Moe's is good. My only compliant is that they don't have an option for hotter sauces. If I'm eating at a Mexican/Southwestern restaurant.... I want the option to burn my face off.

Used to be ok but now just BAD. Don't bother ordering hard shell taco's, by the time the incredibly SLOOOOOOW staff get it filled it will be soggy. Whatever the new owners ar doing it's not working. I used to got there at least once a week for lunch. NO MORE

First time I came here it was awesome! The manager talked to me and refilled the soda machine for me because it was low. She was super nice and friendly. The second time I ordered through the app on my phone. That way I could pick up lunch on my way to work. The same manager was there. She even remembered me! The third time I was there, I ordered a bowel. But the girl who helped me was wearing a sweatshirt. Which seemed odd to me. I don't recall that being their uniform. If they even have one. Every time she would scoop something up to put it in the bowel her string from her sweatshirt kept falling into the bowel. It grossed me out. I'm not sure if I want to go back there because of that last time. And I haven't been back since. I get grossed out easy by things like that. So I guess only time will tell.

I really like moes. Love the chicken quesadilla. The only disappointing trip I had was when I was served a burnt dried out chicken quesadilla that someone forgot was cooking. Good Service is really important but of course Iove moes!

I stop here every Friday after work and get a Joey Bag. I love the burritos, the chips, the salsa and especially the hot sauce.

Good choice for casual Mexican food, in fact I like it better than most Mexican restaurants (i.e. The Mexican Post). The staff is always friendly and I am a big fan of the salsa bar. I would definitely recommend Moe's for a quick burrito or quesadilla.

Took them 15+ minutes to make a milkshake because no one but the manager knew how to make it. The staff seemed like they didn't want to be there.

Wanted to hate this place because I figured it couldn't be as good as Chipotle. I was wrong. Food is awesome! Better choices for toppings. Free chips! Definitely my new favorite place.

Wasn't happy with the cashier. I came with 2 kids, and when I checked out I said "hi, I need to pay for the kids separately" (I was babysitting, and needed a separate receipt to get reimbursed). I handed him the cash and when I asked for the receipt, he said it was too late, and "I didn't think you would want one". I wasn't happy.

New owners! Beware! I have ordered catered lunches for nearly three years, The franchise was taken over by new owners. when the transition happened late spring I had a few orders that were not up to par. However I understand business transitions and was willing to work with the restaurant. However I ordered another large catering order at the end of June. THEY cHARGED $70 OVER The normal rate in which I received. I'm also aware of inflation, but $70 as a significant amount. I have ordered the same thing, at least once a month, to the same business for almost 3 years. The only thing that changed was the person responsible for this order. Valerie. The new catering manager, VALERIE, was very disorganized. She claimed I was under charged in the past, however she would reimburse because of my loyalty and continued patronage. She also wanted me to send the documentation of the rate from the previous owner, I had sent her emails and screenshots. I never heard from her. After a month of several phone calls and emails I and very disappointed to say I have not yet received the reimbursement for the overcharged order. I tried talking to Valerie again, and her email response to me was that she was in another store, in Wilmington, and did not have time to adjust it. I again repeatedly called the store and her Business cell phone. FINALLY, Valerie returned my call to tell me she is no longer honoring a refund for the overcharged order. This back-and-forth for six weeks is very frustrating. Apparently the new owners, own the entire state of dELAWARE and parts, PHILADELPHIA The store manager called me to refund the money, however it has not since posted on the credit card, it's been almost 2 weeks. His name is JUSTIN. And I believe he was the only one with an understanding of customer service at this organization. I appreciate his time and help, however I have yet to hear from the owner or Valerie Six weeks still no refund. This is extremely frustrating, and disappointing especially to a loyalist.

This restaurant gets high marks for healthy & tasty ingredients. The restaurant advertises itself as using grass-fed beef, antibiotic-free dairy, & cage-free chicken, which means better tasting ingredients and support of ethical farm practices. I had pork and chicken tacos, and both were downright delicious. The nachos were also pretty good. The $3 margaritas were from a pitcher, party-style, and pleasantly boozy. People have been saying it's a little pricey, but who says food should be cheap? I wouldn't compare this restaurant to Taco Bell. Moe's sells people food.

So disappointing! I used to come here all the time a few years ago and loved how pleasant and welcoming the staff was. Always shouting "welcome to Moe's" when i walked in. Not any more... Between waiting in line and eating I was there for almost an hour and I didn't hear one person, including the grumpiest manager I have ever seen, welcome anyone to Moe's. They didn't even smile, none of them!! It was hands down the worst service I have ever received. The girl getting the orders started was not trained enough and didn't even know what to put on different items. They didn't have tofu but instead of talking to me about what was going on she and the other employee were just whispering to each other. The manager did make and appearance and started to cook tofu but not one ever told me there would be a wait or apologized. After maybe another 5 minutes the manager came back and whispered to the employees then grumbled something under his breath about the tofu and put it on my tacos. He then started to wrap them so I spoke up and said I still wanted topping on my tacos. Instead of apologizing or even acknowledging me he said to the employee " I thought you said these were ready to go" I will try maybe one more time. If I walk in and am not greeted with the traditional "Welcome to Moe's" I will not be back!

STINGY STINGY STINGY!!!!! I hate this location .....period. The manager is rude, and half the staff has an unpleasant disposition a majority of times.

I want to like this place, I really do! Slow, slow service. I always get fish tacos and they would be made to order. I was ok with waiting a bit but now they are in a tin container and so not flavorful. We finally ordered and the person who took my grandson and my orders left before taking my husbands order. There was a problem with an order before us so our food sat while it was figured out. New item is carvel ice cream. The same person who takes your payment serves the little kids who come up after dinner for ice cream. This gums up the already slow line. I ordered an extra taco for my grandson because there was no way you cold go back up after! If you want some fresh Mexican food go to California Tortilla! Fast and good!

This place is weak. The food doesn't even come close to making up for the overly noisy employees. It's just terrible. Pass it by.

Well, if you like food that's looks and tastes like its been sitting out for hours, then "WELCOME TO MOE'S". If you like unprofessional, clueless and unnecessarily loud staff, then "WELCOME TO MOE'S". The food was gross. I got a steak burrito and it was grey( the steak) and dry. Like it had been out a while. When I walked they yelled their welcome, which is great. But then that was it. I happen to be using a walker at the time and I was just standing around not sure of where to go. The only part of my meal that I actually enjoyed was my cherry coke. I'll stick to chipotle, thanks.

The name of this place should be changed to waiting the southwest grill. No matter what day or time I come here they appear to be understaffed and ubber-slow. I heard they now offer fish tacos and since I was craving I braved the 3mile line. The tacos were decent not sure they are worth the 3.69 price tag per taco but I'd order them again. They are very generous with the fish and toppings though I only got cilantro and onions I watched as others received heaping amounts of fixings. my issues with this place have been the same for years Long ass lines -always Slow ass staff- always Slightly over priced I hope management will one day read reviews and beef up the staff. This place has the right ingredients for success it's just not being executed properly . 3.5 stars for Moes-slow west grill

I also am not a big fan of chain restaurants, as the previous reviewer had said. However, I just can't not like Moe's. It's cheap, and I can have a variety of choices. They even have tofu burritos and green salsa! I used to get the tofu burrito every time, but recently I feel in love with the chicken nachos because of the lovely queso they pour over the top. I don't even want to know how many calories are in that thing. If I knew, I'd probably never eat there again, but we all deserve some horrible for you deliciousness now and again. The choice of toppings is quite nice. You can get pickled jalapenos or fresh ones (much hotter, but nice). You can get fresh cilantro, chopped onlons, lettuce, cheese, black olives, and/or salsa. For a little extra you can have guacamole and/or sour cream. You can choose from black beans or pinto beans. Meat choices are ground beef, steak, chicken, tofu, pork, veggies (I know it's not a meat, but you can use it instead if you want) and now fish. I have tried the chicken and tofu. My boyfriend is in love with the pork, but he likes the steak as well. The quality varies though depending on who's working. Some people are sloppy at rolling the burritos and skimp on the toppings or don't spread them out right. I really don't want a lump of guacamole on one side of my burrito. I want it spread out! Others are professional and spread out the fillings and neatly roll your burrito. Also, depended on whose working, the fillings might be skimpy or very generous. It's kinda a hit or miss. Hopefully you won't get unlucky and decide to take a trip to Moe's when "Johnny Tightfist" is the one filling your burrito. "Johnny Tightfist" makes you think that maybe they're making those burritos out of gold. My biggest complaint is the random occasional charge for a dentist size spit cup to put water in. What the heck? I mean, if you're going to charge me for a cup, at least give me a real cup. I have to go to the fountain machine every two seconds to put more water in it, which kinda takes away from the enjoyment of my dinner. I don't like soda, and bottled water is just plain stupid to buy when we live in a country that has a good, safe water supply. If you want a quick, cheap, but tasty meal, I highly recommend it. But, if you don't like soda, I would recommend bringing your own cup.

I'm a Moe's fan and always stop by for grabbing a quick bite. Their new tofu bowl is a major hit, if you are vegan or vegetarian.

This Moe's is in the Brandywine Town Center strip mall. The parking arrangement is a bit weird but this restaurant does have a section of the parking area. Moe's is not one of my favorites because it never seemed like I got much food for the money. Sure, it's a step up from Taco Bell but not really that big of a step up to justify $6-$7 for a burrito or nachos. That said, I thought service was just fine. It started with "Welcome to Moe's!" Then I asked for nearly every single topping on my nachos and she did pile it on. Seats are comfortable if you pick one of the booths. The salsa bar with various kinds of salsa is a nice touch. They also have some decent iced tea.

If you want to giggle at how mouth-breathey and situationally unaware people are, go to Moe's and watch people as they walk in the door. Moe's staffers are trained to cheerfully yell "Welcome to Moe's!" when people walk in the door. And when the people walking in the door hear this greeting, they are stunned, so they stand there with a GIANT cartoon question mark over their head. You can actually hear them thinking, "Oh. Someone has just said hello to me. I will stand here with my mouth open and stare blankly in the doorway while I try to figure out what to do when someone says hello to me. I will also block the doorway because I am oblivious." Bonus points if they're royally blocking everything with a stroller. Here's a clue for those people: Say hello back (really, it's OK. It's called "politeness" and "friendliness." Try it! Really!), and then get the fark out of the doorway because you're blocking it, you stupid-head. And here's a tip for you, Mr. or Ms. Smart Person: Sit near the front so you have a good view of the doorway entertainment, and you will chuckle in your smug superiority. I know I do. ANYWAY. The food! Right! You know, I'm not a big fan of chains, and I really don't want to like Moe's. But every time I go there, I eat what I am given and goshdarnit, I freakin' like it. Every single time. I'm a fan of the Homewrecker served in a bowl (sans tortilla), and with the queso cheese instead of the shreddy cheese. I ask for extra pico and extra cilantro, and it is a dang tasty thing. And after typing this, I would like to eat one right now. The place gets a little crowded around dinner, and since it has high ceilings and a cement floor it can be a little loud. That's really my only complaint.

I seem to end up going here often when up in Wilmington. I love the food and for the price the food is hard to beat. I have had it all but love the Pork Bowl and Queso with chips best. Suggestion.... I am sure the people get tired of saying " Welcome to Moe's" and really it's okay if you drop it.

It was wonderful food!!! Thank you!! I would def came back again. The only thing they have to improve on is making sure there is ice in the machine for the soft drinks and the proper utensils, they only had spoons. Other then that I'd go back!!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
