Pizza Ranch Menu

Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

We ate here yesterday for lunch. My kids and I are gluten free so we were excited to know they had gluten free pizza! It was so yummy. My husband had the buffet and was really impressed with the choices available.

Don't bother! This place is a joke, and an expensive one at that. The chicken is super dried out, the pizza is about Totinos frozen quality. I would expect better for the price you pay. The staff is mostly older teenaged kids who don't invest much into quality, but then again why would they? The company doesn't give them much to work with anyway so why should they care. Save your money and time.

I am not sure what I expected but the place was not good. I have had better pizza at a convince store at 3:00 am. Instant mashed potato's soggy corn and chicken that was slightly better than King Soopers deli fried chicken at closing time!! I am not sure how the place is still open but it is defiantly not the quality of the food. I will say that the desert pizzas were tasty but that was about it.

So I googled them to see their hours and it said they closed at 9:30 PM. It was about 8:30 PM so I figured I would be good to go...not too close to close where buffet food isn't very fresh. I arrived at 8:40 and paid and then the cashier told me they closed the buffet at 9:00. I said Google and the sign on the door said 9:30. She stated the buffet closes at 9:00 but you can order off the menu in the last half hour. Why is this, it's a buffet. Anyways, the food didn't look fresh at all and I asked for my money back. The manager didn't seem very apologetic either. I went there because they supported a local tennis tournament and maybe next time they should stay away from the advertising if they are just going to disappoint.

If you like to eat cardboard with some sauce and cheese on it I guess this is the place for you. Reminds me of something that came out of the frozen food section of a cheap grocery store. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

The nastiest most disgusting food I've ever spent $30 on. Terrible chicken fingers, chicken pizza and wedges. NEVER EAT HERE!!!!!!!!!!! I literally donated $30.00 to this establishment while discarding the horrible food.

  • Ray S.

Ample seating, freshly stocked buffet. They will make any special order upon request. Super friendly and attentive staff. Pizza isn't great but fried chicken is amazing! A little on the pricey side but I love the family friendly, Christian, western atmosphere.

  • Shel G.

This is your typical pizza buffet with more choices, better salad bar and ability to request a pizza! If you looking for Papa Johns, Pizza Hut or Dominos - this is not it! But this place is better than the usual pizza buffets, don't take my word for it, drive by and see the parking lot!!! They have been packed EVERY night since they opened

Stopped in at the Pizza Ranch for dinner with the college kids. We where going to go to Old Chicago, but wanted to try something different. This was different all right. The pizza was as good or better and the price was much cheaper. So different in a really good way. I did not read any reviews until we were seated and waiting on our pizzas. I don't get it. Yes, Christian. Is that a bad thing? It sure was not obvious. In fact, I did not figure that out until after reading a couple of reviews. We noticed Christian music was playing. Not loud and definitely not in your face. My wife cheerfully sang along to the songs she knew. The rest of us barely knew the songs where playing. Their mission statement is posted on the wall close to the register. We did not see it until we were leaving. Yes, it has the word 'God' in it. Don't remember much else, I could look it up, but don't need to. Since the statement helps them put out good food in a very clean and friendly atmosphere, then I am all for it. Someone said the restaurant was dirty. Not our impression. Very clean, everywhere. Someone said the pizza was not good, something about freezer crust. Really?! how did I miss that. I don't think I did. The pizzas we had were great. We even changed one up a little and they had no problem making it the way we wanted. There was a small problem with one of our pizzas. Their fault, they discovered it and fixed it. No hassle. We really like this place and hope they will continue to do well. We will definitely be back.

My fiancé and I decided to try pizza ranch last night, but I wish we would have just stuck with Dominos or Black Jack... If you would like a good colon cleanse then this place will work nicely for you; otherwise I would avoid it. My fiancé and I were fighting over the bathroom all night, unfortunately. Just for a reference, we got the California chicken pizza and the dessert cactus pizza. The dessert pizza actually tasted pretty decent but the pizza was bland and the chicken did not taste good at all. It also tasted like frozen crust. Not somewhere I would recommend...

I went to try the Pizza Ranch the other day and I was not impressed at all. Pizza here is disgusting. This place uses pre made freezer pizza crust and very low quality ingredients in their pizza. None of the pizza I had was any good at all and I tried almost every kind they had out on the bar. Name brand freezer pizza you get from the grocery store is as good or better than here. Their salad bar is bland and their other offerings are pretty pathetic.... A few caned veggies, instant mashed potatoes and some really dry fired chicken. The only thing good is the desert pizzas but the desert pizzas at most other pizza places that offer them are better. The price is also high considering other chains in town with good pizza that offer a pizza bar that is much better. On a side note.... Yes this is a christian chain/company etc.... My review is on the food and the food alone. This was not taken into consideration when giving them my review.

Hard to complain about a pizza buffet. My wife and I visited on a Sunday afternoon and got a few afternoon slices. They have a good selection, and chicken is available as an alternative to pizza. On our second visit, the manager offered my wife and I a complimentary soft drink while we waited for our to-go pizza to finish cooking. I expect to be back, or calling for a delivery in the near future. I admire their spiritual boldness.

  • Jessica D.

You can order from OrderUp to have pizza delivered to you. The pizza is ok, nothing great, but the dessert pizzas are pretty awesome. That can't make up for all mediocre pizza and constant issues I have when ordering. I've ordered from them three times, and each time they have screwed something up. If something bad happens once, no biggie, we all have bad days, but three orders and each one had something wrong with it. That's not a bad day, that's incompetence.

Arrived at 11:00 Sunday when they first opened. Not one single piece of Chicken showed up on the buffet until 11:30. We had inquired at 11:15 and were told they were having problems with their broaster. Well - interestingly enough my wife peeked through their window to the kitchen to see them pull a big basket of Chicken out of the fryer about 11:20 or so, and still no chicken on the buffet for another 10 minutes.. At 11:30 they brought out about 10 pieces of Chicken with a lot still back in the kitchen. At least a half dozen people were circling the empty Chicken stations. We took a couple of pieces and they were obviously not from that batch - they were lukewarm. Manager showed no concern to customers complaints and seemed pre-occupied visiting with the lady working the drive through. We used to love this place - but it seems to be going down hill quickly. In the 45 minutes we were there not one person took the empty dirty plates off our or any nearby tables. Looks like everyone now gets the small "water" cups even when purchasing a beverage - guess this is an attempt to cut down on the soda consumption. Sad to see this place going down hill so soon after opening...

Pizza Ranch in Loveland is hit and miss. Once I went for dinner during the week. The chicken was on the dry side, and some of the pizza had seen better days. Luckily, we ordered a pizza that wasn't out, and it was pretty delicious! I went on a weekend for lunch, and it was really good. The chicken was moist, the pizza was fresh, and everyone was friendly. In other words, it is hit and miss.

Yet another Christian based company. Kinda in your face as you make your way to your table. Staff are a little on the young side, somewhat friendly. This is it, folks! Your typical buffet! This place is a perfect picture of why we eat so bad as Americans. It's dirty. It's sticky. Ya got unattended kids running around in different directions, touching the food (think Lord of the Flies). Did I mention it was dirty? I saw a napkin on the floor by the drink station. It was still there by the time we left 45 minutes later. Never once did I see anyone that came close to looking/acting like management. The food was horrible! Pizza was down right disgusting. I had better pizza at a Chinese Buffet. Fried chicken was over salted. And ya gotta try the instant mashed potatoes! Yummm! The only thing edible was the pizza deserts. The Cactus Bread was actually pretty good. I don't mean to sound rude but I really hope this place shuts down so we can get something better and more nutritious to replace it. Loveland really needs it!

Our family loves this place!! Staff is always friendly, the food is delicious and the place is so clean!!

  • Ryan H.

Pizza was alright, atmosphere was dirty and not well kept. The fresh cheese bread was the best part of the entire meal. I am not sure why everyone raves about the fried chicken, it was salty and tasteless.

    (3)
  • Amy H.

The food is delicious... Their fried chicken is one of my favorites! They have a lot of choices and all very good, including the salad bar. Service is great!! And I LOVE the CHRISTIAN MUSIC!! One of my favorite places in Loveland!! :)

We decided to give this place a try tonight, it was very busy during dinner. First the salad was bland with barely anything to add on it. Just straight from the supermarket packaged salad folks. Next the pizza- looked decent but the taste was simply bland and dull. Tried several different kinds and they all were poor quality. Seemed like they should be charging half the amount for this bad of quality food. Had one piece of chicken and it was also bad. The only thing that was half way good was the desert pizza and ice cream. My wife even had a stomach ache before we left because the food was so poor. The country themed cheesy set up inside is not for this era either.

    (1)
  • David P.

The staff was very friendly and the deserts were decent. The pizza was absolutely disgusting and the salad was boring. Oh, and it's way overpriced for what you get. Waste of time and money.

    (1)
  • Cate B.

I like the pizza. These people are crazy, because its not smothered in grease they think it's bad apparently. You can taste the cheese! Its flavor. Start delivering to west Loveland!

  • Katie W.

Just awful. The staff was friendly, but the food was disgusting. We were really hoping this was going to be good, so we are disappointed.

  • Jeanette R.

This was the worst pizza well right up there with chuckie cheese. They were out of so much stuff and I know they are newly opened so I understand they are just getting use to the flow but the food just tasteless. Everything tasted like frozen food. Sorry had high hopes for this but was such a wast of money.

Just ordered a to-go large 'Stampede' (everything) pizza from a coupon we received in the mail. Waited about 10 minutes. It tasted delicious. Seriously delish. The service was EXCELLENT. I'd come back for that alone!

  • Jackie H.

We were impressed. We went last week for our first time and everything was fresh and delish!! We will be going back. Cute set up inside and out, again very impressed.

  • Jimmy P.

Will NEVER go to this establishment again. Besides having branding from the 80's the food is subpar. The pizza is similar to CiCi's, Chuck e Cheese, and various other frozen varieties. Maybe this wouldn't be such a big deal except it costs the same as higher quality pizza such as Beau Jo's... Crazy!

    (1)
  • Gil L.

Pizza is OK not great. Many different varieties offered so that's a plus. The fried chicken is GREAT.It must be pressure cooked because it is so moist. They usually have homeade fried potato chips on the hot bar,mac cheese too. Salad bar not bad has everything I want on my salad. And they have multiple choices for dessert.Fruit topped and they call it cactus bread,!!!, and Ice cream. You can do a lot worse in this town than a dinner here .

  • Jay D.

Called today for delivery. Girl on phone was very nice and polite but indicated the delivery limit is two miles. TWO MILES. anything over and they will not deliver. You've got to be kidding me. Seems like after the newness wears off, we're going to see another empty building. Thank goodness the competition delivers.

  • Kevin C.

I have to agree with most of the reviews here, I am a pizza connoisseur and enjoy a great pizza, this simply is not it. Everything was just bland and just substance, nothing stood out until later on when my I got a stomach ache and that does not happen to much with me. I had some pizza cheese sticks and BBQ chicken, even the ice cream was just plain boring. Just another pizza buffet place like Ci Ci's but twice the price and not even half as good. I had high hopes for this place, oh well plenty of great pizza places closer to my house anyway.

  • Gary B.

Been a few times and people are always friendly. People must remember its a buffet and better than most buffets you go to. The chicken is good and great salad bar. They will make you a pizza of your choice if your request it. Found it clean and they pick up the plates very quickly when you finish. The pizza is good and not greasy. Cakes are very good. They have different sides. Each time I went, it was very clean. If you see kids running around that's the parents fault not the restaurant. Good price for all you can eat.
