Sportzone is a good place to go to watch the game and get some decent bar food. I've been there a half a dozen times and the food is mediocre overall and the service is okay depending on who you get. There is a lot of seating throughout the dining room and roughly 20 seats at the bar. There are TVs all over the place so there is always a good view of whatever it is you're there to watch. The menu is full of bar food including burgers, sandwiches, and fried stuff. My favorite thing on the menu (Beef on Weck) is no longer on there but there is plenty of other stuff to choose from. The best item on the menu, BY FAR, are the Crabby Fries. Blue crab meat and queso cover a basket of their tasty french fries. I haven't found a place in the entire state who makes anything like this better than they do. As previously stated, the service is okay but never stellar. Many of the employees seem more interested in talking to each other than paying attention to their tables. But there are a few that do a good job. We keep coming back for the Crabby Fries but with mediocre food and so so service, they have a lot of work to do get me to come back more regularly.

The food at Sportzone is above-average for Smyrna, with decent meals at fair prices and food quality comparable to a Ruby Tuesday's or similar chain. The beers on tap are from large brewers, with nary a microbrew to be had, except in bottles. Loud, large-screen TVs mean that this isn't the place you come looking for a quiet meal - it's the "happening" place to watch the big game. In a small town teeming with bikers and NASCAR fans, this place usually tends to draw large crowds of rustics on a regular basis. The slightly rougher crowd and the occasional promotional beer-girl in cheerleader outfits make this a place you don't really want to bring your kids. Not a huge fan, but I can't say this wouldn't appeal to anyone. Clearly it appeals to the local crowd.

Great little sports bar. Good bar food and reasonably priced. Beer was cold and service was friendly. What more do you want from a sports bar?

A good amount of well placed tv's with plenty of sports on. Good atmosphere & bar layout. Good beer selection. Average to good food with typical sports bar options ( i liked the fried pickles the best). Keep it in mind if your searching for a sports bar in the area. They currently building a patio area.

This is a good bat with decent food. The prices are fair and you receive good quality food with decent portions. They have some great events from karaoke and country night to bike night. My experience with the service has been good.

Their food is so-so and their service is terrible. I live 1 mile away and i want this place to be good so bad, but the service is just unbelievably bad. I just called to place an order for pick up and the girl told me to hold on one minute. She then hands the phone, which isnt on hold, to someone else and says hey theres a take out on hold when u get a chance so i wait. I hang up after 5 minutes and call back to no answer. Ive called back three times to no answer and i can only assume that the line i called in the first place is still open and the call waiting signal is beeping, but there is no one on the line to hear it. I wish i could say this is an isolated incident but something happens every time i go hear or order take out. Food always takes forever, its cold, incomplete and wrong. There is always something wrong with the order even if its just wings.

I have been a fan of Sports Zone (SZ) since they opened. I come about once or twice a year to visit my in laws and SZ is a about a mile away so we were happy to find this gem. Since Deeana left as a manager SZ has declined significantly in atmosphere and professionalism. Tonight we were treated to kitchen staff grinding on a server in the kitchen doorway, a patron ( or maybe an employee off work) came from the dining area after drinking for over an hour drinking her beer in the kitchen, bartenders eating at the bar, no club soda when a grocery store is in the same parking lot, and the bartender couldn't make a drink that was on the menu.

Stopped by from out of town and the food was good and well priced. Staff was friendly but it was a Wednesday and the place was pretty much empty. Beer was cheap and cold, just like me. I would eat here again but I'm not sure if they are busy on the weekends. Lots of TV's on various sport and news channels. Decent place. 4 stars.

My husband and I stopped at the Sport Zone in Smyrna for lunch last week. I had the special chicken Cheese steak with melted cheese onions and mushrooms and my husband had a chicken pecan salad. My sandwich was delicious with a generous side of French fries very good crispy. My husbands salad did not have any chicken in it. When we complained to the waitress she explained that there indeed was chicken in the salad but it was shredded. Well we poured through the salad in search of chicken but alas none to be found. Sport zone change your chicken pecan salad name to pecan salad .... We will likely go back to watch the World Cup but will order something else.

I visited Sportzone on Friday for a going away party with coworkers. its a very traditional all wood decor with a multi-level bar area with stage. While not there for football on sunday, this place's bread and butter. they have multiple tv's and two very large projection screens for football games. the food was pretty good. It's standard bar far, however when looking over the menu, it appears to be a bit large and unclear. i personally would rather have a restaurant that has a smaller menu of really good food, rather than a 4-5 page menu of 30+ ingredients. Where this place got knocked on was on the service. Our server passed my friend more than once with an empty drink and neglected to ask if she wanted another or check in. drink times and service times were easily 10min for drinks and 20 min for food. I would probably go again, but i would prob sit at the bar, it appears that is where the fastest service is at.

Gave this place a second try as a Smyrna resident and I have to say I will never go back. My friend got a tall 23 oz Miller Lite, but I was not able to get my Yuengling in the same size. When I did receive my pint size lager it was in a warm glass. Gross. The chili nachos for an appetizer seriously lacked Queso and Chili and was basically a pile of chips with cold condiments. My Reuben sandwich barely had any meat on it, as it was more of a thousand island and rye sandwich. But the worst were the potato tots I ordered instead of chips. Expecting a childhood throwback I got what tasted like frost bitten tater tots fried in dirty oil that hadn't been changed in a long time. I actually had to spit it out. Then when we stupidly asked about the limited Jamaican frozen banana cocktail, the server said to try it out next time and gave us the bill. Awful service to top of another awful meal at this place. Will NEVER go back!
