Our friends found Dog Town and told us how great it was, so of course we made the drive up to check out their food. There is a parking lot right next to the building where you can park. It's a cute little place with limited seating, but we really enjoyed the stool and bar seats at the window. We came in just after a group of 6 had placed their order and there is only one person who works both the register and the kitchen, so we did have to wait for him to start their food before returning to the register to take our order. I ordered the "Fly'n Hawaiian" which is a hot dog with bacon, honey mustard, mozzarella, and pineapple. I was a little weary about how the honey mustard would be on a hot dog, but everything worked really well together. My fiance ordered the "All The Way" hot dog which came with chili and coleslaw which he really liked. We also ordered a side of cheese tots, which I was really hoping would be covered in cheese, but they served the tots with the hot dog with a side of cheese to dip them, which was fine. The tots were awesome and very crispy, even though I was so full I wanted to finish the basket! All in all we really enjoyed coming here and their hot dogs are really fun and imaginative. They also have a monthly dog that changes!

This is a great stop for an inexpensive lunch. The problem is there is only one person taking orders at a time. That means that the lunch "rush" can mean a REALLY long line. It can be annoying to wait 20 minutes to order only to find out they are out of you choice. Its a fun place and the variety of hot dog fixens is fabulous but if you're in a rush at lunch time, I would check the line before I committed.

DO NOT RECOMMEND !! - Major disappointment. - Dining room FILTHY. - Very slow service. - Flies hovering during meal. - Not impressed with half of bratwurst in the "Oktoberfest".

Store was very dirty, flys hovered, unswept floors. We wanted to sit outside but it smelled like garbage. It took 30min to get our order. This is a hotdog place.. When I came inside to ask where are order was the cashier made eye contact and walked away and no body would come to the register. When we finally did receive our food (we both ordered the Octoberfest) I had half of a sausage.. If I thought it would have done any good I would have complained.

Awesome stop during a road trip! Love the selection, hate deciding on just 1. Food was great, I'll be back!!!

Poorly run for breakfast, slow service the cashier doesn't know the menu items, do not go there in the morning for breakfast on the weekends because the staff is not trained on the basic menu that they have very slow did not know how to use the point of sale system go anywhere because if you stay breakfast will turn into lunch

And to begin they have the basics in place: a very tasty and juicy wiener on a buttery grilled bun. And they offer a long list of different toppings to create a specialty hotdog. The photo shows the California dog and the Chesapeake dog with the bite out of the coleslaw topping flavored with old Bay seasoning. I will return to sample more specialty hotdogs from their menu.

Hot dogs and buns were freshly made - however it is very slow. People were friendly. Clean premises.

Tasty, Tasty. To be fair, I love hot dogs. Lots of variety to the hot dogs that available. I have tried several varieties and am always pleased. The tater tots are also good and never taste soggy.

Dog town is a great hotdog joint. Service is quick, food is great. The menu is diverse, you never knew you wanted bacon and pineapple on a hot dog did you. Good choices for little kids too. Dog house is a place to make memories with your kids. Happy to have a place like this in my town. P.S they will deliver to the bar across the street!!

The hot dogs are good, but not the best. I've gone a few times and both times, the hot dogs came to the table warm. I do not expect them to be scolding hot, but would expect them to be better than warm. I love the Nathan's brand hot dogs and generally get them here. Again, they are ok at this location. I think it's a great place to bring kids. If you are a hot dog connoisseur, then this is not the place for you.

Good dog, many varieties. Fries were crisp and like I like them. Give this place a try!

My kids absolutely love this place. They love trying out different hot dog creations. Friendly staff, cute atmosphere. The prices are reasonable and the topping selection is great.

Excellent hot dogs. I didn't try anything but the hot dogs and fries. I had two Nathan's hot dogs and fries. The fries were that crispy kind.

I was SO excited for Dog Town to open in Middletown. In my mind I pictured a Hot Doug's hot dog that was the best I've ever had in Chicago. I thought "I've never really had a bad hot dog, so this place can't mess it up!" I've had some amazing hot dogs all over the country, so I figured this place would rock my socks off. Well, it was bad. Really bad. The hot dog came to me lukewarm!!! How unsafe is that! This place is food poisoning waiting to happen. The taste? Straight outta a freezer. I am not even sure if the dog was 100% beef. No one could answer that behind the counter. My daughter also had mac & cheese...REALLY bad. Not homemade, I'm pretty sure it was kraft mac & cheese microwaved. The chili - also not homemade - straight outta a can from a big box store. Cole slaw on the hotdog? Tasted from a bag. I left nauseous and pretty sure I was going to get food poisoning. I would have spoken to the owner/manager but none was to be seen. Watch out! You do not want to get sick.

Went to Dog Town the other day for lunch. Great experience. Small inside but it's kid friendly and the service is quick. Wonderful presentation and it's evident that the owners and staff are passionate about what they do. Got the coney dog and the Chesapeake. Both were excellent and the old bay slaw on the Chesapeake was quite tasty. I'd go again to try the others! But, where's the Chicago dog?

Good concept, average execution. I've been here twice and both times the hot dog has been almost cold inside just barely room temperature. Never seen it really busy and maybe they are rushing to get the order out so I don't have to wait. I'd rather wait for an extra three minutes and have a hot hot dog and hot chili rather than the lukewarm thing I got. The flavors were pretty good nothing to write home about. A little on the bland/institutional side. First time I tried their tots which were undercooked this time I tried the fries, battered fries, which were nice and hot cooked well but just not my favorite type of french fry. Not likely to return. :/

I looooooove this place! Very creative ideas, and most surprisingly they deliver! Fast, convenient, and delicious. Their prices are also very fair

The dogs were just OK, but the burger tasted frozen and microwaved. The tots were ok, but the fries were not. Not sure if this place can survive on just putting toppings on hot dogs .

I've driven by a couple of times recently and loved the hot dog statue in the front window. So, today I stopped in and had ordered up the kid's mac and cheese for my son with hot dogs pieces for $2.75: excellent price and it came with a drink. As for me, I ordered up the sampler. It came with 4 different versions of hotdogs and a humungous pile of tater tots. The dogs were great! The taters were perfectly country. Frankly, I wasn't expecting much because in this area people stink at making hot dogs, but Dog Town gave me hope. I can't wait to bring the whole family. Yum, yum!

My lunch was lackluster with deep fried food that was soggy with grease. The prices for sides are a bit high in relation to the size and the main courses. I will give them another try considering they have a good image for the town but food quality needs to be elevated.
