A great help for my wedding!!! Niwot Market is the greatest small intimate neighborhood grocery market! Fresh and organic, local produce and products. I go there frequently for Sunday ramen at Sachi Sushi. I never thought they would become my wedding vendors too, and I'm glad they did! Wedding cake - Kirsten (baker): Kirsten makes real buttercream cakes in a variety of flavors, including red velvet, ginger, almond, chocolate stout etc. Other topping flavors include chocolate ganache (my favorite), cream cheese frosting, and peanut butter cream. They are smooth and creamy, and most importantly, not too sweet! She met with us for a tasting and design session. She was willing to be flexible in the design so I could get my dream cake of a 3-tier wedding cake plus 60 cupcakes within my budget. She also had great ideas about the design. On the day of the wedding, she showed up to deliver the cake, got the display beautifully set up, never had any hassle. Afterward our guests were asking where we got such delicious cakes! Wedding bouquets - Diane (florist): Diane was easy to work with and reasonable in price (compared to Longmont Florist and others in Boulder). She was willing to custom design bouquets and corsages to bring down the price. She got in touch with me frequently before the wedding, and I never had to worry. My bouquet of peonies and roses was exactly how I imagined it to be. The corsages and boutonnieres were well-made, and they lasted all day throughout the wedding without problem. Thank you Niwot Market!

Went to Niwot Market specifically to see Tsukasa-san and have sushi at Sachi Sushi...but have actually shopped at the market as well. Nice small intimate market. Fresh deli refrigerated section has a nice selection of salads and prepared foods that are tasty, albeit on the expensive side, which is the theme of this market overall. They have delicious baked good (try the lemon bread), which are brought in by outside vendors like Breadworks, etc...I think their donuts might actually be from Dunkin Donuts as I've seen the boxes but no complaints from me! Most of the staff is pretty friendly though I have got to say that I have yet to see the owner ever crack a smile or even acknowledge that you exist, which is the one major thing that detracts from the ambiance of this place. NEVER seen him smile and the time I tried to say good morning, he looked right through me like I was a bug....too bad... but good thing he doesn't work the registers or counters, right? Good market in a pinch, not somewhere you would want to shop all the time, especially if you are on a budget...kind of like Ideal Market in Boulder where there are more specialized and more intimate.

Not sure who they hire here but SO many times I go in and the cashiers have no clue how to say please and thank you. I have sworn off going into a place that doesn't seem to appreciate my business. I just bought something there and the lady behind the register handed me my money back without a WORD. If you are going to charge $6 for a small thing of plain yogurt the least you could do is say thanks for you business and make your customers feel welcome. The young lady who worked there this summer was the only smiling face I have encountered there.

The Niwot Market is an upscale market that has everything you could want. Care to eat sushi for lunch? It's great and made fresh as you wait (as well as a whole menu full of fresh tasting food). Need some fresh crusty bread from Breadworks? It's delivered fresh daily - ohh so good! You can get soup, deli, fresh local organic veggies (from Zwecks), there's a bank, Primrose flowers and a rack of clothes from Rockin' Robin's Retro and Resale. It's a feel good store. I visit whenever I am trekking from Boulder to Mead, CO.

I am so proud to be in a neighborhood where I can walk to get coffee, groceries, great pizza, wine and more. The Niwot Market is a gem of a grocery store, and is one of the last independent grocery stores around Colorado. Check out their organic selections, roasted coffee, local produce, Niwot honey, and fine cuts of organic meat too. In the summer, the owner, Burt, runs a Saturday Farmer's Market. Support your local grocer, you'll be glad you did, even though it can cost a little more sometimes. While you're there, you must get sushi from Tsukasa at Sachi Sushi - it is the best deal in Boulder County for the quality!!

Very convenient. They have a great selection for a small neighborhood grocery store! The prices are high though. Once I saw a box of animal crackers advertised at $1.75. That's ridiculous! Also, the candy and common snacks are all 50 cents to a dollar cheaper at the Phillips 66 right next door. I do like how you can get pumpkins there around Halloween. The sushi used to be very good, but I think the quality has gone way down. When you can, try to get fresh sushi, and don't go for the stuff that has been sitting there a while. The coolest thing I've bought there was frozen sweet potato fries. These fries are delicious and I've seen them served in restaurants, but never grocery stores!

Good market!! Many prepped foods and sandwiches! Nice small town feel!! There's a little bit of everything in this place from flowers to sushi to deli meat.

Wow, what a great medium sized market. Japanese restaurant and deli come included. Fun alternate foods/brands as well has having staple all-American products. I don't live in Niwot, but would be happy to have this shop closer to my home!

Niwot Market is a little overpriced, which is why I only gave it 4 stars, but always has whatever I need whenever I need it. They have yummy prepared food too! I also love supporting small businesses.

I recently started working in Niwot and this is my go to place. I love the staff, they are so friendly and welcoming. The sushi bar, florist, and jewelry store make this little jewel all the better with an at home, small time feel. I highly recommend the sushi bar and Boar's Head sandwiches for lunch :O)

Everyone should have a neighborhood market like this--the hub of the community that is always improving. Excellent baked goods, excellent meat dept (with a good selection of organic meats), local produce, fresh flowers, good deli, fresh roasted coffee, and the most awesome breakfast burritos imaginable...my Saturday morning treat. In the summer they host a farmers market on Saturdays, and they offer pancake breakfast in their parking lot for 4th of July and other Niwot events.

This market is just so danged cute! I had to bike up here from Gunbarrel because, for some reason, my King Soopers didn't have any limes in the middle of July. Anyhoo, it was a good excuse to get some exercise. I like the coziness of the place, and the checkout gal was friendly. Granted, I didn't explore much, just a couple of aisles, but first impression was great. I'll get back and wander around a bit more.

You can have your cake AND eat it too at the Niwot Market. Ordered flowers (Diane Strong), a cake and cupcakes (Kirsten Larsen) for a sweet 16th birthday party. INCREDIBLE, WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL, DELICIOUS and I'm just getting started. Many Thanks, Mr. Dallas

This is a great local market focused on fresh, organic foods. It's not that big but it offers a good selection of yummy foods. I went on a Friday evening when they offer a glorious buffet for only twenty-one dollars a person. The night I went they served a wonderful smoked salmon, salad, a variety of grilled veggies, and marinated flank steak. It was all so yummy!!! I look forward to trying it again in the near future. Be sure and bring your own beverage. They only serve tea or lemonade. We took a bottle of Rose to coordinate with the salmon and steak. It is the perfect Friday night date place. Sitting outside and eating these tasty foods was divine!!

3 stars for the market with the premium clientele. Regular is not normal here only Premium. Do yourself a favor use the yelp deal and you'll get 2 very satisfying premium sandwich for the price of one. I would probably be Ike paying the price without the deal. Delicious sandwiches.... Delicious miso soup next door with side of delicious steam rice. You can get away with not paying premium price just be humble and pay close attention to the prices

Very reasonably priced store. I love the local feel to it. The sandwiches are so so so good. They have whole roasted chicken that they roast and season themself. I would like to try too. Also they roast their own coffee have a roaster in the center of their store. Pretty cool. I'm only here for a week but if I lived in town I would be here all the time.

Niwot Market is one of those "Only Game in Town" Small-Town Markets that tries to present itself as a "gourmet" market... and fails. A couple of shelves of expensive, pre-wrapped chocolates and a few pre-made salads does not a Gourmet Market make. I think they get a ton of business from the Sachi Sushi "Looky-Loos"... Plus Sachi doesn't have cold drinks, so we buy our drinks from the market when we're eating there. Easy way for Niwot Market to make a quick profit. Add to that literally *Every* item in the store is ridiculously overpriced, and you've got a cliché that keeps on going because it's conveniently located. But... $5 for a bottle of Apple Juice that I can get for $2.59 at ANY other Supermarket. $1.59 for a bottle of Snapple that every Gas Station has for $99-$1.25 $3 for bags of chips that should be $1.99 "Gourmet" Chocolate Bars for $6... You get the idea. We walk through the Market to get to Sachi Sushi, and wander it just to kill time while waiting for our sushi, but the prices here are absurd. I can't imagine the people of Niwot do their food shopping here. It's probably just a "it's close and I only need one thing so it's worth the inflated price" kinda place.

Ah man I love this little grocery store! They have a great little sushi place inside where you can get basic rolls and sashimi that are pretty darn tasty. Tons of healthy, gluten-free options throughout the store including some decadent desserts. Makes me salivate just thinking about it!

I came here for the Japanese food, but I am glad to discover a little local grocery gem. The market reminds me Vitamin Cottage, but has a more mom and pop shop feel to it. Don't get me wrong, they carry a lot of groceries not your typical corner store. When I say mom and pop shop, I mean the staff are friendly and helpful, like those shops in small town. You will experience a more intimate shopping experience. The shop carries a good variety of groceries, organic, healthy food and drinks. They have a sandwich station that makes really yummy and big portioned sandwiches. I recommend the reuben sandwich. I will definitely come back if I am in the area.

As stated before, it is a small local grocery store that tries to sell itself as gourmet but fails miserably. Ridiculous prices, even for common household commodities and even more ridiculous for specialty items. Now we all expect to pay more for speciality items but this is far more then one could seriously expect someone to pay, even when taking into consideration of them being a small store and not a chain. When we were there, the staff was near non-existent in all honesty. Also tried the sushi place in the back and tried their curry, as it had been recommended. I was told it was just like in Japan. Boy were they wrong, I spent 3 months living there with our Japanese friends (parents were military) and this was far from Japanese curry. I know I will not be returning and always take a chance to warn others to not waste their time.

Over priced comes to mind. Main reason I go in there is the "oops i forgot something" and I don't want to drive to Kings again. Justin's Key Lime Pies are great! He does a wonderful job on them, nom nom. Also, the beautiful flowers that always smell so great. Over all not my fav place and can get a better deal at lots of other places, but good when you are in a pinch.
