While the exterior and interior of this establishment will not thrill you, the food absolutely will! We had a green curry, red curry, red curry with pumpkin and drunken noodles. Red and green curries, as well as the drunken noodles were on point! Fantastic flavor and exactly what I expected. I've never tried a red curry with pumpkin before. It impressed me with the addition of sweet pumpkin bits. It created a new taste dynamic, especially when ordered medium hot. In fact, we ordered all dishes medium hot on recommendation of my friend. He cautioned that this is not a typical Thai restaurant. If you order Thai hot, you will get exactly that. And for all who have been to Thailand, Thai hot is NOT for the feint of heart. Since we have not been preparing our stomachs for such a spicy adventure, we used caution and stuck with medium, which was perfect. A great combination of flavors from all ingredients without any overpowering tastes. I also appreciated that their water cups were about the size of pint glasses. Loved that, especially on a hot summer day. The portions were a good size and the price was reasonable. We paid $40 for all the food mentioned, before tip. Well worth the money for a dinner.

Okay, so this is hands-down THE best Thai food in the area. We have tried other Thai cuisine restaurants around here but they really just aren't as good. Everything that we have ordered here has been excellent, curry, vegetarian, non-vegetarian, appetizers, everything tastes extremely good and the spice level has been fairly even in our experience. That being said, we never actually dine-in (we have a small vivacious child) we always order delivery. Delivery usually takes anywhere from 1-hour to an hour and a half and we only live 10 minutes away. While this may deter some people - we are actually okay with it. We take it as a sign that our food is fresh (it's always hot and it tastes fresh) and we know that's how long it takes so we order well ahead of time. It's also worth mentioning that their prices are incredibly reasonable so despite the long wait it's really tough to beat Thai House.

I downgraded my previous review by two stars for the following reasons: 1.They are always short staffed, so you do not get your drinks refilled often and it may take a while to place the order. They usually have 1 waitress serving 10 or so tables. 2.The spice level is inconsistent. The curries at Thai House are excellent (definitely one of the better ones in the Greater Denver area), but the spice level varies. One day I ordered green curry medium, and I barely tasted any spice at all. On my next visit I ordered the same dish hot. Unfortunately, I couldn't even get halfway through my dish because the heat was burning my lips and my mouth. By the way, I eat a lot of spicy foods, so my tolerance level is really high. On most visits the spice level would match the requested level. 3. We were extremely let down during our last visit. First and foremost, they forgot to put any shrimps into my yellow curry noodles dish. The dish is supposed to come with chicken and shrimp as written in the menu. We promptly alerted the server of the missing shrimps . The waitress only said sorry and that's it. We thought she was going to bring out a side of shrimps but we never got anything. It's kinda sad that we didn't get to have what we paid for. 4. Pad Thai was served red(???) and it had quite a sizable chunk of an eggshell(!!!) in the dish. That's a health hazard right there. 5. Do not order soft shell crab. You will get a super teeny tiny crabie drenched in a huge amount of mediocre dough (A hint to the cooks at Thai House - when deep frying always put the food on the paper towel to absorb some of the grease). I used to love Thai House and always highly recommended the restaurant to my friends. For the most part the food is great, but the inconsistency and poor customer service are certainly the reasons why I won't be visiting the restaurant any time soon.

I had the tofu pad Thai and it was good. They served an egg roll but it was so greasy. I really wish they would've let the roll sit on an adsorbent the soak up the grease. The egg drop soup was okay. I would return again if I get the feeling of wanting Thai food. The service was great and the staff was very polite.

Aree - the owner of Thai House - is absolutely amazing to work with, she always makes my family feel so welcome. Great food too!

Food was ok. Atmosphere was disappointing. Our server had very little knowledge about the menu. At the end of the meal I asked for a to go box, she brought it to me and said "here's a container for your soup" I had chicken curry, they don't have soup on the menu. The owner parks her new Mercedes SUV right at the front door and does deliveries in it. Hmmm, chose an import over a restaurant update.

Nestled into a strip mall, the Thai House seems to be overlooked by many diners. There were several take-out orders as we were there, but few diners. The food is good, but I wouldn't say it's great. We started out with steamed dumplings, good, and spring rolls, actually quite delicious and a nice peanut-dipping sauce. I had the trio of beef, chicken, and shrimp. It was good. Nothing outstanding, but a good meal. Service is nice.

  • JJ J.

Super tasty pad kee mow. The portions are very generous for the price. Their "extra hot" isn't really that hot. I asked for their dried chili powder and when I added more, I thought it smelled extremely sweet for a pepper based powder. As other reviewers said, the service can be a bit slow/understaffed, so don't come here if you're in a rush.

We like the food here usually - probably 85% of the time. It can be a bit inconsistent, which is unfortunate because when it is right, it is very good. We like the drunken noodles, pad thai and panaag curry best. We usually do take out, the dining experience is very casual, and like the food a bit inconsistent. Service is sometimes a bit slow - they are a family run place so some of the older kids might be your server, which is fine with us. Just don't expect it to be like a Chili's or something, the food and service, for better or worst, is not very standardized.

We ordered delivery they sent me chicken fried rice when I ordered beef I call them. The lady says our beef is white when we cook it. Where they come up with that one.? Never ever had I cooked a beef product and It cooks white.

My opinion Thai House and US Thai Cafe in Edgewater are the two best Thai restaurants in the Denver area! Drunken noodles, green curry and Larb are my favorite. Their custard sticky rice dessert is the bomb!

Don't come here for service or expect a clean table. Came in today, a chilly Sunday afternoon craving nice spicy Thai food. Walked to a busy afternoon and was asked to sit at a dirty table that wasn't wipe down even after we were seated. Five minutes later a server comes over as asks "are you ready to order?" Ummmm.... Hi? I'm doing well thanks for NOT asking. I wasn't ready but I wasn't going to have her leave and not come back for 15 mins just to get drink orders. In a rush I ordered my Thai basics: tod mun (fish cakes), som tom (papaya salad), Nam tok (Thai beef salad), neu dad deaw (Thai beef jerky) and panang curry. Food is always good. Some Thai dishes could use a few flavor tweaks like more fish sauce here a touch of sugar here. Overall great Thai food. The one star is for the horrible service and lack there of. I saw a guest get up to grab napkins from a dirty table because the server was nowhere to be found. Guest after guest getting up to ask for items! SMH my appetizer plates remained at my table so did empty water glasses that were NEVER refilled during our stay. Finally after enough terrible service I asked for the remainder of my food to be boxed and the check. Our server didn't ask how everything was or why we were suddenly wanting to leave In the middle of our service. The staff does not care and it seems as though the owners don't care either. So sad that great food will go under appreciated because the servers of this small mom & pop shop do not care about the guest nor their employers. If the owners are reading this please hire new staff and train them better to make your guest happy to be dining in your establishment.

The restaurant had 3 tables seated when we walked in...it took 45 MINUTES to get our COLD Satay Chicken, we wait another 15 minutes expecting our dinner but that was a stupid decision because it never came. Amazingly the people that came in before us got there food. We told the waitress (possibly the owner) we were running out of time and she flippantly asked if we wanted to cancel our order. There are way too many Thai restaurants in the area to have to deal with this pathetic example of customer service. I should also mention that while the restaurant was getting busier, the waitress/owner went out to make a delivery and came back 20+ minutes later with a Starbucks drink! Further proof that customer service is not a priority at this restaurant.

Ordered take out from here several days ago, it wasn't bad. I got the pumpkin special and my girlfriend good the noodles, and other assorted sides. If you order over $25 then you get an order of Wonton's free. The portions are pretty large and filled both of us up. The rolls are pretty good as well. I would probably order from there again, but takeout probably, the restaurant itself looks kind of run down and beat up. The service was pretty nice when I went in for pickup though.

Amazing curries. I've tried three of them (panang, pumpkin, and the duck one) and they're all excellent, though spicier than expected but that wasn't really a problem. The restaurant was busy with only one waitress but she was pretty on the ball. One star comes off for something quite unfortunate: the terrible Subway smell that comes from next door. Still, I'd highly recommend checking it out.

Just a horrible experience, i placed two orders one which is the Royal chicken they forgot to wrap it in plastic and it was spilled all over, and the second was the panang curry and i ordered that very mild. it was not!!! it was very spicey. i called them to tell them what happened and that i didn't touch the meals and after telling them the story they were like sorry but the chef did not make the dish spicy and for the Royal chicken we are sorry about that!!!!! i don't want your pity i want you to exchange my orders.Just a horrible way to treat customers.

I just ordered pad see yew (noodles and chicken), and pad ruam mit (pork and vegetables). I'm very well versed with Thai cuisine, and this is not it.. The pad see yew was way too salty and so much msg. The pad ruam mit was all vegetables with hardly any pork. Definitly not worth the 24.00 dollars I paid for for it. 2.00 delivery charge and it took an hour to deliver.

Thai restaurant that has tasty entrees. Had a ginger dish with medium spice. It was right spice for me and fresh stir fried dish. Service is weak. Do not know how to sell menu. Instead just there to take order. Approached right away to take order before I could read menu. Asked follow up questions as I was outing food on my mouth. Them presented check before asking for desert or more tea or other. Did not know desert menu very well. I think there are better places. Could be very good but service brings it down

I am very disappointed with our latest experience here. We usually LOVE this place it is actually a "favorite" in my phone contacts. But I have now decided to no longer eat here. Last night was snowy and we didn't want to drive or cook since we just spent 2 hours in snow traffic to get home. We ordered our usual (Mongolian beef, chicken lo mein, and crab cheese wontons). Once we got the food my boyfriend took one bite of the lo mein and pulled what looked like a piece from an s.o.s wire brush (used to clean dishes) out of his mouth. We both did not want to eat anymore. We called up and told the lady what had happened, she agreed it was probably from the brush they used to clean the wok. We realize things happen and this wasn't done purposely or maliciously. We are by no means upset because of this, it was how the entire staff handled this situation. She told me to bring all of the food back in order for a full refund!! Mind you, it is blizzard conditions outside and I am starving! I am not driving anywhere! She didn't offer to remake the food and drive 2 blocks up the street to my house ( I live super close but not close enough for me to get dressed, pack up the food, and attempt to clear my car off etc....) So I brought the food back today and the young girl behind the counter never said a word! No apologies, nothing...and as were standing there, waiting for a refund, an elder lady walked out of the kitchen and just glared at us! It was super uncomfortable and a HUGE turn off!!!! She handed me cash, but I paid with a credit card, she looked at me like a deer caught in headlights! I took the cash and ordered from Rose Garden down the street. The sad thing is, my boyfriend was trying to tell her not to worry about it, that we will still be back to eat here and we understand things happen...but the girl just gave us a look and said nothing. I felt neglected as a patron, and they never even acknowledged that it was an accident, they never apologized, and they made me feel like I did something wrong...I've never had a problem with the food, but I can say customer service is not their strong suit.

The sweat is still oozing from my forehead and dripping down the back of my neck...yet, I spoon another portion of our hot green chicken curry over my mound of sticky rice. Take a nice small tug from my Kirin Ichiban and allow the malty beer the chance to extinguish the sweltering passion, which is erupting in my mouth. I add more of our hot Pad Kraphao to the pile of rice, along with another spoonful of the Triple Delight (Chicken, shrimp and beef). I prepare for another flavor explosion in my mouth, like one of those Candy Crush explosion when you combine the wrapper with a striped candy...it explodes once...but you wait...for just a second...and BAM! There it is; that second explosion. Yes. The food is fresh, extremely fresh, especially the spring rolls, served with peanut sauce on the side. Every bite just feels healthy. We were warned about the "heat" levels and loved it! Here's the crazy part, we're going back for the extra hot!

  • Katelyn J.

Okay, I am giving them THA 4 stars because the flavor of their food is so good. I always order Masaman curry and they prepare it perfectly. I have tried a few other things I their menu and I was looking impressed. I usually have it delivered to my home and most of the time it's still pretty hot by the time it gets here. My only complaint is serving sizes. I always order the 'dinner' size and pay extra for it but it's never enough. It's a very small portion. So if anything I would hope they would start giving more food. It's a total treat for me to be able to get take out when I do.... So along with the great flavors I would like a sufficient amount of food.

A great place for everyone.Carnivores, vegetarians, and even vegans! They have great tasting Thai food and are also willing to make substitutes on majority of their orders. The service may be a little slow at times; one waitress running around while several others just stand behind the counter! I will continue to eat here and bring family as often as possible, nonetheless!

I love the food at this restaurant. My favorites are Panang Curry, Pad Prig Khing and Royal Chicken. They are true to Thai cuisine and very delicious. My husband, neighbors and I have been going to Thai House since before they moved to their new location. The spicy level of the food has always been a bit inconsistent but that is part of the adventure. Plus you can always add a bit of the hot spices provided up front. Thai House is a family run restaurant that really cares and if you go often they treat you like family.

  • Chelsea G.

Loved loved loved all the rice noodle dishes that this place had! The food was great, some of the dishes were huge portions!!! The rice noodle bowl that I ordered was three meals for me! But it was just as good as leftovers the next day! The service is why I didn't give this restaurant 5 stars, they were a bit slow and just moved slow in general, but it looked like a family run restaurant with only family working there. Overall very good food and would definitely recommend it!

My new favorite thai place! The server was super nice and the food was delicious. I ordered the Papaya salad Laos style in hot and when they say hot, they mean HOT. My mouth was on fire. It was good but I'm definitely going to get the medium one next time. I ordered the the drunken noodles hot with extra veggies and it's by far the best drunken noodles I've had in a long time. I highly recommend it! I was going to order the mango and sweet rice but I was way too full for that. But will try that next time. I will be back :)

I actually came over here for sushi next door but they were closed so I quickly checked Yelp to see how the reviews on this place looked. I ordered their Pad Thai based on other reviews and it was the best Pad Thai I have have in a long while. They use good quality chicken and the shrimp was cooked perfectly! Thanks again Yelpers for another great reccomendation.

I love Thai house. Is it bad that they know our order just by hearing our address for delivery?? My favorite order is pad se ewe w/fried tofu and my husband gets it with beef. Their crab-cheese wontons (known elsewhere as crab puffs) are pretty fantastic and are a must-have with whatever we are ordering. Plan for an hour or so out when getting delivery.

Hands down best Thai food in Denver! Aree the owner/cook is extremely talented with capturing the amazing flavors she presents in each dish. I've never had a bland meal here. I can't say the same for Thai Basil, Tuk Tuk or Swing Thai all who claims to have the best Thai in Denver. The Thai house is nothing fancy it's just a little place tucked away in a strip mall. They always seem to be busy and have a number of regulars whirling in and out. I suggest trying to come in during the week for their lunch special if you can. I've tried a number of different dishes here and enjoyed them all. Amazing food, great management, clean place and good location. You won't be disappointed if you stop in. Enjoy!

I love the food here. We usually order delivery and delivery time has always been right about an hour (a little longer than I'd like, but no big deal if you know to plan ahead). The one time I dined in was a rather stressful evening as my toddler was acting up, but I remember the service just being okay. We had to ask a worker if she could move her personal items so we could sit at the one empty booth left (there were regular tables available as well, but we wanted a booth); otherwise, no major issues. They had ride-in toys stashed in a corner of the restaurant that we let my little one play in for a bit (like I said, she was acting up). But--most important of all--the food is wonderful. Really.

Well double darn. Thai House is in the doldrums to say the least. I've dropped 3 stars off my review of less than a year ago. The quality of ingredients, care of preparation, and recipes have changed. Familiar faces are gone. The last health department inspection was below their usual standards. So sad to see a decline like this but we did have a beautiful run of great Thai for the last 20 years or so from Thai House and its predecessor, Ventaine Gardens.

  • Talia T.

I cannot believe the bad service! I just called to try to order delivery, yet again even though I swore never to go here again. They wouldn't answer the phone and finally they did, the girl was less than enthused to take my order stating that it would be an hour and a half for delivery. The wait wasn't my issue it was her attitude. I told her never mind and I will NOT be trying again! You all should be ashamed at your standards.

The food was really good. Tried the Thai Fried Rice, Red Curry and Royal Chicken. Excellent mix of spices, great flavors, tasty and enjoyable food. Decent quantity for a delivery. Loved the appetizers as well.

The pad Thai was excellent. Husband had the medium pad Thai and was perfect for someone who doesn't enjoy a lot of spice.l had the hot, had some heat but did not ruin the taste. Wontons and egg rolls were also good. Service was good, considering there was only one other table. Overall, we had a very good experience and will definitely be back!!

If you like spicy, very spicy..... Go for the drunken noodles and ask for Thai spicy. One of the hottest dishes I have had in some time, and it was delicious!! Clean environment and the service is good.

Went there for Pad Thai, expecting to partake in typical Thai culture. When I started taking my clothes off, everyone averted their eyes instead of staring at my naked body. Great food, but I was very confused.

Best Thai food we have eaten since moving to Colorado 8 years ago! The restaurant itself is tucked away in an older strip mall, but appeared clean. I picked up takeout so can't comment on the service except that the cashier was pleasant. I am a little bit of a spice wimp so I ordered all our food mild based on other reviews. The Panang curry was amazing, possibly the best I have eaten. It still had a good amount of spice despite being mild, but not so much I couldn't enjoy it. I would go back just for that dish alone, but the Pad Prew Wan (Thai sweet and sour) and Pad Thai we ordered were also delicious. The Pad Thai was true to mild, I would probably attempt medium next time. Good egg rolls too. Perfect portions for a reasonable price. We finally found our new Thai place!

We frequent this place all the time. It is our goto take-out place. Their vegetarian selection is great. The pad Thai jay is my favorite. A great mom and pop joint.

Thai house is our standard asian takeout establishment. I am a lover of pad thai. It's probably...the 2nd best pad thai I've had. It's really great for those Wednesday nights when you get home and would rather not cook. I have not actually dined inside the restaurant, but something gives me the feeling that I am not alone. It looks fine though...really. The Massaman curry is also AWESOME and incredibly flavorful. Between their pad thai and their massaman curry....I'm good.

First thing the person at the counter can't speak English even though she thinks she can. Second their medium hot will burn your tongue. Third the lunch special comes with only two small pieces of chicken. Why put any chicken in it at all. I won't be going here again.

  • Sara B.

This is still my go to place for Thai food. I seriously can't get enough and would eat here everyday if my budget allowed. I crave their pad thai. Last night I went with my mom and the bf. He got the shrimp in lobster sauce which I have never tried before. It was addicting! Mom got the yellow curry noodle. This dish was amazing and came with all kinds of meats and veggies. Definitely a contender!

I went to Thai House for lunch. They have great lunch specials that include soup, spring roll, and entree for under $7. I had their Lemon Grass soup and it is amazing. Spicy, sweet, and tangy. For my entree I had the Pad Thai. I order it mild because the medium is very spicy. Also, try the Vietnamese Iced Tea, delicious.

Not the cleanest or nicest place, service is so-so, but their food is really good. Especially if you like hot, I haven't found another Asian restaurant that equals them and it's not a bitter hot, it's really good.

I haven't really had a great Thai food place since my college days in Boulder at CU. There has been a gap that needed filling for years. I can finally say that Thai House is that gap filler. My favorite Thai dish is Pad Thai. The staple dish for Thai restaurants here in the U.S. Every other place that I have gone too just did not live up to my expectations until now (besides Thai Avenue in Boulder, but haven't been there in years and heard it was under new management). I really love spicy food, so the first time I ordered the pad thai spicy, they had to double check that I wanted their Thai spicy or a regular spicy. I of course wanted the Thai spicy and it was kickin'! I really haven't had that kind of spicy in a long time and it was on point. Also, I judge the dish on how watery it is, and this is just the right moisture that they make it at. Recently we started getting their chicken skewers for appetizers and they are superb! Comes with a peanut sauce that is really tasty! To complete my meal I also get Thai tea and their beverage is made very well as well. Very pleased every time I eat here! The restaurant is very clean and the staff is super friendly! Highly recommended for those that like Thai food or want to try it for the first time.

Love going here for the lunch combo. The lemongrass soup is delicious. The green curry is one of my favorites, however the last couple of times I've ordered it medium and it's come out spiceless. It's a shame they don't take the extra steps to insure accuracy.

Finally tried it tonight as is it only 8 blocks from my house. I ordered the panang curry medium, it did not dissapoint. I can tell the chef tastes their food, the flavor and heat were spot on. Sticky rice? Yes please! My experience with the staff was excellent. Yes it was busy and yes I had to wait. But that is a good sign, it means their food is popular. If you want faster service perhaps panda express is for you. If you like taste worth waiting for, try them now.

Went there yesterday with my husband just for this place. We live down in Denver but we really love this place so we dont mind to drove all the way up here. Their pad thai is way sooooo good. My husband got the comebo pad thai with medium spice and mine was chicken pad thai with extra hot. We just cant stop eating it. And be careful if you order extra hot its REALLY hot but it cant stop me from eating the whole dish. I also ordered the Lad-Na to go. I really love it too. Next time we will try something else.

Best Thai food I've ever tried. I have tried numerous restaurants throughout the years and Thai House remains to be my favorite. Their "hot" is extremely hot and shouldn't be tried by Thai food newbies. I suggest Pad Thai, any curry, Thai iced tea, and ohhh the sesame chicken is crispy, spicy, and uniquely delicious.

Good food but their website has incorrect pricing. Either update your website or honor the pricing on your website for call in orders. Bad form.

The food is not bad but the service is TERRIBLE! Also, the portions are small, especially the large chicken coconut soup. When I called, the lady said the large soup could feed 4 people, when I got it, it was barely enough for 2 people. I would eat here more if the employees were not so rude. Even if they make you wait 45 minutes for your food, they offer no apology. Did I mention how RUDE the employees are here?

I been eating here for years before they moved into its current location. The lunch specials are great comes with egg roll , salad, and a large entree. The pad thai is some of the best around town, and if you like curry you won't be disappointed.

When I first moved to Westminster, I thought I had found one of the better Thai restaurants in the area. This still holds true given there aren't many around, but they certainly are not the best. Fishy fish fish. Everything has just too much fish oil in the dishes to the point of distracting from the rest of the flavors. For those times when I want a more Chinese dish I've found anything that has breaded chicken in it is dry and tough. I'll give it an average score since their curries are the least offensive and worth saving the leftovers. The rest gets tossed.

Always has delicious food, the drinking noodles and papaya salad are my favorite. However, although it may just be personal issues, I always seem to leave with a belly that lasts for a couple weeks.

  • Liliana S.

To start off, the food is delicious. The service and cleanliness depend on how busy the staff is. It seems like the waitresses not only wait tables but also are drivers and do deliveries so it might be that all of the sudden, one waitress walks out of the restaurant and the other(s) is left with all the work and a full house. If this happens, you will have to wait a long time for your food.

I'm a huge fan of this place for the Red Pumpkin and Masaman curries alone. They have some other dishes that are tasty but in my opinion, curry is where they really excel. The place is very small and it isn't fancy, but the service is always excellent, the food is consistently yummy and the prices are unbeatable. (Lunch portion including egg roll and soup or salad for $5.95 and dinner portions for under $10.00.) It's not fancy but it's clean. The ambiance is cozy and quirky but in a good way. And, it's almost always packed with people most any time of day. In an area where there aren't a lot of fantastic places to eat, this is a consistently tasty treat that I frequent a few times a month. They also deliver in the Arvada/Westminster area which is an added bonus if you live out this way. I'm glad these guys are in the neighborhood!

I've been frequenting Thai House for several years now, the food is wonderful and consistent. Delivery is slow, but it's not something we use often. You really can't beat their lunch special. All hail green curry!! Great, now I'm hungry...

This was THE WORST thai food I've ever had! The pad thai was absolutely horrible and disgusting. It tasted nothing like pad thai. It was plain and not flavorable what so ever. It was unappealing visually & taste wise. I will never go to place again. Never again!!!!

We ate there last night. The food was very good but the service was marginal, at best. We did not get our drinks until the entrees were delivered. Be advised that if you do not have an ID, no matter how old you look, you will not be served alcohol. My partner who is 63 forgot her ID and was not served.

I'm writing this review with a mouthful of leftover Green Curry from last night's visit to Thai House. It is so good that I can't stop eating it. And the portions are so generous that I happily still have plenty left. Its probably not the most authentic Thai, but man is it tasty. Sweet, spicy, floral - with lots of basil and tender chicken. As much as I love this dish- looking forward to trying the duck and pineapple curry next time.

IT'S GOOD!!!! Best Thai we've had in Denver metro. Used to live somewhere with lots of great Thai food and have had trouble finding anything comparable. Very happy we tried it :). Bonus points for the cute little kid there who told me his name was Spider-Man.

Soup, stuffed chicken wing, and thai spicy sausage were great. Just what I needed after days of deli sandwiches!

Generous amounts with good flavor. Definitely spicier than most. The panang curry seemed on the sweet side. Wonder if they sweeten it, why and with what? Anyway, the extra veggies($2) and steamed tofu were worth it. Good portion size for $9. Lunch specials are cheaper yet. Typical strip-mall restaurant, but their food helps their cause.

Drove around N Wadsworth & N Sheridan area post-workout looking for a new place, and stumbled across Thai House, in a little collection of strip buildings loosely jumbled around a strip mall. First piece of advice: if you're driving around at night in this complex, and you loop in from 80th, and turn right, and then there is another sign after that that says "thai house (right arrow), *do not turn that way*. That's not the building you're looking for. Keep going past that sign and turn LEFT. You'll be next to a little strip building with "The Egg and I", "Papa John's", and yay, finally, Thai House. I walked in and, like other people who have commented, the decor is nothing fancy here. Small tables for 2 and 4 scattered across the floor, and booths typically built to seat 4 along the walls. Small Thai-design statues and a few prints go along the walls, and the lighting in the place seems to lean towards a yellow tinge, not white. At the order counter, there are 2 small plaques there displaying awards from Citysearch in 2007/2008 for, I don't recall the exact wording, but along the lines of "Best Thai In Denver". I was somewhat skeptical but it wouldn 't be the first time some small, no-frills decor place had great food. They also have a $6.50 lunch buffet, and most lunch specials seem to be priced at $5.95. Thai House has all the stereotypical Thai foods here and a few unique looking ones (pumpkin red curry, awesome, gotta try that!), as well as 9 vegetarian dishes on their menu - and 12 different types of salads. Some of the unusual dishes were "Saiua", which is spicy Thai sausage with ginger, fresh chili, peanuts and lettuce; and "mee krob", which are fried rice sticks with pork, shrimp and tofu stir-fried in a special sauce. You can order your foods at 5 levels of heat: mild, medium, hot, extra hot, and "thai hot". After perusing the menu for a good 10+ minutes (there were that many tempting selections) I ordered a small (16 oz) "tom kar kai" (chicken, coconut and lemongrass soup), 2 spring rolls, and finally gave up and ordered the panang curry, spiced medium as well as the soup. The soup is very flavorful although I'd say it was spiced "hot" versus the medium...no biggie though, it's still delicious and doesn't burn for minutes in your mouth The rich liquid portion tastes like a combination of coconut milk and cream of tomato soup -- so good. The spring rolls are great and forego the rice noodles in favor of fresh herbs and veggies, which was a pleasant change (not that I hate rice noodles, it was just a cool changeup). I ordered pork with my panang curry and the meat was very tender, swimming in a gravy of bamboo shoots, basil and of course, the curry and coconut milk. It was served with glutinous white rice which suits the dish well, better than normal white rice, I'd venture to say. You can substitute noodles for rice in any non-noodle dish, but it'll run you $2 extra...more than the $1 or even free substitutions in some places. Staff was pleasant, and food came out in about 10 minutes time; 1 order of the curry and rice is probably enough to carry you into 2 meals, almost definitely if you have a side with it like I did. They do have beer and wine, I didn't observe any hard booze here. Low on pretention, high on flavor -- I'll be back for sure! It's not the best Thai I've had, but it seems to be solidly good fare.

Great Thai food and great service. I've been in here twice and will definitely be a repeat customer. The first time I went by myself and had the pad thai (medium spicy) and a thai iced tea. The pad thai came in a large portion, with just enough spice to it, and my thai iced tea was delicious. Even though I was alone, they were still very attentive and provided me with good service. The second time I showed up with my grandmother-in-law and wife for Mother's Day, and again was greeted with great service. They even gave us tiny dessert bowls on the house. I ordered the panang curry and a thai iced tea (seriously, you have to get one-- they are addictive), and once again enjoyed it. I've traveled around Thailand and consider the food here to be comparable to some of the places I ate at over there.

Let's just say I'm trying to pace my Thai tea consumption just right...first of all, they deliver, which is awesome. I tried it for the first time today thank to the Yelp app pointing out the obvious (it's 3.5 miles away from me) and they were quite busy! The phone rang 20 times or so and when they answered they warned me the wait could be 60 minutes, which then changed to 80 minutes by the end of the order, with a final "is that OK?" just to be sure I knew what I was getting into. I knew it'd be worth the wait. The Thai tea was not straight from a bottle and had the right amount of bitter woodiness to contrast with the sweet and creamy elements, without being cloyingly sweet. It was layered nicely without getting all mixed up in delivery. I'm no connoisseur of Thai food but I like to pretend that I am able to form an initial good first impression based on the Thai tea alone and woodiness is always goodiness in my experience. I asked for my Panang curry to be "as hot as you make it" and they didn't disappoint. It's hotter than hell, right off the bat in your face with deep flavor and heat and with a lingering but not exhaustingly long finish; the pure heat aspect really only overtakes the other flavors towards the end of each bite. Let's just say I didn't give my son a kiss goodnight as he wandered off with mom to start bedtime. There are clear red warnings of the heat to come tinged through the sauce, and the sauce had a thick rib-stickin' quality that isn't typical in the curries I've had elsewhere. I enjoy the qualities of both thick and runnier curries really, but it was an interesting change that didn't fit my typical and limited view of "Thai curry." I ordered spring rolls, which were similar to the fresh rolls served in Vietnamese restaurants, with the requisite peanut sauce. Good but quite messy; towards the end I realized it was because they were stuffed with veggies rather than having any rice noodles to speak of. This was a good thing in my estimation. All in all, hot-as-hell flavorful curry at a reasonable price and brought to my door is a five star proposition. They provided a ton of rice which is decent, not that high-end aromatic fluffy stuff but more like what you'd get in a standard fare Chinese restaurant. On closer inspection I may have just burned out my Jasmine detecting sensors as it does smell aromatic when I hold a handful up to my nose :) The curry sauce makes any rice delicious and the mark of a good Thai curry to me beyond anything else is that it makes me want to eat all of the rice, and keep adding more curry to the remaining rice until my "leftovers for later" dwindle to nothing. Even as my mouth burns with pain, new bites cut through the heat with blasts of flavor. Good stuff!

FINALLY! A thai restaurant that has passed the pad see ew test....and with flying colors. How is it such a simple dish of flat rice noodles can be so difficult to master? One has too many onions..another diseased with red pepper flakes...and yet another one that comes in an infant size portion? As we walked in the Thai House and surveyed the menu, I asked my boyfriend what he was ordering. Pad see ew. Me too. One with chicken. One with pork. "Let's see if it passes the test!" he says. Not to be overwhelmed by pepper flakes again I ask for medium heat and was pleased to see that the peppers were not the huge ladybug flakes but properly grounded to flecks. The sauce was incredible and the veggies crunchy and not overcooked. Both chicken and pork were cut in small size portions so you can always get some noodles in with each bite. At last, I can let out a burp of relief as I have found the thai place to eat!

This restaurant has great food, but do not do home delivery. The person who answers the phone does not know the menu, is really scatterbrained. I waited over 2 hours for delivery and finally cancelled my order. Ther was not even an apology or an effort to keep my future business. I felt sorry for her as I suspect she has not been trained well. Unfortunately, it cost them a customer.

I am a big fan of Thai House. They have really robust menu items and the flavors are amazing! Definitely swings towards the 'hot' side with their curries and soups, but hey, no one ever got very far in life without living on the edge, right? :) I love their prices, but one thing to keep in mind is that they do not move at a fast pace! If you are going here with a group or for a quick bite, you might want to get the food to go. Everything is made fresh so you should expect to wait for a bit before you get your meal - which I'm always fine with, considering the delicious end results!

So, I love Asian Foods. All kinds. And I am from South Florida, which has some *Amazing* (and some not-so-amazing) Thai Restaurants. Thai House, unfortunately, fits right into that "Not-So-Amazing" category. Thai House was recommended to me by a few different people, and it's close to home, so we decided to try it. As a few other reviewers mentioned, this is most definitely NOT Authentic Thai food. I'm not sure what I'd classify it as, but it ain't Thai. The food was lacking in any spice, seasoning, or flavor. It was just boring. The Pad Thai is a *huge* disappointment. Please, do NOT order Pad Thai, you'll be scarred for life. Aside from the boring, flavorless morsels of Rice Noodle and Vegetables, we tried a Spring Roll, which was soggy and chewey... not good qualities. Also... Ambiance = Zilch. I don't mind this if a place serves great food, but Thai House... you've got some serious work to do here.

The Panang curry is the best you'll ever have. Medium spicy is probably a hot at some places. They are super good at accommodating food allergies. It is family run and super authentic. It's affordable and family friendly.

I heard about this from my friend for their Thai Teas. I agree the decor is pretty shabby but I thought the food was quite good. I got a stirfry peanut sauce dish thing that I really liked. I love their thai teas for sure. The woman who served us was a little...full of herself (for lack of a better phrase) and ignored me and focused on my boyfriend for most of the time. Our food came out pretty quickly and everyone else is pretty friendly.

I absolutely love the sesame chicken from this place, but it's fire engine red! That scares the hell outta me. Not only that, when I took my mom and tried to order somethin different (drunken noodles or something like that) it was awful. When I explained that it was nasty, they told me I had to pay for it anyways and they would NOT offer anything else. The lady that runs the place has no problem reprimanding or be getting irritated at her staff in front of customers and there was a guy the last time I ordered that was rather rude. I'm sorry, but crispy chicken or not, I won't be going back. Damn, and I really liked the sticky rice and coconut milk too...but again, they wouldn't let me just order that without the custard or mango. The mango is always either overripe or underripe. I can make my own sticky rice and pour coconut milk over it at home for far less than $5 so....

The kid who works there was rude on the phone and when we went in to pick up the food. The food was super oily and disappointing. Won't be ordering from here again.

I've been going to Thai House for years, since it was in a run down shopping center on 72nd and Sheridan. I'd have to say that Thai House has to have the tastiest green curry I've had- EVER. I have meant to try other things, as I have heard their pad thai is good as well, but I just can't make myself order anything other than the green curry. If you go during lunch, they have a $5.95 lunch special... soup (which is amazing), an eggroll (meh) and a full size serving of an entree. You can't beat that with a stick! On a side note- the service is interesting. Sometimes really good, sometimes kinda hateful. But really I am willing to overlook that for all the other awesomeness here.

We went here the other day and we both got the pad thai. I ordered medium heat and am thankful I did not order the hot! It was plenty spicy! The only thing that caught me off guard was when the pad thai came out with red noodles. I guess it is either cooked in something that makes it red or the noodles they use are just red. No idea. I have had pad thai from several different places and this was my first red noodle experience. The pad thai itself tasted ok. I've had better. Service was good and they were on top of making sure the water glasses were filled. I may go back to Thai House to try something else before I rule out going there again.

Our household has been lamenting the lack of a really good thai place in our area, so we were happy when some good friends told us about Thai House, near their home. I've tried leftover take-out from them before, and it was good enough to warrant a visit. The place is not very big - located between a Papa John's and a Subway, but like many small places, it's got a big heart. The atmosphere is casual, and the dining area is clean and comfortable. I'm told that the service isn't always great, but our server tonight was excellent and very attentive. We never had to wait for anything. The menu has a good selection of items - not so many that it's confusing, but plenty of different types of food to try. Well-rounded without being overdone. There is even a good selection of vegetarian items for those poor folks who choose to deprive themselves. The food was superb. Truly delicious. It's certainly the best thai food I've had since leaving South Florida years ago (though most South Florida thai restaurants were southern thai which is a bit different). We ordered some appetizers to begin with - stuffed fried wontons (not necessarily very thai, but tasty), satay chicken (some of the best I've ever had), and spring rolls (loaded with crisp fresh vegetables and shrimp). Definitely high quality. I think I could have cheerfully just ordered a bunch of appetizers and eaten myself silly on them. We also tried the thai iced coffee - very good, and thai iced tea with boba (large tapioca pearls), which was delightful. One of our party - the fussiest eater - ordered a Tom Ka Kai soup, and pronounced it excellent. For entrees, the green curry, red curry, and pad thai were very good, but those of us who had the pineapple duck curry, I think, got the best food of the evening. I highly recommend it to anyone. The portion size was more than adequate - mine was enough to comfortably fill me up, and I'm a pretty big eater (it's a coyote thing). A couple folks ended up taking home some leftovers. Most dishes (marked with a pepper symbol) can be ordered at different levels of spice - mild, medium, hot, and extra hot. I asked our server whether "extra hot" meant "thai hot," and he said it did indeed. When I ordered and was trying to decide whether to go with "thai hot," he looked a little alarmed, and asked "before you order that, have you eaten our spicy food here before?" That's a good sign when you like spicy stuff. "Hot" was tasty, and probably above the average person's pain threshold, but I'm definitely going for extra hot next time. In all, the service was fast and efficient, the food was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. We spent about a hundred dollars for six people, but some of that was purchasing multiple items to try for the first time. I can recommend Thai House on Sheridan. It's almost certainly going to be our go-to place for Thai food in our area.

When we were new to the area, we were happy to find Thai food that could pack the heat. Lunch was the best time to go because the dinner portions, especially take out, are small for the price. On every occasion, I substituted bell peppers for any other vegetable but on this night, the waitress said no substitutions and if I wanted a different veggie, it would be $2. That, and our last visit which left my husband with extreme gastro problems are the reasons we will never go to Thai House again. Beware of the young boy who works there, I'm not sure if he washes his hands.

This is the BEST Thai Food I have found in the Denver Metro area. I live in Downtown Denver and there are MANY trendy thai places but nothing is as authentic or delicious as Thai House. I highly recommend the Chicken Coconut Soup, the Pad Thai, Pad See-ew, and Rad Na noodles. All SOOO delicious. The owners are also the nicest people and remember us every time we show up. They also have fantastic and very cheap lunch specials so if you are around this part of town during the weekday lunch then stop in!

"Woah dude, my pad thai is like, pepto bismol pink," is what I said when I thought I was tripping balls when my pad thai came out pink. I'll be honest with you, I thought this place was going to come correct when I noticed the legit-looking pictures of curry with real Thai eggplants. Then my food came and I realized those pictures are stock photos of someone else's cooking. The pad thai that I received resembled care bear vomit and the curry was fit for a farang: rich but very, very bland. The care bear vomit was historically bad, sweet, sticky, drenched in oil...and did I mention that it was pink? I'm not sure how they got it to be such an unnatural pink color, but needless to say, I was quite disappointed.

Came here for the first time with a friend. ordered the drunken noodle and medium for the spiciness. Turned out to be a lot more spicier than I expected but the robust flavors were great. I've had several drunken noodles and they end up being really greasy and this one did not have that oily texture. Definetly like this place, the food was authentic, and the food came out legit! Service was fast, considering it was on a slower day.

This has become one of our favorites in the north part of town. It meets all my criteria of being locally owned and operated as well as having great food that is reasonably priced. This restaurant does a lot of carry out but it also has a nice dining area for a strip mall setting. There are banks of booths that line both sides and tables are in the center. It is very inviting and not too big. All the food is prepared fresh. In fact, so fresh that the food comes out immediately after it is prepared so if you are dining with friends, the meals will come out at different times but all within a few minutes of each other. There are many dishes to select from including vegetarian plates. You usually have a selection of shrimp, chicken, beef or pork to each dish. Watch out for the sauces though. I order mild and it is about my maximum amount of spice I can handle. They also serve wine and beer here at reasonable prices and a nice pot of Jasmine tea if you enjoy something comforting at the end of the day.

Haven't tried their curry, but the noodles were excellent. No quite J Noodle Star Thai good, but definitely #2 in the Denver metro area. They get a little boost for being the only decent thai that delivers to my house. I recommend you try it- probably wont be disappointed.

The Thai House used to get my 5 star rating and was one of our family's favorite places to go. Unfortunately, the new management has let their standards slip. A young kid seems to run things on the floor and he is incompetent. Last time I was there, I made an order but received the wring dish. When I asked for the right dish, a person who could hardly speak English refused. So I asked another waiter and the second time they brought out the wrong dish. So tonight I called up to make sure that I would receive the right dish. The young kid answered and told me that he could not guarantee that I would get what I asked for... This is appalling and I will never go there again, at least until the management changes.

This place might have earned 3 stars if not for the bad service. I ordered the Tom Kai soup and the Pad Thai with "chicken". My soup came reasonably quick and it was ok. Not great, but not bad. It wasn't too long when I think the cook brought my Pad Thai and right away I noticed it had shrimp. I had asked the guy for a water refill. I don't know where the waitress was at, I think she left for a while because she walked through the front door a while later. Anyway, I never got my water, I had to walk up to the counter and ask for the water refill. While there I asked the guy (cook?) if they usually put shrimp in their chicken pad thai, and he said yes that's the way it comes. I asked if the tails were left on the shrimp on purpose and he said yes. As mentioned in another post, the pad thai was red in color. Almost blood red. It was ok, definitely not authentic by any stretch of the imagination. I never saw the wait staff again until I was done and they brought my check. I won't go back. It's a hole in the wall place with bad service. And if a customer asks for chicken, you should point out that the dish includes shrimp. Then again, I certainly this is a dish that is made fresh, so you should make it the way the customer asks. And if you are going to put shrimp in a stir-fry dish, you need to remove the tails. I'd steer clear of this place. There are many better choices for authentic thai food in this city.

Disappointingly bad food. I came in for lunch. The lemongrass soup was too salty to be edible, the pad thai cloyingly sweet and of an orange-red color not found in nature. It basically looked and tasted like thai food you would make from a box at home. Thai food can be so delicious and healthy; there's no excuse for messing it up like this. Not having air conditioning on a scorching day didn't improve my impression of the place, either. I'm not going back.

I still love the Thai House. Whether or not it's really authentic Thai, I dunno... but what I do know, is that it's tasty. We went for dinner last night and it was pretty busy with two large groups and a few take out customers. Service was extremely pleasant & courteous. While lunch entrees are individual, dinner entrees are served family style. So be prepared to take home leftovers or just share a dish. We each had a cup of soup. The spicy seafood lemongrass soup is good, but all you get is shrimp. The coconut chicken lemongrass one is also good ... a creamy broth compared to the seafood one which is a clear broth. Both are spicy and I love the lemongrass flavor. We shared the Masaman curry with pork which had fantastic flavor, however I'm not sure where the potatoes were. Ordered it hot and it had that nice sneaky spiciness. The peanutty flavor was delicious as well. And because we were apparently feeling like nuts, we ordered the vegetables & tofu with peanut sauce. You have a choice of steamed or fried tofu. The fried tofu is definitely the way to go. The light crispiness is great. A light peanut sauce is drizzled over a variety of broccoli, carrots, cabbage, baby corn, and a some other greens. So far, the only thing I would not recommend is the pad-thai ... but the rest of the items I've had are solid. Next time I'm trying the pumpkin curry!

Thai House is a very solid Thai restaurant which features a robust menu, good prices and solid service. Typically I just get whatever the waiter recommends, and as much as I love curry, I still have yet to try it here, though I am anxious to do so. Everything I have tried thus far is above average, though my favorite local Thai joint in Colorado is still Pattaya Thai (just north of Colfax on Wadsworth). A word of warning: Thai-hot is F*****G HOT! Seriously. I'm a huge fan of extremely spicy food and I ask for Thai-hot in every Thai restaurant I frequent, but Thai House is definitely the hottest. Of course, it probably didn't help when the friendly waiter warned me how hot their Thai-hot is and I replied with "bring it on". Big mistake. Anyways, I definitely recommend checking this place out.

The Thai House restaurant has amazing food. So flavorful!!! The Laos style papaya salad is so spicy and delicious. The pad thai amazing and red curry with tofu awesome! Yesterday was the first time I went there with my good friend and we really enjoyed so much that we could not stop eating. I will have to go back there again and I definetly recommend this place to those who are fans of Thai food.

Thai House is one of the best Thai restaurants in the northern Denver area, if not all of Denver. I've read some reviews that says it's not the most authentic (if you've ever seen their Pad Thai, you might know why), but really, it's the taste that counts, right? I've been eating at Thai House for at least 5 years, since before they had to move from their old location. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal and it seems like I've tried just about everything on the menu. To start things out, their Tom Yum soup is a most excellent choice. It's got big chunks of veggies and lots of flavor. Watch out for the large pieces of lemon grass and ginger, unless you need something to chew on until your food arrives. I usually order the Royal Chicken, which has chicken, veggies and cashews. It's a spicy dish. My wife usually orders the Ginger Chicken, which has a nice delicate ginger flavor. It's not a spicy dish, but tastes great if you ask for it spicy as well. For dessert, the mango sticky rice is amazing. The mangoes are always very soft and not stringy. The rice is super sticky and tastes like it was boiled in coconut milk. Unfortunately, it's not always in season, so get it when you can. There are a few negatives to go with all of the positives. When they changed locations, service and waiting times were very inconsistent. I think they've gotten past that now, as my food is always ready for takeout when I show up. The most inconsistent thing I've encountered is their level of spice. There are times when "Medium" is almost more than I can handle, and I like it spicy. Then there are other times when "Hot" isn't very hot at all. My wife and I have kept going back for years and are still happy with Thai House. It's a great restaurant and now that it's so close to home, life is good!

Overall, it's pretty good. Go for the curries (massaman is unreal), stay away from the pad thai, and try and catch the mango and sticky rice in season. Lunch special is awesome m-f, but the food seems to reflect the lower price. I recommend trying it out for dinner first... Honestly, it seems to be lacking lately. I keep going back, but sometimes I wonder if that's not just because it's so close and convenient...

I don't how is it in Thailand but this is one thing that diminishes the taste. This place was ok. The Thai figurines and pictures in the wall look nice but nothing out of the ordinary. The food was good priced. The flavors were all there but the sugar? I don't know if they'retrying to mask the spiciness or what but I hated it. The tom yang goon (sp?) soup was there with the taste but the sugar ruined it. The fish was there with the taste but the sugar ruined it. I've had it before without the sugar in other thai places so don't tell me it cannot be done. There's a lot of potential here.

Truly great food especially for the price! Great find! My only complaint was the Thai iced tea was too sweet- too much condensed milk. Would eat here as often as I could if I lived here.

Thai House, I've had it for lunch before, and tonight I took the fam there for supper. Mama had the Pad Thai, with chicken and shrimp. I had the drunken noodle, Thai hot. I also had a bowl of the coconut lemon chicken soup, hot which was pretty tasty. The kids had rice and egg drop soup which was a little too thick for my taste. Wifey enjoyed her meal. She ordered it medium and she was pretty happy with the heat level. I had the drunken noodle Thai hot and it was one of the spiciest meals I've ever had. I enjoy a healthy shot of capsaicin, I think it keeps the blood flowing and the taste buds on their toes. The Thai hot delivered, I've ordered that level of spiciness at other places and it was never like this. The food portions are huge, one plate for dinner is enough to serve 2 people, we have plenty of leftovers for the weekend. MMMMM leftovers...Word.

We went here for a while because the food is OK...I do like the peanut sauce. However the service is another thing...one bad experience after another. After the latest one where they (again) wouldn't fix it and didn't apologize, we are done. There are plenty of Thai places that actually want your business and show it with their service.

Oh my goodness. This is my comfort food place. If you really want authentic Thai, this is the place! The people here are lovely and super friendly. The offer everything you need. But the food is just incredible, spices and sauces are never overdone and everything is flavorful. I moved to Aurora so I come back whenever I'm near, not matter what! Everything is also a very reasonable price, Personally, I think it's pretty cheap for the amount of food that you get and the quality that it is. Truly the best Thai in the Denver area.

Eh, skip it. Sesame chicken was extremely dry and tasted old. Pad kring pik was tasty but had a weird taste like the coating of the wok. Disappointing and there are WAY better Thai options in the area. I've had better food at Panda Express sad to say.

I was unimpressed. When I got to the restaurant, I waited to be seated by the one waitress on duty who questioned, "By yourself?" I guess maybe I was a little sensitive, but honestly, I felt judged in a not so good way for attempting to eat alone. Anyway, I was brought to a dirty booth, and though she thought a minute to seat me at another one, she ended up deciding to just wipe off the table in the corner behind the dirty aquarium. She didn't dry the table, however; so, my dinner napkin was sopping, and I couldn't put the book I had brought on the table for fear the pages face the same fate. I ordered the red curry with pumpkin thinking that it was a rare find on a menu. It was all right. The dish didn't seem different from other red curry I've had save for one bite of what I could make out to be pumpkin. The restaurant wasn't super busy, but the waitress was taking time to eat her own meal in between checking on me and the other four tables. I had to get up to ask for a to-go box and the check. I'd rather eat at Thai Flavor, with it's cheesier decor and friendlier service.

This place is excellent!!! Everybody that works here is real Thai. I spent some time in Thailand and I am definitely a huge fan. I actually saw a Thai Buddhist Monk in a robe there one day. I have had a lot of dishes in there and they have been very Thai succulent. If you are a Pad Thai fan then they have a unique family recipe to die for. The Drunken noodles with chicken are amazing. I have had numerous other garlic chicken veggie dishes that were amazing too. I'm not a big curry fan so I can not comment on that but I'm sure it's good. And I had great spring rolls there the last time. This place is definitely worth checking out! I have eaten at most Thai restaurants in Denver and I think this is the best. Remember, you can get Thai hot here so be careful ordering on the spice.

I have been here a few times, and it is always OK. There is something about their curry that tastes a little overly fishy and nothing seems to be very spicy. Overall, a so-so experience.

The peanut sauce here is really good. The first time I had it was on "Paradise Fish" in which the fish is fried and then smothered with peanut sauce. The second time I had it was on a basic veggie dish with steamed tofu -- once again, this was awesome.

Ok...here is the truth...i will eat just about anything...Thai House is pretty good. Not the best, not outstanding, does NOT suck...just pretty good and VERY reasonably priced.

We needed some Tom Kar Kai, so I ordered out based on Lindsey's review. The soup was awesome, some of the best we've had. I wasn't all that impressed with the spring rolls, they had too much lettuce. I'm not saying that they were chincy with the shrimp, but that I would rather have a slightly smaller spring roll with less lettuce. I also don't think I'll be ordering the Pad Thai again, but we'll see. It's kind of a staple, after all. They do deliver, but I recommend picking it up yourself- they charge a nominal deliver fee, and it takes about 30 minutes longer to get your food (per their estimate).

Nice little Thai restaurant. The food is very good, runs a little on the spicy side. Would have been 5 stars but it took 30 min to get our food once we ordered.

Decent Thai food served by friendly, hard-working folks. I wouldn't go miles out of my way for Thai House, but it's a good destination when you're hungry, just got off work, and want a good Thai meal.

Yum Yum! My husband and I are on a constant search for the best Thai restaurant. We love Thai House for it's great service, excellent flavors and eccentric decor. The Pad Thai is a scary red color from the dye but if you close your eyes it is delicious! Sweet and spicy and the noodles are a good texture, not too gummy, not too firm. The Pad Thai is traditional as it comes with both chicken and shrimp which is a bonus for me since I my hubby hates shrimp and I get his too! The fried tofu appetizer is HEAVENLY. Try it with the peanut sauce instead of the sweet/salty liquid they normally serve with it. You won't be disappointed! They cubes are creamy and soft inside and perfectly crunchy and hot on the outside. I also love the Drunken Noodles and the Cashew Chicken dish. The stuffed chicken wings I'd pass as well as the sausage wraps but most of everything else is yummy! P.S. The take-out portions are HUGE! They can barely close the box top over the mound of noodles and beansprouts. VERDICT- Cheap and easy with lovely takeout portions. Definitely a yes.

Ah yes, Thai House. The only place where you can get a great serving of pad thai or drunken noodles for less than a Hamilton or two Lincolns. Stop by for lunch the other, other day with a few friends and, as usual, enjoyed a good meal. Ordered myself the drunken noodles, with "Thai Hot" sauce of course, and shared a bowl of red curry. This would have been a 5-star review had it not been for the lack of rice... and chopsticks. I had to order a side of rice ($2) and eat with a fork because there weren't any chopsticks. How could an Asian restaurant deprive an Asian man of the two essentials of any meal: rice and chopsticks?!

Once I found out the Mussaman curry was pre-made it all seemed to go downhill from there. They brought out a dish of bright red Pad Thai which I still can't figure out why it looked like that. I have never seen Pad Thai look this way before. Peanut sauce on the satay was definitely from a can, not fresh and kind of gooey... I think I'll skip it in the future

I LOVE this place! It's the best Thai food I've found in Denver so far and is very reasonably priced. I recommend the red curry, delish!

Thai House is my favorite for Thai food in my neighborhood. Plus, they deliver so that's a bonus for me. I love the Panang Chicken - Thai Hot and the Crab Meat and Cheese Wontons. Service is good and the people have always been friendly either in the restaurant or delivering to my home.

This place serves great food! My favorites are Pad See Ew (I have been trying to perfect my own recipe using theirs as my inspiration. It even features Gai Lan instead of the common American broccoli substitute) and Pad Thai (the Pad Thai is red and not really authentic but still tastes great!). I have been coming here for a couple years now a couple times a month for a couple years now and it is definitely one of my favorite restaurants. It's location is not very centralized and is not much to look at but the food is A+!

I have been looking for Pad See Yew for the past few months and FINALLY this place has delivered. My boy-friend ordered Pad Thai HOT and it was HOTx3. But he did not mind it because he loves hot foods. Me on the other hand, I am a wuss. Overall, the Pad See Yew was delicious! Next time perhaps we will add tofu to the Pad Thai. The people there were wonderful and sweet. I will definitely return to Thai House.

The reviews on this place were very confusing so I'm trying to help the poor visitor like me, here it is: this place is very cheap, it does some dishes well and some very poorly. If they removed the dishes that do not sell ( like the chicken satay that was super dry) and they focused what what they do well ( like larb chicken) they would deserve the inflated review ratings. I understand what those complainig about its authenticity meant: the food is soo sweet, sweeter than most Americanized Thai place we've ever visited. I also understand what those complaining about the lack of flavor but its's not true for all dishes. This place is "great value" but not great food.

This is the best of 4 Thai places I've tried since moving to Boulder. I recommend the Northern sausage appetizer and the pumpkin curry.

I'm rarely in TOTAL disagreement with the majority of reviews of a yelp highly rated (by 20+ reviewers) and that's why I use yelp. Yelpers have sent me to a LOT of good places. Thai House, arvada is NOT one. I wanted a Thai curry near my new place & was happy to find Thai House was rated 4 stars by 50+ reviewers. So, I just stopped by and picked up a Takeaway. Musaman curry. Medium spice. It was certainly far from the worst I've had, but even farther from the best! The curry was sloppily packaged for transport in a styrofoam cup. (Of course it spilled in the bag in UNDER 5 blocks!) Anyway, the curry was bland. The onions were just floppy. No flavour. The potatoes were overcooked and scarce. There was plenty of chicken. Too much. I've had worse. I'll give them another try (a different dish) but I'm so disappointed. I thought I'd got lucky to get a good place near home but I guess I'll have to keep looking.
