I'd reccommend this place for your quickie Chinese take out needs. Chicken fried rice and egg rolls were tasty so I'll be back. Not sure why it's so difficult to find decent Chinese in this area but China One hits the spot at least.

just called in an order...if the food is anything like the dead weight on the phone, im concerned. will rate when the food gets here.

Food is decent and the portions are huge. For the price you just can't go wrong. Love their Crab Rangoon. If I have to do "fast food" Chinese this is my go to place since they deliver.

I just drove 7 miles from my house to try this place because there is no good Chinese food by our house. I'm not sure what the hype is about, my husband didn't like his fried dumplings at all and I found my chicken and broccoli very average. We'll need to keep searching for good Chinese in Riverview.

Just moved here from NY two weeks ago expecting not to find chinese food in Florida comparable to NY chinese food. I have to say this was better than any NY take out that i have eaten! The wonton/eggdrop soup and sesame chicken was fantastic! My only complaint is that they don't have chow fun on the menu!

We just moved to the area and are enamored by this restaurant. There is absolutely nothing special about the restaurant itself...it is the food that is the star. Touting a NY style kitchen, the flavors are simply marvelous. I had the Singapore noodles. A thin noodled dish chock full of shrimp, chicken, pork, beef and veggies tossed in a light but flavorful curry sauce. Delish! Egg rolls are typical but delicious. No wonder this restaurant has 4 stars. They also deliver. Total quality food top to bottom!

Wow. I had this today and besides how long delivery took the food was amazing. I'm from pa and this was like eating Chinese back home. I actually think it was better. Food was hot as usual, flavor was there, egg rolls were great. I only ding the delivery cause back home they would show up in like 20 min and here it took 1hr 10min. That may be normal for here tho. Food was amazing I had to say it again

Consistently great. So rare for Chinese takeout in the south. Lunch specials are a total bargain. The fried rice has an awesome smoky flavor.

The food was fine after it was finally delivered to me...it took an hour and a half for the food to get here! I called after an hour and the phone call was very strange, she verified my address and said OK bye...then thirty minutes after that I called again and she said he was on his way. The very strange delivery driver arrived shortly after and was very creepy as he looked around the entry way to my front door in awe and proclaimed he was here with the Chinese food..he didn't even apologize for the wait or act like anything had happened. I'm just glad the food didn't have a hair in it. I won't be ordering again. Also I'm glad I have a protective dog because I'm now scared the delivery driver might target my house after his strange behavior.

Myself and my entire office decided to order from this place delivery. Much to our surprise, everything and I mean everything was delicious, they cool their meats properly! No rubber texture and you can chew it! The flavors are to die for and their delivery time is very quick. The lunch prices are unbeatable and the people on the phones taking the order speak perfect English. All of my co workers including myself are very happy to have found this great place. Try this place out! They also deliver out of area within reason, our case we were about 8 miles out of range, but we paid an extra 3 bucks total and wala! It's there. This is definitely going to be a regular place to order from at the office. Thanks again guys! You rock!

Great take out. Food taste very good and you a lot with your order. We've been ordering take out from here for about 2 years since we moved to Brandon and have never had a issue.

I moved to Tampa from Los Angeles & am very picky about my food... I was so happy with China 1... I ordered delivery, and it arrived really fast, everything was pipping hot & delicious! Really fresh. The only reason I didn't give it 5-stars is because I have a favorite hole-in-the wall place in Los Angeles that I literally crave... This is darn good though... I will continue to order from here! Great value too - big portions!

I have been having delivery from China One since we moved to this area 2 years ago. The food has been wonderful. Better than Lee House. No MSG. Large portions. Tender meat. Fresh Veg. Never a complaint. The food was very good. If you spent over 25 dollars they give you free Crab Triangles. Without mentioning the coupon on the menu. And since we were repeat customers, they would throw in free soup. Last week we called for delivery. Ordered pepper steak. The meat was very tender but had been marinated in pure soy sauce for a long period of time. It was inedible. Also ordered Ma Po Tofu, something I make myself, and it was the most hidious thing. Frozen peas and carrots and celery do not belong in MaPo Tofu. I asked for very spicey, not even a hint of heat. The sauce had no flavor other than, again, soy sauce. One of our favorites, Moo Shu Pork, which was always the best with wood ear mushroom had barely any pork, white button mushrooms and instead of pancake, they gave us egg roll wrappers??? The sauce you put onto the pancake, bbq sauce, was watered down and tasteless. We ordered an appitizer that came with sweet and sour sauce and that too was watered down. I don't know how you can water down sweet and sour sauce, but they managed it. It was a light orange color and again, no flavor. We threw everything away. I don't know if they are under new management or the supply truck didn't come in but I have to call them and find out. Honestly, Panda Express would have been much better but they don't do Moo Shu or Tofu dishes. Or cook it myself. I don't see any other recent entries for China One, but if you are a Yelp user, please post a comment about your food order in the last two weeks. I am hoping it was just an off day because after two years of wonderful food that delivers, need I say more. Update....Called China One and spoke to owner Susan and told her about our order. Seems they got a new cook and we probably got the food from that cook. I will most definitely try again and hope the next order is up to snuff. Thank you Susan for taking the time to listen about my experience.

They always have awesome food but now they have this fat white boy running the register that's a rude asshole. Needs to be slapped.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
