This Tokyo Joe's gets all five stars today because of an employee, Jiselle (I hope I spelled her name decently!)! I had three three-year-olds with me today (because I'm crazy) and after I sat them down, went to the drink station to fill their lemonades. She came over and chatted with all three of them and picked them up to allow them to touch the funky bamboo sculpture hanging from the ceiling. This was shortly after our grand entrance, when she stopped what she was doing to compliment each one on their dresses, shoes, and chat for a minute. She was very friendly and attentive to us our entire visit. My udon noodles were overcooked (seems to be a theme at TJ's... Or maybe my standards are different) but overall my dish was delicious and satisfying. The girls ate a ton of rice, chicken, and veggies, which is impressive, so they must have loved it, too. Thank you, Jiselle!! And next time I'm brave enough to venture out with all three kiddos again, I will absolutely keep this Tokyo Joe's at the top of my lunch list!

A-OK standard tasty Tokyo Joe's, but this location also has a cool huge bamboo ceiling sculpture and plenty of seating outside next to water fountains in front of the theater.

This is a typical chain restaurant. The food is what you expect and the service is okay. The place is clean and convenient to the movie theater.

This spot will tide you over when you want something asian-inspired but don't wanna drive to west Denver. I do appreciate that the portions are not overly large, but I do think the price points are kind of high for the amt of food.

I've been to several Tokyo Joe's around the metro area, but this one is probably my favorite. The location is super convenient to the movie theater, and parking is easy both on the street or in the lot down the road. This particular location is decorated well. I love all of the bamboo hanging from the ceiling. The ingredients always seem fresh, and I like how customizable the bowls are. They have a lot of different sauces; my favorites are spicy-aki and spicy peanut. I tend to go with the noodle bowls since the rice bowls seem a bit dry. The salmon is pretty good and my favorite protein choice. All things considered, it's a nutritious quick service choice as well; the calorie count can get high, but I also usually get two meals out or one order, so it's not so bad. The servers are friendly and patient if you're indecisive, and great at packaging to-go orders. Definitely a solid choice if you're in the Southglenn area.

Tokyo Joe's at Southglenn is located right next door to the Hollywood Movie Theater. It is a great place to stop by for a fast bit to eat before going to a movie. This Joe's location has plenty of indoor seating as well as a nice patio area. The salads are really fresh and healthy. My favorite, the regular Kihei Salad with grilled mahi mahi, spinach, avacado, mango and an amazing honey mango dressing has under 500 calories and is just $5.85. The Signature Rice Bowls & Noddle Bowls are also really good and very moderately priced. Joe's has a limited list of decent tasting sushi items as well. Very average. Servings are disappointingly small. For those prices I'd rather sit in a restaurant and be served, and receive a lot more food for my dollar. But to be fair, the atmosphere was nice.
