I have only been to Deli Zone for breakfast, but the breakfast sandwiches I've gotten have been dee-licious. I've gotten the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese sandwich and then the Sausage, Egg, and Cheese. The sausage was particularly memorable, and I'm craving one right now. Each of these were pretty cheap, maybe 4 bucks a pop, but their larger and more elaborate sandwiches get a little pricier, although not unreasonable. I became so hooked on Snarf's that I would have never dreamed of straying, but now that I know Deli Zone's breakfast sandwiches are so good, I'll have to go back for a lunchtime sub. The atmosphere might be the biggest drawback for me. It is a pretty new building, and it is completely sterile. Sort of like a Chipotle's. Slick, but not at all warm or welcoming. But there's always plenty of seating and we haven't had to wait too long for our food. Apparently they now have bands play on weekend nights and serve beer. Pretty weird place for a band to play.

I love their breakfast sandwiches. I do. They're great, hot, and worth it. What isn't worth it is the delivery. Do not order delivery. Every time I've ordered delivery, it's a minimum of an hour to 2 hours wait. Unless you're not in a rush one morning and willing to wait that long, do not order delivery. Eat in if you must.

This is your classic sub shop. Although It was my first time at this location, I used to live around the corner from the Valmont location where I fell in love with their amazing Baby Kong breakfast sandwich. It's a cheesy hash brown, sausage and fried egg piece of heaven. Great for hangover mornings but you'll need to run miles afterwards to burn it all off! This time I came in here for a quick sub for lunch. Menu options all look tasty - lots of hot sandwiches. We settled on a large Giuliani which is a reliable Italian sandwich with roasted peppers, banana peppers and good amount of lettuce topped w vinegar and oil. The wait here is longer than other sub shops (maybe 5 or 10 minutes from when you order) but it's definitely worth it.

They have concerts on occasion, they have a stage in the back. The breakfast are defiantly some of the best and their lunch sandwiches are great. They have a lot more variety than just cold cuts and the staff was really friendly. The smalls are only 4" but it was enough for lunch if you add a meal.

I absolutely love the deli zone on Valmont in Boulder! I used to go there ALL the time. I grew up in Westchester, NY, which is where the owners and founders of the shop are from, so it was like a piece of home for me. That being said, the one in Longmont is HORRIBLE! Their breakfast subs are the only thing that's of quality at this location! I ordered a Gangster (which is supposed to come with chicken CUTLETS, roasted red peppers, cheese, bacon, and pesto mayo), and it had grilled chicken breast on it instead! I had ordered these for YEARS at the Valmont location and at the Longmont location too. Granted, I hadn't had one in a little while, so I asked the counter guy when they switched it. He said he'd only been there for a while, but that's how it always was. That's not true! A cutlet is a breaded chicken breast, not grilled! I looked up at the menu again and they still listed a chicken cutlet sandwich, so I asked the guy if I could get a cutlet instead, and he said that's what they were calling the grilled chicken! Also, the sub was VERY skimpy! Usually, they were a lot more "beefy", but now, like Abo's, they've decided to skimp on everything. I'm going to try SubWorks because I hear they're great. I also like Snarf's. You lost out, Deli Zone! P.S,- I also agree with the other guy that their hours suck. Half the time I went by they were closed, and at dinner time at that!

Don't get me wrong I love Deli zone. But the one in Longmont is worthless . The hours there totally suck, & I swear to God every time I've gone in there they are out of something. I just went in. It was 12:20. Literally 20 minutes into lunch hour and they were already out of chicken. It is seriously worth your time to just go into Boulder to go to a real deli zone. Idk if this one is different owners, Or they're just joking with this location. But it's totally lame. This is the third time I've gone in and they were out of what I wanted to order . & I can understand at the end of the day, but 20 minutes into lunch hour is ridiculous

I would have to say that I was once again very disappointed, the quantity of food for the price doesn't add up! I ordered the Pastrami & Swiss which tasted awesome just would have love to have more the a few bits for $10. Just sayn!

Great place for a quick bite, I especially like the egg sandwiches. Philly Cheese Steaks I stopped buying because they were skimpy on the meat. I would give them 5 stars if the place wasn't so grungy. Hey owner, spend a buck and replace the furniture!

I like the sandwiches here a lot but I have to agree about Sundays here. Came in just before closing (which was not clearly posted) on a Sunday. Placed my order only to have it not sent through to the sandwich makers. After waiting some time, I went up to the counter only to find out they didn't know about the order. One the plus side, they did offer us free drinks and cookies.

My husband took me to lunch at the Deli Zone. I would have never picked it out on my own because it kind of looks like it is in an industrial center and it didn't attract my eye. I really liked the 42nd Street sub it had a great flavor and was piping hot! My husband got the Yankee and adored the horseradish sauce. I will visit again for sure. The price/value was excellent! Service was good and place looked clean. I have to say it seemed like a guy place, ESPN on the tv and I was the only girl in the place. So ladies visit and let us "chick it up!"

Gross! I'd never been to Deli Zone and when I got a coupon I was excited to try it. I ordered a sub. I don't know how much of my bad experience was normal and how much was just a bad employee, but I won't be giving it another chance to find out. The wait for my sub was about 25 minutes. When I did get it the bread was soggy and the sandwich had at least a cup of mayo on it. It was not acceptable. I threw it away and went to Chick-fil-A.

I ordered the F-train and all I can say was this sandwich was anorexic and slightly edible at best. All I kept thinking was F-this place. The bread was soaked with hot sauce so much that I though they had goofed and gave me a buffalo chicken sandwich until I was able to come across and Identify some of the meat they were calling steak. What a mess, it was so bad we tossed half of the 14'' sandwich. I dont think I will ever revisit the Longmont location due to the very poor quality of food & service. I will however give their Boulder or Lafayette locations a try again when I'm up that way, they have always been solid as far as quality. But then again who knows in this economy what this chain is trying to pull.

Deli Zone is your typical Sub Sandwich place that tries to mimic NYC deli places as closely as possible. The little-known fact about Deli Zone is that they have GREAT breakfast stuff! If you're an ex-New Yorker or miss the morning egg, ham and American cheese on a kaiser roll breakfast sandwich, Deli Zone is the place to go! Also, they have a breakfast burrito that can't be beat (ask for Frank's hot-sauce on it too). The Breakfast burrito isn't on the menu - it's advertised on the wall in the men's bathroom (of all places). Weird, I know, but hey that huge breakfast burrito is something that is worth taking the time out of my busy day and writing about on Yelp. :)

This is one of the better places to get a relatively authentic NY style sub. They started out as an independent shop and recently started franchising. I've eaten only at the Longmont, Boulder, and broomfield locations, and all were great. If any sub shop should expand, I say it should be this one, as it's really hard to find a good NY style sub around. Heidi's claims to be the Brooklyn deli around this area, and while they're also a good place to eat, they aren't as authentic as Deli Zone in my opinion.

If you like breakfast you have got to get the Kong. Super awesome and huge. There is a Mini Kong but enjoy your gluttony and eat the big one. Egg, ham, bacon, cheese and hash browns. Num, num, num. This sandwich is quality.
