Stated going to delicioso since 1983. Food was the best then. Moving to south location was further away but still great food. Had a few slips in quality and then when they introduced the sit-down with waitresses it really wasn't the same. They styrofoam "buckets" for both eat in and take out always seemed so wasteful but it was what gave the place some "charm" Will miss it!!

I stopped going to deli cioso for a long time at the south location because the service was terrible, and the food wasn't as good as it used to be. Well I decided to give the west location a try and I'm so glad I did. The food was amazing, and the service was really fast and friendly! I'll definitely be back.

Had dinner here last night while we were in Longmont. Ordered chips and guacamole for $5.35 and what we got was disappointing. Half a basket of chips with the guacamole sitting on a large pile of lettuce inside the basket? WTF? Worst chips and guacamole ever for starters. Food was fair, seeing and hearing them reheat food in microwaves constantly was a turnoff. Food is obviously not fresh and simply just reheated. Overall very average and gives the Deli Cioso brand a bad image in our opinion. Food at the original location on the south end of town is way better.

Speechless! I'm at a loss how an establishment of ANY kind can operate when the only employee present at the time of my visit was having an argument with her boyfriend while her two very young children sat crying. Before I could even process what was unfolding, the couple went ahead and harassed me for even coming in. Long story short, I was cursed at and told to tell my order to said children so they could ring it in and prepare it. I don't think so. I'm pretty sure child labor laws let alone social services would agree with me. Tried following up with the manager but she(kelly) was rude and defensive. Please don't support this horrifying restaurant by giving them your business.

Ordered take out. I got the shredded beef chimichanga. the meat and medium salsa were yummy, but the chimichanga was barely filled at all. I was left with way too much fried tortilla. Was disappointed.

This location is all about affordability and effiecency. Apart from one slow night, these guys get the food out fast. There are great options for vegetarians including the guacamole tostada.

I have been going to the south (main) restaurant for years and fell in love with there food from day one. however there was always a few things i dislike. such as cash or check only. Or having to tip a waitress when all i wanted was to get the food and take care of myself. well thats what this north location is for they accept credit cards you pick up your food and take care of your self. great for lunch. the food is just as awesome as it ever was. if you want a family sit down dinner goto the south location on main street. to go in and just relax and eat without being bothered head to the north location on hover and 17th.

The food is great, but when I go there on Saturday, the owners are not there and the service has gone down. One time the girl didn't have change for my $20 and let me know with a big hugh sigh of disgust in me and made me wait while she went to the liquor store for change. Ok, no one was there before I got there - a little planning ahead???? The 2nd time i went, the same girl was there doing everything by herself and people were waiting and waiting for their orders. Once again, she let us now how disgusted she was and frustrated. I miss the husband/owner who used to work there and gave us a friendly hello and a smile and great service!

Great green chili, Taco Azteca is great! Beware that the smothering sauce is actually hot. If you choose hot instead of medium beware that you will probably tear up. My friend from Japan who loves spicy food found it too hot for her, she finished it but with lots of liquid! I usually order hot at most restaurants and it is not hot enough, but here I order medium and it is good for me. Feeling a little adventurous? Order it half medium and half hot. The chili is served on the side of the dish so you can add it when you want and the tortilla stays crispy too. You can choose the Azteca with your choice of toppings, like machaca, chorizo, chicken, potato, ground beef, etc. My favorite is the machaca and potato combination. 6.75 Why don't I give it a 5 star? They use regular fresh tomatoes that have no taste, if they would switch to hot house tomatoes that have flavor it would be a hands down 5 star. I get around this problem by ordering take out and replace the tomatoes at home.

Ugh! What a nasty place! My eyes were hurting as soon as I walked into the place from all of the grease smoke in the air. Ice machine was broken. Food can barely be called food. Don't eat here unless *every* other place on the planet is closed. Taco Bell is better quality food/experience. Avoid this place like the plague or you might get the plague.

Stopped in on a Saturday at noon expecting (from recent reviews) poor service and a dirty atmosphere. Was pleasantly surprised on both counts. Server was courteous and the food (enchiladas) were tasty. I'll return in the future.

Originally went to the new one on 9th near Main but they were closed on Sunday and we drove back down Hover and noticed that this one was open. Don't expect anything fancy for decor at this one. I am pretty sure two of their signs were hand written on paper bags. It is a small dinning area and it seems like most people take their stuff to go. Every sign is handwritten as a matter of fact. Most of your food is made up front where you can see it. It is gooooood. Worth the money with combos ranging in about the $7 area and a decent amount of food. We aren't talking about Qdoba sized burritos here but there is plenty of food. They were promoting $1 tacos on the day we were there (Sunday). What we really both liked are the tacos. The shells are thicker than most and yet lighter some how. I got a medium sauce and it was just right. Also, I am a ground beef fan so I was happy. Plenty of cheese and sauce on everything. Sorry ladies, no idea how many bathrooms.

Yuck! There's really not another word that could sum it up! The grease in the air was so thick we couldn't keep our eyes open! Gross! Greasy, low quality slop, not the greatest service either! Don't walk, but RUN from this place!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
