Rumor has it that the head chef at Sushi Den left Sushi Den to start this place. I been meaning to check this place out after months of hearing great reviews about it and last night was the night. If you are not familiar with this area the place can be hard to find. It is tucked in the corner of a rundown plaza. I grew up in the area so I knew this was the restaurant that is in placement of the old Jade City Chinese restaurant and I am so glad I finally tried this place out. My boyfriend and I went here last night for a sushi date. Honestly, we were quite surprised how busy the place was for being a snowy night. The place was small, but cute, modern, and chic. They definitely did a lot of renovation to the restaurant to bring it to where it is today. There were two waiters for the night. Both were friendly and attentive. The whole ambiance of the place was great. We ordered the jalapeño sashimi, crispy flower roll, melody roll, colorado roll, baked green mussels, and the kalbi appetizer. My boyfriend was starving and I wanted a taste of everything. For drinks, the waiter recommended the hot plum sake or the hot pineapple sake. I am a big fan of pineapple, but my boyfriend is not so we decided on the plum. It was light and not bad at all. As for the sushi, it is the best sushi north of Denver. It is definitely hard to find a good sushi place outside of Denver. The first dish that was brought out to us was the jalapeño sashimi which is Sushi North's take on yellowtail with jalapeño. I was hesitant at first to try it because the skin was left on the sashimi and I didn't want a potent fish taste. However, it was perfectly executed. It had all the right flavors and the grape tomatoes added sweetness to the dish. The rolls were excellent as well. It was pretty on the plate and delicious on the palate. The mussels were also good. My boyfriend really enjoyed the kalbi which I thought was okay, but weird to have at a so-called sushi restaurant. I think this place is actually a mixture of Japanese and Korean cuisine which is totally fine by me. I am so glad we finally have a good sushi place in Westminster (more like Northglenn).

Pretty high quality sushi joint. My co-worker and I went here on our lunch break. We both like the decor of the restaurant which is kind of a modern and 60's mix. It's funky and trendy. the service was quick and accurate (though we were the only two in the restaurant so that might not always be the case) the food was perfectly prepared and it was tasty. Not necessarily the most flavorful sushi I've had. I wouldn't mind if they added a few more ingredients into some of the rolls they served. I would gladly come here again for lunch and who knows, I might even grab takeout!

Wow! Came in here for lunch and had miso soup, some hot sake and a few rolls. The service was great-we sat at the bar and talked with the sushi chefs, and they were so friendly! We found out that one of the chefs used to work at Sushi Den! We had jalapeño sashimi, the spicy shrimp tempura roll, a spicy tuna roll, tuna belly sashimi, and mackerel sashimi. All were very well put together and had great flavors! We saw the sushi chef put together this "monkey brain" appetizer that looked amazing- a tempura fried avocado filled with tuna and crab meat and then drizzled with spicy mayo sauce. It looked delicious! A great spot to get sushi in the area!

Sorry Sushi North.... I am indeed torn about this establishment. Err, for one, the SIGNAGE for this establishment is a little too small for us to locate.. But with EYES like Microscope we managed to find this establishment in this part of Neighborhood. When we enter, this establishment seems DEAD, Quiet though I cannot deny there are like 2 other Couples dining in, here. That recent visit was on Saturday August 23rd 2014. Time was 19:00hrs ish. When I go thru the Menu, especially the Sushi Menu, the Staff returned to say, "Sorry, we DO NOT have UNI". *SIGH* . From the Menu we ordered the following items : * Kalbi (Appetizer) - Short ribs marinated in a homemade special BBQ sauce ($11.95) As for the Sushi, Nigiri I opt to have the following items: 1st (Round) : * Unagi (Fresh Water Eel) ($6.95) * Tamago (Egg Custard) ($4.50) * Wasabi Tobiko ($5.50) * Amaebi (Raw Shrimp) ($8.95) * Kaibashira (Scallop) ($5.95) 2nd (Round) : * Ika (Squid) ($5.50) * Masago (Smelt Eggs) ($5.50) * Tako (Octopus) ($5.50) * Hokigai (Surf Clam) ($5.95) * Canadian Snow Crab ($8.00) NONE of the Nigiri I choose, tantalize my taste bud in which I was a little sad with mixed emotions aka DISAPPOINTED... I might have forgotten to take the picture of the Wasabi Tobiko. My Bad! *Sad Face* From there on, I ordered the following items since I am still hungry... * Baked Green Mussels - New Zealand green lip mussels baked with spicy mayo, topped with tobiko, scallions and black honey sauce ($7.95) * Dynamite - Scallops, calamari, mussels, shrimp sauteed in garlic butter mixed with Japanese mayonnaise, garnished with mushrooms, scallions & flying fish roe ($8.95) Hubs opt to have the Chicken Cutlets with Salad and Rice. ($16.95)The Portions is Doable, but all is BREADED and DEEP FRIED, place on top of Shredded Cabbage and drizzled with Curry Sauce, the ones you can get pre-made. Hubs did NOT like his order of Chicken Cutlets though he finished the chicken, but not the rice. Hubs was indeed disappointed with his main Entrée. Overall Hubs rated his main Entrée dish as 2 stars - "MEH", underwhelming.. Our server is originally from Korea. If I am NOT mistaken, this establishment might be run by Korean families, coz what makes me all the WAY to go to this establishment is for the KABLI that they offer in their Menu. We opt for KALBI ($11.95) as Appetizers, but it DOES NOT WOW our taste buds at all. What Special Sauce? Err, do not taste special at all. Furthermore, the Kalbi cuts of meat is so tough, and NOT easy to even chew. To make matter worst they don't provide a knife to cut those Kalbi. *DOUBLE SIGH* To return, err, NOT in a hurry. Above anything else, we wish them well in their Business endourverous and undertakings and hope they can progress better in this part of Neighborhood. . As for me personally, its 2.5 stars and 2.75 stars at best coz they have potential to grow in terms of Quality of food, presentation of how the dish is being prepared. The Service is 3 stars. Spent $120.60 with tax, with UNDERWHELMING FOOD. Maybe we came in on a wrong evening or something. Sorry Sushi North. I believe you can do better in other people books with all the glowing reviews. Yes, they have a website that allows you to ORDER Online. But the ONLINE menu DO NOT REFLECT the correct Menu found in the Restaurant itself. i.e. They DO NOT have the Individual Sushi, Nigiri Order Form to view etc. * TRIPLE SIGH* Their operation hours are as following : * Sunday 4:30 PM - 9:00 PM * Monday - Thursday LUNCH: (11:00 AM - 3:00 PM) DINNER : (4:30 PM - 9:00 PM) * Friday & Saturday LUNCH :(11:00 AM - 3:00 PM) DINNER : (4:30 PM - 10:00 PM) SUSHI NORTH 12010 Melody Drive, Westminster, CO 80234 Tel : (303)-452-0202 @166/2014

I finally found him! The best sushi chef in all of Colorado! He's been the head chef at numerous sushi restaurants in Colorado especially the critically acclaimed Sushi Den. He's also been all around the world learning the art and now he's made a place of his own. I've been following this chef every time he's moved restaurants but after Sushi Den I lost all trace of him... I was driving up to Boulder one day when my friends and I wanted something to eat, I recommended some sushi and my friend Yelped the closest sushi restaurant and Sushi North came up as the first result. Good reviews, so we thought why not? We opened the doors and there he was, making artwork in the form of sushi. His food is amazing, not only because he handpicks each fish he uses for the restaurant, but because of the smile and passion he has making each one. It really feels like he makes you his one and only customer. I recommend his sushi above all else in Colorado. Make the drive and if you live nearby you don't know what you're missing out on.

Ungodly expensive for what was received. I've eaten in New York for less! Food was fine, received a soda (but only one - apparently no refills here) for $2.99. Food was about 50% more expensive than normal places. No wonder it was empty. Nothing special though. Go somewhere else and get more for your hard earned dollar.

I have had sushi all over, including fresh out of the ocean in Florida! This is some of the best sushi I've ever had! Service is always great and staff is very friendly!

  • SeungHwan Y.

The best sushi restaurant ever!!!!!!! Even though I've eaten more than 100 sushi restaurants in many countries even Japan, I can certainly say that here is best. You must try here if you want to say "I ate sushi".

Hidden gem! Looks a little creepy outside but beautiful inside! Fish and veggies are incredibly fresh. Atmosphere is great too. Don't have much else to say except come here!

Perfect sushi. Near hotels and very quiet. I was happily surprised - best choice in the area.

  • Lindsay K.

Do not let the looks of the location fool you- this place is amazing. I almost don't want to tell people about it. The sushi rolls are excellent- I've had the Colorado roll and yellowtail rolls, both flavorful without being too rich. The Korean short ribs were easily our favorite here- so flavorful, we could've easily eaten two portions.

This place has the best sushi in Westminster! This place doesn't compare to others. Their rolls are amazingly delicious. I've eaten here several times and is my go-to Sushi spot. They are fast when making your orders to go and when you eat-in. Their staff is incredibly nice and cordial. They don't rush you like other places tend to do and the guys behind the sushi bar are spot on. They offer great conversation and are incredibly friendly. The restaurant is always clean and never out of order. I highly recommend this place!

My absolute new favorite sushi in all of denver. Chef hand picks fish at the market almost daily and brings in superb selections. The albacore melts in your mouth. Fresh uni and aji, which most places inland don't dream of trying to sell, are there ready for consumption. Our chef had extensive experience at sushi den and acclaimed restaurants around the world. He was so kind and gracious. This is truly a hidden gem. We can't wait to go back.

Ok, this was our 1st time here and we were very pleased. We'd been searching for good sushi since leaving Boulder county last year - and this was very good indeed. Nice atmosphere too.

Sushi was awesome!! I will start off with saying that. I ordered the Spicy Crunch California Roll and I loved it. If you are focusing on Sushi for your lunch/dinner needs then this is definitely the place. We ordered the Assorted Tempura as our appetizer and it was okay but could use some improvement. The service was good, but could have also been better. We ordered a bottle of wine which took our waiter a good 10 mins to bring....I'm not sure why, we were literally the only ones in the restaurant at the time. Overall, I would recommend this place to all you Sushi lovers.

A very tranquil stylish place. The staff are very friendly and I felt relaxed as soon as I walked in. We ordered the firecracker, the Melody roll ( w/o eel sauce due to an allergy in the party) the Red Dragon and a yellowtail nigiri order. Everything was great however I wasn't too impressed with the Red Dragon. It was billed as spicy but it lacked spice and flavor. The fresh tomato, bell pepper, and cilantro that accompanied the firecracker was an amazing combination. I enjoyed the Melody roll however I should've asked for the eel sauce in the side as I didn't get the full experience. I ordered the yellowtail as a test to the quality of fish. Very flavorful and fresh. I definitely recommend this hidden gem in the Northglenn/Westminster border area. I will be coming back soon! Thumbs up!

This is my first time here and loved it. The sashimi was fresh and the plate presentation was five star. We also had the Yakisoba it was also very good not to heavy and great flavor. The last thing was the sunshine roll a great end to a great lunch. If have a chance stop in. We will be back here often.

I have rarely eaten anywhere that afterwards I didn't have anything to say. All I can say is this was perfection. That's it perfection. If you don't try this place out your life will somehow be less.

By far the best sushi I've had in the Broomfield area. Everything was super fresh and delicious. The service was excellent and fast. If you are looking to have some great food...come here. Sushi North doesn't disappoint. We will be back.

We found this place on YELP. food was very good but the portions were small and expensive.. I would have rated it 3 $!! We were the only ones there so I can see why.

Easy to find easy to order and tasted amazing! We fell in love with the"monkey brains" and the North Sushi Roll was excellent.

Who Knew this Little Gem was in Westminster in a Very unassuming Shopping mall?? I finally stopped in after wanting Sushi and not wanting to head downtown. Lychee Martini started my list for drinks, and it was delicious. Then I switched to Sprite and without hesitation it always stayed full. Seaweed Salad and came with Free Wonton Soup. Both were spot on. And I love Seaweed Salad. On To the Sushi Rolls. Delicious and a good Rice to Fish ratio. Great Presentation and the Fish is fresh. Price point is on par with other places in the Denver Metro area. I will keep this place in mind. And the Friendliness of the Staff cant be beat.

This is a great sushi place! It's hidden and looks a little sketchy from the outside appearance. But don't let that get to you, once you walk inside and try their food your opinion will be changed. The interior is modern, clean, and well lit. The staff was very nice! But the service was slow. There were only 3 tables of guests (including us) but it still took 15min to get a drink. However, my green tea mojito was delicious. The heart attack roll was fantastic, my favorite roll that I've tried here. We had a spicy crunch roll and the red dragon roll as well. They were both good, but they didn't really stand out as "great" to me. I'd definitely like to go back and try a few different rolls.

This place is a hidden gem! Some amazing sushi and very nice and quiet ambiance. Hidden behind a Wendy's this is some of the best sushi I've had in Co. Highly recommend it!!

My husband and I shared the Sunshine roll and monkey brains, both of which were fabulous. The fish was fresh and the green tea was wonderful. We have been to a few sushi places, so far this has been the best.

  • Samir S.

Wow what an amazing sushi joint. I have to say a complete surprise. It is in a middle of a little mini mall and in a land locked state. But wow the fish tasted very fresh and service was pretty good for a small mom and pop place. Went with the waiters suggestions for the jalapeño shashimi and the tuna roll, forgor the name of the speciality roll just know it had a bunch of tuna in it. Both were amazing. If I am in the area will definetly go back.

  • Thieny T.

So lucky we stumbled upon this sushi restaurant while driving through the area. Just like the other reviews mentioned, don't let the muted and drab exterior fool you....the interior of the restaurant is clean, well decorated and has great ambiance. We tried several types of sushi tonight and every single item blew us away! Plate after plate rolled out with beautiful presentation, and fresh, artfully crafted sushi. The fish was high quality and very fresh. Bottom line: if you like fresh, well-made sushi, this is definitely worth a try.

  • E C.

Mediocre, at best, but certainly not bad. More than anything, Sushi North ranks low on the quality to value ratio. I don't mind paying prices like those ($$$) if I'm getting truly high quality sushi. But this is far from high quality. I will not go back to this place.

  • Caitlyn H.

If you haven't been here yet, do yourself a favor and eat here! Sushi was amazing, company was amazing, one of the best night my husband and I have had eating out in a long time. We ended up staying for a long time and talking to the owner/head sushi chef and found out he hand picks his fish, he's amazing with a knife, and loves sake. We will be back as often as we can!

  • Amanda P.

My friend took me to Sushi North while I was visiting. Go there, it's great! Front row parking, friendly greeting, prompt & wonderful service and yummy food. I had the Colorado roll which was yummy. Their house salad--on point! And my friend got the sweet potato roll and garden roll.

  • Andy B.

Slowest service and some of the worst tuna I think I've ever had in almost 30 years of eating sushi. I hoped for so much more due to the other reviews but was very disappointed.

  • Mike S.

Very classy sushi restaurant with a great ambiance, decor, service and menu. Very clean restaurant with trained sushi chefs, so you'll love their sushi menu. The Chicken Teriyaki lunch is very proportional and reasonably priced.

Amazing!!! I have been looking for a sushi bar for months and found wonderful reviews for Sushi North. I really enjoyed everything we had.

  • Ed M.

This place is definitely worth the trip. Came onto yelp to find a good sushi joint close to home. We were skeptical at first but were surprised once our food arrived. The Colorado and House rolls were our favorites. The kids teriyaki plate was also good, our 2yr old scarfed it all down. Finally, the service was just as good and prompt. Will be back for sure!!

  • Sarah D.

What a hidden gem! The ambience is not sushi den but the food is! New style salmon, jalapeno sashimi, white tuna sashimi, it was all perfect!

    (5)
  • Jennie C.

Amazing, amazing, amazing enough said The staff are friendly and welcoming. The sushi chef's are fast and professional. The food is fantastic! And reasonably priced especially for a sushi restaurant. I had my 18 month old with me and they didn't give me dirty looks as some places do when he decided to hum along with Winnie the Pooh. Thank you for an amazing meal we will be back :)

Not going to get wordy but damn this place is really good. The best in CO and up there with the best sushi I've had anywhere. Service is solid too.

  • Mike O.

I really enjoyed this place. The sushi was fresh and delicious! The wait staff was really friendly and the service was great! The sushi was executed well and the presentation was beautiful, almost too pretty to eat. I'll definitely be coming back to this restaurant!

  • Gilliane L.

My friends and I went there, and their service leaves much to be desired. One of my friends arrived after we did and the server didn't even take her order until she brought it up and we had to place our empty glasses on the corner of the table so he would come and refill it.

Holy wow! I finally found my default sushi spot for this area! I've tried them all around Broomfield and never quite hit the mark. First a disclaimer- I am not a traditionalist when it comes to sushi. I love the new age and crazy when it comes to my rolls. I usually try anything with fruit or some kind of variation of a normal roll to make it spicy or sweet. That said- this places menu is unique and puts a spin on normal rolls. We tried the house roll, colorado roll, Las Vegas roll, unagi roll and cheesy roll. They also have a decent drink menu. Service was fantastic, energetic and friendly. The Chef has so much pizazz (yes pizazz is the word I picked.) He was such an entertainer- he'd shout like the guy on iron chef- too cute! The ambiance is great- and reminds me of how a lot of new age sushi places look/feel. They played EDM and had funky lights and cushy chairs- again totally goes with my vibe in a sushi joint. Lastly- when they brought out the check- the chef had carved us out an orange that was utterly adorable.

Best sushi ever!!! Seriously, the sushi here is AMAZING. Everyone should give this place a try. When we first came in we thought "there's no one here, that's not a good sign" but we were wrong. We had the Colorado roll, Sushi North roll and others and a couple of soups. Every bite was delicious! You can find cheaper sushi restaurants (it is a little over priced) but if you want a delicious sushi, this is the place.

  • Jessica M.

I just tried Sushi North for the first time. I was impressed. I consider myself to be a bit of a sushi snob, so I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered a few of the special rolls in addition to some nigiri and sashimi, all of which were quite delicious. The Colorado Roll and the Sunshine Roll were my favorites - really tasty. The fish was also very fresh. The service was friendly and attentive. I also liked the decor - fun and upbeat! My only complaints were that the edamame appetizer came out after our first sushi rolls and my hot tea wasn't actually very hot. Overall though, I liked Sushi North and will definitely be back.

  • Jin L.

Honestly.... WOW, this place deserves 20stars~! This place is so friendly and its quality after quality with all of their fishes. Nigiri, Sashimi, rolls and kitchen food all taste better than what you are paying for! This is the sushi place to go in Colorado. In my opinion, this place tastes better than sushi Den... Give it a go if its your first time. You wont regret it...

  • Todd M.

Absolutely delicious sushi in the North Metro area...who would have thunk it? Just off I-25 on 120th, this restaurant is highly recommended. No frozen fish; the presentation matches the flavors, reflecting a high attention to detail. Check them out.

  • Jubilee Z.

The outside of this place is deceptive. It looks dark and a little uninviting but after looking to try a new sushi place with a friend, we decided to try here. Once you walk in, you find that the outside does not match the inside at all. Inside is modern, romantic, bright and cheery all at the same time. More importantly, the food. It's beautiful. We eat with our eyes first and the sushi chefs do not disappoint. Gorgeously displayed, the fish is admired before consumption. Upon first bite, you know you've found a gem in the middle of strip mall. We'll be back!

  • Tanya K.

An unfortunately disappointing experience. Dry slightly crunchy rice. Nothing stood out. The wait staff were hiding, I was sat, then ignored for 15 minutes. When they took my drink order and my marked up sheet for my order they took rather long to bring me a half full glass of iced tea. Upon delivery of the miso soup I didn't see another waiter for the rest of my visit. The two sushi chefs behind the bar were pleasant, but could not keep up. I waited way to long to get two pathetic, tiny rolls which had about the equivalent of a minnow's worth of fish in them, and four pieces of nigiri, two salmon, two eel, which were some of the thinnest slices of fish I've seen without it being carpaccio. 35 dollars poorer for my sad underwhelming appetizer of a meal. I won't go back, there are better, cheaper sushi places within a few minutes drive but I figured I would try this place after reading great reviews.

  • lek t.

Wow. I haven't had sushi this good before. It's more of a modern type sushi and it absolutely blew my taste buds away. The two special rolls we ordered were monkey brain and red dragon. The monkey brain came with a lot of avocado, which got me a little skeptical since I'm not too big of a fan of avocado, but wow; The flavor blended in so we'll I rarely noticed. The red dragon was amazingly fresh, I refused to use soy sauce with it. Best sushi I've had yet. Even the green tea was a 10/10. The service was excellent, the server was on point every time, but there wasn't many people here at the time, so who knows how it is when it's busy. Great work!

This is a great sushi restaurant!!! Don't look at the bad reviews, there either employed by other sushi restaurants in the area or just complete snobs. I have visited this restaurant three times now and it has been great. Most recently 2/20. This is my first review in yelp of any restaurant. Hopefully this helps. They had Uni the night we went and the Toro was awesome!!!!

I know chef Joe san from the Sushi Den where we worked together and I was very excited to hear he opened a sushi restaurant on the north side of Denver. After working for one of the countries best sushi places for 12 years his experience comes through to a tee. The fish quality was very impressive and his dishes are traditional with fresh twists. It's so great to have a high quality sushi place on the north side of Denver. I highly recommend trying it.

This is my first Yelp review. I've been a yelp leech and have benefitted greatly from reviews written by others. Such was the case with Sushi North so I decided I should add my thoughts on this one. I happened to be in a nearby hotel but the staff there didn't know anything about the restaurant other than "it's pretty new". So I turned to Yelp, found great reviews and had an amazing meal that I would have missed out on if not for the advice of Yelpers. I don't know sushi well enough to say it's traditional or not or compare it to world renowned sushi restaurants on the coast, etc. but I know what tastes good and fresh and this does. I had miso soup, firecracker roll, smoked salmon nigiri, calamari tempura roll, and two Asahi beers for about $40. I would not say it's cheap but I will say the value received is HUGE. I can recommend everything I had and can't wait to try other menu items. Sushi North guys: Take a plate of food out and spread the word! Other reviewers are spot on that this place won't jump out in front of customers due to your location. The desk staff where I stayed were happy to be able to pass along my recommendation of your restaurant...imagine how much more enthusiastic they'll be once they've tried it for themselves. Everybody else: Go there, dig the place, dig the vibe, love the food! Support a small local business that rocks fresh food.

Great sushi! Nice decor. Service was a little slow, because they only had one chef. Good prices. They sent out a free Orange Panda for dessert; a Grand Marnier infused fresh orange. We will return!

We LOVED this place. Awesome Service and AMAZING Sushi! The Sushi North Roll was to die for! We have been back twice and will come back for more! They serve the cutest panda orange for dessert. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!

There is nothing here for me to recommend to you, and I tend to try to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt. It is owned or at least managed by Koreans, so they have some Korean dishes on their menu - something we've missed since China Pho went away. However, to get one of the Korean dishes (which are nothing to jump or yell about) you have to pay well over 15 bucks a plate. The sushi is "fine". the problem is, it's one two two dollars over the cost per roll from most other places. Taht would be ok, if you were getting amazing, fresh of the fresh, best of the best. but you are getting "fine". We ended up with a bill for over 50 bucks, for 6 pieces of shushi, one dinner, and 2 basic drinks (non alcoholic). For that cost we could have done Sunday's "all you can eat" at Nobu by Slone's lake. if you don't mind over priced, you'll get a "ok" "fine" dinner. but why bother with so many other asian and sushi near by?

This place is near my office, in a very sad little strip mall behind the Wendy's. I think three businesses have been in this place since I started working over here. But I really, really hope this one can go the distance. I'm no expert, but I've had a fair amount of sushi over the years, some of it much more expensive than this place, and it's consistently among the best sushi I've ever tasted. The fish is so fresh it almost seems impossible so far from the ocean. Nothing but smooth, rich bites of deliciousness. I haven't even tried any of the elaborate rolls chef/owner Jo has come up with. Please check this place out and spread the word, I'm sure they have to fight their location. It's about 20 minutes north of downtown, and well worth the trip.

Was craving sushi so decided to come here and try it out for dinner. Upon arriving we were greeted and asked if we wanted to sit at a table or bar. At first we, my wife and I said table then changed our minds and went to the bar. After placing our order we watched the chefs make our rolls. Joe-san (i believe was his name/main sushi chef) was very nice. Got into a conversation with him because he was a former sushi chef of sushi den in denver. His specialty sashimi yellow fin dish was superb. The roll with the lemon slice (pictured) was not overwhelming by the lemon juice and very tasty. The spicy crunch roll was one of the better crunch rolls i've had.

This is THE place for Sushi! The rolls were too good to describe, you just have to try this place! The presentation was superb, the food was unbelievably delish. We will definitely be back. Glad we discovered this place. A great ending to dinner the chef sent over a beautiful desert. The art of making Sushi very apparent in this awesome restaurant.

Fantastic Sushi! My experience with sushi restaurants is lots of rice, and thinly sliced fish. This place is the exact opposite! The fish is fresh and generously served with the perfect amount of rice. The atmosphere is laid back but classy, definitely a MUST GO!!

Excellent sushi bar. Very friendly staff and the nigiri and hand roll were excellent. I also had the Denver Roll (cucumber wrapping instead of rice), which was wonderful. One surprising note was when the server asked me if I liked the soy sauce. It turns out that they make their own. Very light and not too salty. Overall, a great lunch and I will be going back shortly.

I hail from Florida where we have awesome fresh seafood and have been unable to find sushi that met my taste since I've moved up here. This place is fantastic. Perfect sushi. Fresh flavors. Fantastic folks. Plus, it's a beautiful atmosphere. I'll be back!

Great meal at Sushi North. Jo is definitely one of my favorite sushi chefs and I am excited he has opened up a place up north. Sushi is great as is the kitchen foods. Will be going back soon.
