The $2.50 breakfast burritos are excellent. I had the chorizo and bacon with the hot green chili and boy were they good! The employees were very professional and friendly and they turned around our order within a few minutes. I haven't tried their lunch or dinner menu yet but I would bet it wouldn't disappoint.

Breakfast burritos here are affordable, consistent, and tasty. I'd recommend going with medium or mild green chili, unless you really like the heat. Good breakfast option.

How can you go wrong with $2 breakfast burritos? You can choose your meat such as bacon, sausage, chorizo etc then choose your temp, mild, medium or hot..... I usually pop into this place, order to go and I'm outa there in no more than 5 min! Apparently according to some signs they have problems with high school kids during lunch since the Longmont high is around the corner, but since I go for breakfast I have never seen them loitering or causing a ruckus!

We have probably eaten here at least 20 or more times in the last 2 years. I absolutely LOVE the $2 breakfast burritos! Another favorite are the Tacos Adovada. If you get 5 tacos you get a free bowl of spicy bean soup. I am not sure what the soup is called or even what all is in it, all I know for sure is that it's delicious! Very good prices. I haven't tried many of the other menu items because I just stick to what I already know I love. This is not a fancy place but it's clean and priced right, excellent choice for fast Mexican food.

The breakfast burritos are ok, however I feel they could do a better job cleaning the common areas to freshen up the place a bit. The customer service is hit or miss. There's certainly a bit of attitude there.

Food is Ok. Costumer service sucks! I ordered to go because two ladies in there barely speak to us. We weren't asking for given food for free... we're bringing BUSINESS to you!

Disclaimer: I can only speak for the breakfast burritos here. they are very good! I would take one from here over the more well-known Colorado Mexican chain any day. The downside to this place is the people/service. Not very friendly at all. And when I called to order a number of burritos to take to work with me, no one answered the phone. The guy covered in hickies at the front counter did not have any apology to that either. I will probably go back since the food was decent at a decent price.

I live down the street, and have been a fan of Las Palmeras across town for years. I was excited when I saw they were putting in a taqueria on Francis. I have enjoyed everything I've tried - the tortas, burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas & tacos are all good. The guacamole and salsas are fresh and flavorful. I have always enjoyed great service when I go there, and I look forward to my next visit.

Best breakfast burritos I've EVER had. That's all I've had there, so it's all I can speak for, but they are not to be missed!

One day a few years ago this location was Santiago's and 2 days (literally) later, it was Palmeras... Too be perfectly honest, at first, I was bummed,,, And then I walked in and ordered what would have been my usual Santiago's (breakfast ham smothered HOT GREEN CHILI with pico and jalapeno on top) and OH MY GOD!!!! These guys breakfast burritos are the best on the front range, and that includes CO and NM. Consistent, TASTY, and since I LOVE heat, their hot green CAN NOT be beat, While I still like Santiago's (and several other fantastic local joints), these guys are head and shoulders the best breakfast burrito when you are near...

Cheap, amazing Mexican food. Breakfast burritos are my go to. They come with potatoes, eggs and your choice of bacon, ham, chorizo, plain or pico. I usually go with pico because it adds a great flavor and is healthy. This is a Longmont institution that I hope is around for a very long time.

Love their breakfast burritos. For $2.50, you can't go wrong. Lots of different choices of ingredients vs Santiagos. Friendly staff and quick service.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
