I would give this IHOP no stars if possible!! I ordered a take-out order for breakfast. I called numerous times and it was busy. After five minutes, I got through but wase placed on hold. After being on hold for four minutes, someone disconnected the line. I was pissed, but figured it was an accident. So I called back, someone picked up right away but hung up on me. So I called back, the hostess asked me if I could be placed on hold. Before she actually placed me on hold I told her that I have been trying to place my order for over 15 minutes now and I would not wait. She huffed and sighed and said, "OK-I'll write your order down." We ordered two breakfast samplers-both without sausage, sub bacon, kept the ham, and substituted the pancakes for white toast and rye for the other. My BF went to go pick the order up and the hostess did not even greet him. She sat in a booth and continued to fix menus. A server offered to get his food. He asked if both orders had no sausage, but bacon instead. She said, "Oh yeah, sure." He gets all the way home, and we crack into our food, and go figure-our entire breakfast was screwed up. One had the nasty sausage and the bacon was undercooked. I opened the other package, and it was all bacon, no ham, and of course they gave us the wrong toast. I was gonna just deal with it and eat it, but screw that. After such rude customer service, and spending almost $20 on food we did not like, I called back. Once again, I was asked to be placed on hold. I asked to speak to a manager, another sigh. After being on hold for 6 minutes and 12 seconds, a lady answers and asks how can she help me. I asked if she was management. She said, "No, I'm here to take your take-out order." I explained I was on hold for a manager about a complaint. Another 4 minutes pass, and John, a manager, gets on the phone. He let me explain to him what happened, I stressed how rude the hostess was, and he basically could care less. He offered to re-cook our order. Never once said he was sorry. By this time it was 11:30 am, I was no longer hungry for breakfast and I was damn sure, I would not spend my money here. So I went back to get my money. Another funny part was my BF grabbed the wrong debit card to pay for the food and gave them mine. In clear HUGE, BLACK marker it says "ASK FOR ID!" He's a big guy using a card that says Jennifer. Good job guys! We frequented this establishment and could have understood if they had an off day, but after management not even trying to make it right, I will never go back. This location needs to train their staff on people skills, as they have none!

I really do not like having to put up a negative review but I guess you will not always have a good review. This was my first time going to this iHop and it was last night after 8 PM. It was not busy but not dead either, you know what I mean... I was meeting my wife there and when I arrived she had been there almost ten minutes and was seated and told Justin would be right out. It was more than ten MORE minutes after I arrived and we still had not seen our server or had drinks. Around the 25 minute marker the hostess was just walking by and we said we had not seen Justin. So she stormed off calling Justin's name and we heard a group ruckus next thing we see is our server marching out the door angrily. A few minutes later an extremely pleasant young lady came to serve us. We had breakfast for dinner. My scrambled eggs were cold and seemed to taste like they were sitting since this morning. The scrapple was very greasy. For me the pancakes saved my dinner as they were very good. My wife's eggs were better but she ordered them over medium. Perhaps I should have too. In the end our eventual server was pleasant her service was fast. I was in the restaurant business for 16 years and I realize that after the dinner rush it is pre-closing time and such but my customers were always first. It seemed opposite here as there appeared to be more people cleaning than serving. We will probably try them again and perhaps during a busy period will yield better results.

Very clean and good food... Never a wait to be seated.. Always friendly serice... Just wish they would pick up the pace... Besides that, two thumbs up!

I've been to many I hops over the years especially travling. I can honestly say this is one of the worst places I've ever had breakfast at. Pancakes were flavorless, the butter was so hard cold it ripped the pancake apart trying to spread the butter ! Eggs are rubbery and not real home fried potatoes. Service is a " ZERO" does not exist ! Not the cleanest place around either and waitress looked and acted as if she did not want to be there !

Your typical IHOP food, some items you might find prepared better than others. Fried foods might be fried a bit to long. The real down side is the staff, to me they seem a bit unfriendly and seem to like to rush people when ordering. I have been here about 4-5 times in a 2 year span. Maybe it was just me?

This is the IHOP in Bear De. I'm a little concerned with my visit today as the lemons presented were used by another customer and the waitress was somewhat sloppy with the food preperation and overall Service was slow. Although it was a little bumpy the food was good.

Last night, I called to place an order and misunderstood the person who answered the phone. He laughed like I was stupid. Once I got there, they were whispering to each other and seemed to find something about me funny. I had ordered a swiss cheese omelet with bacon but when I got to work, which I couldn't leave again, I found out I had an omelet with cheese on top but very, very little bacon (though I had ordered double bacon inside) and NO cheese on the inside. This isn't the last time I've had problems there and though I use to go often because it's close, I don't and won't go there.

The first time I went to this IHOP i was excited because I love breakfast food, but I can say with certainty that my experience there was awful and I will never eat there again. When I arrived the place was not busy, there was only a handful of people in there. After ordering the waitress was very rude in taking me and my boyfriends order, but we shook it off and assumed we were overreacting. Our food finally came out and when we started to eat we realized EVERYTHING was cold! The only thing that was hot was the ham they forgot to cook originally. Two thumbs down for both service and the meals.

My family & I love this Ihop!!! We eat there frequently and always have great service. The food is good quality & the prices are very reasonable. And if you go on mon or thurs night they offer buy one get one free!!! Highly recommend!!

The staff was extremely friendly, and welcoming. We were seated right away, on a Saturday morning at about 11:30 AM. It took some time for the waiter to get to the table. In fact, it took about 15-20 minutes for her to arrive, however, she was friendly, and attentive when she did arrive. The food took about another 20-25 minutes to come out. It was a party of four, so I guess that's normal wait time. No one at the table complained, as we were engaged in conversation the entire time. The food was tasty, typical IHOP food. No complaints at all. I would visit this place again.

Easily the worst IHOP I have ever been to in terms of delivering the product ordered. I have been here 3 weeks in a row, 2 as a take-out customer and once as a dine in customer. On all three occasions the first attempt at getting my order right failed miserably. They frequently missed the mark on one to two meal items with each order ranging from my side of pancakes being missing entirely to the fact that the chefs do not have the ability to make eggs as anything more than over hard. To their credit, the food I actually received was great, even for standard issue IHOP food.Their pickup and table service were both good and were definitely tip worthy. Their coffee was hot and fresh, and their syrup was good and plentiful. The pick up service is strange in that the hostess/host man handle your food to make sure it isn't missing anything. I just don't understand why this place can't seem to put together an order of food to go, or even at their table. Why give me a pick up time if you are not going to give me what I ordered? Just add ten minutes on to your estimate, and get me the entire order. How hard is that? Chinese food places do it, and they barely speak English. I digress, I will not be revisiting this location.

Service was unbelievably slow with more staff members than guests. There was 1 cook who couldn't get practically anything right. Took 3 tries to get a burger & fries right, & the international house of PANCAKES forgot the PANCAKES for my wife's breakfast sampler. All in all, should be -1 star.

After a rushed road trip for a special event in the evening, compounded with a deliberate act of starvation as a passenger in the car - I felt the need to stop somewhere, anywhere; and just 'get some fries or something'! That's when we saw her. No, not the golden arches. The red, white & blue sign that exuded familiarity and appealed to my deepest carnal senses. I was in need of protein and starch ASAP. Never mind the antique car show that was in full effect on the grounds in the next parking lot. As much as I love the shiny, metallic paint jobs and retro-chic trimmings; my eyes could not compete with my stomach. How to whet one's appetite: walk in a semi-crowded restaurant and inhale. Smells of maple syrup, fried potatoes and grilled meats wafted through the air. I had arrived, and the only thing to decide was whether I should stick to my quest of getting french fries, or go for the A.M. delights of eggs, pancakes and such. I think I may have frightened the waitress with my expressions of dire hunger pains and distress. She was very polite, and never batted an eye as I rolled off my order without ever really looking at the menu. Cheeseburger and fries, water with lemon. There it is. How original. However, when you haven't eaten for over eight hours, and your brain hurts from repeated daydreams of golden, crispy, lightly salted potatoes.... it's best to stick with what you know will quench your thirst and pacify your hunger.
