in the whole store didn't tell me till I got there I ordered via phone, and then my dad found a real leaf from outside in his burrito, never going back! Oh and service wasn't that good, called to complain at 8pm and they said to call back its a busy time then when we called back they pushed it off like it was our fault! Worst service I've had for a fast food Mexican restaurant I'm sticking to Moe's oh and when they did have Chips I got for free but they where stale!

Really disappointed in the quality which was not up to Chipotle standards by a longshot. Also, the food was served to us cold. Like, "how long has this been sitting out, am I going to get food poisoning?" cold.

What keeps me coming back is this place is consistent. Foods is always fresh. Service is always good. Only complaint is the guacamole up charge. Total buzz kill :-)

One of my favorite places to eat around here. Staff is always nice and I'm never disappointed by the food. Whoever invented chipotle, thank you. Thank you so much.

My recent trip was only the second time I had ever been to Chipotle. Before you chase me with flaming torches, it was nowhere to be found where I grew up or went to college! I like it, the chicken and steak are delicious and of good quality. Had a bogo card so I had one for lunch the next day. Had the barbacoa in my first experience a couple of years ago and it was solid...but honestly, the burrito chains all kind of run together for me. Chipotle is the all-around solid one, Qdoba has awesome queso, Moe's has the salsa bar and is cheap. I really don't have a preferred destination. Once again...don't hate me, Chipotle fans. As everyone else has said, still can't get over the nearly $2 upcharge for guac. I love guac and I love Chipotle's guac, but I'm not paying 30% of the cost of my burrito to add it.

I come from California so I love Chipotle. It's amazing and delicious and good service where I come from. No idea why it's so bad over here. They gave my sister food poisoning and my dish was way too salty.

By far the worst quick serve Mexican around. I really don't know how these franchises stay in business. The rice is disgusting and when thats your base for a burrito there is a huge problem. They don't mix everything up, so you get one bite with chicken another bite of just sour cream and so on, whats the point?

I was so excited to take my friend there for her first time and was greatly disappointed. There was only one person in the line that was trying to do everything herself. The other employees were standing around gossiping and playing. I ordered hard tacos. They only had two hard tacos and said they ran out. I had to get a soft taco. I also wanted guac and chips. They didn't have chips either. I asked for a discount and the very young manager Deon said he wasn't going to give me a discount even though they were out of several things. Deon was rude and had a cocky demeanor. I will not go back to this Chipotle again. We were very disappointed.

Oh Chipotle, how I love thee. I am a big fan of this tasty burrito chain, and this location is a favorite stop of mine when working in the Brandon area. You really can't beat it for a quick lunch. My burrito salad bowl and large drink costs less than going through the Wendy's drive-thru, and the quality is so superior (obviously). I love that Chipotle prides itself on serving sustainably raised food including antibiotic and hormone-free meat. I typically order the chicken for lunch but also love the barbacoa beef. Everything tastes so fresh, and I love the homemade salsas. You can be as healthy or as unhealthy as you want at Chipotle, which I love. I wish Chipotle delivered for catering, because I would use them all.the.time. But, they do offer catering for pick-up, and I believe you can even place your burrito order online and have it ready and waiting for you to be picked up. Gotta love technology. Overall, a great dining option when in the Brandon area. Chipotle beats Moe's. Forever.

Chipotle is my favorite burrito joint. I just wish there was one closer to me. This is one is the closest but still a 20-25 minute drive from me. But Chipotle is worth the trip. I feel like this location is one of the smaller ones. However, we easily found a seat. The restaurant wasn't too crowded. I loved that the manager was walking around and cleaning. As soon as someone left a table he was right there getting it ready for the next person. We got through the line pretty qucikly. My favorite is the chicken burritto. I get it with white rice, green salsa, sour cream, cheese, and gucamole. Chipotle gucamole is to die for! It is the best I have ever had anywhere. My kids love the cheese quesadillas. I cannot get them to eat them at home. They eat it all of it everytime we go to Chipotle! And then they ask for seconds.

Whenever I am away from you for too long, Chipotle, skies are gray and rainy. I was excited when I learned that this location would be opening so close to home. No more trips across to Westshore/S Tampa or St Pete for my fix. Love that they don't have a fussy menu. They stick to what they do well. My pick is the full of spice and flavor barbacoa drenched in Jalapeno Mild Tobasco atop a beautiful black bean and corn salsa salad. REMEMBER TO ASK FOR THE HONEY VINAIGRETTE. It is a meal changer! See photo for a peek. I've always had great service and a good meals from this location - as well as all the Chipotle locations I've visited more times than I can count while living in FL and CA. Lucky for me, there has been one within a 2 mile radius of where I've lived in both states, which means, I'm a repeat customer time and time again! My only qualm? The new ridiculous price of a guacamole side. Rip off. Boo.

It's chipotle. What else can I say. I know what to expect. It doesn't disappoint and always dog friendly. I always get the same thing here a burrito bowl with carnitas, fajita veggies, corn salsa. All is good in the world of Chipotle.

Always a good choice when your looking for something different. I found a rare coupon on twitter that enabled me to get 2 items aka BOGO! I ordered my usual a burrito and for my bonus item I wanted to try a salad After trying it I found my new favorite item to order. Salad was a good size felt actually heavy and it was a bowl of layers of goodness. I was very impressed with it ,another Chipotle achievement.

I love Chipotle for a big burrito fix but against California Mexican food this place would be two stars but we are in Florida. Love the carnitas and barbacoa with the the hot sauce! Yum!

I had visited numerous Chipotle locations when I traveled across the country, I am finally glad we got one in the Brandon area. The menu is extremely simple, but it absolutely blows away Moe's when it comes to the same products. This place is absolutely packed during the lunch and dinner rushes, but you can cut the line by ordering online or with their iPhone app. The only thing I would have a problem is the soft tortillas, while they are tasty and delicate, sometimes they split when eating your burrito or soft taco. The service is prompt, accurate, and ultra-friendly. I would definitely recommend for someone looking to get a fast, but tasty bite to go. You can stay and eat your meal there, but if you go during the normal lunch or dinner you may be out of luck for a seat.

First time I have been to a Chipotle. I am not sure what the craze is all about and why there are lines out the door of every store that I see. We must have gotten lucky today, and it was after the lunch crowd and empty. Not much to the interior felt more like I was in a college-town upscale fast food eatery. Benches, tables, chrome in a very open room. You have two interactions with employees, the person taking your order and the person checking you out. They were nice. The menu is simple: burrito, taco, bowl, salad; choose the rice (brown or white), sauce, beans, sour cream and your pick of meat. My wife got the salad. She liked it. I have to admit for $7 she got a large serving. She also enjoyed Corona Light. I got the Burrito, with steak. It must have weighed 3lbs, 2.97lbs of filler (rice, beans etc) and about 3 oz of steak. I figured the late night crowd would love this place after being out late - then I saw they close at 10pm. It was a large $7 burrito. Yes I did eat it. Yes I took a power nap after getting back to the house. Will I count the hours until I get a chance to get another one of their burritos. Nah. My son ate at Firehouse subs after school today; a large combo sub with chips and a soda for $9.88. My personal choice, join him next time. My wife would probably repeat the salad. Bottom line, I expected a great burrito from all the hype. It was just lunch.

I never have anything bad to say about the freshness of the food here at Chipotle. It is a bit of a rip off to pay $1.80 for a side of guacamole...but whatever. I think that the inside layout of this store wasn't thought over very well. Brandon/Valrico is a really busy area and we all love to go out to eat. It doesn't make any sense to have more high top tables than regular tables and chairs. What about the old people, or the ones that have problems getting up on high chairs?!! Other than that, I LOVE Chipotle...I'm glad that it's literally right down the road from where I live. Close and convenient and always good to go grab quick, fresh fast food

I love Chipotle. The food is great and usually the employees are very friendly and helpful. Not here, though. They were rude and rushed us. I came with a friend that has never been here and I wanted to explain the line items to her and they didn't give us a chance. They should really work on their customer service.

I eat at chipotle all the time. I used to drive all the way to South Tampa to go to get lunch at that Chipotle. This one is a bit slow. They don't seem to have their process down. If there is a long line it's gonna be a while. Very unlike most Chipotle restaurants that I have gone to. The food however is very good. Chipotle definitely prides itself on keeping a very consistent flavor to the food. I'm hoping their service will continue to improve as they get some time under their belt.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
