Come here for the breakfast burritos. They don't mess around. VERY decently sized. My fave: Breakfast burrito with carne asada- Pick choice of tortilla, (spinach) Cheese, Eggs, Potatoes, Pick choice of Meat, (carne asada) Pick choice of salsa, (mild) Extras-(get ranch). Subtracted one star because the staff is sometimes no where to be seen when I walk in.

Would love to give them 0 stars. This place is disgusting. The tables were all dirty, every surface felt sticky or greasy. I ordered a veggie burrito, and the kid said, "it's gonna take a little bit, I have to cook the veggies" which I was fine with. Then another guy came to cook them, they were laughing about how they would be ready in 20 minutes, and one minute later a bunch of raw veggies were in my burrito. Everything in the steam table was dirty. Dressing bottles and dispensers were dirty. My mom ordered a burrito that left a pool of water dripping out the bottom. Disgusting disgusting disgusting. AVOID THIS PLACE.

I live in LA, but when I come home, I come to Big City Burrito (and Trevor is always there to say "Welcome back!"). I went to CSU and was well-acquainted with the Ft. Collins store, but this location is my go-to now (I'm originally from Loveland). I love all the fillings- started young with the chicken mole and am now obsessed with their awesome carnitas (so flavorful!). Add seasoned potatoes for a perfect combo. If you like hot, go with Lupe's salsa, and cool it down with the best ranch I've ever had. To the guy who compared BCB to chipotle: if you want chipotle, go there. Don't go to a completely different place expecting the exact same thing. And Big City is better anyways, so there.

This place failed me. I ordered a carne asada burrito with cheese and vegetables. Carne asada translates to "grill meat" and is usually marinated. This was neither. This meat was boiled and without seasoning. The vegetables were also flavorless. Cheese and tortilla were fine, but the thing was falling apart. Try steaming the tortilla so it sticks together. Try using seasoning. Try something different.

This place is great! They have a plethora of choices and the burritos are giant! The service was very friendly and fast! The prices are about average for burritos of this size! I was very impressed and will be back!

We had dinner here tonight. Only two young guys working and one seemed like he didn't have a clue on what he was doing. Ordered a chile verde burrito and the wife had a chicken mole burrito. Both burritos were small compared to other chains. Rice was flavorless, pork was fair, the beans were hard and seemed like they were not cooked enough. Best part of the whole burrito was the tortilla. Very disappointing meal, we will not be returning. Not sure how this place stays in business with such mediocre service and food.

Good food, but Big Sh*tty service. Ask for something, and the guy will give you the exact opposite. Screws my order every time, and is always rude, and acts annoyed. I'm not going back. The pricing is always inconsistent as well.

This is the only Big City I really like. The others never seem to be as consistent with the portions or the flavors. I always get their potato burrito with carnitas. They give me tons of salsa and plenty of toppings. The food is a 4.5. The only thing that is really weird to me is that I have never been charged the same amount every time I go there. I have no clue how they are charging me and it drives me crazy. I wish I knew how they even figure things out. Good food. Way better than the FoCo or Windsor location who seem like Big City snobs to me.

The food is not that good, the service stinks, and that old woman in there is a bitch from hell!! The last time I was in there the pork was under cooked and they try to charge me double . Over all they should be put out of business

Overall, pretty terrible. If you're looking for something comparable to chipotle or illegal Pete's you will be disappointed. The food was bland and the carnitas were dry and flavorless. I did not try the salsa so I can't speak to that. Service was good, but I probably won't be back.

My wife and I go here all the time, mainly for the breakfast burrito. We've always had a good experience, and it's a good chunk of food for the price.

We tried it again. The service was much better but there was a big black bug drowned in the sour cream in the middle of one of the burritos. YUCK!!!! We don't love the food so much any more after that. Love the food. Service--not so good. We ordered, received half of our order and then were told that we'd have to wait for the other half (both were vegetarian and all the ingredients were ready to go--so not sure why we had to wait at all) of the order until he took care of the four other individuals who came in after we placed our order. When I asked him why, he just ignored me and told me he'd complete our order after the other four individuals. Almost 20 minutes later the owner came out and ended up finishing our order. The owner comped the meal, which was nice considering but, after this horrible experience, we won't be going back any time soon and we definitely won't be going as often as we had been.

Eh. Go to the one in Fort Collins. I would give it 3 stars. Don't even bother going here. You will be disappointed.

We're BIG fans of the Big City Burrito family, realizing the ownership/management varies among the different locations. This becomes pretty obvious when, as a customer, the layout/look/experience/menu can differ dramatically between locales. That said, the family resemblance runs deep, having eaten at many of the front range cafes. Boulder location completely rocks...always killer in every way, followed by Fort Collins. Loveland is newer, definitely needs to work out some service kinks, but the resulting grub stays true...just knocks the Qdoba folks flat. Please support these guys; you won't be sorry to have a thriving, successful Big City in your community.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
