Helen’s Sausage House

4866 S Dupont Hwy
Smyrna, 19977
Reviews:
The breakfast sandwiches are a hotdog bun with a fried egg and one or two sausages. The sausages are special made. Crisp casing with a smokey rich taste. Sausages cooked well with the egg to round off the sandwich. Not greasy or oily at all. A little out of the way to get to and a small parking lot but the service is so fast that the turn over is quick. Right off the highway it will come up quickly when driving along so be sure to keep an eye out. The sausages were the highlight and the main point of going to Helens. Rumor has it that at times the sausages they use are available at specific markets nearby. I also decided to try the pork chop sandwich based on some reviews I had seen. It was a huge pork chop with 2 pieces of white bread. No frills or garnishes; just meat and bread. Don't forget there is still a bone in the pork chop while you are eating it and yes the chop is probably twice as big as the bread. A definite place to visit again and again.
Yum doesn't even begin to cover it! I had the sausage gravy over home fries and my fiancé had a sausage sandwich. We both loved our food. The service was quick and personable. We took our food to go, but you can sit in the Elvis room to eat.
Not for the health conscience but all the food is great. Definitely try the sausage if it's your first time and your second try the pork chop sandwich.

The Odd Fellows Cafe

Excellent food and atmosphere ... Highly recommended :) good all fresh made to order, wish I had taken some pictures of beautiful and mouth watering plate arrangements. :)
After living in Smyrna for over three years, we finally were able to cross one item off our bucket list....a meal at The Odd Fellows Cafe. We went to an early dinner, around 5:30 pm, and took one of the few tables left, a two-seater right in the window. What could I not love about this place? It's cozy and warm. You can actually hold a conversation and be able to hear every word. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. Sometimes I will pour over a restaurant's menu because nothing sounds appealing; this isn't the case with Odd Fellows. We both had a hard time choosing due to the fact that so many things were appealing. We started with the crab dip appetizer, which is served with crusty bread. Delicious; my only criticism would be that it could have been more evenly heated (the bottom was a bit hotter than the top, but that was solved by a quick stir, which made the whole thing a good temperature.) We had to ask our waitress for more bread to finish the more than ample portion of appetizer, because we didn't want to waste any, it was so good. It was more than enough for two people, and would make a pretty indulgent meal. For dinner, I had the fish and chips, and my husband had the roast beef sandwich with provolone. The fish was delicious, hot and crunchy, tasting like fish rather than breading or oil. The fries were cooked perfectly and delicious. Huge portion of four pieces of fish guaranteed that I was going to get a doggy-bag! I tasted my husband's roast beef, which was served with a french-dip sauce on the side....perfection. The sandwich was delicious, and the dipping sauce added a wonderful layer of taste to the sandwich, slightly salty with great depth of flavor. Again, the fries were wonderful. We had no room for dessert, and both came home with leftovers to be enjoyed again. The waitresses were friendly, sweet and very attentive. Previous problems about long waits were nowhere to be seen last night; we were seated at around 5:30 pm and had finished our meal by 6:30 pm. Our only wish would be for either a beer/wine menu, or a byob policy. Right now it's strictly soft drinks. But a cold beer with the food would have been wonderful. Kudos to The Odd Fellows! We will definitely be back to try another meal, and probably another and another and another. The prices are a little bit high, but I think it's totally worth it. I'd rather go out to dinner less often and pay a bit more for a meal I know I'm going to love....
Had heard that this cafe was great so I visited with my wife. Turns out the word of mouth was right. Our server was outstanding, knowledgable about the menu and helpful with recommendations. A few bites into my meal I told my wife that this was exactly like something my grandmother would have cooked. That is a high compliment, my grandmother was an excellent cook. Great down home cooking. A hidden treasure in Smyrna. Who would have thought? Try the steak, it is awesome. Their Snapper soup was good as well. Bread pudding was off the chain. Just typing this makes me hungry again. I'll be visiting again soon!

The food came out quickly and was very tasty. My 3yr old son requested something that was not on the menu and they made it special for him!
One of my favorite local places to frequent. Always happy with the food. Be sure to get the Jameson sauce on your mashed potatoes, it's delicious. The boxty's are a great pick. The bacon wrapped asparagus is probably my favorite thing they have. Drinks can be hit or miss sometimes, maybe depending on who's bartending that night.
The food is great every time I have been here. A true Irish Pub. The nachos are awesome. They have these lunch things called boxies that are great. The cornbeef and cabbage is very good the sauce they put on it is amazing. The prices are a bit high but worth every penny. The porch upstairs is a great place to have a few drinks with friends.

Trevi Ristorante

53 E Glenwood Ave

Reviews:
Trevi Ristorante is probably the best sit down restaurant in Smyrna. That being said, there isn't a lot of competition and there are some things they could do to become better. I've been to Trevi once or twice a year for the past four years and have always enjoyed the food. The pizza is some of the best I've had which is saying a lot having lived in New York State for the first 24 years of my life. The entrees have always been great; especially the veal and chicken parmigiana dishes. My new favorite thing to order are their cannolis. These things are huge and incredibly tasty. Their shells are always crunchy and flaky and the filling is light but sweet. Some of the things that I think could make this place better are toning down the decor and hire better servers for more consistent service. There is beautiful stone fountain the the center of the restaurant and a full ceiling mural. While they are both very nice to look at, they are a bit much. The service is somewhat hit or miss depending on when you go and who you get for a server. Everyone who works there is very nice but waiting for refills or getting the wrong food is frustrating. One of the most memorable things about Trevi is that the owner is always there working hard in the kitchen and he's always very appreciative of the people who come in to eat. When he recognized us after just one visit, it made us feel very welcome and is one of the reasons why we continue to go back.
Amazing food. Amazing staff. Well priced. We live an hour away and we will be back. The manager, Mona waited on us tonight and she is the best in the business. The definition of customer service. Bravo to the owners. We will be bringing the entire family next time. I ordered the Manicotti for $10 , huge portion, salad and homemade bread included. Husband ordered meat lovers stromboli for $12 and could only eat half because it was so big ( and he's a big eater) both of us are from Italian families and hard to please with sauce. No complaints. I'm in love with this place.
Unfortunately a miss for us. Out of towners passing through... waitress was very friendly but pizza took so long to come out and we were really disappointed with it. No wood fire taste.. poor quality ingredients for a gourmet pizza.

Ninos Pizza

Reviews:
Great pizza, great mozzarella sticks, great sandwiches, great service. We stop here on the way down to the shore almost every time (that's a lot) and have never had a bad experience. We found the place on a sign on Rte 1 and just got lucky. The waitresses are friendly and they're up for customizing menu choices (for vegans like me), though the menu is already large, and it's cheap for the area. We've never had to wait to be seated and the kitchen is pretty speedy. The inside isn't fancy but is definitely better than a chain. They usually play crooner-stye music. This is a nice choice if you're on 1 and looking for some grub!
We stayed at the Best Western and asked for delivery at 10:45pm. They were there in a flash and the food was DELICIOUS! Chicken Parm, cheese fries and cheese-steak were all very good. The Chick parm dinner was the BEST! I highly recommend this place!
I have eaten here a couple times, mostly delivery. Tonight was the worst meal ever finally causing me to review them. We called kinda close to closing time but the first thing we asked was if they were still able to deliver and if it was too late to order and they were perfectly fine with taking our order. (We are only five minutes down the street from them.) I ordered chicken parm with ANGEL HAIR pasta. I asked if I could get Alfredo on the pasta instead of marinara and was informed it would be an extra FIVE DOLLARS just to get a little Alfredo sauce on the side of pasta. The dinner was delivered, the chicken was extremely dry, barely any cheese on top, spaghetti noodles NOT angel hair, and the garlic knots were cold almost as if they had been in the fridge for twenty minutes. I've had chicken parm from here before and it had been decent. All they had to say was it was too late for a delivery or take out order instead of giving me $20 worth of food that should have been $5. Next time I'll go to McDonald's.

I love their Food and the causal atmosphere.Good service and friendly Staff. The Draft beer is ice Cold and their Prices are reasonable. Every Wednesday they have family Night,Clown and Face Painting. Love it.
Pat's suffers from the same problem that most chain restaurants do...they're just not that good at any one thing. Whether it be sit down or take out, I've been disappointed overall with each experience. When we first move to Smyrna, Pat's was one of the first places we tried and for some reason we keep giving them a chance thinking it's going to get better. The food is okay but inconsistent in temperature and flavor. The pizza crust had virtually no flavor to the point I find myself seasoning it in some way or just not eating it because it'd be a waste of calories to do so. The few entrees we've had tasted like parts of them were frozen and then reheated. When it comes to service, our sit down experiences have never been very good. We're often waiting for refills or having to ask for something that was forgotten from our order. Management walks around glaring at people like this is an upscale place. The decor may say so but the prices and food being served says otherwise. You're a pizza place, get over yourselves. We've gotten delivery twice now and both times the driver came over 15 minutes later than the latest time quoted. We had to call to see what was going on the second time because it was pushing 30 minutes. Nothing but "They should be there soon" was given by the person on the phone. An apology would have been nice. With a bunch of other better pizza places in Smyrna like Trevi Ristorante and Pizzeria DiMeo, there is little reason to visit Pat's.
Pats select in Smyrna, never had any bad experiences. The food is always great, and the atmosphere is great! Definitely top of my list for recommendations to friends while they're in town.

This place has classically good east coast/ Philly style subs and steaks. They are take out only and EXCELLENT!!! It's a fast and delicious meal and although it's not cheap, it's not more than going out to eat.
If I could rate minus 3 stars I would. Staff is rude. They think that the name gives them the right to treat people rudley. The sandwiches are dry and overpriced. With the hidden counter you can only imagine how this ace prepares your food. Go to Subway
Will never go here again , overpriced plus they did my order wrong bye bye capriottis !

This Pizza Hut experience is so much better than the one in Dover, avoid the one in Dover like the plague it is dirty and horrible service. This location is typically clean, the service is pretty quick and the food is what you expect from Pizza Hut. Delivery is usually quick and the driver is normally friendly but unfortunately the food is not always delivered hot, it is pretty inconsistent.
