I love Texas Roadhouse. The food, music and friendly staff. This was my first time to visit the Arvada location and I'll be back. Met friends for dinner and we sat at the bar. Evening bartender was great! She was friend and attentive. I started with a yummy margarita, which the bartender was nice to add me little shot of grandma! Nice size and it was really tasty. I had the Portobello Mushroom Chicken with a side salad. It was delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Very juice and the mushroom sauce was to die for. I was excited to have boiled egg in my salad!! Yay. And the rolls.....oh those heavenly rolls in cinnamon butter. I think that is always my favorite part!!!

Pamela was our server...and she was rather fantastic. I ordered filet medallions...which, while good, weren't the best thing on my plate. Order the Portobello Mushroom sauce. Seriously. Bonus, right now this particular Roadhouse has a special going on...Moonshine. Not sure what's in it, honestly, but it certainly tasted fantastic. And came in cute little mason jars. ;)

Was really excited to go here when it first opened. The food isnt bad, the best though by far is the bread and the butter. I hate how they trick you into up selling by offering things but not telling you it will be extra so you get your bill with all these up charges that you didnt even know you were signing up for. Plus the meat upsets everyones stomach. gross

We love dropping by for a steak or pork chops. Been eating here for years now and always get top notch service. Be sure to get there early for dinner because it fills up fast.

Came in with family on a Sunday afternoon. Waitress was Meghan and she was great! Checked up on us often and made sure we were enjoying our meal, and put up with my needy parents. There was a problem with my country fried steak. The first time they brought it out to me was overcooked and somewhat dry. I'm not one to complain much, and I was planning on just dealing with it as I do for most matters. I guess the chef or manager, Hunter, noticed it wasn't so appealing and decided to have another one made without realizing it. When they brought out the second one, they realized it was chicken fried chicken instead of chicken fried steak, so again they apologized and were already working on it for the third time and even took it off our bill. I want to commend both Meghan and Hunter for their outstanding service. They both obviously cared for our satisfaction, even without us asking. I'd also like to say sorry and to thank the young waiter that brought my mom a bag of peanuts. My mom can come off as rude sometimes, but he was professional and courteous about it and brought her a bag of peanuts right away, even though he was not our waiter. My family enjoyed the food and had a good time on this Sunday afternoon. Thanks again!

Terribly managed. We called ahead at around 6:45 and where told the wait would be maybe 20 minutes. After waiting for 40 minutes, one of the managers walked a member of our party over to the table that was "causing the hold up" and gestured that once the party at the table left we would be able to eat. This was EXTREMELY unprofessional. The other party was not pleased with this and stayed even longer. This eventually lead to an altercation between the two parties and our party was asked to leave after waiting for over an hour without getting any food. And pushed us out so quickly, that the other party had not left yet and another altercation almost happened in the parking lot. We were not given any explanation as to why our party was reprimanded and the other was not even though the other party was being very aggressive and the management even allowed a few members of the other party to wander the restaurant trying to pick a fight. The whole thing could have been avoided if the first manager who helped us had simply taken responsibility for the long wait instead of blaming other patrons of the restaurant. We love Texas Roadhouse most likely will continue to give them our business but this particular location does not have its act together. Very displeased.

Rowdy and not very classy for a steak place. Steaks are OK, but the two sides that accompany aren't worth mentioning. I asked for my green beans plain, yet they came doctored up with bacon. At least they refunded my money since that definitely isn't "plain".

We love the food here and went to celebrate my birthday. We started with an Onion Blossom which was excellent. We each had a salad (two Ceaser and one tossed) which were cold, crisp and fresh. My wife had the Sirloin and Shrimp Combo, her steak cook perfectly medium rare and extremely tender and flavorful. My son had the 10oz Prime Rib and I had the 12oz Prime Rib, both cooked perfectly medium rare and both were extremely tender. The potatoes were great, my son had crisp steak fries and my wife and I had fluffy baked potatoes. My only complaint with the way they serve their baked potatoes is the outside is covered in salt, but we have learned to order it without salt The served it the way we wanted it, salt-less, so the potato get ranked as excellent. The service was excellent and the staff is extremely friendly. The food is served quickly allowing just enough time to finished the previous dish. Our salads came just as we finished our Onion Blossom, and our entrees were served within a minute or two after we finished our salad. Afterward, a group of waiters came by to sing Happy Birthday (much to my embarrassment) and gave me a small birthday dessert. Tonight we got seated right away, but many weekend nights there is a wait. I suggest taking advantage of their Call Ahead Seating to reduce the wait. There are peanuts to eat while you wait. The restaurant looks like a steak house, and can be a little nosiey, but that is the sound of people enjoying their meal. Overall the meal deserves 5 stars!!

My steak had the right amount of fat to meat ratio. It just melted in my mouth. Chili was basic red bean chili and very good. Chris our waiter did a very good job staying on top of things. I like call ahead seating so you don't have to wait as long most days. They have one booth with all Willie nelson memorabilia which is my favorite. All around great dinner. There chili is some of the best i have ever had, and highly recommend it on a cold day.

In the days of Wyatt Earp, gunfights, and cattle rustling, roadhouses dotted the American west as taverns of ill repute selling whiskey, prostitution, gambling, lodging, and often imported opium. Cowboys, highwaymen, and other transients frequented these dens of sloth existing only on the parameters of society where no respectable man would dare be seen. Today, Texas Roadhouse, traded on NASDAQ as TXRH, brings that gritty Western spirit alive with jumbo shrimp, balloon animals, and booster seats. While desperadoes have been replaced with diabetic Nascar fans, much like 150 years ago, no member of the urban elite would dare be seen in the vicinity. You can choose from steak, chicken, ribs, or even mediocre pulled pork served with fixings like beans, soggy green beans garnished with bacon, and I'm sure, cleverly worded and outrageously oversized desserts. Plus, the peanuts are free and you can feel the lawlessness and freedom that epitomized the American west by tossing your peanut shells right on the floor, big city etiquette be damned! Yee-haw!

Pretty tasty filet for under $20. There's always a wait on weekend nights though, just eat peanuts. And I love those Roadie margaritas. The staff is always friendly.

Like Gitana G., I'm also going to echo the praises of the early bird special. If you're there during the week you're also getting the double whammy of happy hour prices as well! $7.99 for chicken fried chicken and $3.00 fairly large margaritas. *Insert: The Cars - "Just What I Needed" jingle* True, it's a chain. It's loud, annoying and generally overbearing atmosphere. If you don't already know that or can't tell from the second you walk in, that's your own fault, leave or get over it. My cesar salad had way too much dressing on it, but other than that I was pretty happy with the food. I was particularly surprised with my chicken fried chicken. The chicken was quite juicy, the breading was crisp but flavorful and the gravy wasn't too salty. I'm definitely a fan of the pre-meal bread basket here. The rolls were hot, fresh and I'm a fan of that cinnamon butter they've got goin' on. I wouldn't be caught dead waiting for hours on a Saturday night to get in here, but for an early weekday meal, I think it's a pretty decent choice.

We came here tonight for the first time, and I have to say this is the absolute BEST service I have ever in my life received in a restaurant. When we were being seated, they asked whether we had been here or not. We told them no we hadn't and sat down and enjoyed the delicious bread with Cinnamon butter they gave us. Next thing we knew the manager brought us out a plate with small samples of their best sides, and said she wanted us to try them since we'd never been there. I've never experienced this and the samples of the sides were delicious! Our Waiter was extremely attentive, always smiled and was on top of everything. Our drinks were always refilled promptly and we were always checked on. The food came out quickly and cooked to perfection, I had the 6 oz. Sirloin and it was to die for! This is easily my new favorite steak house now and I will definitely be back! I would recommend this place to everyone!

I love the Texas Roadhouse. We've gone here many times and have rarely had a bad experience. The service is usually great and we have a good time. Mondays are kids night, and they have a balloon guy who will come and make balloon stuff for you. He's a nice guy and isn't annoying like some are. The steaks are good, and out of many visits, I've only had to send one back. Their Italian dressing is delish. It's not the usual flavor, but it's really good. Their call-ahead seating thing is a pain to deal with. They tell you some code to give them at check-in, yet they hardly ever ask you for it. You still end up waiting a while when it's really busy.

Went there for dinner at 4:30 and the place was already almost full. The staff is very friendly and the food was ohhhh so gooood. My husband & I had the ribs and they were fall off the bone tender and the sauce was great. My sister had the sirloin and she said was melt in your mouth tender. The rolls were served hot, and we loved the cinnamon butter. Even though it was extremely busy our server, Dusty, couldn't have done a better job of serving us. It had been a number of years since we had been there. We plan to make it our go to place once a month now. If you love good food, this is a great place to go.

Upon arriving, I asked for 2 high chairs for my kids (they are 1 and 3). The hostess just started walking acrosss the restaraunt without acknowledging me. I did not know if I was supposed to follow her or not. She stopped halfway through and gave me a dirty look and just motioned with her arm that I should follow. I should have walked out right there. She then set up these sling chairs for the kids right next to all of the condiments so they could grab everything after I specifically asked for 2 high chairs. The waiter came over 5 minutes later and took our drink orders. He then did not show up at the table for another 10 minutes. We placed our order, my wife and I ordered a salad with our meals. Only mine came. We had to stop him for that and he seemed very confused and unapologetic. Her salad arrived at the same time our food did. My drink was empty for 27 minutes. I am not kidding because by that time I was checking the time for everything. For every time that the waiter checked up on us, he checked the table next to us three times. I asked him twice for a refill and he forgot it both times. The whole lunch took almost 2 hours because of slow service (He was very busy watching the football game by the bar). This was the last straw for me for Texas Roadhouse. I went there for years at 2 different locations and everything was good. The last time we went to those 2 locations (over the course of a year) the service was horrible. This was strike three. I will not be returning to any of their locations.

How come I like this place? It is not anything I would picture myself going to but if its in the neighborhood and I need comfort food, I'll head on in. The staff always makes me feel like they want me there. They ask how I am doing and we keep encouraging these waiters and waitresses and I'm happy. I do not like chains but I will go in here again and again and eat those buns even though I shouldn't. I eat the peanuts and I don't want to. I order a steak, salad and vegetable and I eat it all. I order the most decadent desert - I eat that too. How many calories have I consumed? Too many, but I am happy when I'm there and when I leave. It's a great experience all around except for my weight. I think I'm addicted.

Simply amazing. Service was fast and friendly, and the food couldn't be better. My only complaint is that it was a little to fast. I didn't have time to eat much of my appetizer before my entree came out.

Texas Roadhouse is a Chain Restaurant, focusing on steaks and grilled entrees. They have peanuts in buckets, shells on the floor, and a "cold case" at the front door "showcasing" their cuts of beef. Usually a good sign. While you wait for your table, servers constantly whisk past you with steaming hot Yeast Rolls, whose delicious aroma piques your appetite. (Let me just say here that if I owned a restaurant or grocery store, I would filter in the smell of Baking Bread through the Air Conditioning system. I am convinced that people buy more when their tummies are tempted by the yeasty, doughy smells of baking bread.) So anyhow, it's a Roadhouse, Rowdy atmosphere. I was first introduced to Texas Roadhouse by my Almost-In-Laws. We went for a family meal, in the height of the dinner rush. They had taken advantage of the "Call Ahead Seating" and were told a time to come in. We got there, and still had to wait 20 minutes. Okay, it's the Dinner Rush. It happens. Originally, I was somewhat impressed with Texas Roadhouse. Our server was friendly, and he even gave me a tip: While their Cesar Salad wasn't offered on the menu with Grilled Steak, I could order their Sirloin with both of my sides as a Cesar, and the kitchen would prepare it as a Large Cesar with Grilled Steak for me. Cool! And it was good. Everybody else seemed to enjoy their entrees, too, from Ribs with a Brown-Sugar topped Sweet Potato to a Ribeye with a Loaded Baked Potato. So What Happened? We went back. The first time was uneventful, I got my Cesar Salad with Sirloin, though the Sirloin was a bit overcooked and oxidized, but whatever. The next visit. Again took advantage of the "Call Ahead Seating." Again had to wait for a table anyhow. This time, our server was neither friendly nor personable, and had the intelligence of celery. There was a lot of gazing off, and some high-pitched "Ummm"s too. The BF had the ribs again, and they were good. However, I tried to explain to our semi-intelligent life form that I wanted the Sirloin, but with both sides as the Cesar, told her how the other server had done it, asked if he was there, etc. No dice. She wandered off, and I wasn't hopeful. A few minutes later, an appetizer Cesar arrived. (With Croutons. I'd asked for the Croutons to be left off.) Since a different person brought the salad, I had to flag down our Brain Surgeon, and re-explain what I ordered. She took the salad, and wandered off again. Maybe 25 minutes later, our "Entrees" arrive. His: Fine. Mine? A well-done sirloin with a Baked Potato. (As we all now know, I'd ordered it with two Cesars. And incidentally, I'd ordered Medium Rare.) Naturally, we asked for the manager, summed up the situation, and explained what I'd ordered. His answer? "We don't do that." Well, you've done it twice already. And how do you explain the Medium-Rare order but the Well-Done Shoe leather on my plate? And I never discussed a Baked Potato. Why is there one here? He began to argue with me. At this point, I told him just to take it all back. We packed up the remains of the BF's meal and asked for the check. Not only was my returned Sirloin still on the check, but there was also an "Up-Charge" for the Loaded Baked Potato, which I had never even ordered! So yeah, we've never gone back. The food was good, not great to begin with. What brought us back was the original Server's great attitude. The fact that he no longer works there is a testament to their awful attitude about service. He obviously didn't fit in with the Space Cadet and Aggressive Manager. There are far better ways to drop $20 on a steak. I suggest you skip this disaster and find a better option.

I'm really not a fan of this place. I came here last night since my parents were in town and it was time to meet my boyfriend's family for the first time. We thought this would be a relatively decent place to meet up. NOPE! The place is super loud, with the music and conversation, we couldn't hear our own conversations at the table! There's line dancers, which were a bit over the top and annoying. And there was tons of kids, which makes sense at a place like this, and it just so happened to be "Kids Eat Free, Mondays" day! I really was unhappy with the food. The biscuits at the beginning of the meal were warm and fresh, sorta tasty, but a bit on the buttery side. I wasn't a fan of the cinnamon butter. I think that would've been better if it were at the end of the meal...But that's just me! I ordered the grilled chicken and shrimp combo and had steak fries and vegetables. The chicken was alright, the shrimp was bad, the fries were...Fries! And, the vegetables were waaaay to buttery for my liking. I feel like everything I ate last night was either cooked in, or just caked in butter... I really am not a fan! Not to mention that the butter they served with my shrimp spilled on my plate...very bad. Oh well, It was busy, so I don't want to say that this placed will always be bad, but I really don't want to go back!

I always try to avoid chains, and this place is the exact reason why! We went here on a saturday night there were 7 of us and a high chair, so we thought it would be best to call ahead because we knew it was going to be busy already. Over the phone we were directed to have our party check in upon arrival and we would get sat within 15 minutes of arriving, we waited an hour. After 40 minutes we questioned the manager on what the hold up was for us, we were told that there were few tables they could sit us at and we were the next to be sat. As a couple minutes passed they sat a group of 8, with 2 babies, that much to our surprise was the group that checked in right after us. 10 minutes later the hostess proceeded to yell, "Can you take these people (pointing at us) to the table." Our waiter Dusty was very polite, which is the only reason this place gets one star. We told him at the end he was great but his hostess team and manager screwed the pooch during this visit.

Only eaten here once. Got a great coupon deal for Valentine's Day. Had the best restaurant steak ever. It was so well seasoned I found myself licking my fingers well after leaving. It was packed, but we didn't feel crowded at all in our booth.

I've been to this Texas Roadhouse numerous times and have always had a very nice experience. I love me a medium rare steak, and that's exactly what I got upon my last visit. Most restaurants don't do medium rare very well, so when I laud the fact that Texas Roadhouse got it right, it really means something! This last time I visited I got the 6oz sirloin steak, a caesar salad, and the sweet potato covered in brown sugar. I always find eating there to be such a great deal, considering the sirloin steak, definitely not the most expensive thing on the menu, is still so delicious, plus the two sides that come with it. We had very nice service, attentive waitstaff, and not too many birthday celebrations near us. I am glad to report that this Texas Roadhouse doesn't stand around and sing for five minutes at a time, so the usual kitschy Happy Birthday song is under 30 seconds. Whew. Love this restaurant, and will go again.

Went with family for my birthday & it was great! I'm on their email list so they sent me a free appetizer coupon. Had the onion, hot & fresh. Plenty for 4 people. I love their prime rib so that's what I had, delicious! Baked potato & beans were great too. In-laws had ribs & they enjoyed them a lot. We were there before 6pm & my husband got a meal for like $7.99. Good value definitely. Quick service & our server was awesome! Can't wait to go back!!

Honestly, the food is pretty tasty. The place is wicked loud, and very crowded, even on a weekday night. I suppose that is good, but I felt crammed in like a sardine at the table. The staff is nice, and the manager gave me two free ribs, as I had never been there before. Beyond that though, nothing really stands out. I've had better, I've had worse. Is it something I'd drive out of my way for? Naw, unless the girlfriend wanted to go there. If I was looking for a decent steak and was in the neighborhood of one, I'd probably head back.

I recently came here on a lazy Saturday afternoon. After a morning of shopping, I was ready for some food! I recently started eating meat again, so I was very excited to try their steak. I got the steak kabob and it did not dissapoint! It was so tender, and the mushrooms and bell peppers had some sort of seasoning on them that made me want to cry tears of happiness! They also now serve a skinny lime margarita, which is less than 200 calories. That thing is huge and delicious. I only had one and was feeling pretty good. I highly recommend this place.

This is my favorite for steak. I get the Dallas fillet 6 oz. The baked potato loaded is to die for with melted marshmallows, caramel, brown sugar, and butter - yummy!! I love the rolls with the cinnamon honey butter - those are so good, I could eat a whole basket by myself. I also like to eat peanuts so having them at the table is a plus. Service has always been wonderful - my whole family loves it.

A great fun place to have a great meal, (Steak) and enjoy the high tension atmosphere! The food is consistently good to great, the service is overly attentive. There is unlimited peanuts and a full bar. Kids and families are always there. Their food is consistently far superior to say Lone Star which you should avoid at all costs.

First of all, we're talking about Texas Roadhouse here. It's nothing super special, it's a chain and you get what you would expect from a chain. You don't go here for a high class, foodie type of experience. That being said, the food is good. It's not going to blow you away but they do a decent steak. My bf lives close by so we sometimes come here during the week and sit at the bar for dinner and drinks. We don't even attempt to come on the weekends because there is no way we are going to wait an hour to eat a pretty basic steak at a loud steakhouse with average service. If I'm going to wait an hour or more for a table, it had better be worth it. I typically have a vodka tonic, which is tough to screw up, and the sirloin and shrimp combo. They tend to be a little heavy handed with the butter on the shrimp but they are usually well prepared and taste fine. The sirloin is also usually cooked the way I ask and seasoned well. I don't feel like I need to drench it in A-1 sauce so that's a good thing. My bf usually has the prime rib or a burger, I have tried both and haven't had any complaints. There are some great bartenders who are friendly and personable and if we get one of them, we get great service. Some of them aren't so great and in those cases, we get very slow service and sometimes only get one drink because no one asks us if we want another drink or if we want to order food. It's a little pricey for what you get but again, it's a chain and I kind of expect overpriced food at a chain restaurant. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but since it's close to us, it's a good option for nights when we don't feel like driving downtown or another part of town to eat.

The food was good and I have overall no complaints. Until I realized the waiter charged my credit card then told me it was declined so I'd pay cash. Then on my bank account there was my bill, with an added tip! I called the bank and declared it fraudulent. I called a manager who did nothing, and told me that he was an "honest server." I no longer trust any of the staff working there.

I have been to this location many times and have received great service! But tonight was very different, upon receiving my food there were some problems, after letting another server know, he promptly took my food and said he would have my replacement meal out. The manager Will came directly over and seemed very concerned and apologized and comped my portion of the meal and said they were cooking my meal right away. We understand mistakes happen, we brushed it off and thank him for all that he did! Ten minutes later another manager came to tell that food STILL hadn't been started. At this point I was completely annoyed and angry as my family had already eaten their meals. I asked her to make it to go, that we had waited long enough. She generously paid for my drink and told me it'd be right out. Will immediately came over apologized and gave us a free entree ticket for our next visit. Although the serving experience wasn't top notch, I completely felt taken care of by the management staff, and even our server(I wish I'd gotten her name) was very kind. Like I said mistakes happen, it's all how the situation is handled and Will did an amazing job! We appreciate the way you handled our situation, thank you!

This is by far the Best TRH in the Land. I have been to several over the years and this location consistently out performs the other locations. Originally from Texas, I expect a certain level of hospitality and my last 3 visits to TRH in Texas had me so disappointed that I couldn't wait to get back to this location. Corporate might want to change the name to Colorado Roadhouse. They have the most friendly & attentive bar staff around and service has been solid 4yrs and running..Great Job

Okay, this used to be my favorite steak place but the last two times I have gone the quality and quantity have gone down. I get the rib eye, and both times the brought it to me the flavor wasn't great, and it was really thin. Don't know why it's going downhill, but it seems to be.

Never been treated worse! We had a reservation for 10 people. Waited way past our reservation time for them to seat us at an 8 top table... Then said the rest of us would be sitting across the room because they had nothing else available and they can only accommodate parties of 8! A simple explanation of this prior to waiting forever and would have saved all of us much time and patience! What group of people goes to dinner to sit across the restaurant from each other?! Needless to say we left angry and hungry!!

For the price, best ever! First time customer. Made reservation before leaving for restaurant and was able to be seated within 10 min of arriving on a busy night. Service from call making reservation to end was outstanding. Staff very helpful, polite, genuinely enthusiastic and cheerful. Typically eat at best steak houses et cetera and found their prime rib to be better than upscale restaurant at twice the price. Wife concurred about steak though someone (manager?) walked by noticed the steak and said it was not cooked perfectly and wanted to replace it for her. She was happy despite being slightly over cooked refused offer. Steak was removed from bill. Not sure it gets better than that. Drinks(margaritas) were good, large and cheap(happy hours). There is something to be said about eating at better restaurants but in the future if we just want a good time, great service and great food we will look no further. Also, if I was to open a restaurant I would have my staff dine at this location to see how it is supposed to be done from beginning to end. Bravo to management, corporate or both.

Usually when we come by here the place is so crowded that we don't stop. The other night we got out of the movie and wanted to eat at 10:20. The roadhouse closes at 11. I hate doing that to a restaurant but we decided we'd try to be quick. We were glad we went! The staff couldn't have been more welcoming despite our late arrival. I nibbled from the bucket of peanuts while sipping draft beer. My son munched hot rolls with cinnamon butter. We each had a small sirloin, me with half a barbecued chicken and he with four of the BBQ ribs which he loves. He and I were both blown away by the tastiness of our steaks! And that's why this chain gets 5 stars.

This place gets packed. But, its worth the wait. I went with a group of friends and everyone seemed to enjoy their food. I know that I did. We started off with the fried pickles. I've never had them before. They were different but, pretty good. I had the grilled shrimp and prime rib accompanied by a baked potato and salad. The prime rib was great. It was really tasty with their horseradish. The shrimp was on point also. I also enjoyed one of their Patron margaritas... surprisingly strong. This was all capped off with some good waitstaff service, on a very busy night.

I thought I should probably write a review since I'm currently "The Duchess" *bats eyelashes* Yes, Texas Roadhouse is a chain. I tend to like chains because the food at the very least is consistent. The waitstaff here are hit or miss. Some are really attentive and want to do a good job. Others work here so they can play grab-ass with their coworkers (in full sight of customers). I order the same thing every time I'm here. The Chicken Critter Salad with a side of honey mustard. I always feel ridiculous ordering something with the word "critter" in it, so I say chicken tender salad, and they normally understand what I'm talking about. Anyway, it's delicious. The chicken tenders are made in house and cooked fresh. It's a huge salad and I eat half for dinner and eat the other half as a "breakfast salad"- it has hard boiled eggs and bacon in it! You should eat here if you're not chain restaurant adverse... or if you don't have a peanut allergy.

The food is pretty good, I just notice there are SO MA NY HOSTESSES. On one weekday evening I had to have noticed at least 6 people standing up at the podium just chatting with one another and only two of them were focusing on customers... On several different times throughout that meal we definitely noticed inappropriate conversations including swearing and complaining about different patrons. Definitely makes me feel very self conscious about if I have an issue there if I bring it up, will I get a bunch of shit talked about me while I'm still there??

Reviews seem all over the place but by and large the food itself is quite good. Usually there is a wait but it's quite bearable. It has a southern charm to it...meaning it's hectic but casual at the same time. Servers seem very attentive. Love those buns with the cinnamon butter! I had road kill which was a hamburger steak with two sides of my choice. I picked corn and a Caesar salad. Both sides were delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly and was a treat. We also ordered the rib eye and it too was great. Service was prompt and it's really hard to complain about this place unless you come in with a chip on your shoulder. Prices are as expected but not that bad. The other steak place we thought about was double the prices. The menu selection is very nice with chicken, pork, fish, salads, steaks and BBQ. They also have kids meals. For us definitely a place to return to again. Weekdays there is a $ reduction on a number of the meals for early eaters or the lunch crowd. All in all worth it for a good hearty meal with attentive servers. Sorry some reviewers had bad experiences but I've had bad experiences in the most expensive of restaurants. My experience at least this time was excellent on service and food.

Worse service ever! Went in to have a Prime Rib dinner with my family and the waiter had to run and check if they still had any, he came back and said they did then the manager came and said they were out. I was frustrated since that was the third time they just ran out. A couple at the bar who were sat after us had two prime rib dinners. I asked the bartender to call the manager. When the waiter came by I asked why the couple who came in after us was able to get it and I was told it was out. He said it was first come first serve! I said we came in AND ordered before them! He then said that wasn't the one I wanted anyway! Can you believe that??? Then when I was about to say something he else he said ANYWAY can I get anyone anything else!! WHAT????? My family and I were so upset that we said let's go and left the food on the table. I complained to the manager who was trying to make it better but I was so upset and at this point angry that I just wanted to leave! I declined to get her card until I looked back and the server TRAVIS was laughing. WOW. Don't go there if you want to be discriminated and treated like a piece of crap! Trust me that had to have been the worse service ever and I fully intend on writing to the company as well.

Texas Roadhouse is a chain steakhouse. The food is decent, but not spectacular. It's almost always overflowing with the Walmart crowd, and is incredibly loud. In general, it reminds me of a lot of other chains like Chile's, Applebees, etc. On a positive note, for a fairly reasonable price, you can get a variety of cuts of steak, and all of the trimmings to accompany it. While it's not on my top 1,000 places to go again, it's fine for dinner and a drink before you catch a flick across the parking lot.

  • Taylor Kelly L.

I love the roadhouse except for the fact that it is a bit pricey! My favorite are the boneless wings appetizers and the rolls w/ cinnamon butter. I usually order a burger w/ a side of fries and my boyfriend always goes for the steak and shrimp combo! Both are delicious and always cooked nicely. Our server when we came in was Elexis and she was excellent! Friendly service and got our food out to us quickly, she seemed to have everything under control even when it was extremely busy! (The roadhouse always seems to be busy). Definitely will be returning for dinner in the future.

You know what you get from the roadhouse. Loud, country music, peanuts on the ground and good food. It's a matter of degrees between stores and in comparison to other Texas Roadhouse franchises this is 5 stars. Food was cooked to order and great. Service was great. I don't know how many restaurants have trouble putting in kids orders early. But ours came early, along with fresh salads. Plus the balloon lady who was there doing balloon animals was a big hit for the kids. You know what a Texas Roadhouse means. Quiet romance this is not. Family friendly steakhouse this is, and this is a great example of it.

I recommend doing the call ahead seating. Texas Roadhouse is the only reasonably priced steak house in Arvada. The food is consistent. I always order the Fort Worth Ribeye medium rare. They always deliver. If you want a good cut of steak cooked to your desired color, this is the place for a reasonably priced meal. I would avoid the green beans though. I tried them tonight because the mixed vegies are so bland. (Blanched with no seasoning). To the contrary, the green beans are cooked with bacon and served in a 'lard like' sauce. I couldn't eat more than 5 for fear of my arteries. Overall, their side dishes need improved. And I think they should make Mac and cheese. The Caesar salad is always a safe and delicious option for one of your sides. And the steak fries are good. But the healthy options are few. The rolls are to die for. I love the cinnamon butter but my husband doesn't. He eats the rolls plain. The staff is always friendly, they all welcome you and say goodbye. They are efficient and we have never had bad service. Even when they are busy.

Dirty bathrooms, mediocre service, terrible food. I've been to this place numerous times and have never had an experience near this awful. Their lack of consistency makes me not want to return.

Good food. It was almost like being back home in Texas, but not. Service was great though, and the food was seriously pretty good. We ordered the bloomin' onion thing, which was satisfying. I got a steak, which was cooked perfectly, and my baked potato was fantastic. The rolls and cinnamon butter are addicting. It was sort of loud, but we could still have a conversation without too much trouble.

Went there for Father's Day as a treat to my husband. The food was great but hard to enjoy because the place was unbearably hot. I didn't even finish my meal because I was so uncomfortable and my kids were sticky from the lack of air conditioning. Trying to eat hot food in a hot restaurant was terrible and although the service and food were awesome, we won't be coming back.

I saw a picture of motivating food in instagram and I asked about it. I went there with my family to take a dinner. We fell in love with it and now we go twice a month. First thing the food is fantastic, it has special taste that make me love it more and more. And when we enter the restaurant they serve fresh bread with cinnamon butter which melt inside the mouth. I don't eat seafood at all except salmon Texas Roadhouse made me addicted it. They use fresh salmon with special spices to make yummy grilled salmon. Also I can choose two sides beside the salmon like baked potato, caesar salad or brown rice. And the prices are suitable for all. Beside the food I like the special decoration and the huge bottle full of peanut, and the lovely servers. It's the only one crowded place that I love to go to eat there, because even in the rush they have good service. If you're a grilled food lover you should go to Texas Roadhouse. You're going to enjoy the place and the tasty food.

So i have alot to say i just got home from having the worst meal of my life and horrible experience. So we first get there order a margarita and appetizer and it came out good we were sitting there waiting for family 8 of us and then everyone gets there we all order our food and 3 of us got side salad they were ok hopefully not sure because half of us could not keep our food down after the main course was over half was through my lil brother found a fly that was in side of his main course chicken salad it did not look fresh or anything it had looked like it was there for a while so we try and tell the server and she takes the plate and asks if he wanted another and he like no im pretty sure were all done because we all were after seeing that half of us ran to the bathroom to hurl and none of us could finish so the manager takes at least 5 minutes to talk to us then wants to try and he gave us an "employee discount" so we get the receipt and it says hero discount 30% off so we look over and the chicken caesar salad which the fly was In was still on there so we had to complain again we were all not feeling good after seeing that in the food and he gives us a bigger 80% discount so then were walking out of the bathroom after leaving a $20 tip for waitress and the waitress stops my wife and says just to let you know we know he put that fly in his food and were still going to give you the meal for free and we were like what why would we try and do that like how dumb then the manager had to come out and just said please enjoy your night she would of never said that and we were like well she better not of because we were not trying to get a free meal while showing the money we had on us $2000 which is more then they make in a month and we wish we would of got a picture for everyone to see after the way we were treated which is very bad so do not go back unless you don't mind eating flies

The steak here is way better than the other 2 local steak chains in that area. The whole filet was tender and flavorful all the way through the steak. There was never any gristle or inedible pieces. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and the fried pickles were battered just enough. It was frustrating that our drinks were empty almost our whole meal and after we received our food we only saw our waiter maybe one other time. I had to eat my chili with a fork because the spoon I originally got came dirty. It's frustrating to not have good service.

Here's a quick and dirty bar review: -Service is great, bartender was quick to get our order and genuinely nice. -Noise level is pretty high, but nothing too bad and certainly not as bad as a bar by itself (as opposed to this one that's part of a restaurant) -Prices are pretty damn awesome-I pad $5 for what was probably a 20 ounce 1554 ("premium domestic" -They have free peanuts! Shelled peanuts! Hell yes. -Big TVs -Good place to hop into if you're seeing a movie at the Olde Town Check em out! I'll be back.

What to do, when you are married to an Irish-French-Brit-Russian White/Ginger Boy, who loves his share of MEATS? April 21st 2012, was Hubs birthday. Working long hours suck, thankfully, I managed to find an establishment aka RESTAURANT, which served STEAKS aka MEATS and is still opened after 9 pm. Texas Roadhouse, Arvada location came to my rescue, err in this case, came to our rescue. Hubs was indeed craving for his share of MEATS. It was our first time being here and boy am I glad, that I choose Texas Roadhouse, Arvada Location. We were greeted, seated and were given the Menu promptly. Lots to choose, and since it was Hubs birthday I ask if we can used the print-out birthday coupon. Our server named Johnnie, was so accomodating, inviting and allow us to have the Birthday Coupon Appetizer for FREE. So here were the items we ordered that evening. * Rattlesnake Bites Appetizer * Big Hoss Bone-In Ribeye with Mashed Potatoes ($20.99) + ($0.99) and Buttered Corn (Hubs Order) * Texas T- Bone 18oz ($19.99) with Seasoned Rice and Sauteed Mushrooms. * Strawberry Cowboy Cooler (My beverage) ($2.99) * Coke (Hubs beverage) ($2.49) We request both of our main entrees aka the MEATS to be cooked WELL DONE. While waiting for our main entree to arrive, Johnnie, gave us the "sweet rolls" to our table. I like the "sweet rolls" but does not fancy the whipped butter that comes with it. I like the Rattlesnake Bites Appetizer ($4.99). Those appetizers, are made of rounds of diced jalapeños and jack cheese, hand-battered and lightly fried. It was served with Cajun Horseradish sauce for dipping. It came our piping hot, juicy and my oh my, I am still craving for those tiny morsels. Perhaps I should "dig" thru the internet world on how to make those Rattlesnake Bite Appetizer. Then comes our Main entrees with some sampler of somekind... with Beans, Corn, Mashed Potato with Gravy, and somekind of Pulled Meat. Hubs opt for Mashed Potatoes and Buttered Corns while I opt for Sauteed Mushrooms and Seasoned Rice for my main entree. All in all, we like our order that evening. The service was indeed fast, efficient and we dont mind returning. So thank you, Texas Roadhouse, Arvada Location. 3.5 Stars in our books. @69/2012

Not only was the food great, but the manager Wil, was extremely hospitable. Crazy busy on New Year's Eve yet the service was gracious. I would recommend calling ahead to anyone wanting a delicious steak or rib meal. I had a wondrous night, thank you Texas Roadhouse!

Was super packed when we got there and had to wait a while to be seated but once seated everything was excellent! Love the rolls with cinnamon butter and the server was know fable, polite, and quick. Great food for the price honestly!! Very happy and would recommend it if you want steak but don't want to pay an arm and a leg :)

Food was great! Only thing I did not like was some of the waiters. I have been here several times but out of those times I have received a few waiters that were simply not cut out for the job. Did not remember who's plates went where, what drinks we had, took forever to deliver our food, did not stop by to see how the meal was going or if we needed additional sides, and kept us waiting for the check. Love the food but wish they had better service.

Even in a rush I received good service. Had a juicy and flavorful pork chops with a massive sweet potato and savoury chili. Very affordable for the portion sizes.

I've gone to Texas Roadhouse for years and have never been disappointed. One time only, we had acceptable but less than stellar service - we didn't complain but the manager noticed, apologized profusely, comped something on our bill that night and gave us a $25 gift card to use another time. Would that everyone understood this lesson - we all have off days, but well-run operations know how to take a regrettable performance and still have the diner leave feeling good about the restaurant. Otherwise, the service has always been excellent. I consider Texas Roadhouse's main competitors to be Lone Star, Saltgrass, and Outback, but in my mind there's really no competition. Texas Roadhouse is both better and less expensive than the competition. I love the Cactus (onion) blossom as an appetizer. Hearty cut top sirloin and fried catfish are my favorite entrees. Entrees come with delicious homemade rolls served with cinnamon butter, two side-dishes, and the ever-present bucket of peanuts on every table. That Texas Roadhouse understands the "recipe for success" is attested to by the fact that they're almost always busy, but they do offer call-ahead seating, and peanuts and iced tea while you wait. The only consistent downside I experience at Texas Roadhouse is that it's very noisy. On the other hand, the cacophony of people having a good time isn't such a bad thing.

From the moment we walk in, we are always greeted by the staff, some of who know my fiancé and his family by name. I always order a rare sirloin with mashed potatoes and rice. Dinner here never disappoints!

So, taking the mother-in-law and her husband out to eat can be quite tricky because, while we love ethnic food and adventurous eating, they love american. I always have to rack my brain for a place for us to eat at, but not so anymore. This place is our new go-to for when they are in town. The steak salad that I had was delicious, albiet a little to "iceberg-ian." The steak slices on it were perfectly cooked, and it had delightful bits of bacon and bleu cheese. I also had a sweet potato on the side (m.i.l. and I split the salad b/c portions are huge) and it was definitely the best sweet potato I've ever had at a restaurant. The cinnamon butter and brown sugar didn't hurt, but it was good by itself too. On another note, we went on a Sunday night, and as we pulled into the parking lot my heart dropped because it was really full and everyone was hangry (so hungry that you're angry, if you don't know... you can use it too). However, we walked in and the freidnly hostess was like, "10 min." And, sure enough, we were at our table with heavenly, buttery rolls and cinnamon butter within 10 min. So, don't be fooled, this place is ginormous inside, with lots of space for hangry people to eat! Oh-- and they take Call Ahead seating. Thanks for saving the day Texas Roadhouse!

Quick tip, call ahead to get on the waiting list. OK, normally I don't give a place 5 stars unless the food or the price are phenomenal. In this case, both of those are great but they are lifted from 4 to 5 stars because of the atmosphere. I live close by, and I go here as often as possible. If you want a great steak, they do have those available. The bone in ribeye is incredibly flavorful. My girlfriend and I often share this, as it is a large meal for one person to tackle. The chili here is in my opinion the best I'e had. What makes this place 5 stars though, is the service. Even if you're getting a table, say hi to Dusty or Chaela at the bar and get a beer while you wait. You'll meet any number of locals that, even with all the option in the area, still make this the place they stop most often.

Was pretty disappointed last time I went in. From beginning to end it was a pretty bad experience. We called ahead and when we got in the hostess said we had waited the correct amount of time and we would be sitting down in 10 minutes or so. 10 minutes goes by...still waiting...20 minutes....still waiting...should we ask when we are going to get a table? 30 minutes.....still waiting...my mom goes up and asks what is going on and they lost our name. We wait 10 more minutes before sitting down and when I order a Pibb she returns to tell me they are out of Pibb...okay? Coke then. We order food, i order the steak tips with a Caesar salad. Three caesar salads come to our table and two have a good amount of dressing and mine is dry as a bone. There is a little glob of dressing at the bottom of my bowl and that's it. I overhear a table next to us order the prime rib and the waitress returns to inform them they are out of prime rib. So twice this waitress has taken a order and returned to force a guest to change their order. The steak tips were pretty good but everything else here was a mess. This store is lucky it has a loyal fan base because clearly there is a severe lack of communication in this restaurant; on all fronts. (The FOH, kitchen, waitresses, etc.)

We went here on Friday so we called ahead to reserve a place in line. This place fills up fast. This was now my 6th visit. Janelle was our server and she was just outstanding! She filled out glasses before they were empty she came by a few times and smiled. We order the 6oz & 8oz Sirloin cooked medium which was very juice. The best side is the loaded mash potatoes. Great value :)

There isn't much bad to say about this place. I've always used the call ahead seating option to ensure not having to wait long. The hot rolls slathered in cinnabutter and peanuts are always a hit with the kiddos. The kids eat free Mondays are amazing, but also the reason I cant give 5 stars. One of the waiters informed us they would no longer be doing this. Bummer. The food is usually great, very rarely get a steak thats not up to par. The staff is always welcoming and I'll continue to come.

I've never had a bad experience at a Texas Roadhouse and this one didn't disappoint. Is it a fancy steakhouse, no, but you know what you're getting. Generally when I go to this place or any other chain casual dining steakhouse, I order the exact same thing. A medium-rare 6 oz sirloin, loaded baked potato, and house salad. I ordered just that and everything came out exactly as I'd like with the exception they don't have scallions for the potatoes supposedly (according to the server) for one of the food-bourne illness scares a couple years back. I've never had a steak improperly cooked and it's always been either at or above the quality I'd expect from a place like this. I also like that they to 20oz beers and have you standard fare of domestics including Coors, Bud, and Sam Adams products plus a microbrew or two. Texas Roadhouse is famous for their yeasty bread with cinnamon butter that comes out. Upon recommendation from my nutritionist, I'm supposed to be avoiding gluten, so the fact that the cinnamon butter comes with it is a big turn off for me, but it was easy to say no this trip! Also, another great tip is that Sun-Thurs (I think it is) they do a $7.99 dinner with a few options if you get there before 6 in case you like to eat early!

We hit up the Roadhouse about every other month. I don't recall ever being disappointed. The service and food is always superb. We usually go for prime rib, ribeye, and/or ribs. The steaks are always fantastic and priced decently. It can be a bit noisy but we don't mind. It's always super packed so we utilize their call ahead seating, even with a party of 10 we were sat within 20 mins on a busy Friday night

I admit I didn't have the highest expectations for Texas Roadhouse when my GF suggested we get dinner there last Friday night. We'd been in before for apps and drinks after seeing a movie across the parking lot a while back. It was pretty good for that but to go there and actually order a steak? I wasn't sure about that at all. She reassured me that they had some decent cuts and could cook them however I wanted. Was she ever right! I got a 12 oz. New York Strip Steak and it came out cooked to a perfect medium rare, which IMO is the only way to order a steak. She went for the 10 oz. Ft Worth Ribeye and even though it wasn't very thick it still came out cooked nicely. One negative is the rolls seemed fairly stale to me, like they'd been out for several hours. When you get seated the hostess grabs a basket from under a heat lamp and leads you to your table, which already has a bucket of peanuts on the table. So you have two things to eat instantly but nothing to drink. I guess for those that are starving and must eat NOW. No biggie, I just don't get it. And hey, the cinnamaon honey butter is downright tasty anytime! The Caesar salad was just OK, as was the loaded potato. The service was decent, being next to a movie theater creates waves and hurried diners that I'm sure add to the degree of difficulty. I'll have to see how it goes next time I visit Texas Roadhouse now that my expectations are out of the gutter!

Another wonderful dinner. I love this place, I don't know if it is the cinnamon butter with the rolls or what but always seems to be a good meal. Hard to go wrong with a good steak.

My husband and I typically love coming here and haven't really had a bad experience until this last weekend. We went out for "date" night and on arrival were told the wait was 10-15min. We sat down in the waiting room. Then we waited, waited, and waited some more. We saw multiple parties that arrived after us, be seated before us. Finally after 25 min. I went up and asked how long until we might be seated. The flustered teenage girl quickly said "OH!" don't worry you are next. Then we just stood there so we would be ready to go since to us, next means like 1-2 more minutes. While standing there, the girl continued to tell disgruntled customers that there were multiple tables "empty" but they just needed to be cleaned. Then we watched as 5-7 more parties were seated. Finally after about another 5-7min. wait and multiple parties going in front of us, we left. Totally ridiculous! They really need to get it together. It is highly unlikely we will be visiting this location again. As a side note, there was also a manager walking around with a wad (aka: couple hundred) of cash in her hand. We watched her talking to customers, playing with a child, giving out food, all with this huge amount of cash just in her hand. Super unprofessional and not safe.

this place is delish !!! the rolls they give you are amazing although the butter is sweet unless you request regular butter. I have ordered the bbq chicken a few times which is a breast, and they always make it really moist and fantastic. The service is great and very attentive and friendly without being fake. great energy and very casual and relaxed. great value for the money and really good food consistently. I would go back again and again. love it !!!

I've visited here often and usually never have any issues. Then I must have hit them on a few "bad days" because I noticed my food was kinda blah; either missing some flavor or not really prepared all that well. Gave them another try on a Monday night .Things took forever with our server .I think she came by one time after she dropped off the plates and then it still took a while for our refills. When we were finally ready to leave we SERIOUSLY were thinking of walking out . There is no excuse for keeping your patron waiting over 10 mins for the check. Totally a good the bad and the ugly situation. The good; food: I am blown away with the improvements from my last few visits. Food was hot, flavor was much improved. The bad; server. slow and not very attentive. The Ugly ; Now the next time I go I'm not sure if my server or the food will be good

Now that is a Steak!!. I am no longer a fan of the ribs because they just don't taste the same or it could be me. Billy was awesome made sure we were ok and was very knowledgeable of his menu and specials. Sweet Tea is good, for my taste it could be sweeter that is just me. For 20 cents less than Apple you know who Bees lol I would rather get a REAL Steak at Texas Roadhouse. I will be back.

Food is pretty good. Service is so so depending on who you get. Let's see the teenager with the attitude, the teenager who who flirts with your son, the teenager who asks you a million stupid questions like have you been here before, the teenager who is too busy talking about her boyfriend to call your number, the teenager who talks like a valley girl, the teenager who spills water on your chair and hands you a napkin to clean it up, the teenager who is clearly anxious to get out of there to party with her friends or the teenager who has nothing better to do than to ask you another stupid question. I know it's cheap to hire all these teen girls unfortunately they are annoying and unprofessional but then the managers aren't much older or mature than they are so what do you expect. I will find another place to throw my peanuts on the floor and hopefully eat in peace and quite and without being Interrupted with all of the stupid questions!!!
