Dope restaurant with an interesting selection of seating. Sit at the bar, on the side where the beer taps are. That way, if anyone strolls in and elects to sit on the opposing end of you, you can people watch. It's pretty fun after a few drinks, trust me. Plus, you'll be situated on an higher elevated platform so it'll feel like you're towering over them (in case you elect to go the "do.we.have.a.problem" route). Very unlikely. Fries were pretty memorable, very similar to KFC's wedges. Thick, heavily seasoned and extra crusty. Your friends may reach every now and then so be sure to carry some protection. I love my food so I always do. Also sat in the dining area by the fireplace, perfect for a party. We separated into the cool table and not so cool table. Obviously, we know who won. Chicken wings and crab cakes were enough to make me pack some in my pocket for a late night snack. We had other items but I forget. I blame the Fireball(s) - please note the plural. Attentive staff, always willing to schmooze here and there. They also check up on you enough, without being borderline creepy. The tvs at the bar keep you occupied if you're just looking to drink solo (if you're in the f-the world type vibe). Luckily for me, I love the world.
I am delighted that I found this place. The diversity in the menu was excellent and I also appreciate that they balance that with not trying to offer too many options. They know what they do well and focus on it. The burgers are marvelous! Try the lamb burger, it's just unreal. The ambience of the place is very nice. It's furnished nicely, even has a fireplace they use when it's cool enough. The staff was friendly and attentive without being a nuisance. This is a place I see myself going back to many more times. A great choice if you are in the area.
This is a hidden gem in Middletown. A cozy fire lit pub with a unique menu. We tried the Lobster Macaroni, Chicken Waffles, crab cakes and crab bisque. All were excellent. The only negatives was the dark confined parking lot and trying to figure out how to get into the restaurant. Once you get parked and find the place you'll be glad made the effort. Party of four with the above mentioned food with also fries , salad and soft drinks came to $111.00. Tons of food. Not too bad ! We will be back.

Graham Central Station is the best flavor every! I also like Birthday Cake and Apple Pie flavors. I absolutely love this place especially the Middletown location. It has a beautiful outdoors seating area. One time I called just as they were making my favorite flavor and when I arrived they knew who I was, I got to speak directly to the owner who was extremely nice. I would buy it by the quarts because I had to have some accessible from my freezer.
I tried so hard to find Peach Melba, it's either sold out, or they don't have it. Finally today I get it in Middletown, DE!! No regrets :)
The ice cream is fabulous. The coconut chip and peanut butter chocolate buckeye are creamy and full of flavor. The butter pecan and mint chocolate chip looked delish. We will be back!

Ok the food was good. Or it would have been better if it wasn't cold. We were 4 people ordering not a big party. It took a long time to get our food order and two dif servers took our drink order. We went for breakfast and the fourth person who ordered chipped beef watched his order sit on counter while our chilled as we patiently waited for him to be served his. The temperature in there was like an icebox. This is November I expect heat in a restaurant I don't think it's too much to expect silverware either. A bagel was served after we were finished eating. Sorry wouldn't go back
Stopped here one morning after dropping my daughter off at school. So many times I had driven right by this shopping center and never noticed it was there. I had scrambled eggs with cheese, hash browns and bacon. It was AWESOME! Everything was so fresh (even the toast was good!). I ordered my food take out and took it home and enjoyed every bite. Looking forward to going back again soon. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is very friendly and service is excellent! Try this place! You won't be disappointed!
The Yelp rating made this place seem more decent than it was. Nothing was necessarily bad, but it wasn't great either. The food was Ok. I wondered halfway through my meal if the knife under the table was overlooked or balancing the table, and I'm not sure I ever discovered which was correct. Perhaps my only problem with the place was that staff were eating while cooking my food. Sorry, but that sort of skeeves me out. Especially when you're eating and then drying the silverware with hands that have just touched food. Maybe if that hadn't happened it would rank higher for me. Also, in case you're from out of town like I am, the sign reads "Breakfast A'More," which made it a little hard to find at first.

Back Creek Golf Club Restaurant

Reviews:
Not sure what is going on at Back Creek. The last few times we have been there the food was subpar (e.g. nachos with shredded cheese not the least bit melted, cold fries, burnt grilled cheese, etc.) and the service was very slow. Even had golf carts stored on the patio next to the seating area. Not really what i want to look at while i am eating. Used to be our favorite restaurant in M-town by far. Things seen to be going downhill as of late. Here's hoping they fix what is ailing their reataurant...
For a basic golf club restaurant this place is fantastic. The service is great the food is excellent. I had a crabcake sandwich that's one of the best I've had in a very very long time. I would definitely suggest it.
Love the grill. Drinks are great. We've liked almost everything we haven ordered here. My daughter loves their Caesar salad. Their chicken nachos are awesome and my boyfriend loves their Reuben. My son always gets the triple fried rice. The entertainment is great. It's a great place to go!

Shing Kwong has aways been good for the last 20 years. i do not like the one by Starbucks or the one in crickelwood, they are both very stingy on the meat and obviously frozen veggies. Shing Kwong is the real deal. We have been going here to get our food for our big christmas eve party the last 3 years and have always gotten complements and been very happy. I will always go to your restaurant when getting Chinese food in middletown Chong L

Los Compadres

Reviews:
Every once in a long while you'll find a restaurant so authentic you'd swear it's a secret embassy - a sovereign part of a nation that somehow magically exists in another country. Los Compadres is one of those; a bit of D.F. translocated lovingly to the most unlikely of Delaware communities. This is not Tex-Mex. It is not chain Mexican food robbed of all its glory for the diluted palate of the average ranch-dressing-loving United States citizen. This is comida Mexicana. Alimentos verdad. You'll not be fed wheat tortillas here and told they're "authentic". They have Mexican Coca-Cola - no corn syrup or sodium benzoate. My mate and I went there for lunch and I went back for seconds. It's that good. TL;dr: this is the purest Mexican restaurant I've encountered in the States. Fast, friendly, family service and fresh, delicious taste. Make a point of trying them out.
My family and i stopped in after driving for a couple of hours. I read the Yelp reviews and figured it was worth a try. The waiter was very nice but, like another review said, not smothering. I liked that we could see the food being made fresh, and that it came out in a timely manner. My veggie fajitas were very good, as was my dad's chicken quesadilla and my mom's lunch special. The only complaint I have is that the refried beans were not very hot, although they had an interesting (good) flavor. It's a shame that this place isn't more crowded because I certainly left with a happy tummy!
This place is closed and now an Applebee's, obviously was not as good as the few reviews thought it was

After a tough week nothing beats a bowl of Pho. Number 43 is my personal favorite, with tripe. And the Blue Moon helped.
We took a chance on nhu vu because of the reviews. I agree with the comments about the blandness of the seasoning and lack of spice. My sister in law had the pho and considered it bland compared to others she tries. My veggie fried rice was pretty good. It wasn't greasy but lacked the level of spice I was expecting.
I've had Pho many times and this is my favorite Pho restaurant now. Good service, great food. The bean sprouts were very fresh. We had the spring rolls for our appetizer. I had the #34 and mt boyfriend got the #32. We both loved it. Super clean and we'll decorated. We will be coming back.

Excellent customer service. Every time I go there my drinks are exceptional. The locations is hidden making it hard to find. I would recommend trying the caramel frappuccino and the ice coffee (the best here). We come here all the way from Dover, DE because the only option we have is at Safeway Supermarket and it doesn't compare.
I love this Starbucks! It's almost always a stop on my way home from NYC. For some reason - the iced coffee is freakin' delicious & tastes stronger. The staff is always SO friendly. I don't think I've ever been here without using the restroom as it's usually my first & only stop - & it's always been very clean. Also, this is a drive-thru location, in case you want that. I've never personally been through, but it's available. The staff handles juggling both very well.
Everyone here is really nice - some days it can be slow in the drive through but I'm convinced it is just the store setup! They try to knock orders out pretty quickly. Yum!

I went here for dinner with my fiancé on a Wednesday night. The food was excellent, and the service was spot on. The owner came out and greeted us, and to make sure we were having a nice evening. The dessert and wine recommendations were very nice. This is a great place. Great job.
Food A+, Service B- Had to ask where our salad was after entree was delivered. Several other minor inconveniences.
This review is for the restaurant side. Service was mediocre - food was terrible. Ordered a calamari appetizer that was so rubbery as to be inedible. They remade the calamari with little improvement. Mushroom risotto was overpoweringly sweet - completely overwhelmed the dish and the rice was completely dried out. Chicken Marsala was just ok. Chicken was passable but pasta was cooked to the consistency of baby food. Steer clear.

Ohama Japenese Restaurant

4456 Summit Bridge Rd
Middletown, 19709
Reviews:
Great food with big portions with the sushi. The staff is very nice. I gave it three stars because the restaurant itself is a bit dated and needs some attention. My suggestion is - don't come here if you are looking for a quick meal - however the food is worth the wait. If you do not care about furniture and a nice looking restaurant - you will love this place.
Love me some Ohama. The fact they use whole tuna in their spicy tuna instead of chopping up the unpalatable offs and ends means a lot. The sushi is consistently very good and stands up to sushi I've had across the US and around the world. When I ate meat, I loved the buffalo roll which is beef and cream cheese which will help you get your meat and potatoes non- sushi water in the door. They can be slow, but that's part of the experience and Oak is always happy to share a beer with you while you wait. It is worth a drive to try it and once you do, you'll be hooked.
I love this place. The staff is friendly, always remembers my name and the food is delicious. Prices are comparable with Mikimoto and Potstickers.
