I had been to a few other Mad Greens locations in Colorado, but not to this one, until last week. I like this Longmont Mad Greens much more than the other two Mad Greens I have been to. It is larger, the people who work here are friendly and helpful, and my salad was very nice other than the grey-coloured salmon which added $3.25 to the meal. It tasted ok but looked unappealing. That is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Everything else was a 5 star experience. I like the option to choose your toppings instead of ordering one of the preformulated salads. I don't really have much to add that others haven't already covered. Chain restaurants are chain restaurants, but at least here you get a reasonably healthy meal for an affordable price.

Got some takeout here today. The food isn't bad, but the flavors don't sing the way the prices suggest they should. The location seemed clean and the service quite friendly. Watch out: specify whether you're ordering a salad or a wrap as many of them have the same names.

I really like the concept of fresh, healthy food but the salads here leave a lot to be desired. The chicken was tough and the greens seemed pretty wilted and flavorless. Too much dressing also. Not worth it for the price.

Very disappointed! The Bollywood WRAP was nearly all lettuce with a few bits of onion, and celery, and a very few shreds of chicken. Not at all what is pictured on the web site. The guy divided the contents of one bowl between two tortillas, kept adding lettuce, and then gave it to the customer ahead of me. Fortunately he checked his bag and brought it back. The web site pictures the Bollywood wrap filled with chicken salad with an outer layer of lettuce, surrounded by the tortilla. I ended up with a $7.50 tasteless lettuce burrito.

Pretty good for a quick meal. Fresh, clean, many options and fairly tasty. Soup is also decent.

Unimpressed! I had never been to MAD Greens before anywhere, so I wanted to give it a try in a quest to eat healthier. The service was good enough, but the food looked unappetizing, especially their protein options. All of it looked as though it had been sitting out since lunchtime (I was in at 6:00), and the fish and steak looked particularly unappealing. I did a build-your-own salad and made a salad I eat all the time at home, but the one I make is MUCH better. Plus, I can't justify spending nearly $20 on two people for salad at a place like that. As soon as we left, I started feeling sick and didn't feel well the rest of the night. Maybe their "fresh" ingredients had been sitting out too long.

Have been to this Mad Greens several times and have always enjoyed their salads as the portions are generous and the toppings are good...the staff has always been very courteous and nice...the only thing is beware when you start requesting add-ons, it can up the price of your salad by a lot!!! Nice place to grab a salad to go or to eat there...we have always gotten it to go...they also have sandwiches but so far have only stuck to their salads...

I absolutely love this mad greens ! Everyone always seems happy and excited to talk to customers. The Annie Oakley is my favorite along with the beer cheese soup. The manager Chris was very happy and she always had a smile on her face !

I really enjoy this place. Usually once a week after a long day of work at the Spa when I am exhausted. Ill stop by and build a custom salad and it is delicious and I leave feeling satisfied and refreshed. I love that I can build exactly what Im in the mood for which is usually along the lines of: mixed spring greens, baby spinach, kalamata olives, red peppers, avocado, mango, cranberries, red onions and bleu cheese. I can get all this in the regular size which is very filling for under ten dollars. The staff is young and fun and courteous. I enjoy the bright open atmosphere. The only reason Im not giving it a 5 is I would prefer raw and fresh mangos and beets as opposed to the canned they use. Most of the ingredients are fresh though and they do make their own very tasty salad dressing too which is a big plus. Enjoy meeting my girlfriends here for a gourmet lunch that leaves me feeling good! OH ALSO... I love that they do not have a television blaring anywhere in place! THANK YOU!

MAD Greens popularity is fueled from GMO propaganda and the illusion of health. Most of the fixings available are far from healthy and the food served was ultimately bland. The wait was long as well and the atmosphere... too noisy to hold a conversation. My partner and I sought refuge on the patio but were shocked to find that the music was funneled outside as well. You can tell that the staff is trying to do a good job, but with the overpriced salads, loud atmosphere, and wall to wall propaganda, I give this place two stars at best.

I love MadGreens salads. Always excellent food that is very fresh. They label all their proteins and soups as whether or not they're gluten-free so there's no questions what I can and can't eat. The local and seasonal salads off a nice change when I'm not quite in the mood for my usuals. And almost any ingredient can be added or swapped out for something else. The employees and managers are very friendly but courteous and I've never had anything but the best of service. It can be loud during the lunch rush, but picking a table in the back corner usually works if you are looking for a quieter conversation. Now if only they'd pick up on some of Udi's GF breads in addition to Udi's regular ciabatta so I could enjoy their sandwiches too...

LOUD, LOUD, LOUD!!! I've been here twice for lunch during the week and couldn't even hear my lunch mate speaking over the tremendously loud place. Obviously no thought was put into the accoustics here. The food was very mediocre and pricey for what you get. The last time I was there, I ordered soup which costs ~$6 and when it was served, I got a 1/2 filled bowl while the guy ahead of me got a filled to the brim bowl. WTH? Since both times were a bust, I don't plan to try it again. Too bad because we could sure use a good salad place in Longmont!

I could make a salad at home but it wouldn't have all the great ingredients I get here. great option whenI want something healthy but don't have time to make it myself.

Stopped in for lunch today. The concept sounds amazing... several different salads served in a big metal bowl and spun with your choice of dressing. I ordered the Mad Molly Brown: Spinach, tomatoes, mozarella and grilled onions. I added the herb-marinated tuna and chose the Horseradish Ranch dressing. I also had a cup of the Colorado Green Chile. It all looked great. Then I took my first bite and tasted nothing but tarragon. What they don't tell you is that the herb-marinated tuna is so heavily blended with herbs that you can't taste much else. It even overpowered the dressing. I gave up on the salad and moved on to the Chile. It had heat, but no real flavor to it, and the pork that was in it had a spongy texture with a lot of fat. I tossed out the meal without even eating half of it. It was not worth the $12 to me.

Love coming here for a Salad. I always get the Dionysos (Romaine Lettuce, Red Onions, Vine-ripened Tomatoes, Kalamata Olives, Cucumbers & Feta Cheese). They are really good about asking if you want all of these ingredients in the salad. I don't usually get the cucumbers and they will double up on something else. I usually take the salad to go so I don't have much info on the atmosphere while eating there. It usually looks pretty busy (unless you go early, 11am). Servers are always friendly and knowledgeable!!! And the restaurant always seems really clean! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars, is because of the price. I usually get the small salad and add Chicken and I end up spending about $9 on it. Tip: Sign up for their email list and you will get special offers. For example, today I received and Buy One Get One Free (all because of a snow day)!!

They have really tasty and creative salad choices. The ingredients are always fresh. The staff is very friendly and upbeat. I eat here once a week.

I like the simple concept. Someone tosses your salad for you. It's a native CO business. The choices are good. Not too pricy. I do very much like the stainless steel bowl they serve the salad in.
