Great food, akin to Smashburger. What sets them apart is that you can't really customize your burger like you can at the other place.

Big fan of this place! Kids eat free with adult purchase after 4 on Mondays. Can't really beat that!

I really enjoyed my burger here the first 2 times I've been. The burger has great flavor and smells fantastic. I thought the fry orders were a little tiny and the prices were a touch on the high side, but staff were friendly and everything tasted great, so I know I'll be back.

Never been here before or heard of them, but I was happy that my coworkers recommended this place. It wasn't too pricey but not too cheap either. The food hit the spot though and was exactly what I needed at the time. I had the larkburger which was on par with something you would get from smash burger or anything similar to them. The burger was very fresh and probably locally sourced. If they told me they had killed the cow nearby I wouldn't have been surprised.

Been to several Larkburger locations and staff at this one seems sub par. Thankfully, my burger and fries were cooked perfectly. Front counter person couldn't serve the beer due to age so had to wait at least 10 minute on tap beer. Also, he was busy munching on something whenever he came out of kitchen. Hope it wasn't my fries.

We loved there shoestring fries that were topped with parmesan truffle oil $3.25. The small is very fresh with crisp lettuce/tomato/onion and the bread is firm with a good patty. The larger size burger is a wide as a whopper and is likewise very fresh. I would say the small is about the size of a regular burger at McDonald's but infinitely more tasty with the bun and all ingredients just much better. A small is $4.25 and large is $6.50. To add cheese and bacon is price at 75 cents and $1.50 respectively. The Crazy Mountain Pale Ale was very affordable at $2 a glass.

I was fairly impressed with my first visit, but now I think it must have been the newness. I've eaten at this location several times and the experience is steadily declining. The staff is typical fast food help, low skilled, low motivation and low attention to detail. Each time I go I ask for no house sauce on my burger and each time I get sauce on my burger. The price is on the high side for a burger joint. Burger, fries and a drink will set you back about $12. It 4 times the cost of In-n-Out for about the same experience. The food is reasonably good, so not bad place if you have no other options.

Remember we are talking about a casual dining experience. Considering this... Very very good. This is my first experience with lark burger in general, and it was very enjoyable. This particular location has a very nice staff as well. The difficult part of this process however, is everything is all a cart which makes for a pricey experience. However I recommend it to all who are OK with a $10 casual burger.

A local burger institution! I love the juicy truffle burger with the truffle fries. The quality of all the food including the toppings is the best you are going to find. It is a bit pricey for a burger but well worth it. The staff is always friendly and location is extremely clean.

We had a fabulous time at the soft opening of the Centennial location (thanks for having us, Larkburger)! We both tried the 2012 Burger Contest Truffle Burger. I had mine on a gluten-free bun and was really impressed.. As other reviewers have mentioned, it wasn't dry and crumbly like you typically find at restaurants.. You wouldn't have even guessed it was gluten free. The burger itself was delicious, the truffle wasn't overpowering and really complemented the bacon and cheddar. We split an order of the truffle fries (which is kinda small if you're like my husband and have a fairly serious appetite), and really enjoyed them. We also sampled the milkshakes.. Delicious! My husband said the strawberry was his favorite of the three. Price-wise, Larkburger is fairly economical. 2 burgers, a side of fries and 2 fountain drinks was only about $23... Which is on the cheaper side compared to other "gourmet" burger joints around Denver. Plus, it's a local chain.. Yay for supporting local business! We'll definitely be back!

I have to admit -- quite impressive. I walked into Yelp's soft opening event thinking this was probably going to be another boring wannabe hipster burger joint. Well, boring it is not. Amy Burger: $6.50 -- I went out on a whim and gave this a try. Quite a hearty vegetarian-type burger. Instead of beef, there is a large pressed mushroom with caramelized onions, lettuce, and tomatoes. The bun was nice and crispy -- dare I say, sort of reminded me of In-N-Out Burger (I swear, that was the first thing that came to mind given the slight crispiness of the bun) Denver Challenge: $7.95 -- I only had a bite of this burger since it was my husband's. He says the truffle "marinated" into the burger was just right -- not too overpowering. There was also applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and onion. He says he would not change a thing about the burger which says a lot, because he's picky. Parmesan Truffle Fries: $3.00 -- Delicious. French Fries: $2.50 -- Delicious. Think straw-like fries (again, similar in size to In-N-Out Burger) Soda Machine -- Priceless. Greatness. We really enjoyed the food and will be back. I love that they have a ton of hearty vegetarian options...I'm not exactly a vegetarian, but I love to mix things up sometimes and am glad they have "substantial" substitutes. Will be back for sure.

Wow!!! Unbelievable depth of flavor for a burger; the meat is of the highest quality, house sauce is exquisite, and the fries are out of this world. When I visited, they offered a featured special: the Denver Burger Battle 2012 Judges Choice Winner. One of the best burgers I've ever had, and I have blogged about burgers in South Africa, New Zealand, Mexico, and all over Europe and Caribbean. Thanks Lark urger for a fabulous experience; keep up the good work! The Larkburger was also a hit.

Somehow I never tried Larkburger and so when I moved almost right next to this one, it seemed time to give it a go. I have to say I love their burgers from top to bottom. The bun is soft, the beef is flavorful and well cooked and the toppings are fresh. Their fries are great too and more of a shoestring style. I have always found the service friendly and quick, plus the online ordering is great if you want to pick up dinner on the way home - order at your desk and it is ready when you ask for it (they will drop the fries when you come in to pick up). All in all they are great!

I was so happy to be invited to Larkburger's soft opening. I have only been to Larkburger once before and I was excited to try more items from the menu. I opted for the 2012 Judge's Choice Truffle Burger, cooked medium with truffle fries and a small chocolate shake. I can see why the Truffle burger was the Judge's choice, it's a delicious burger with a perfect blend of ingredients. The right hint of truffle is hard to do and can be overpowering at times and Larkburger has found a balance and made it work in this delectable burger creation. The truffle fries are pleasant, I still find these a bit salty for my taste, but that didn't keep me from finishing all of them. This was the first time I had tried a shake from Larkburger and I'm a big fan of their chocolate shake. It was rich in chocolate flavor and as smooth as silk as I sipped until I found the bottom of the cup. In retrospect I should have ordered a large. It was wonderful to be invited to the soft opening and give this new location a try. Thank you Larkburger for the wonderful food and service. I will definitely be back in the near future.

I had eaten here previously with my husband--we received burnt to the point of charred bacon and greasy burgers (funny part was, we never even mentioned that we wanted bacon but they still added it to our tab). We left thinking that we preferred Five Guys over this place any day. It seemed like it was overpriced for the taste and quality. I was so pleased when the owner offered my husband and I a gift card to have a second go at their food since he said that is not the standards that they provide at their establishment. That was super nice!

We had such a great time at Larkburger's Centennial soft opening. This was our first time to a Larksburger and we were very impressed. Service was great! Variety of items on the menu was nice. We were surprised by the Amy burger which was a vegetarian option...portonella mushroom...surprisingly delicious! I was so impressed I immediately posted some pics of our visit. Their burgers come in in a cardboard tray placed on its side...maybe for easier access when eating? If you haven't gone to a Larksburger yet, I would encourage you to check it out!

The newest Larkburger in town is probably also the best Larkburger in town! The restaurant was very nicely setup and clean. We went once during a dinner time (late dinner time) and the line was out the door! I guess you can't complain about that as the food is absolutely delicious. Getting a table can be difficult at times, and of course that was not aided by the fact that there were some very rude customers there on one visit. They just left all their garbage on the table and expected the employees to take care of it. (Thankfully the employees are very courteous and will take your garbage from your table for you, if they aren't too busy). I did notice that during the dinner rush, they were far too busy to handle anything else. The garbage containers were getting full, and more inconsiderate customers had placed their full drink cups in the small recycling part of the garbage and it had leaked their excess drink across the floor. I'm sure it was cleaned up, but probably not until they had a break from the customers. Still. Larkburger (and this Larkburger in particular) ranks highly as one of the best burgers I've ever had!

Yum! My very first Denver Yelp Event was the soft opening here. I'm very excited to have a good burger place close to my neighborhood, and Larkburger didn't disappoint! My husband and I both had the Burger Battle Champion, and it was excellent. The truffle flavor was perfect and not overwhelming, and the bacon was great too-- thick-cut and just a tiny bit sweet. My husband ordered medium and I ordered medium-well and we couldn't really tell the difference between the two (and they weren't labeled), but they both were juicy and a bit pink in the middle, so no big deal. We tried the regular fries and they were nice and crispy. They were on the salty side, but I figure I'm not worrying about nutrition anymore when I'm getting a burger. The menu has a lot of variety and is reasonably priced. Their "Little Lark" burger is only $5 even if you add cheese and bacon, which is better and cheaper than a not-very-good burger from the golden arches. The turkey burger and ahi tuna burger sounded great, too. We didn't have truffle fries because that seemed like overkill along with a truffle burger, but I'll give them a try another time. They have a strong commitment to being green and it shows-- they use pine beetle kill wood, recyclable cups, and they recycle their cooking oil. It seemed very clean even with the crowd, and the servers were totally on top of their game for their very first day. I should have eaten lunch before writing this review because now I'm hungry. I'll definitely be back!

I typically would rate Larkburger a 5, but the Centennial location has some issues. Side note: I will say that I was surprised by some of the low scoring reviews regarding the quality of the food. I will say that since I started eating at Larkburger in 2008, I truthfully never suffered from a bad tasting meal. I find the staff at this location to be very friendly, polite and accommodating. If there is ever an issue with anything, the staff makes the correction immediately without hesitation. I do agree with another reviewer that the dining and condiment area is dirty at times, even though I have seen the staff cleaning up pretty often. Part of the dirty problem stems from some of the dirtball customers that think its OK to leave the place looking like a pigsty. Clean up your mess for crying out loud! I did have an issue with their restrooms a few months ago. The sink water was too hot for my toddler son. Also, there are NO paper towels. I do like the Dyson hand drier, but the Dyson hand drier unfortunately cannot open the door for me too. I don't touch restroom door handles upon exiting if I can help it. Also, I think the toilet paper rolls are not covered exposing the tushie wipes to all kinds of germs. I complained to the Tri County Health Department and they visited this location and followed up with me as well. After a thorough check, they were in compliance. Like I said earlier, the food has always been great. Once in awhile, my order gets screwed up, buts its easily fixed. The meat is excellent. Perfectly pink like I like it and very flavorful. You really must order the Larkburger with ALL the fixin's. The burger tastes much better than a plain burger. The truffle Parmesan fries are good. I actually prefer them soggy vs crunchy. My last visit this week, the fries were crunchy. The draft beer is excellent. I love Crazy Mountain Brewery. The chicken sandwich is out of this world!! Highly recommended.

EXCELLENT BURGER! My friend went last summer and encouraged me to stop the next time I was in Denver. I eat a lot of burgers, always looks my for unique and delicious ones. This place hit a home run in my book. 1. Tasty burger. The meat was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. They use great ingredients. 2. The packaging is carefully executed. Sure, it's a small thing, but it's the little things that count. Presentation matters here. 3. The price is great. It's frustrating to find so many burger places selling $10-$15 burgers. A good burger doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg. the Lark Burger is proof of that. Next time I'm in Denver, I'll be back!

Love this restaurant, My cashier was more than helpfull, the receipt says her name was Sarah but I don't know if it's right. Will definately be back. I ordered the lark burger cooked medium with regular froes, which was delicious. Although a little pricey, it was well worth it.

By far one of the best burgers at a reasonable price I have had anywhere. Whenever I visit Denver this is one of the first places I go for food. If you like burgers...this is a MUST. The quality is great, the presentation of your meal is amazing!

Really satisfied with my afternoon meal here. I pre-ordered thinking it would be busy, but the restaurant was nearly empty when I arrived. I'm still glad to have my food waiting for me upon arrival, though. I tried the truffle burger, fries and a chocolate shake. Nothing can really beat a burger, fries and shake, am I right? The burger was juicy, with sauce bursting out the sides. The bun was very tasty but didn't quite hold onto the ingredients, making for a messy meal. The fries were the thickness of shoestrings and soft enough to bend for dipping. The chocolate shake was ok, but not as rich as I'd prefer. Solid lunch choice for the DTC work crowd, especially those with a big appetite.

Great time at Yelp Elite soft opening! Atmosphere was as expected for Larkburger - streamlined dining area (that is a bit larger than some of the other locations), wooden walls and sparking tables. Both of the girls at the register were really friendly, even with their first live day on the systems. Service was prompt and accurate. We really like the fresh burger concept and ours were made to perfection. Their truffles fries cannot be skipped, and while you're at it, pick up a $5 shake! Thanks for the invite Larkburger, we'll definitely be back!

I really wanted to like Larkburger. The biggest issue for me is their consistency. You can't order a medium-rare burger but you might get one anyway. Sometimes my burger has been cooked beyond well done and sometimes its been cooked as medium rare. The worst though was the bacon. There have been a couple of times where it was like chewing through leather and for me that will ruin my burger. The truffle in the truffle parm fries is usually nonexistent as well. I'm not sure if it is just this location as I've only eaten at other locations a few times but I can't recall experiencing the issues I have here. On the plus side the service is always top notch.

Solid food for a very reasonable price. Got a kale salad, chili, and a larkburger (a beef burger) on two separate occasions. High quality ingredients and neat packaging. Will return again when my fridge is empty.

Appreciate the ownership trying to make things right after a less than stellar visit. This place has potential, and I think their menu is very good; the portabella mushroom burger was outstanding. The fries (parmesan) were a bit soggy, but a little increase in oil temp should help that. I couldn't stop eating them, nonetheless. I want this place to do good!

I'm proud of Larkburger being local, green, and humble! I've heard of this Colorado burger giant before but have never stepped foot in one until yesterday's soft opening of this 13th location, courtesy invitation by Yelp. Now I want to visit them all! This place is so clean, the bathroom still smelled of paint. I'm sure not just because this is a brand new location, but obviously it's built into the business model: to provide quality food and service in a simple, modern, environmentally friendly manner. The menu is easy and minimal but everything I've tried boasted great flavor. I was surprised by the nutritional chart that something so good and not skimpily proportioned didn't break the calorie bank. It dawned on me that good ingredients are used in building the dishes here, rather than relying on chemically enhanced flavor agents to disguise low quality meats, like in a lot of other mediocre burger joints. We weren't skimpy on our orders either, this is what the two of us shared: FIRST ROUND: - a 2012 Burger Battle Champion, cooked medium (what can I say? It's favorablly beefy and greasy; and I'm OK with the patty not overly salted so I could taste the beef! The veggie fixings are picture-perfectly fresh. Bacon strips are thick and crunchy.) - 2 little larks with pepperjack cheese, cooked medium (believe it or not, I preferred the one without bacon and veggies which became distracting in the slider.) - Truffle & parmesan fries (wonderful shoestring fries) - a little turkey (looks red and dry but not bad at all, I'd order it again!) - a chopped kale salad (made me fall in love with, not just kale, but RAW kale! this salad has a bite to it and the dressing was so.... oily, but again, GOOD oily. I could taste the "extra virginess" of the olive oil) - a small chocolate shake and a small strawberry/vanilla shake (yeah, I asked if they could blend the strawberry and vanilla shakes together because I can't decide and they complied, so so nice of them!) SECOND HELPING: - a cup of the Angus Beef Red Chili (I just realized if you don't feel like ordering a sandwich at Larkburger, you can always just fill up on an order of the red chili with a chopped kale salad, perfectly balanced gluent-free combo meal!) - Ahi Tuna Burger, cooked medium (by far the best Ahi Tuna steak in a burger I've ever had. The sear and the outter crust made it not at all fishy!) - Chicken Burger (loved the cilantro on the juicy chicken breast, it was one flavorful chicken sandwich!) I know, that was A TON of food (we bagged up the leftovers). And Larkburger could've just hosted a tasting/sampling event and cut up a burger 4 ways or so, but they went all out and let us order whatever we want! More importantly, they cooked the food to meet their usual standard, not just to feed us. We really felt like VIPs and I'm sure that's how they treat their paying customers. Last but not least, I thought it was adorable that they used all compostable serve-wares. The materials make nice presentations and I feel green dining there! Thank you, Larkburger, you're an A! And thank you, Yelp, for the invite!

Larkburger with Cheddar well done, Truffle Parmesan Fries & a Strawberry Boulder Shake. 5.5.5. I have never had a satisfaction linger on my tastebuds like this from any other burger joint. Already planning my next excuse to indulge.

I really love a great hamburger, but rarely eat them. So, when I do, I want it to have all the bells and whistles. Larkburger delivers. Came here with a few friends for this location's "soft opening." Management was nice enough to host a few Yelp Elite members (plus a guest) to let the staff at this new location get up to speed before their official grand opening tomorrow. We were warmly greeted upon entering, and then invited to order whatever we wanted at the counter. Can't go wrong with the Denver Battle Burger. A nice soft bun, tomato, onion, lettuce, thick cut bacon, tillamook cheddar, and truffle toppings. Mmmm. I also ordered the truffle parm fries (sans parsley). My friend ordered the chicken burger, w/o tomato and sauce. When our orders came the table, my friend noticed she has both tomato (no big) and sauce. Staff were really nice and brought out a new sandwich. Later, management came by to make sure all the food was to our liking. Even though this time our food was free, I have to say I continue to be impressed by the service at Larkburger. They seem to really care about the customer experience.

We really enjoyed our visit to Lark Burger. I'd never been before so I was pretty excited to see how their burger stacks up against the rest. I went with the 2012 Burger Battle Champion which is a regular burger with Tillamook cheddar, bacon, truffle, and LTO on a gluten free bun. The burger was excellent. Cooked medium (which is similar to medium rare here- so perfect) and juicy and delicious. The truffle wasn't overly aggressive- in fact, it was a perfect addition to the burger. I enjoyed it all very much. I ordered regular fries and Hubs ordered the truffle fries. The regular fries were way too salty. The truffle fries were too- but not nearly as much. I preferred the truffle fries. The truffle taste is much more detectable in the fries than in the burger. The GF bun is by the far the best GF bun I have ever tasted. Usually they are dense and fall apart easily but this one stayed in tact and had the taste and texture of a regular bun. LOVE. I also tried their kale salad which was good but I found the dressing also much too salty. I probably wouldn't order it again based on that. Hubs had the strawberry shake and I must say, it was very tasty. Good ice cream goes a long way when making a shake! They have happy hour daily (3-6) that offers $2 beers and shakes. What a deal! I definitely appreciate Lark Burger's commitment to quality ingredients and eco-friendly containers and of course the terrific gluten free buns!

Really impressive sandwiches, clean, inviting environment. Tasty fries, but they were so small I felt like I needed to use a fork to eat them.

Ummmm yes please. Tried this for the first time and was delicious!! It was approx $25 for two burgers two truffle fries and two sodas. My husband didn't care for truffle fries but I loved them. He had the truffle burger and it's supposedly more rich in flavor, but he told me he didn't think so. But he said it was delicious. I had the larkburger and again, delicious. I wanna go back for a chicken burger, tuna burger and Amy burger.

Burgers are great tuna burger is awesome fries are awesome. Ordered the simple salad tonight and veggies where frozen so I was a little taken back by that but all and all a good burger place. My wife loves it. She has some special burger she orders not on the menu.

I appreciate a restaurant that makes minor adjustments to their standard set up to accommodate their location. This is exactly what Larkburger has done. This new location is very family and hang out friendly which it definitely shows!!!! From the communal table complete with charging stations at every seat (Bravo) to the almost any flavor of beverage you want in one machine (So Love This) it's these little things that add to the slightly revised design. The same design and brightness you have come to love but with just a few small tweeks that make it a great addition to this neighborhood and location. The same great food you are used to. Not just for burgers, the Chili and Salads are great as well. I want to wish the Best of Luck to Jason Helms, the General Manager of this location. I had met Jason a few weeks earlier at the DTC location. He's a fun guy and seems to not be afraid to be right in the middle of things even if it means cleaning up a spill or two in order to keep things running smoothly. Don't forget you can order online from this and all locations at Larkburger.com . I'll be using this soon to get my Truffle burger and fry fix!

Nice thick juicy patty with tomatoes, lettuce and onion. Good thin fries but we would have been better with one order if fries but no we had to order 2 and I could have eaten all of them. The soda machine is a trip if you haven't seen one like it before but I got the hang of it after a few glasses. Bi did see someone drinking a beer. The place is big and it was not too busy. I would go again if there weren't so many other guger places I want to try

I have to say I have a whole new view of larkburger. I've always really liked larkburger but I don't get the more expensive items. I usually stick to the larkburger. Today I went for it and we sampled things from the menu we have not gotten before. I tried the burger battle burger and it was pretty amazing. the bacon was thick and flavorful and the toppings were fresh. I swear larkburgers are some of the juiciest burgers available' and somehow this is even juicier. my daughter got the tuna burger it was good, the wasabi sauce made the sandwich. Our favorite sandwich is always the chicken burger. its the perfect amount and of spicy and its never dry., I love the combination of flavors. We shared the kale salad, its super huge and so healthy with soy and radishes, which sounds too healthy to be good but its surprisingly tasty and the textures of the salad are perfect. The only lameness is the side salad. although Bibb lettuce is lovely and somewhat gourmand, its not enough just by itself to call it a salad. throw a little kale salad on that, or a few onions and tomatoes... Bibb lettuce in a bowl does not a salad make. Moral of the story: to get the full yum effect of larkburger go for the highest dollar items, skip the drinks and share the fries. The extra couple of bucks pays off in yum factor. it takes larkburger from good to super delish yummy. and we shard the kale salad

My friend and I went to the soft opening yesterday not sure of what to expect. Needless to say, I was incredibly impressed! The kitchen seem like it was running like a well oiled machine and the staff, while nervous, did a great job providing stellar customer service. PRO TIP: One thing to know about Larkburger is that their medium is what you would expect from a medium-rare elsewhere--a solid sear with pink throughout. If you normally order a medium, I suggest asking for a "medium well" burger. I haven't had a good burger in a long time and I was really looking forward to visiting this establishment. I ordered the truffle burger and my friend ordered the larkburger. We shared the Parmesan truffle fries. The burger was fantastic! The patty is far from the fast-food patty, even at about $7/burger (which is a meal at McDonalds anyways) you get SO MUCH MORE BURGER! It was cooked to perfection and had just enough truffle flavor as to not outshine the beef. The shoestring-style truffle fries were equally delicious. I will definitely be visiting the other Larkburger locations as Centennial is quite a hike for me out in Golden, but I'm glad I was able to experience their soft-opening.

Great burger with truffles and French fries with fresh herbs and Parmezan cheese. Very clean. I love it. It is not another processed food burger place.

I am giving Larkburger 5 stars because I think it is as good as it gets for the fast casual burger (i.e. Smashburger, Five Guys, etc.). Each time I go, my burger is cooked perfectly. You can defintiely taste the difference here with fresh ingredients. The bun and sauce are great. The milkshakes are great too and are part of the happy hour drink specials.

We were so excited when one opened up down the street from us, as Larkburger was one of our favorites when we lived in Fort Collins. We are not disappointed. Best burgers in the area, and the salads are very yummy. Our kids enjoy the food, and the fries are a treat.

I like the chain's commitment to sustainable, low-landfill, local, granola etc. because that's how I shop for my own house. Feels like home walking into a place that shares my environmental stance. The food is "good". Ground sirloin burgers are my favorite, and this place does them well. I've been several times, and other people I've been with have said it's unremarkable compared with other places in the burger genre. But, I happen to think it's better than most. Maybe I'm biased because if all things are equal on taste, this place wins because almost nothing is burnable or landfill trash. My negative on Larkburger is that it tries damn hard to be a trendy place, and it shows both in their menu (truffle oil and Parmesan French fries) and their decor (displays rotating through how awesome their sourcing methods are). Places that truly become trendy get there because people love multiple aspects of a place, not necessarily because they're over the top about putting their hipster methods in your face. This particular location does cater to the adjacent high school crowd by offering them free drinks if they order something, so it does get crowded during that hour of the day that the kids are cycling through. It's relatively small so that sometimes can be a hindrance.

Had a friend drag me here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. We went during a weekday lunch rush and actually got a well prepared correct order. The burger was 4.5 stars The fries were soggy 2 star Speed of service was great but anywhere that has one of the pop machines they use has horrible experience and taste written all over it. Finish the fries and get a regular pop stand and this place could be 4-5 star

I popped in for lunch to grab a salad to go. I like the simple decor. The salad took forever when I was in a hurry, but when I got back to the office FINALLY the salad was great! Very fresh, different, and the chicken on it was delicious!

Came in here after skiing and ordered a truffleburger and truffle fries. The truffleburger was better than most and the fries were okay, but neither were substantial.

I did not attend the soft opening so I actually paid for my food unlike most of the previous reviews. On Yelp, 2 stars is "Meh. I've experienced better". And that about sums up Larkburger for me. They're good, but they're not the best in my opinion by a long shot. They deserve kudos for serving all natural ingredients along with obviously being a very green business. But I ordered a medium well burger and received a burger barely cooked to medium. Burger was fairly juicy and tasted good but I would like more char on the burger. The texture almost made me think it was microwaved. Fries were cooked properly and also tasted good. I only tried the basic Larkburger and I am basing my review on just one visit so my review might change. I will definitely try them again and I want to try the tuna burger as it sounds delicious. But if I want a guilty pleasure like a greasy burger... I'm going probably going to go to Juicy Burger, Fat Burger, 5 Guys or Smashburger first.

Just your average burger place. Nothing special worth coming back for. Burgers overcooked for my taste. Didn't care for the Parmesan truffle fries. When I got the plain next time, they were all tiny. Won't be back.

I love Larkburgers. I go often to the Alameda location. This one has the same great food, but after going to this one twice, I'm not sure I'll be back. It was so dirty both times that I left kind of disgusted. It's a shame, it's location is so convenient.

The winner of the Denver burger contest lived up to its billing: thick, juicy beef patty, great bacon, flavorful sauce. The fries were tasty, and coming here during the 3-6 pm happy hour sealed the deal: $2 for high quality beers is a bargain. But the best part is that this restaurant is totally gluten- free friendly. The GF bun was the best we've had. Finally, the attractive wood walls aren't as reflective of noise as the metal or plastic I n Chipotle or McDonalds, so even with a full restaurant the noise level is OK. We'll be back!

Always a good burger; the meat is so good I don't even feel like I need fancy toppings. Good shoestring fries, and I love the lemonade. It was busy on a Friday night, but we found enough seating for two. (Would have been more difficult with a group or family.) All in all, loved it.

Not impressed by the service but the burgers definitely speak for themselves. My home is sandwiched in between this location, tech center and the one on Hampden. I prefer the latter ones. The consistency in taste across all the chains is the same so that is a huge plus. I don't think I would ever make it a point to come to this one but if I was in the area and wanted a burger, I might swing by.

Having never been to a Larkburger before I was thrilled to get an invite to the soft opening! Got there during the first rush and everything looked great. Tried the BLT, Larkburger, fries, truffle Parmesan fries and chocolate shake. They use great thick applewood smoked bacon and their house sauce on the BLT- absolutely delicious! The Larkburger was cooked to perfection and has the house sauce as well (this stuff is gold). Fries are the super skinny variety (my fave) and tasty but you really need to splurge and get the truffle Parmesan ones as those are the bomb! Very chocolatey shake. The burgers are perfect sized for me (not south you can't eat the whole thing) but I'll probably still go with a Little Lark next time.

I have eaten here at least 5 times since they opened. The burgers are AMAZING!!! The staff is always friendly and the food is very fresh. It's a little more expensive than similar burger places, however you pay for what you get and this place is worth every dime!!!!

The food was ok but I thought it was extremely over priced for the amount of food you get. Overall we were really disappointed.

My first experience at Larkburger was very positive. Unfortunately the next time when I brought my husband it was extremely disappointing and frightening. The food is great, but if you have serious allergies, be EXTREMELY careful. He ordered a burger without onions, as noted on the receipt, but it was served with onions. When we brought it to the attention of the staff they returned the same burger with the onion just removed. (I guess no one told them this violates health code regulations, plus with an allergy, the food has already been contaminated with the allergen.) Finally, a new burger was cooked from scratch, and guess what? This burger also had onions despite the fact that a new ticket was written and labeled "onion allergy". We believe the second time getting our sandwich with onions was a malicious act. Given the quality of the food in general at Larkburger, it is a shame they ruined the experience for us. As a result, we will not return to the place I initially thought could be my favorite fast food restaurant.

Lark Burger is here!! This restaurant is AWESOME! They serve gourmet burgers and fries - try the Burger Battle - 2012 Judge's Choice Truffle Burger! They serve the finest Black Angus beef and all natural ingredients in all of their offerings. Service here is friendly and helpful... Western Centennial is soo lucky to have gotten a Lark Burger! - I'm so jealous!

Mediocre burger that was far to expensive for what I got. Roll was less than satisfactory. And the place is very noisy. Not the most comfortable seats either. Took almost 10 minutes from the time I entered, ordered and received my food. I don't think I'll go back. There are so many burger places anymore that its pointless to put up with this level of product and service.

Now this was a long time coming... The love of my life had the chance to go to the Parker Larkburger in December. Now she is not a burger person. That just made it unfair. Then she told me about how great it was. Now that is just salt in the proverbial wound. So, being the overly romantic man that I am, who plans things minutes in advance, having gotten off earlier from work then I planned, came home, swept her off her feet and convinced her that a burger was an acceptable valentines day dinner... HEY, IT WAS LARKBURGER! Now I will say that I am very picky about my burgers, and this is now on par with another of my favorite burger joints in the Denver Metro area. So some night, I will be comparing them side to side. Going back to the actual review, the burger was great, cooked to perfection. The fries were just right, not too much, and enough that I didn't feel like I needed to be taken out in a wheel barrow. The beer was kinda meh. Not enough to drop a star, but not a great beer. Oh well. The chili (ok, I might have gone overboard, but it was my first time) was very good, but obviously made to match the middle of the road for taste. And before you say, "You had chili on valentines?!?!" it was not *that* kind of chili... Anyways, a great meal and one that I will have to try again to properly review a couple burgers back to back to back ... Get on your fancy clothes Dear, it is time for 3 dates involving hamburgers in a week!

Had a really good, thick and juicy burger. Really enjoyed the food. Truffle fries were excellent. Inside was very clean and nice, although a bit too wood covered for my taste. Staff was friendly. Would definitely put this up there with the other top burger joints in town.

Oh man, Larkburger is just so consistently delicious! I haven't found an item on the menu I don't like, and I've had almost everything on the menu. Wow, all the positive reviews! I just ate there for the first time and the entire experience was terrible. The restaurant was freezing cold, ridiculously loud, and the burger had such a funny taste that I ate about three bites and threw the rest away. Just had to come home and brush the awful taste out of my mouth. Plus the fries were soggy. This place can't hold a candle to Smashburger. I just wasted over nine dollars on a burger and fries, no drink. Glad others like it because despite my bad experience, I do root for success for businesses. But they won't ever see me again. I actually feel sick.

  • Alex L.

A good juicy burger! Opening this month - the lines at 6 PM are long and seating is scarce. (Wait another month and then visit?) I particularly liked the truffle aoili burger.

  • Eric H.

I really enjoyed my burger here the first 2 times I've been. The burger has great flavor and smells fantastic. I thought the fry orders were a little tiny and the prices were a touch on the high side, but staff were friendly and everything tasted great, so I know I'll be back.

  • Rishard C.

  • Charles C.

A local burger institution! I love the juicy truffle burger with the truffle fries. The quality of all the food including the toppings is the best you are going to find. It is a bit pricey for a burger but well worth it. The staff is always friendly and location is extremely clean.

  • Athenapex C.

  • W D.

  • Jessica J.

  • Sho G.

Long line, long wait, but we were able to find a table. The burgers were GREAT! We very much enjoyed the food. The "green" angle was appreciated - recycling, reduced utilities, etc. I'm looking forward to going back.

Ordered 1 burger and 1 fries to go this evening. Was quoted 5 minutes. 25 minutes later and still no food. Would love to be able to rate the food, and it might even be good, but will ABSOLUTELY not be worth the wait.

Oh man, Larkburger is just so consistently delicious! I haven't found an item on the menu I don't like, and I've had almost everything on the menu. Last night while I was at another bar and was contemplating ordering chili, I found myself wishing I could just order Larkburger's chili. SO GOOD! But really, everything on their menu is that good. Again, consistent, delicious food. Thank you!

Love the truffle burger with Bacon, that and the truffle fries, I can't finish both so I only get the fries when I can share with someone else. I am always in search of the perfect burger and these guys are close.

  • Rolf A.

  • Alex L.

  • Larry H.

A good juicy burger! Opening this month - the lines at 6 PM are long and seating is scarce. (Wait another month and then visit?) I particularly liked the truffle aoili burger.
