A delicious angus burger with a lettuce wrap to save on carbs and calories.

The Larkburger was a great burger and paired with the truffle fries made a really good meal. Seemed a little pricey for the kids meals but the kid loved the little Larkburger and the two picky kids liked the grilled cheese.

This burger joint used to have some of the best burgers I've tasted. Unfortunately as the business grew they cut back on the quality of the meat. I used to go there to have a fantastic burger then left for six months. When I came back I had a lark burger and noticed a decline in quality of the meal. I asked the manager what happened to the meat and he responded that they did use a lower grade of meat and that is where the quality suffered. In the past it used to be worth the money but now I would not recommend this restaurant at all. The service has declined along with the food quality and I give it a thumbs down. What a waste....... This is a prime example of a business growing too big and sacrificing quality.

Truffle burger is so good here! An explosion of flavor! Parmesan truffle fries seasoned throughout not just the top! If I lived here I would be a regular!!!

YUM! This place was empty when we showed up so we were a little concerned since we'd heard so many great things about it but it started to fill up quickly after we ordered. The burger was delicious and let me tell you these truffle fries are AM A ZING!!!!!!!! everything was delicious and I didn't feel like a fat blob after I had it, it seemed healthy and yummy at the same time. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. and I hope the open one in Florida!

I used to love larkburger, but it appears to be on the decline. I really hope they get back to the basics that made them successful in the beginning, i.e., great quality products, people that cared, etc. the last 2 out of 3 times I visited, they got the order wrong. One of those times I had to ask twice to get the order fixed and then was promised that my credit card would be refunded on behalf of the mistake (never happened...and isn't the end of the world, after all I did finally get the meal I ordered). I concur with another reviewer in that the quality of the meat used to be better. Way back in the beginning the truffle fries were amazing and I remember when they "switched" truffle oils and they were never quite as good. I still give larkburger 3 stars despite the issues, because it is still a good burger joint, it just used to be great.

I have eaten at Lark Burger in the past and was always happy. Tonight I ate there for the last time. After telling the girl what I wanted on my burger three times she still got it wrong. What is so difficult in pickles and lettuce. I received a burger with onions only. The same girl was rolling up the floor mats with her bare hands when she was told that her meal was ready. This girl sat down and ate her burger WITHOUT washing her hands. Nasty disgusting!!! Tables were dirty and nobody seemed to care. I would like to believe this was a one time event but I won't be back to find out.

Great burgers, awesome truffle fries and best milkshakes in the valley!! The chicken burger is good as well. A must stop for our family during all our visits.

After spending a few months on & off in Vail for the last couple of years, this place has never let us down. There's not much more I can add to what they're already praised for - great burgers, fries & shakes. I will agree the dining area itself could have used more attention buy the staff on some occasions. The simple focus on the food and streamlined decor work very well as a "concept" burger joint. Also, considering the prices of most restaurants in the Vail area, if you have to take a break and satisfy the burger craving, this is the only place to go.

    (4)
  • Jack B.

Wish it was a little less expensive. But good for a quick bite. Burger chicken fish sandwich truffle fries. Sometimes service sucks , sometimes they screw your order up.

  • Jason S.

This burger joint seems to fit Colorado to a "t" (does anyone know where that phrase came from?). They have delicious normal burgers with very high quality ingredients, but they also have slightly weirder stuff that health-nut parents would like, such as an ahi tuna burger or a chipotle chicken burger. They sell beer for adults and "soda" and milkshakes for kids. Hippies and health nuts can enjoy a salad with quinoa. Their parmesan truffle fries are crazy delicious. It's also relatively inexpensive for what you get (especially considering how expensive the food is at Vail or Beaver Creek). I highly recommend the place!

  • Cong H.

Love the truffle fries there. I always get their tuna burger. So juicy and tasty this is the place for great burger.

  • Chrissie O.

What is the point of ordering ahead of they don't have your food ready when you get there? Took over an hour of waiting after putting my food in to receive it. The food is good, but the service really falls apart when it is busy here.

    (2)
  • Albert T.

This is my favorite burger place but today my food was terrible! It was extremely busy, so that may be the reason!

    (2)
  • Amelia C.

I'm a die-hard Larkburger fan , but this location was horrible. It was busy but that does not excuse quality. My request for medium - well was closer to rare. All gluten free buns were really hard on top. The fries were overcooked and beyond just crispy. What a disappointment. I couldn't even finish the meal and had some bizarre reaction to the food. I will not return to this location again.

  • Diane B.

Portions just right. Our party of 8 all enjoyed our meals. However, we really couldn't tell the dif between the truffle fries and regular fries.

  • Eric M.

What a great burger and fries served on a disgusting tray of unwashed grease and god knows what! This place has un-attentive young servers of their food that comes out in a wave from a fast pace kitchen hidden behind the cashier. It's now 2:00 and past the lunch rush but still I had to wipe down my own table which I thought was a slight bit disgusting to start. Next I was appalled at the dirty tray my food was served on and the kid who brought it to me was clearly NOT looking at what he was "Shlepping" in front of me. I simply took the attached photo to prove my case that the food is great but needs major improvement on Heath Department Regulated service.

Hamburgers that you casually make it home are better than the ones here. It tasted like salty flavorless ground beef. The water tasted strange. The staff was not very friendly. I give it two stars, because I have not gotten sick yet.

Wow amazing burgers and fries, must try the truffle and Parmesan fries, when going though CO you must stop here, it is a little had to find but well worth it...

When driving through the Vail valley Larkburger has been a planned lunch stop since they opened. No More! Yesterday, we were disgusted to find they have gone down the road of the commercial fast food chain with the processed tuna addition to there menu. Their ahi tuna burger was our reason for stopping. One of us got the medium size which turned out to be a nickel sized slider of processed tuna meat. I on the other hand went for the regular which was an over cooked hunk of processed tuna meat in a doughy bun. Advertised as the new and improved Torchoned Tuna, it is apparent this restaurant is scrambling for cost cutting measures. It makes me wonder where else they are cutting. Obviously not their prices! We have been Larkburger fans for years in Boulder and were excited to see them closer to our home in Grand Junction. Never again! If I want processed fish I'll stay home and eat cat food.

The burgers are great, but tonight I tried their tuna burger with cilantro dressing and jalapeños, it was exquisite!

While I have had good meals at other locations, today in Edwards did not go well at all. One example was my son ordered his burger with several condiments and toppings, when he got the burger it was plain, no toppings at all. We went up to the counter to point out that was not what we ordered and all they provided was a plate full of lettuce and a platter of attitude. Latter my son remarked that "it was like her ears stopped working" as nothing any of us said seemed to be registered. Food was all right, but not as we ordered it. Anyhow will not be back at this location any time soon as the staff just does not seem to care.

Best place for lunch in the Vail valley. All the burgers are great, but personally the chicken burger is my all time favorite. Great shakes too!

  • Billy M.

Place has awesome burgers and fries. For about the same amount of money you would spend at Burger King. This place gets the thumbs up. If you're hungry for a kick ass burger this is the spot.

  • Geoff F.

Quick service, delicious burgers, tasty thin fries, and awesome salads all at a reasonable price. Definitely worth it if you want a good burger salad combo to split with someone.

  • C B.

Ironic. An excellent burger with terrific fries. And the decor is slick and modern. But don't let it fool you. Of all the thousands of restaurants I've visited, this one had by far the worst acoustics. You could not design an acoustic torture chamber any better. It was a psychic relief to finally leave the place. For me, it's carry-out from now on.

  • JR R.

These are my favorite burgers in Colorado - whenever we're in town we always go to Larkburger. But the reason we really love this place is those delicious parmesan truffle fries. My mouth begins to water as soon as I smell them. This is a great place the get a delicious bite at a fair price.

    (5)
  • Marie C.

Ordered the Truffle burger with Bacon , truffle and parmesan fries, and truffle ranch salad. Burger was good. You could tell they used great quality ingredients. Truffle fries were a hit! Small matchstick fries were addicting. The salad ... was eh ... its a salad. The burger joint had a steady flow of traffic considering it was only 11 am when we went. Definitely a must try. A bit pricey in my opinion but good nonetheless.

  • Maria P.

This was my second or third visit to Larkburger and although completely satisfying, the only item I've had that I would really rave about are the truffle fries. Although even sometimes it seems that those are hit or miss, not because of flavor because the flavor is outrageously good but on fry quality. As a French fry fanatic I don't enjoy a soggy fry, Larkburger's could be more crisp for my liking. The burgers are good. Standard bun adorned with lettuce, tomato etc but I've definitely had better burgers. This time I threw in a shake too, haven't had one in years and it hit the spot for sure; I'd order that menu item again. All of that ran me at least $15.00 a splurge.

Best hamburgers in the US! Truffle Parmesan fries are heavenly! Great local Colorado beers too. This place will continue to be our must stop every time we drive through CO!

Before moving to Denver, my boyfriend and I made annual trips to Vail, for the winter sports. One night (staying in Avon), we took a drive for something to eat, and found Larkburger. We had never heard of it - I don't even think they had multiple locations at this point - so we stopped. We were intrigued by the backstory, the small menu, the promises of deliciousness. And, we were thrilled by the food. The food is just delicious. I've since had Larkburger here in Denver, but wasn't as impressed. Though, each time we've ventured out to Edwards for it, it's just as good as the first time. The burgers are delicious and the fries are to die for. Haven't tried the shake yet, but will definitely make a point to. And, not gonna lie, I like the minimalistic decor.

  • Chris V.

Good burger. Usually under seasoned though. Solid bun though. Truffle fries are good, but I'm a sucker for truffle oil and Parmesan. Good concept and nearly always busy which is a good sign for any business. I like the bottled soda offerings. An unfortunate side affect of being busy is that we almost always can only find dirty tables. More often than not we have to clean our own place to sit. A little more attention to the dining room, including a spot sweep here and there, would go a long way with the overall experience. We are still going back for a good value good burger experience.

Best burger and bang for the buck in the valley! My go-to: cheeseburger made like the chicken burger.

  • Chris W.

A spin-off build around a highly popular menu item at Vail's Larkspur restaurant, Larkburger serves up a limited menu of burgers, fries and shakes - all with an upscale and environmentally-conscious twist. My favorite variant is a hamburger without a bun, wrapped in lettuce instead. (I realize that might not be for everyone, but I love it.) While I have no complaints about the food, I will admit to having some customer-service issues here. It can be very slow for a burger place, and sometimes the staff can be less than hospitable. The food is very good, but with all the choices available within walking distance, I don't frequent Larkburger as often as some others. PRO TIP: The response to "This milkshake is warm and sour. I think it's gone bad." Is not "Well, nobody else is having a problem," followed by a disgusted snort and snatching the item away, just to re-enter it into the back of the queue so the customer can wait 15 minutes for a replacement. FUN FACT: Larkburger is one of several small restaurant chains to have a home in Edwards, CO. Read all about it at rmhtblog.wordpress.com

Food is awesome. In addition to burgers, they serve salads, ahi tuna burgers, turkey burgers. So if you prefer healthier fare while your kids want a burger, this is a good fit for the family. Truffle fries with parmesan are incredible.

A semi "fast food" haven for locals.. More like heaven- with those dang addicting Parmesan truffle fries... and for only $2.95!?! I would put the Lark's frites up against those at the Li'l Nell in Aspen any day! The Larkburger is great with the truffle mayonnaise! However, I usually get a regular burger if having those fries- just to not OD on truffles. They offer a great Ahi Tuna sandwich with wasabi mayo or serve it over the freshest, crispy, mixed greens I have ever had accompanied the perfect ginger vinaigrette. The shakes are fantastic, the best strawberry shake I have ever had... It does get crowded with families, or just the kids, after soccer or lacrosse. One of the best slight detours off I-70 you could make for a "quick" bite in Vail Valley!

Finally, a quick, delicious restaurant between Denver and anywhere west of Denver! If you're tired of the endless chain restaurants or overpriced, unreliable joints in the mountains, Larkburger is your solution. Quality (fast) food that you don't have to feel desperate for eating. I had the grilled cheese and truffle fries, and while the grilled cheese was fine (think of a better version of the In 'N Out grilled cheese), the fries might be the best I've ever had. Very thin-cut fresh fries, with coarse Parmesan, truffle oil and parsley, I couldn't snarf them down fast enough. Apparently there are several Larkburger spots scattered around Colorado. Worth stopping by!

Best burger I've ever had. Hands down. Cash money. I'm going to beg them for a franchise.

Eat here or I'll kill a kitten.. Now that I have your attention, I would like to point something out. The last person I took here was on a LONG road trip - Reno to SLC to Denver to Cheyenne WY to Jackson Hole, then back to Reno. He drove from Jackson BACK to Edwards so he could eat at Larkburger (again) before heading back to Reno. Think about that. This is gourmet fast food at its best (IMHO) The location itself is simple, clean, spacious and bright. The burgers are all around great - big but not HUGE, delicious, have all the toppings, and have yet to disappoint. Cooked however you want. The fries, well, they are a review of their own. As are the shakes. put the three together, and you are stuffed. This place is like the mac & cheese your Mom used to make - simple, delicious, and you will remember it for a long time to come....

  • King D.

This gets a decent star rating because the truffle fries are sooo good! What I usually do is order 1 regular, 1 truffle, mix 'em together and shake it up and BAM! EXTRA TRUFFLE FRIES! The burger has fresh meat and veggies and you can order them however you like. The taste of the burger is kind of bland though :( Maybe it's because I love that extra seasoning on mine. For a better burger, make your way to "Smash Burgers" in Silverthorne. The shakes are "ok" to me. It tastes like melted Dreyer's Ice Cream and guess what?! IT IS! LoL People are around the area are pretty healthy so to most of them, any kind of sweets are delicious.

  • Eliza M.

Another delicious experience at Larkburger! I had the truffle burger, medium, and the truffle fries. The burger was cooked exactly like they said it would be-- medium, pink throughout. Really really delicious. We were there at about 2pm and, unfortunately, it was REALLY smokey... You could see the smoke hovering around the lights, and it smelled. So I asked if the vent was broken, and the counter person said it wasn't.... So I hope it's not usually like that when it's busy? Yuck!

Yelp has made my love of finding cool little spots (especially burger spots), especially when I'm travelling. Case in point is this little gem. I was attending a conference in Vail and my fellow Yelpers pointed me to Larkburger, which was a short drive from my hotel. We were in a large group, and my group was both hungry and wanting to stay very close to the hotel. So my wife and I ventured off alone down I-70 and tried Larkburger. The restaurant was very clean and had a modern design. I was happy my group hadn't come with me, as my group of 15 would have taken up most of the seating in the small room. I ordered the Truffle Burger and Truffle Parmesan Fries. The patty of the burger was think and beautiful like a family barbecue. Delicious! The produce was fresh and delicious and complimented the burger perfectly. The fries...oh! those fries!...were amazing. Thinner than shoestring and full of flavor. I seriously considered order a few extra to take back with me to hotel to have as snacks for the rest of the conference. My wife also ordered a shake, which she said was very good. Was it the best burger experience I ever had? No, not the BEST. But it was very good! I would not hesitate to stop by again if I am ever in the Vail area again. If I was a local, I'd be a regular.

Tasty burger and fries served at the peak of environmental awareness. Ordered the standard larkburger and truffle parmesan fries. My wife ordered the little larkburger and the kid got the turkey burger kid's meal. Food came out quickly, expected for a fast food like place. The burger was cooked to order in all cases. The patties were juicy and tasted like they were made fresh not frozen. The bread was nice, nothing too special but toasted with butter and the slathered with homemade mayo sauce. The burger was well seasoned, a tad peppery, but good. The little lark burger was a little smaller than my wife expected. The turkey burger was seasoned a lot like turkey sausage. My wife and I helped my son finish his burger off. The fries came out hot and well seasoned. The truffle-parmesan fries were fun. The truffle oil really came out and the parmesan went nicely. There was parsley on the fries too. The regular fries were seasoned sensibly, but no parsley or other dressing. My wife really liked hers. The fries were cut thinly, a bit bigger than shoestring. Everything in the restaurant was very environmentally conscious. Cornstarch plastic cups, potato forks, recycled wood paneling, canola oil turned into auto fuel, and pretty much anything else that could be recycled or reused was. The interior was clean and modern too. Well worth stopping by for a solid burger and fries at a reasonable price.

I recently visited Beaver Creek and decided to give Larkburger a try on 2 different occasions because of Yelp reviews. I had the Larkburger and the truffle parmesan fries. The fries weren't fresh out of the fryer steaming hot but they weren't cold either. I would have preferred them hot and fresh. Even McDonalds gives you fresh out of the fryer fries. Withstanding the temp the fries were awesome! But as good as the fries were... that's how bad the burgers were. I ordered a Larkburger with cheese. Now... I'm no culinary expert with a highly developed palate but I know what a precooked burger that has been thrown back on the grill to be warmed up tastes like. This burger was cooked long before I ever got there. They threw it on the grill for another minute when I ordered it to make it slightly warm and then threw the cheese on which didn't even melt because the meat wasn't hot enough. The burger absolutely sucked! Reminded me of a cafeteria burger from high school. Decided to give it another try on a second night thinking it might have been an off night but got the same exact results! I'll take a Steak N Shake burger any day over one of these. I'd even take McDonalds over one of their Larkburgers. If it wasn't for the fries this place would get one star! Two different days same results. Yelpers... you let me down! You gotta wonder about the people who wrote.... "best burger I ever tasted". Really? Even if it was hot it still wouldn't have been the best.

Amazing! Ultra fresh quality beef, cooked to your desired doneness. Tillamook cheddar. Great buns, not too big and the perfect bun to meat ratio. Fresh toppings. An amazing burger for this great small local chain. Blows away in n out and Five Guys. The truffle aioli parmesian fries were awesome too.

A little background ... when we do these reviews for Yelp, we take a poll and vote on how many stars to give. This one was really easy .... five stars. The burgers are very fresh tasting. They're almost "light", which is an unusual adjective for a buger, but it fits. They don't taste greasy at all. Truffle parmesan fries are downright delicious. Shakes? No doubt some of the best we've had anywhere. One comment on some other reviews we read before going to Larkburger. Lots of people compared it to In-n-Out. One of us is a native Californian born and raised. We go there frequently when in California and now at home in Dallas. The reality is that In-n-Out is a very different kind of burger. They don't go out of their way to make it healthy or light. In-n-Out is also an unbelievably good burger, maybe even better for some depending on their taste, but Larkbuger is as good as it gets for a burger in the Vail Valley.

After spending a day in Vail (along with a million other people on New Years Day) we were starving and wanted to get away from the crowds. After a suggestion for burgers we hopped in our car and drove over to Larkburger. The atmosphere and decorations are very laid back but also green which we thought was pretty cool. They have a whole poster right next to the soda fountain explaining everything that they do to keep their store green. The fries were awesome! We had the parmesan truffle fries and the flavor was great plus it was skinny fries which made it even better. I had the turkey burger in the small size with cheese. It was fine nothing about it screamed please eat me again and the cheese was overpowering in flavor for everything on the burger. Plus beware, if you order a smaller burger it's actually the size of a slider which is not very filling! My bf had the larkburger and powered through it with no complaints, it looked good! Our friends had the mushroom burger and it looked great and they said it had good flavor and was filling. The buns for the burgers are ok nothing special aside. I can definitely think of other places I'd go for a burger but I'm glad we gave this place a shot I think it's a great concept and the food was good.

It might be an unfair comparison, but I'm going for it anyway. Larkburger is a complete disappointment for anyone who has experienced the burger bliss that is a Five Guys burger. In an attempt at fairness- Larburger is attempting to make burgers in an environmentally conscious and sustainable manner. 5Guys makes no such attempt. My main gripes: 1- NO BACON! Even the polite counter guy didn't understand it. I'm sure the lack of bacon on the menu is no oversight- it's not there on purpose! Though no one can give a solid reason. If it's a matter of organic or craft produced bacon there's no excuse- we're in Colorado local farms and curehouses are all around. 2. As a self-professed tree huggin' environmentalist I truly appreciate the effort to operate a sustainable business. It's no small task, from sourcing the product to the containers they are served in one becomes increasingly aware of exactly what a "carbon footprint" is. However, I find the practice of purchasing "green" energy credits to offset that footprint dubious at best while not really addressing the problem. Specifically, the restaurant claims to be 100% wind-powered, but there wasn't a windmill or turbine in sight. 3.The burger just wasn't good. Sloppy, strangely seasoned, and unimpressive. The fries weren't any better. Leave the truffles to the white coat chefs and just sprinkle those hand-cut potatoes with a little salt and pepper.

Went to two different Lark Burger(s) during a recent trip to Colorado. Overall a good experience. I'm a fan of their burgers, the beef they use, how they're cooked, and the "green" conscious nature of the business. A couple of criticisms in both places though (Edwards and Boulder): 1: their staff kinda seems like they don't give much of a crap. they're pretty uninterested - bordering on rude. Was excited to try these guys out and kinda bummed that the staff in both places seemed as though they couldn't be bothered. 2: the gluten free bun. Word to the wise: the gluten free bun is nothing more than cornbread. And if you've ever had cornbread, then you know that cornbread is probably one of the most "crumbly" creations ever baked. Take that knowledge and now apply it to a hamburger bun that you're supposed to be able to hold in your hands. As you can imagine, after a minute or two, you're not really holding a bun at all anymore - you're just holding all of the stuff that the bun was supposed to contain. I'm sure you get the picture. Just wish that Larkburger could figure out a way to make a better "gluten free" bun option. In the meantime, don't bother with the gluten free bun. Because after a couple of minutes it's just going to be all over your lap anyway. Overall, I'm a fan of Larkburger and I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Colorado. Good burgers - and an environmentally conscious business model. I can dig that.

OUTSTANDING! Love this place. New favorite for a good, inexpensive burger and fries. My burger was cooked just like I asked and tasted great. The Truffle-Parmesan fries were amazing. Atmosphere was clean and modern, similar to that of a Chipotle with more of a "mountain-y" feel. Nothing fancy, but really good food at a quick and affordable price. I think it was about $11-12 for the burger, fancy fries and soda fountain drink. This place really nailed it. Also would like to try the seared tuna burger on the menu for those times that call for fish over beef.

Larkburger was a bright spot for easy, rewarding dining. The daughter, GF, and me had beef, tuna, and turkey burgers; all were excellent. The turkey burger was almost a revelation for me. I tend to be a purist, so if you're going to eat a burger, make it beef or veggie, except a Larkburger Turkey burger; it was as good as beef. The fries were great. The salad was excellent. The space is pleasant, but just for eating, not dining; I'd try to do this place on take-away.

Thank goodness for Yelp or we would have never found this place! So modern, stylish, and eco-friendly! We were driving around town at night and we spotted Larkurger with its bright light shining through their windows. Like a gold miner, we knew instantly that we found it! I love the simplicity of the restaurant and the burgers tasted fresh from the grill (kind of reminded me of In 'n Out burgers). The beef patty was thick and dee-licious. I also got the truffle fries which were seasoned with parmesan, truffle oil, and parsley. They were thinly cut petite fries that were predominantly sweet. I thought it strange to have sweet fries, but I enjoyed them nonetheless and would recommend anyone to give them a try. This is a good alternative to big chain fast food. Larkburger has great quality burgers cooked to your liking and is light on the pocket.

I love burgers. This place was good. Fries were great. Tuna was a surprise stand out. Skip the special sauce or get it on the side.

This place doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles but what they do, they do perfectly! All the fixings are completely fresh. The burger is flavored simply but fantastically! It was hands down, the best and freshest burger Hubs and I have ever had. For an extra flavor punch in the mouth, order the truffle burger - it just adds a little extra something. The plain Larkburger is equally delicious! Hubs said the truffle Parmesan fries were the second best fries he's ever had - and had they not been slightly cold when we got them, they could have been first! I on the other hand, loved the burger so much that next time I will be ditching the fries, and indulging in 2 burgers instead!!!

Great ahi tuna burger! The truffle and Parmesan fries are delicious especially since I like my fries crispy. Highly recommended upscale burger joint.

Such a great idea with such terrible execution. Every time I've been , trying to give it another chance, I get a bland piece of greasy meat. It's like the kitchen staff doesn't understand the seasoning process. Salt the meat!

Amy Burger, um yes please. I usually do 2 in one sitting--and what's wonderful is that they'll totally customize it for you--also, what a treat to have another veg option besides a lackluster veggie burger! I'm not a fries person, but these were thin, not greasy, and completely tasty. I've also dabbled in the tuna burger which is nothing spectacular, but again, a nice alternative to beef. Overall, if you're a tourist, probably not worth a trip, but a nice place for locals to grab a bite.

Was in Lark Burger Edwards on June 10th, 2013 - ordered two burgers and fries to go - after waiting half an hour and asking multiple times about my order still had nothing. Restaurant not overly busy - this place is always crowded though.Several parties that ordered after us got their food within about 10-15 minutes of ordering. Eventually gave up and asked for money back - never recieved the food I ordered, staff seemed unconcerned with filling the order at all. Have eaten there multiple times in past without any problems before this. Witnessed another person's order also taking half an hour to fill. Called both numbers for the manager (Lucas) listed on business card and left messages - got no reply at all.

If you're looking for a great burger and don't have too much time to eat, then hit up Larkburger in Edwards, CO. Yes, you're going to pay more than your average fast food burger chain but the extra cost is well worth the burden on your wallet. There is not a great variety of toppings for your burger but all of the ones that they offer are delicious. Be sure to try the truffle aioli and it will have you dying to come back for more after you're done. Also, don't forget to ask for an order of the truffle parmesean fries, SO good! The service is very friendly and timely. You'll be in and out of here in no time and have also consumed a delicious burger and fries, who can beat that? McDonalds? maybe only on preparation time, but who can beat truffle burger and fries? Think about it....

This is a hidden gem in a valley full of overpriced food. For under $10 you can get a unique burger and fries. You can have the burger cooked rare to well done or just say nothing and it will be cooked perfectly pink and juicy. I think they put some sort of secret sauce on it, which makes it even better. The fries are small in shape and hard to get a hold of, but are quite tasty. This is gourmet fast-food and an eco-friendly restaurant. There is actually a sign that lists all of the reasons they are environmentally friendly. Cool restaurant with fast service and great food.

What's not to like. Best turkey burger there is. My wife gets the salad with tuna. The kids all like the fries and the edamame. The very best if fast food. Fresh, green, well priced.

Yum! The parm-truffle fries were amazing. This place was really good. The burgers were great! It's less expensive than some if the other restaurants, which isn't saying much considering everything in the vail area is expensive. We will most certainly be back!

Woof. Lark Burger was sooo good. It was just what the doctor ordered as I rolled through Colorado the other day.... Lark burger with cheddar and some truffle / Parmesan fries were on my mind for the rest of the day, its quite literally the stuff you dream of. Bring Lark Burger to Chicago!!!!

  • Melyanna S.

Uncomplicated menu, prepared well. Its all fresh and tastes that way. They got the formula down and they rock it. This is how you run a restaurant: simplicity, consistency, and quality. Every time I go here, I fall in love all over again-- I get the same thing every time, and lust for it between visits. Truffle Burger (cooked medium) with cheese can't be beat, and the strawberry shake is imperative. Only here can one get a kickass burger, fries and a shake for $12.00 without leaving hungry OR feeling you been taken advantage of.

Lark Burger, oh how I miss you. I didn't think it would be so difficult to find a burger that was comparable to yours. But, it is. Why? Why must this be a battle of epic proportions? I no longer look forward to going home to see my family, you, your what I miss. When I get back to Colorado you will be the first meal I will have. .

Really good simple and fresh burgers. I like that you can get a little lark--- or a smaller size burger---place is minimal which means crisp and clean and I like the simple menu. Truffle fries have great flavor but need to be crispy. Cute packaging presentation,

The best gluten free hamburger I have ever had! Not a huge truffle oil fan, but had to try the fries with it. Wife loved them. The chocolate shake is awesome, no Hershey syrup in it. As my wife said, we might have to do lunch here again, tomorrow!

Imagine In 'n Out but refined with the option of adding a portabella mushroom to the standard truffle burger. Although I came here hoping to be amazed by the truffle parmesan fries, I wound up liking the half chocolate and half vanilla milk shakes, edamame, and burger more. If you go there during happy hour, beers are almost half the price and cheaper than your burger. Nonetheless, this spin-off of the Larkspur restaurant at Vail is worth a try with ample parking in the strip mall lot.

Yum. Seriously. Eat here. It is one of three places (along with Avon Deli & Loaded Joes) that I have to take any guests to when they come visit. The truffle fries with Parmesan, parsley, and truffle oil as topping are ridiculously good. While it's quite easy to overindulge on these, share them with a buddy. You'll be happier in the long run. The milkshakes are awesome too. Once again, I recommend sharing, so you can actually eat all of the food you have ordered without feeling sickly glutinous afterward. I've tried all of their burgers. The regular Larkburger is wonderful. The tuna burger was okay. The truffle oil Larkburger is yummy. However, the best burger they make is the Amy Burger, which is a portobello mushroom burger. It is heavenly, delicious, and hands down THE best vegetarian burger I have had in my life. It's seriously that good. It's also messy. Be prepared to have your world rocked if you try it.

Ok this has to be one of the best burgers ever! We just moved here and we were blown away. We have taken everyone who has visited us so far! The fries are delicious and their "green" practices make you love them even more. Don't leave without a shake.

Some of the best burgers in the "nicer than fast food but not quiet a sit down" restaurant class. The burger is always perfectly cooked and the toppings are always the freshest. Can not beat the price for the quality of ingredients as well. Its always clean inside and the works are generally friendly. My GF loves the Parmesan-truffle fries, but the regular fries are good enough for me. Overall a great place and I find it hard not to stop if I am ever in the Edwards or Boulder areas. Wish there was one in Denver.

Larkburger is awesome! My husband and drove from Minturn (where we were staying) to Edwards JUST to try their burgers! I was definitely pleasantly surprised. We split the truffle burger, and it was incredible. Definitely worth a try! They also use natural/humanely raised meat (as far as I know), which makes it not only tasty, but ethically produced, too! Go try it!!

I've been trying a lot of highly rated burger joints lately, so when driving back from Fruita, why not try the Larkburger? It is a very good burger, not great... Don't get me wrong, this is way better than any large chain and worth it, but I could have just as soon driven a little further and had a better experience at Dillon Dam Brewery. I happened to be there when "corporate" was sitting on the patio. The bathroom had been flooded and smelled gross. My fries were lukewarm, with a minscule amount of truffile oil, so I won't even call them "Truffle Fries". Good bun, good toppings, good cheese, juicy, perfectly cooked burger. The edamame was a nice change of pace to fries, although they could use more salt. Finished it off with a strawberry and a chocolate shake, just ok. Nice drink selection - for a burger joint, I had Ranger IPA . I'll go back for the Truffle aioli burger and then update this review.

This is my absolute favorite place to eat in any price range. The burgers are fantastic and the fries are even better. I mainly get take out here. I also love the tuna burger, but make sure to order it well if you want it warm in the middle. It is always a great piece of ahi!

Had the Lark burger with cheese. Also got the truffle fries. My mom got the tuna burger. Nice simple menu. Comfortable environment and quality ingredients that separate it from all the other fast food burger joints. But the food was just ok for me and my mom. Also, it was difficult to find from the highway without a smart phone.

Like you, I've had a lot of hamburgers in a lot of places. Lark Burger serves the best burger I've ever paid money for. I think the sauce they use is very special. The ambiance of the place isn't much. More of a fast food lunch feel.

Highly recommended if you're craving a high-end burger. We each had the burger medium with Tillamook cheddar, with a side order of the truffle and Parmesan fries, and chocolate shakes. Absolutely fabulous. Simple spot - nothing too fancy as far as the interior goes - but exactly what you need from a burger spot.

I went for the grilled portobello mushroom instead of the meat (for shame, I know) and it was still really good -- it's marinated in something that helps keep it juicy. I stole a few bites of the husband's truffle burger (basic burger plus truffle aioli) and was slightly jealous. It's a damn good burger. But not enough to regret my "healthier" choice. Fries are skinny and crispy, not a soggy one in the bunch. Yum.

This place is trendy, green, and simple, done right. We came in by accident, couldn't wait to get to Vail on a trip back home, so we stopped here for dinner. Service: throughout our time here, the staff was pretty busy, they were quick, ready and working very hard to stay on top of the orders. You could tell they were working hard and pretty busy in the back, but they continued to be professional and pleasant when they took orders or ran food out, etc. Hard working staff that is pleasant under pressure is a very good sign. For the food: have an easy menu with burgers (beef, turkey, veggie, tuna (YUM!) and salad, chili and truffle fries (YUM!) or regular fries. He had the turkey burger, which he said was pretty good even for a turkey burger, it looked well-proportioned to the bun, although I didn't taste it myself, I was way too busy with the pan-seared tuna burger of my own, had a wasabi sauce that just made the burger perfect. The fillet was kind of an awkward fit to the bun, but there was still a great sandwich and a great serving size of fish, not scrunched down smashed, it was actually a big, juicy flake perfectly done fillet. They also have a pretty amazing thick, rich, perfect shake. We shared the small size, not sure I could handle much more, but it was pretty tasty. We will definitely be back. The place: I would say the atmosphere is a little strange, high ceilings and so with kids in there, it was kind of loud. Also, the seating isn't all that comfy, but I guess the point is eat and leave. They have bottles of beer, but nothing on tap, so it is definitely more of an eat and go type of place. One Caveat: we ordered our shake after our meal (we sat and debated and after watching several others, caved in for the shake, well, we stood there for over 12 mins waiting for our shake, while they were pretty streamlined busy, it wasn't overcrowded, finally he walked over to the cashier and pointed to the shake on the counter -she looked pretty confused, I guess she forgot we ordered it, she apologized and handed it over, we were happy to be back on the road, for our long trip home... which kind of stunk that we had to wait around for the shake, other than that, all was good here, we'll be happy to try the ones near our place.

Riding the fine line between hipster and yuppy, this trendy little burger boutique has some pretty good grub. I've had a variety of selections from the "focused/simple" menu, and while nothing stands out as epic, everything I've had has been really good. If it were a only a bit cheaper, this place would really be something special. If you are in Edwards, you should drop by to check it out!

Burgers are pretty good - moist and juicy. The truffle and parmesan fries, though, were not really my cup of tea. Sometimes a little bit of stinkiness in your food is good...but fries covered in multiple stinky bits is not my idea of goodness. Also, if you order the miniburger with cheese, they charge you the full 50 cents but only give you half a slice.

I like this place! Casual, affordable, and great burgers! You can even do a portabello mushroom burger or a turkey, but beef is king here! This is a worthwhile treat for those of us with high cholesterol!

What is the point of ordering ahead of they don't have your food ready when you get there? Took over an hour of waiting after putting my food in to receive it. The food is good, but the service really falls apart when it is busy here.

These are my favorite burgers in Colorado - whenever we're in town we always go to Larkburger. But the reason we really love this place is those delicious parmesan truffle fries. My mouth begins to water as soon as I smell them. This is a great place the get a delicious bite at a fair price.
