I decided to go "Outback" last night with some friends after work. I cant say that Outback is a place that would be tops on my list of places to go for a steak, happy hour or whatever. I am not usually drawn to chains, because there's nothing that really separates one chain store from another, other than maybe the staff itself sometimes. Nothing really stood out about this location, other than our waitress who looked like she was annoyed every time we asked her for something. "Hey, it's your job!" Once you've had one bloomin' onion, you've had them all in my opinion. Sure they're a great appetizer, and everyone can "participate", but that's about it. Throw in a few beers a decent dinner, and maybe dessert and you will leave there full, guaranteed. I will give Outback credit for it's daily specials, they seem to have great specials to choose from and the prices arent so bad. You wont lose any sleep if you dont make it to Outback, but you wont experience anything mind-blowing or earth-shattering either. 3.5 stars overall.

Ordered the Prime Rib, expecting at least a decent sized portion of meat for the ridiculous price, and was served a thick slice of fat with a strip of meat on the side. Literally half of what was placed in front of me was a giant chunk of fat. I hesitated to send it back, as I'm famliar with the fate of most food returned to the kitchen, and was told by the server, "That's how it's supposed to look". For the outrageous price, the outrageous wait time, I should've gotten at least 8oz of meat from a 16oz "prime rib". If you're looking for a steak, go fifty yards down the road to the Texas Roadhouse, where they'll actually trim the meat correctly, and it costs less.

Starting to show cracks in the seams: service this last trip was slow and when my wife's drink showed up in a glass crusted with lemon residue, they removed it and brought it in another glass but it mysteriously still tasted of citrus. Not okay.

My Mom, Aunt and I met up here for dinner and had a decent meal. I wasn't a fan of my parmesan crusted chicken and my Mom said she wasn't fond of her chicken salad. The kitchen had a hell of a time getting hot soup out - we had to send back two bowls of soup because they were cold. That's a first. Honestly, it looks like Outback is sliding into oblivion just like Applebee's has. At one time they were a pretty good chain, but now not so much. The food was definitely below par. Our server, however, was actually pretty attentive and courteous and even let us stay and chat a little late. Three stars...

Having a late dinner with my boyfriend, and decided to come here because we had gift cards we received for Christmas. We walked in, and there were 3 young ladies standing at the hostess stand, looked up at us and continued to chat with each other, and THEN greeted us. They chatted for a few more seconds, and THEN seated us. We sat down, when we noticed the hostess gave us very dirty napkins (looked used) from the rolled flatware. Our server came over "Ben", we asked for new, clean, rolled flatware, he grabbed it and walked off, came back with new ones. We ordered our drinks and then later ordered our appetizers for our meal. We wasn't very hungry to begin with, so appetizers and dessert was the plan. We told Ben that most likely we would only be ordering appetizers and dessert, he didn't seem pleased, and more on the aggravated side. We received our appetizer, which was pretty good. We ordered the trio, it came with some dip and chips, coconut shrimp and sashimi tuna. Ben NEVER came to ask us how our food was, during or even after when he picked up the plate and asked what else we wanted. We also had empty drinking glasses at one point, during our appetizer, and he never refilled them till we ordered our dessert. He seemed to get a little better towards the end, after all was said and done. But the most aggravating part, he only had two tables, us and another two top behind us.

Steaks were just ok, a little over cooked. Our server Kathryn made the whole night better though. Friendly and did a great job!

I discovered I can cook a way better steak. $8 for a huge nicely cut steak, BIGGER THAN MY FACE, was found at Sprouts Market. and after grilling it FOREVER (so worth the wait) I will never throw money away at these mediocre steakhouses I am surrounded by!

It is amazing to me that this is a steakhouse and they cannot cook a steak to the correct temperature to save their lives.

Not much of choice for steak for lunch. The waiter took 15 min for drinks and 20 for food. Then included extra time for refilling drinks and had to wait for ketchup and BBQ sauce. The shrimp was good and the fries were overcooked. The waiter was friendly but seemed new to being a server and spacey. No one seemed to be working--just standing around and talking. It also seemed dark and smokey inside.

My husband used to hassle me b/c I never want to come here but now he remembers why. We had a coupon for a free app so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the Steakhouse Nachos (which is from The Bar menu-more on this later). The toppings were very skimpy. Hubbie ordered salmon & shrimp with veggies and I ordered a burger with broccoli on the side. The good stuff: the broccoli was delicious and my burger was very tasty although a little under cooked; I asked for well and it was still pink in the middle but tasted fine so I did not complain. My husband's meal was just ok. The salmon tasted fine but for $17, it needs to taste better than just fine and should be larger than 2" wide. The four little shrimp looked pretty sad sitting there too. We came to the conclusion that the portions are just very small here for the price you pay and the food is about the same quality as Red Robin or other places that give bigger portions. The other thing that I found kind of weird is the number of different menus they have with inconsistencies. Some specialty drinks were on the small bar menu (a wooden card) but not on the main drink menu that sits on your table to flip through-misstep by the marketing team if you ask me.

UHHHH. My company had a Holiday Party here, I would have paid to have NOT gone. First the service was slow from the get go, each server only had about 4 tables so getting basics like...water... shouldn't have been an ordeal. The bloomin onion was decent, we should have stopped there. I had the Chicken Alfredo- lets recap. Wallpaper paste like, and bland sauce, over overcooked noodles with a slab of chicken that was so dry it made me dehydrated. Furthermore, the chicken was not a part of the dish, it just sat on top of it. My wife had a steak, med rare, that came with a cold -steak tar tar ish center. Clearly the cooks didn't care, came back on a plate that had been thrown in the micro. Pretty sad for a restaurant that has "steak" in the name And to top it off, we both got sick about an hour after. So that's a big HAPPY HOLIDAYS from outback steakhouse. NEVER again.

We stopped in for lunch and there were maybe six other people in the whole place. It still took forever to get our drinks and food. My Caesar salad was awful, the lettuce was wilted and the dressing was - off. Too much garlic or pepper, something. I also had the fettuccine Alfredo, which isn't actually fettuccine Alfredo because its covered in chives, red peppers (I think) and the sauce was very spicy. It also came out cold and clearly had been sitting awhile since the sauce had dried at the edges. My husband's shrimp were greasy and flavorless, according to him. I will give the manager credit though, he came out and apologized for the pasta, took it off the bill, and brought me the potato soup instead, which was actually good. Excellent customer service, so three stars instead of one.

Had a free steak offer and nothing in the fridge so we headed over for dinner. I don't know whether the waitress thought we would tip badly due to the coupon or what but it took awhile to get the water refilled (just once the whole time), our second bread out, and the food tasted like it had been under a heat lamp for a good bit of time before arriving (we got a "sorry" when it was placed on the table). All told, it took more than an hour to eat one dish (we left at 5:30 and arrived home at 7, I'm giving them 30 min for driving time even if it was probably less), no apps, no dessert. The final kicker was that the bill arrived wrong & we had to get it fixed. While they did fix it, the overall experience was mediocre and not super satisfying. I used to really enjoy this place, but with so many other wonderful options, going to a chain restaurant is just being lazy. For those calories (and prices without a coupon), go check out a local steak place or even a bar like Pumphouse...I'll be back here again someday I'm sure, but it might take another 4-5 years!

Fast service, I ordered the bone-in ribeye it was cooked to perfection and tasted just as good. The family had the typical great outback food!

Hey it's the bloomin onion that I like mate. Good great appetizers, and you can watch sports while munching. Put in a few (pints of) beers, some cow and you're ready to crash. I usually arrive in the evening from San Jose for work. So, this place, and some of the restaurants across the street are my options. It's not a bad place, if you like franchise restaurants. The steak and beer are generally standard and well prepared, and the waiters/waitresses here are generally courteous.

I travel every week for business and the reason I eat here is the consistent quality of the food and the friendly staff. I like it when the servers sit down and talk to me.

My group of 20 decided to go to outback. The service was great and the food was well prepared.

Prime rib was tough. Sides were cold. Crab legs were dry. Yelp reviews were dead on the money for this one. Avoid.

The two times we've been here the food as been below par, even for Outback steakhouse standards. The clam chowder tasted and looked like it came straight from the can, the steak was a bit cold, and the salad was laden with too many useless lettuce greens. They do get one extra star for having a nice screen to catch NBA games on.
