I can only rate the breakfast burito's cause that's all I've ever ordered. I've been on a search for a decent breakfast burito since I left southern New Mexico....sigh. Don't expect any kind of ambience, but you can get a fairly decent breakfast here. Good green chile.

Wow! I am back visiting in Colorado and wanted a good breakfast burrito, which is hard to find anywhere in the states east of here. I googled and found Antonio's, saw a couple god reviews, and thought I would check it out. Wow! Quick, simple service for a good, tasty authentic breakfast burrito. It was affordable and I got to choose the meat, which is always a plus in my book. It is not like those other places where they only offer one kind of meat each day. They had mild, medium, and hot green chili. I was weary and opted for mild, and although it was a great burrito, I could hardly taste the green chili. Next time I would choose medium. This is a great burrito place!

Very good breakfast burrito. Nice and spicy! I had medium and a bite of hot. We had the potato, egg, cheese and green chili, no meat. Could do the hot next time. The 8oz size was just fine for breakfast. I like that you can choose the size. I'd like the green chili in each bite rather than concentrated in one portion of the burrito. Could improve their coffee. Friendly service. Creo que no se habla español. Fairly clean bathroom. The place is old and very hole-in-the-wall feeling but good food. Will return.

Oh my gosh, this place is amazing!! I'm so happy that I have finally found a place that makes delicious breakfast burritos. Fantastic quality, with an even better cost. They give Torchy's in Austin a run for their money.

I have dying to try this place since moving here. Finally did. Burrito was very tasty but insultingly Overpriced. Beef beans and green chili XL size was my order. $7 with tax. Wow I was thinking this better be big. REALLY, comes out size of taco bell burrito supreme. When she handed me the bag I said "did you remember to put the burrito in here?" Being from Vegas and visiting LA and San Diego frequently I have seen what XL burritos look like . Both the locals joints and the chains Roberto's,Don Tor Taco's etc. I Guarantee 2 1/2 of these XL Antonios burritos would fit into 1 Roberto's burrito. This was an infant portion in comparison. A Del Taco Macho burrito is easily 2 times bigger and around $4.I can literally go drive to Firestone to Del Taco and get a Macho drive home and be cheaper, with gas cost, and more filling than going to Antonios for one XL (LOL) burrito .Rant over . Food prices aren't up that much. For $7 I can buy a pound of meat a pkg of Tortillas a pound of pintos make em myself some anaheims and make my own green chile. Then make 10 Burritos bigger and better than these for $7 . Point of a restaurant is convenience. No amount of convenience is worth being robbed for !

Went for the first time, with mixed results. Not much ambiance. The girl at the counter who took our order did not seem to know much about the menu, was unable to answer some of our questions. Asked about a particular item, was told a piece of equipment was broken/down, but they could make it by hand, and it would take extra time. Ordered - a torta for me, chicken tacos for the wife. A few minutes later the girl came out and said they were out of some things and could not make the torta for some reason. I expressed dismay. She suggested rellenos, and I agreed. The rellenos were good. Wife liked her chicken tacos, although she had trouble with them falling apart. To me, the meat was a bit salty. They don't have water as an option on the soda machine, so you must buy bottled water; and the soda machine looked like it needed a good cleaning. The owner came out and asked if we liked tamales. We said yes. He said he'd like to offer us some to make up for not having some of the things we wanted. He explained that he had a cooler or freezer break and they did not have the usual supplies that they normally would He brought out some tamales with green chili - pork, with cream cheese. It was quite tasty. He noted that the next week they'd have a special, buy 12 tamales get green chili for free. He also has jalepeno and cheddar tamales. I'll be back, there are some other things on the menu I'd like to try.

This is my favorite breakfast burrito in town. Friendly staff, fair prices and delicious burritos and tamales. Antonio's is the classic kind of dive that we all search for: doesn't look like much on the outside, good grub on the inside.

I tried this last summer. While I don't mean to be mean here, this place made me as sick as a dog. I could say so much more but what's the point. Your choice.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
