I love love love Indian food, and am glad to see yet another Indian restaurant opening in Arvada. Much like the other reviewers have stated, you can't help but compare it to Yak and Yeti. We decided to try it out on a nice early weekend evening, and we weren't sure what to expect. It's housed in an old Chipotle, but would there be a buffet? Alcoholic beverages? First of all, there is a buffet, but it wasn't open for our dinner service, so I can't really speak to what it offered. They have a fairly decent list of Indian beers, along with a couple of domestics and a full bar. On to the food...I have to say that they are really going to give Yak and Yeti a run for their money. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and Saag Paneer. The Tikka Masala Chicken was very tender, and the cream sauce had just the right level and depth of spice. The saag paneer was also very savory, maybe not as sweet as Yak and Yeti, but I didn't really mind, it was still fantastic. We ordered some garlic naan and some cheese naan, but I think the guy misheard us and he brought out one order of garlic-cheese naan. No big deal, we just ordered more. Also, at the end of dinner, when we had some leftovers to take home, the waiter kindly offered more rice. I loved the service there, and that alone will endear me to come back again soon.

Stopped in for pickup this weekend. I used the online ordering app, and while that was pretty cool, it may not be the best idea for takeout on the weekends, as they were pretty busy when I arrived (no surprise on this though, and I don't hold it against them) Food was amazing! Chicken Tikka Masala (spicy) and garlic naan were some of the best I have ever had. Portion size was fantastic too - I was pretty hungry, and while I scarfed my meal down, I still had enough for lunch the next morning. I will definitely be back soon! Updating - have now visited two times and my 5 star review stands. Keep it up Namaste!

Great food and great and friendly service. I asked the general what he recommended and he did a great job helping me try something new.

We love Indian food but it is hard to find a place with good food and good service. After having a great Indian place in Fort Collins we have been looking hard for a new place in Denver. We have found it! The food is great and the service is wonderful. This will be a frequent place for us as their menu selection is great, the buffet is very good and the service is really good.

We are frequent visitors to Yak and Yeti and Jewel of India, so we looked forward to trying out a new place. We are typically not buffet eaters, so I cannot speak to that. Namaste has a clear advantage over the other places - the food does not take forever to come out! They were pretty fast in fact, which is really good when small children are along for the ride. Food was delicious, we didn't get too adventurous with a tikka masala and a korma, lassi and naan. I would agree with a prior review about the atmosphere - they should at least have some Bollywood or Indian music playing in the background. The servers were very attentive, top notch. Will definitely return!

Pretty good service, and somewhat nice ambiance.. Great location.. now for the food! I have literally eaten at mostly ALL Indian restaurants in the Denver metropolitan area and beyond. The saag paneer was by far the most excellent I have ever had, as was the sweet potato masala.. I got everything medium and it was perfect. The daal had a strange like charcoal meaty flavor like it was in the tandoori too long or something. The naan was nice and fluffy, not too buttery like many restaurants do. The vegetable samosa was not to my taste.. The dough was too ample instead of light and crisp, and the filling wasn't spiced enough in my opinion. The tamarind sauce was watery, not good since it won't stick on anything. The kheer was literally the best I've ever had. So although I have some criticisms, the foods that I did like, I LOVED, which made up for the issues I had. I think it's to the buffet next time to try more. No desert was offered.. that was a little whacky, and my husband HATED the weird silver jail trays they serve everything on. I know in India stainless steel dishes are common, and they would have been fine, but these were PRISON trays!! I think my stars are a 4 1/2 now that I think of it.

Excellent Indian food. We got the Sunday buffet and it had everything we love - veggie and meat options, delicious masala, samosas, and extremely good imported Indian beer. I will go back here many times.

My husband and I have now visited twice and have been dee-lighted both times. On our first visit we ordered the meal sampler for two and my husband discovered that he actually does like spinach when it's called saag and prepared as perfectly as they do here. So fresh tasting and creamy, definitely the best I have ever had. On our second visit we ordered seekh kabab and saag - seekh kabab being a favorite from visits to other Indian restaurants. We were happy to find it as good or better here. We also tried the garlic naan - delicious. The service is attentive but not too much so, and the staff seemed genuinely pleased that we enjoyed our meal so much. The atmosphere was quiet and pleasant and we will definitely return many times. Our hope is that it will be discovered enough to make it successful but still retain that "hidden gem we're so lucky to have found" vibe. Oh, one thing, Namaste - do you know how to make kabli naan? It would be a great addition to your bread offerings - our favorite!

Really great flavors, menu offers a lot of choices for meat and veggie dishes. Bibet is a great host who really cares about his customers too. Their plate ware is really interesting too! I will definitely be coming back.

My husband and I are very happy to find this restaurant in Arvada. We had a lovely dinner on a Thursday evening. He had lamb saag and I had chicken makhani. Both dishes were very flavorful and the service was excellent. We both agreed that this is our new go to place for Indian food in Arvada. (Yak and Yeti used to be but it has changed and the food is not as good as it once was)

My husband and I tried Namaste today and loved it! I am a huge Indian food fan and am very picky about Indian restaurants--in fact, we usually make our own Indian food because it turns out better than most restaurant food. I saw this place open (they recently opened in June) and decided to give it a try. We were glad we did as everything we ordered was top notch! We tried the vegetable biryani, chicken tikka kabob, meat samosa and chai. The quality was great and the dishes were very flavorful. We both felt that the service was awesome-very attentive and professional. We are excited to go back and try some more of their dishes. I would highly recommend this place for a great meal with friendly staff. Glad to see an Indian restaurant open that serves FRESH food!

I am pretty new to Indian food but have been at it for a year or so and definitely know what a like. I can tell you I have had the buffet, the curry, tandoori & vindaloo chicken all which were great. I have been there 3 times and takeout once always the food was really fresh I requested extra hot on the lamb curry last time in and will dial it back to hot next go round. For freshness and flavor I think this a significant star above Yak & Yeti and the two places I have been to in Aurora. The place is clean and a little more upscale very comfortable. The location doesn't drive a lot of traffic I fear they are underexposed and worry how long they will make so if Indian is your thing they are worth a spin.

I will come often this is my new favorite place! The garlic cheese naan was a hit with my kids. My husband got the chicken curry with white meat ( its awesome that they let you choose!). My kids got the Chicken Tikki Kabob they liked it. And the saffron rice was amazing. Overall an excellent meal and well worth the price.

Great food, great service and in my opinion fair prices. I've enjoyed the buffet twice during the day, eating in, and three take out's. The restaurant doesn't seem to get very busy from what I see, still a hidden gem! I highly recommend trying it out.

We received a flyer promoting this restaurant, and being fans of Indian food, thought we would give it a try to mix it up (we too frequent Yak and Yeti). We were quite disappointed to find that they now only offer dinner buffet on Thursday nights, but we ordered the Thali for 2, which offered a nice variety. Everything was delicious. I have actually never had lamb before, and found the lamb curry to be tender and tasty. The vegetable pakora is the best I've had, and everything else was flavorful and delicious. The service was excellent and our glasses stayed filled. They even accepted our coupon for the buffet, since that is what we were coming in for. I am always a big fan of buffets, because I get bored of eating the same dish for an entire meal, but the Thali was a decent substitute. Next time, we'll be sure to go during the lunch buffet or on a Thursday night.

Love this place. Tried the lunch buffet and everything was fresh and delicious. Can't wait to go back for dinner. The decor is tastefully done and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive.

  • Tessa C.

For pick up, we ordered chicken tikka masala (hot), garlic/onion naan, and chicken momo (fried). The masala was the perfect amount of spice for people who enjoy a little zing to their meals; the momo was a tad dry and the sauce that came with it was a garlicy, mediocre sauce; the naan was perfect. Overall, I'm impressed. I've only been to a few Little India locations in Denver and never wow'd, but this was a 'wow, YES!, finally good Indian food' moment for me so absolutely 5 stars.

  • Lewis B.

The yelp for this place claims it is vegan. It is not even close. There is almost nothing that is dairy free and they serve meat. So no, FALSE, incorrect. I ended up eating dairy, but if you are a vegan communist this is not the place for you. The food: the food is Nepalese so I can't really compare to other restaurants. It's good, a bit sweeter than Indian food. The atmosphere: real quiet. The people were nice. Normal people eat there. You leave without the smell of food on you.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to in the US. After working in India and trying everything I could while there, I feel I got an authentic experience, right in Denver. The place is very clean and comfortable. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars that I feel it deserves. The have a Check in special, so take advantage of it! Ps love the Indian musical playing in the bar!

Originally I was going to get to-go but decided to stay and do the buffet instead. For a Sunday at 2, the buffet was well represented. My first few bites of everything were tasty and I thought I'd found a good Indian restaurant near my house. Then I ordered a cheese naan. My first couple bites I got a flavor I couldn't quite place. Then I realized I was eating cheddar cheese or a blend of with notes of Italian spices. What?! Then after a few more bites of buffet items things started to get really salty. I ended up leaving a little on my plate which I just hate doing. The samosa was good as was the chicken tikka masala. The saag paneer wasn't the texture or flavor I am used to. I like my saag very well cooked with lots of flavors that don't taste 100% like spinach. And while the naan was good, I was thrown by the type of cheese used. I've never seen it before and I'd prefer a more traditional naan.

The more I come here the more I fall in love with thia place over the other Indian restaurants in the area. I am having to write a new review for some reason I can't edit my previous review to give it a 5 stars instead of 4. I would recommend this place highly especially at the lunch hour when you can go get a very delicious buffet. Their buffet price checking offer is a great deal. They take pride in their buffet and their dinners. I recently was at a buffet her to other Indian restaurants that I like but their buffet quality was terrible and when it became time at the buffet was going to close within an hour they did not replenish the food but made us pay for the leftovers which was not very good. This is a small place but the more that I come the more I absolutely love it and would recommend it to me Indian restaurant lovers and for those that are coming first time.

Their food is the bomb! If you get the buffet you eat till you want to puke and do it again cheap! Just kidding! You have to try these guys.

I just realized I forgot to write a review last time I was there. We have been there several times and we really like their food, and it's clean. We will go back next time we are in town.

Have been here twice for lunch buffet ($10 per person), and I have been so impressed with their selection of foods and the flavors! By far the best Indian food I have had, in Denver or otherwise. What's really amazing is that each dish has it's own flavor, and they all taste different. Saag paneer is tender and not chewy, tikka masala has just the right amount of spice, and they have a delicious mint sauce and mango chutney. I love to sample everything on the buffet, which they keep well-stocked and fresh up until the end of lunch hour. Once when I came I was eating vegetarian, and they had lots of options, including sweet potato tikka masala that was delicious. I'll definitely be coming back here.

We usually try the buffet first, then pick out our favorites and come back for dinner, but it was a Saturday night and it was our anniversary and we both agreed that Indian sounded good. There were several other tables there at 8pm and we were seated promptly, drink orders taken and papadam delivered to the table. We ordered the Saag Paneer with garlic naan appetizer which we both loved - the garlic naan was fantastic, and the Saag was very flavorful. (If you order that appetizer and there are only two of you, you will have enough naan to eat with your main courses) We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and Paneer Masala medium spicy, which was the perfect spiciness for both of us. Yummy flavor! My husband didn't like the Chai. It wasn't sweet at all like he is used to. Not sure if that is just their recipe or someone forgot the sweetener? I love having leftovers to eat the next day. I can't wait to try the buffet! We will definitely go back.

Excellent lunch buffet. For $10 per person fantastic value. Food and service was outstanding. Will visit again soon

Lunch buffet hit the spot. Fresh variety of items on the buffet. At least half a dozen chicken entrees and just as many veggie choices, PLUS a nice salad spread. Service was calm and efficient. Tucked in the corner steps away from the park-n-ride and far enough back from Wadsworth to feel secluded. Excellent, relaxing lunch.

  • Sharon W.

I've now eaten in the restaurant three times and have had take out three times. We get our food medium heat and it's perfect. The saag and vindaloo are our favorites, especially with lamb. Just delicious!! Perfect naan. We also love Yak and Yeti, but this is our new favorite Indian food in Denver.

  • Nicole P.

It's all about the lunch buffet! I come here every month with the girls from work, and we love it. for $10 you can get an all you can eat lunch buffet, with lots of options and complementary naan. It started out slow, but now offers all the foods I was looking for. Keep that sweet potato dish, Namaste! I will say, if you want the lunch buffet, get there by 12:30. After that, it's been picked over. One time we showed up and there was so little food left, we asked them to refresh the food. Of course it took a while before we got to eat, but there was very little food out, so we felt it was necessary. Traditional music plays low in the background and the wait staff is never rude. We always pile our plates full, complain that we took too much, and manage to eat it all anyways because it's delicious!

Tandoori chicken was on point. Spinnach dish great. Chicken curry...yum. Sauces...etc. Buffet was a bit smaller than others, but pride was taken, and staff was nice. P.S. I'm pretty sure I saw a whole bar in there.

  • Nat S.

Pretty good buffet, saag, aloo gobi, butter chicken, and a few other dishes. They had mini samosas, and some soggy pakoras. They bring you fresh made naan to your table, like Yak and Yeti. I still like Yak and Yeti a bit more, but very good overall. Buffet is 9.99$, would go back!

I love Indian food, so I was really excited to see Namaste India when the beau and I left the movie theater across the street. We mosied on into this place at about 6:30pm on a Friday night. The joint was packed to the brim and we were able to snag the last available table. I always take this as a good sign. There was a Yelp check in deal for 15% off your bill which the waiter happily accepted when he came to greet us. They have a really nice selection of beer and offer 22oz bottles! Needless to say, I only needed one Old Monk to have me in good spirits. For an appetizer, we got the chicken Pakora. I must say that I like Little India's version of this dish better. The chicken was a little on the dry side. The flavor was good though. Our entrees arrived soon after we finished the last of the Pakora. Perfect timing! I got the lamb vindaloo medium spicy and the guy opted for the shrimp tikka masala medium spicy. Both dishes were delicious and had just the right amount of heat for us. They even refilled our rice when we were only about half way through it. Leftovers ensured us both another meal and we left feeling happy and full. We will definitely be back.

I ordered take-out for the first time on New Years Eve. The saag paneer tasted like it came out of a freezer, the vegetable pakora was soggy, and full of the cheapest veggies (mostly onions and green pepper ). The naan was actually the only thing that was any good. Not to be crude but, I was also on the toilet for an unpleasant amount of time as well. I've had some really good Indian food in the area so I would definitely not to go back to this restaurant. Little India in Belmar was worlds better! I was very disappointed to say the least.

This place is bad. Really bad. Customer service sucks and they don't take criticism positively. I would expect Indians to be more hospitable but they were so rude. Think about going here if you crave for authentic Indian food! Food is bad!

  • Teresa L.

Stopped in here last night. We wanted Indian and haven't been thrilled with our normal option (Yak & Yeti), so we gave it a try. Around 5 it was empty and stayed empty until we left at 6. The server said it picked up later and got busy. I got the chicken mix max masala, and hubs got the lamb mhakani. We got a couple of types of naan-garlic and a sweet one. Our food was amazing. More flavorful than Y&Y has been and very fresh. My "mix max" masala included a ton of fresh veggies- cauliflower, broccoli, squash, and some others. It was sweet and salty and spicy- just perfect. Hubs ordered his dish spicy and agrees it was perfectly seasoned and really good. They had a good selection of Indian beers and wines, as well as cocktails and a full bar. Yak and Yeti should be shaking in its boots; there's a new kid in town!

Amazing Indian food!!!!! I've worked all over the world and spent a lot of time in India and this restaurant BY FAR is the absolute best Indian food I've tasted in Colorado! Do not pass go, do not collect $200, and go directly to this restaurant and get your tasty Indian grub. And, this place was also very family friendly.

  • Savy P.

They have a great lunch buffet. You've gotta try the fresh green beans! They are perfectly spiced! They also have a tv playing Indian pop (maybe Bollywood?) music videos. Love it!

  • Larry M.

Food was good, service was excellent. Our server's recommendations were fabulous. Don't miss the tomato coconut soup. I don't usually like tomato soup (the canned blah stuff). This was well spiced with a complexity of flavors - absolutely a 5 star. The other outstanding dishes were the Naan - both the spinach stuffed and garlic were big hits with all of us. The huge vegetarian samosas disappeared quickly. We ordered 4 main courses: an eggplant, vegetarian, paneer and rice with shrimp. All were tasty, the rice could have used more shrimp. The only disappointment was the raita. Best advice would be to ask your server if you're debating between possibilities. Ours sure steered us in the right direction. We'd go back.

This place is a new favorite. I stumbled across them while hunting for local delivery options. While I am a bit of an adventurous eater, I'm vegetarian and my girlfriend has a gluten allergy so that takes away a huge chunk of our options. For our first order we played it safe and ordered a few of our favorite dishes and were surprised at just how awesome EVERYTHING was. Good portion sizes, perfectly spiced and no weird sticks or hunks of mystery vegetable to pick around. I ate every bite... to the point that I was uncomfortably full. Last night we ordered one of our regular dishes (dal tarka), which was phenomenal, but mixed it up with a couple other entrees and sides. Again, everything was awesome... and again I ate too much. To top it off, they secretly upgraded our order and delivery was 20 minutes quicker than what we had been quoted. Oh Namaste... you're going to get me to stop cooking all together one of these days.

Namaste India In Arvada.... Came for Dinner with Hubs on Friday August 16th 2013, after running some errands in this part of Neighborhood. Time was about 18:35hrs ish. Right when we enter this establishment, we were seated promptly and given the Menu. At that hour, Man, this establishment is packed to the brim. I whispered to myself, is this a Good Sign? I do hope so... Looking at the Menu, it seems extensive but somehow it does NOT WOW us as much as we want to. Nevertheless, we opt to order these following items : * Lamb Vindaloo (My Order) ($14.95) * Lamb Biryanis (Hubs Order) ($14.95) We shared the following item : * Cheese Naan ($2.95) Hubs opt for Chai ($2.95) as part of his beverages while I just opt for water. Throughout the evening, our server offers several refills for the Chai, which Hubs like it so much coz it reminds him on how I made Chai for Hubs at home. Now, the wait begins. We feel that this establishment was UNDER-STAFF, Means that LED to SLOW SERVICE for the order to be taken or let alone for the food to be served... *SIGH* These were the observation that we made throughout our dinner experience here. Patrons who were there before us, their order TOOK Awhile, let alone ours. After our server took our order, another serve came to bring out the complimentary Papadum and its dipping sauce of Spicy Cilantro Chutney and one Sweet Sauce @ 18:50hrs. Hubs like those Papadum, and he said next time, he wants me to get those Papadum from the Indian Grocery store, so I can fry it at home. Then came Hubs order of Chai @ 18:55hrs. By about 15 minutes or so, Hubs felt like he wanted to just leave this establishment, but I told him NOT to...so we stayed. By 19:21hrs FINALLY our food arrived at our table. The Cheese Naan came out luke warm though I cannot deny Hubs like it. Hubs order of Lamb Biryani and my order of Lamb Vindaloo. I even have to ask for the Raita, that comes with the Biryani order coz our Server forgot about it. Both our order FELL Short in terms of the SPICY Level we have been hoping for, since we SPECIFICALLY Request for our food to be EXTRA EXTRA SPICY. Yes the food is flavorful, but the service was indeed lacking that evening. My order of Lamb Vindaloo, comes with MORE Potatoes rather than the Lamb pieces itself. This I don't fancy coz I am paying to eat Lamb NOT Potatoes, People... *DOUBLE SIGH* Since by at this time, we were indeed STARVING, we just accept our food, and ate it. By 19:55hrs, we ask for the check and ask for the receipt, but our server DID NOT return with the receipt that we want, we left. Sorry Namaste India... *VERY SAD FACE INDEED* @174/2013

This place is great! I've had plenty of Indian to know that this place is very good. The flavor was amazing. I ordered off the menu, not the buffet. Definitely had 5 star flavor. The price is very reasonable 13-17 per entree. For this price I would not expect the high quality of food this restaurant has.

I tried this place as it was convenient and on my way home. This place is fantastic! I'd drive out of my way to go back. I only ordered 'to go' however the service was great and the taste was fantastic! I had left overs so I'm still eating it 3 days later - I could eat their food breakfast, lunch and dinner! Do try, you won't be disappointed! Yum!

Great lunch buffet. And everything was fresh and tasted like it had been made recently. Nice service and the decor is that of a fine restaurant. Will definitely make this my go-to place for Indian food.

I'm a huge Y&Y fan, and wanted to try a different spot. Used a "yelp" deal for extra incentive. Hubby had the vindaloo and I had the sweet potato Marsala. Ordered garlic nan. It's at the end of a strip mall, behind a fast food spot, so not easy yo find. Got their at 5:45, and the place was dead. Left at 7:30.... Still dead. Nice staff. Attentive. ...but that may be because no one else was there to serve! Food was OK. Not the best, ... Not the worst. Mine could have been a bit spicier. Hubs said his lamb wasn't the best quality. The nan was awesome. Didn't have beer on draft. I'll stick with Y&Y. ...and they make their own beer!

Most impressive thing here is the sauteed zuchinni dish. Wine was short poured and expensive.

The food here is quite good, but I must say its way overpriced. We spend $50 on delivery and get an order of Tikki Masala, Naan and a couple rices. Also what they give you is quite inconsistent. Sometimes you'll get 1 rice when ordering 2 Masalas or 2 pieces of Naan for 2 complete orders. I expect a bit more for $50!

  • Kasey T.

Our daughter loves Namaste and took my husband and myself there for a Friday night dinner. We arrived at 5:30, no wait. I ordered the Tiki Masala and it was delicious. We also ordered garlic and cheese Naan bread. The bread was my favorite part! They bring you plenty of food to share family style. I tried my daughters spinach, sorry forgot the name. It was tasty also. I think next time we go back, it will be for the buffet. As a new consumer of Indian food, the buffet seems like the next step so we can try a little of everything. There is a deal on yelp for an $8.99 buffet! It popped up when I checked in. The buffet runs for lunch and Thursday evening.

I have been waiting for so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so... so long. Oh and it is 2:00pm and there are five people in the dinning room. I don't even care about the food any more.

Excellent food. The carrot pudding was extra tasty as was my favorite Chicken Tikka. Fresh buffet food on Sunday brunch. Everything tasted a touch above average. Very quiet! Per it's name. Complaints section: a bit warm, and no air circulation. Felt like I was in India. No WIFi. No open WiFi within range. Kokoro or Death Star could be used if you obtain passwords in advance.

My local favorite Indian food place in the northwest area. I love that they can make all dishes with salmon or sweet potato if I'm looking for a veggie dish. Their garlic and cheese nann is amazing too! Good, healthy, fast!

I wouldn't normally write a review after only one visit, but when we forgot our leftovers our server came running outside and flagged down our car. Thank god I left a decent tip. The food (meat and veggie thali for 2) was quite good, and enough for 2 meals each. It was quite rich, especially the saag paneer, but it wasn't stomach-turning the way overly buttery indian food can be.

Out of this world, perfectly prepared Indian food with pleasant service. Bottomless Chai. Consistent and just great! Malai Kofta is my fav.

We usually eat at Yak and Yeti when we are in Arvada but we decided to try something new tonight and boy were we thrilled we did. This is some of the better Indian food I have had in the Denver area. On Thursdays they have an all day buffet with all the vegetarian favorites like Korma and saag paneer. The prices are average, the service good, and they have a full bar to boot. The food was great not only because of the spicing, but it was some of the freshest I have had at an Indian restaurant. Awesome veggie pekora and perfect garlic naan. Highly recommended.

2.5 stars. Ordered delivery last night for myself n my son. We had 6 wings, sweet potato masala, chicken tikka masala and those little balls in syrup. $50 later and I'm just not that impressed. I live really close to that other place on Sheridan n 88th rhymes with tac. The masala sauces were decent but the potato n chicken were small and sparse. Rice was bland, as was the naan. The wings had decent flavor but a couple tasted a little off. I will say that those milk balls were delish! But $5 for 4 little balls?!?!? Are you kiddin me???? Not worth it. So for the sake of mathematics I'll round up but the other place is slightly better for slightly less cash and gives you more volume. I won't be back if I can help it. Just my opinion.

Love the food. I am a fan of Indian food and have not found many good places in Denver. This place is great. The service was good and food potions were large. Our favorite was the Chicken Masala and the vegetable korma.

I REALLY like Namaste. While I have only been during lunch time, the food has always been super tasty and hot. My only complaint is that the staff here is very friendly, but super slow. Both times I've been here, the place has been almost empty, with several staff standing around, and very little getting done. Despite the slow staff, I have eaten a lot of Indian food all over the world, and this is some of the better tasting food I have had. Give it a try!

My husband and I came here for the first time and we absolutely LOVED it! The environment was great, the staff were all super friendly, and the food was seriously the best Indian food we've ever had. We ordered the lamb curry, tandoori chicken, and garlic naan - all were amazing. We normally don't eat dessert but decided to give it a try since everything else was so good. I can't remember the name of it, but it had carrots in it and was also delicious (kind of like sweet potato casserole). Definitely a place we'll be coming to on a regular basis.

I absolutely love Indian food ! I love trying all the Indian places in Denver ( Yes I have goals) I was expecting something a little different with this place, but they do offer some pretty outstanding dishes. They had a few different desserts I've never had before , and it was nice to try something new. I think this place is roughly middle of the road. I ordered an iced tea and it was slightly sweeter then I would prefer. I tried this place during the buffet ( which I recommend) its the best way to try what they offer ..before you decide ( if you decide) to come back for a dinner service. I don't know if I will be back , I really think ( and probably always will) Jewel of India is the best Indian in Denver.

Authentic food down to serving dishes. Food is so good and you are treated as royalty by the staff. The samosas are mouthwateringly delicious. The lamb curry is spicy and filling. Had an amazing dinner there, will definitely be back. Namaste!

A happy little surprise! We were originally going to go to Little Anita's after a Costco run and found Namaste in its place instead. Not being set on any particular cuisine, we parked it and headed inside. Pretty slow but we learned that they had been open for less than a week. They had a buffet set up for dinner so we went ahead and did that. This was definitely some of the better Indian buffet food I've had. They were keeping a good eye on the items that were running low and bringing out more food in small batches. As a result, even though it was only us and one other table, the food tasted incredibly fresh. The saag paneer was bright and green, daal was hearty, and there was a good tofu and potato curry dish. The server also brought a basket of hot naan to the table. The beer list was a tad abysmal and I think they would do well with putting a few Colorado craft selections on the menu (IPA tastes great with Indian food, hint hint). Also, the buffet was just a tad more than we were hoping to spend for dinner (around $17 pp, I think). That said, we were glad we happened upon this place and will stick it into the Arvadaland rotation.

Best in town for the price. While the buffet is OK-to-good, ordering off the menu is better. Worth a try whether you're desperately searching for Indian food in Denver, or want to try Indian food for the first time and need it to be good! Saag, Tikka Masala, Lamb anything, garlic naan are all good. Kitchen listens when you tell them to make it spicy, though for heat freaks, their very spiciest has an off flavor which undermines the flavor of the dish, so skip that here. Decent beer list... Compared to other Indian restaurants, at least.

Ordered for takeout tonight and was pleasantly surprised. The portions were HUGE and the Chicken Tikka Masala was perfectly spiced. I even got a courtesy call that my food was ready. Quick, easy, and delicious--I'll definitely be returning!

We had travelled all day and were craving for some Indian food. But to our disappointment the food was really bad. The spices were uncooked and there was no hospitality offered by the staff. We expressed our dissatisfaction to the manager and he was least interested. Would never recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat authentic Indian food.

    (1)
  • Seth C.

I went there because of the deal they were offering. Their chai was ridiculously sweet (think syrup or cough medicine sweet) and came out with that congealed milk on top (gross). Their masala was not bad, but also slightly sweet which was odd. It's a cute little place but hard to believe they will make it as it's pretty quiet in there.

Great food, great service. Clean and simple environment. I typical cringe at most buffets, but this is by far the best Indian buffet I've had. Well done, Namaste!

The lunch buffet for $9.99 is an excellent value. Hours for the lunch buffet are 11 to 2:30 weekdays and 11:30 to 3 Saturday and Sunday. There's a dinner buffet on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. The buffet food is not spicy-hot (not even the vindaloo!) but it is very flavorful and fresh. Our party of five enjoyed every bite. The naan was hot and plentiful. Dishes on the buffet included a salad bar, pickled onion, salty mango pickle (achar), the usual good sauces, potato samosas, vegetable pakora, pappadam, soupy daal, chicken vindaloo, chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken thighs, vegetable korma, saag paneer, a noodle dish, plain and saffron rice, and three of my favorite desserts: sweet carrot pudding, mango custard, and rice pudding. I may have left out an item or three. Our rating: delicious! Everyone in our party of five enjoyed everything we tasted, and among us I think we tried everything on the buffet. I determined to try even things that are not my particular favorites, and I was amazed with how good it all was. Excellent nuances in all the flavors. It says something that I didn't save room for the dessert! We were all thoroughly satisfied. The saag paneer, the korma, and all the chicken dishes were outstanding. Service was really great for a buffet, with attention paid to refilling our water and chai and to the maintenance of the buffet itself. I hope they can keep this up when they are crowded, which they certainly should be. The restaurant itself is very tastefully decorated, simple, elegant and welcoming. Thanks, Yelpers, for finding us another winner.

Yummy. We ordered delivery on a snow day and there was some confusion about our house, but then everything worked out. The masala was nicely integrated, the saag paneer wasn't overly creamy, plus it had a nice cheese to spinach ratio, the samosas were crispy despite long drive times and the lamb kebabs were decent (a little on the dry side, and the onions and peppers had leaked out of the package). Naan was also nicely done. The food quality tasted better than Little India, too. I'd do a repeat for sure.

  • Mark O.

The owner asked me how I found out about them. I mentioned Yelp and he seemed very pleased. The food was prepared very, very well. Samosas were piping hot and everything tasted very fresh. I ordered my vindaloo at a medium-plus and it was just hot enough. Portions were very generous. They do offer a dinner buffet Thurs-Sun if that's more of your cup of tea. As I was leaving, they were setting it up and it looked like a nice variety of dishes, including seafood.

I'm always complaining that there's a serious shortage of authentic ethnic food around these parts. Enter Namaste: Best Indian we have found in the Denver area thus far. On an ordinary trip we hit up the chicken tikka masala or Korma. Just left and found out first hand about their Thursday night buffet. Everything was awesome. Buffet didn't look like it had been sitting out forever like a lot of other places. I'll drive 30 minutes out of my way any day to grub on some of this legit Indian food!!

Great place, smells delicious when you walk in and they don't disappoint. Try the spicy favorite chicken tikka masala and sweet potato masala for an incredible combination of flavor. We went for lunch so it was a calm and relaxing environment.

Great lunch after a day of mountain biking. We just missed the buffet so ordered the Thali for two...yum! Our waiter honored our Yelp coupon as well even though it was not valid on the wknd. The dishes were flavorful and served hot. Perfect naan and really kind and friendly servers. And, bonus, sat outside to keep an eye on our unlocked Mnt bikes on the car.

This restaurant is barely recognizable from just a few months back when it was a Little Anita's Mexican restaurant. They did a beautiful job of converting the space into an elegant Indian restaurant. The 9.99 lunch buffet is an excellent value, especially when you use the 15% off check-in offer. Highlights included the fried (not deep fried) okra, which was spicy and delicious. Also the naan, spicy cabbage fry, samosas and saag paneer was very tasty. While the vegetarian option were good, the chick options were all very dry. I was hopeful that since I arrived around 11:50, it would all be very fresh. Unfortunately, the tandoori, tikka masala and curry chicken all seemed over-cooked. Hopefully, it was just an off-day. Still, the dry chicken, won't be enough to deter me. I'll definitely be back.

I wish this review were about the food, because it all smelled delicious and just like the food I ate when traveling in India (surprising for a semi-fast food Indian restaurant). However, this review is about the service and people. We stopped in while driving back from Boulder to Denver because we needed to use a restroom. The staff there were so friendly given our unusual request and considering we were not there to order.

Terrific place for India, Nepalese, Indo Chinese and Tibetan specialties. Open now for 5 months with an amazingly diverse menu. Family, partners owned. Wait staff very attentive, Ambiance includes linen table cloths and napkins. The food? I ordered my litmus test dish, Bhindi Masala, okra cooked with onion, tomato, and spices. Ordered "spicey" an 8 on a 0-10 scale, was perfect with nice burn! Best Bhindi I have ever had. The okra was green, not over done and greasy. My wife had lamb Tikka Masala, marinated meat in a cream sauce. Full bar, nice wine list. Bit hard to find on Wadsworth Bypass, but just west of KokoRo, in a strip section with a Starbucks. We will return and recommend highly!

Great new Indian place in Arvada. We had dinner as a family with small kids. Excellent service and food to boot. They actually listen to your needs re: spice level. My kids loved the kids' daal which was perfect. We are returning soon for the buffet because it looks so good with so many choices. The flavors were great and it speaks volumes that my kids could eat it. We are regular patrons of yak and yeti and I have to say, I liked the food and service here much much better! You know it's a good sign when Indian-Americans go to an Indian restaurant or order food to go/delivery. So... go try it out if you haven't already. Only recommendation I have is coloring menus for kids to keep them busy.

ambiance - good. I did not like this restaurant. This claims to be an Indian restaurant and there is nothing Indian in it. First of all they served us with 'papad' and it was oily - Any indian will know papad type they server are never put in oil they are made on fire and its dry. Secondly we ordered Chicken Soup and Dal Soup - Dal Soup was ok, Chicken soup looked and tasted like Chiken Tikka masala and no taste of Chicken soup. Finally we ordered a chicken biryani and i was shocked to see a cherry on a biryani never ever seen a cherry on biryani and taste was horrible no spices or anything in it... when we mixed with the chicken soup it was better than worse. I cant give less rating than this... there is nothing indian in this restaurant. i'm an indian and i can tell the taste of the things i have been eating for years. I think they can improvise.

They're brand new and the food is very well done great dal makhani and combo biryani. The medium was a little on the mild side if spicy for real spice lovers and I thought the hot was good but still not very hot. Great flavors and great service!! We will certainly be back!

  • Pinky K.

There is no reason for this restaurant to be rated so highly. This is not at all authentic Indian cuisine nor does it taste as good. I agree with the previous reviewer they do not treat Indian people well and charged us a 18% tip for 4 people saying that it was added because Indians don't tip well. We will not be visiting this place again and other Indians should also not tolerate such racist behavior.

Namaste India has very good Indian food. It has better food than Yak and Yeti and a nice clean atmosphere. There is a good variety of beers, domestic and imported, and wines. The wait staff is pleasant and cordial. And best of all, in the summer months it is a great place to hide away from the outside heat with their ac.

I've been to several Indian restaurants in the area including Yak & Yeti, which I also like very much. This one, however, is also a real gem. We spoke to the owner who explained that they've only been open for a month, but you couldn't tell based upon the excellent service and fantastic food we received. They were thorough when I asked about specific dietary components of some of the dishes, and explained that they offer several dishes that can be served vegan. We really enjoyed our meal and will definitely return!

I'd noticed the sign for this place and finally decided to stop in for some take out. They were still organizing the bar but everything was clean and ready for business. I ordered a beer and some food, and chatted with the staff while I was waiting. Everyone was very friendly. The takeout was absolutely amazing! I got home and went nuts on my Kormas and naan. I ordered "medium" and was very happy with the heat level, it was exactly as advertised (a little spicy, but not super hot). The meat was tender and the sauce was soooo good. The seasoning was perfect! I have been thinking about this dish every since, and can't wait to go back and try it again! Great addition to the neighborhood!

This place is really something special. I like Indian food, but it isn't usually my favorite ethnic food. However, the food here is some of the best Indian food I can remember. The staff was also friendly, and they had an especially sincere desire that we enjoy our meal. My fiancee wanted to avoid tomatoes, and the waiter went into the back to confer with the chef about what dishes would be best without the tomatoes. There are some really crummy options in and around this strip mall. But I'm already looking forward to my next trip to Namaste... which I hope to time to catch their lunch buffet.

The food is excellent - have been wishing there was a place like this in Arvada for years - no dealing with Denver traffic and parking costs. Plus, nice ambience with table cloths and cloth napkins. Staff is very nice and helpful, they love to talk about the restaurant and their food. Come on out to Namaste India and bring your friends, we want them to be around for a long time!

I am writing this review because I really want and hope Namaste stays around. Quite, great customer service, amazing food and easy to get seating or take out any night of the week. I hear they have a lunchtime buffet that is quite good as well, that is next on MY list.

So good! I've been here twice in one week! The first time, I just had the tomato coconut soup, as I wasn't very hungry, and it was so delicious that I made certain to be hungry for my next visit to the buffet! Quite possibly the best saag I've had in the US.

A passionate observer of Indian cuisine I was excited to see another Indian restaurant in Arvada. I have been an avid fan of Yak and Yeti and made many comparisons between the two. Food: I had the lunch buffet, which was delicious. The rice was aromatic and delicious, the different offerings were also very good. The food was not as good as Yak and Yeti, but at nearly five dollars less, it was incredible value. Perfect lunchtime buffet, the food was fresh on the buffet even though I had lunch later in the day. I did not partake of any libations but anytime I see Colorado Strahan's whiskey on the shelf it makes me think that they at least tried with their selection. So kudos to them for that. Service: Friendly service, very nice. Kept my drinks filled consistently and seemed eager to serve. Atmosphere: My biggest knock against Namaste was the atmosphere. I came in during a time when restaurants are traditionally empty, and it was pretty empty, however there was no music, kitchen noise, or television to cut the rather awkward silence. I could hear the manager doing business and see employees eat. It would have been nice to have some music to listen to, or a television on which old Bollywood movies were playing. That's my only negative against Namaste. I am looking forward to visiting Namaste again soon!

I had the buffet because it seemed ready to go and had mostly what id want. I didn't see a way to make my dish spicier if I wanted. But I'm not complaining. The food tasted very good and I will come back next time I'm in the area. The server was very sweet. My water was always checked and they always inquired to make sure the food met my expectations. I'm sure the dishes on the menu are even better. I'll try those next time!

Ill admit the food was pretty tasty, especially the naan. However the wait staff was unorganized and we waited at least 10 minutes before our server even greeted us. We were barley checked on and our food took almost 30 minutes to come out. Our bill was also messed up and the random servers we had were not very polite and even argued with us when we kindly asked to split the bill. The girl waa rude and frustrated and talked back to us. I didnt feel valued as a customer, more like a burden. It was decently busy and under staffed but I will more than likely not be coming back. I also had a %15 off and didnt even dare to let the server know with how we were being treated sadly.

Found Namaste while looking for takeout options in Arvada before a show at Red Rocks. The restaurant came up as having a $10 for $20 deal so we gave it a shot. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to please us as new, potentially referring/returning customers. We ordered chicken tikka, lamb saag, garlic and cheese naan and spinach naan. All of the food was delicious with the meats cooked perfectly and the sauces flavorful. With our to go order, the staff even included plates, utensils and bottles of water, going the extra mile. I'd definitely go back to Namaste when in the Arvada area or if just craving some good Indian food. They did have a buffet section set up, though it wasn't going at the time. Would love to try more of the dishes Namaste has to offer.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant in the area. Every time I have dined there, the food has been amazing. The lunch buffet is also wonderful. The staff is wonderful and accommodating. I would recommend this to anyone who loves Indian food. The location is not easy to find, it is as the end of a strip mall behind Kokoro's but definitely worth looking for.

Great new Indian joint over in Arvada. Very friendly service. Went above and beyond for our takeout order (which we took to Red Rocks). Gave us plates, extra water, everything we needed. And the food was plenty flavorful, more so than some other places in town.

This place has some of the best Indian food in the Denver area as far as I'm concerned - better than the clay oven spot in Cherry Creek and as good if not better than Little India. Not much in the way of ambiance but solid portions, good prices and really delicious food.

My family just visited Namaste India for the first time tonight. It looks great inside, and the servers were quick and kind. The food was all very good. We enjoyed an appetizer sampler plate, 4 meals, and 2 orders of naan. The naan is especially good. We had leftovers for later and have every intention of going back. Great job for a new business!
