If you go for hibachi....you HAVE to absolutely have to request ARTHUR. He is the best hibachi chef ever. He is a master of his art. Absolutely amazing. Will boggle your mind with his tricks. Stunning.

I am a person who is happy when things are good, surprised when things are great, and bummed when things are bad. But I am absolutely completely angered and disappointed for all time when things are mediocre. Mediocre is the worst; things could be better so easily if people gave a modicum more effort, but instead they choose to do very little and it makes the experience unbelievably disappointing. Such is the case with Mt. Fuji. We were excited because the reviews are great, it's very close to my house, and there were some bright spots on the menu, such as katsu meals, hamachi kama, sunomono, etc. When we walked in, there were only a few tables, but we stood for 5 minutes before anyone even greeted us. Once we had seats, and throughout our meal, it took 5-10 minutes for our waiter (who is also the owner I think? or a manager) would ever come over. We ordered a spider roll, spicy black pepper tuna roll, hamachi kama, and gyoza. While we waited, we slowly realized that not a single employee or chef in the restaurant is Japanese (it turned the owners are Chinese, which is fine, but why are you running a Japanese restaurant!?), neither are the hibachi chefs, which is a food trend I've never understood anyway. The food was, well, mediocre. The gyoza were not freshly made, and were woefully undercooked and not seared, so the pastry just dried out and it didn't have any flavor. The kama was good, but it's hard to screw that up. The rolls were OK- they stayed together but it was impossible to taste the fish and the flavors were indistinct. For our food items and one large beer, it was $40, which is certainly not cheap. We both left feeling a bit swindled, honestly. The food was lousy, the service was terrible, and honestly it was exactly what you would fear a Japanese restaurant in a suburban strip mall would be. Basically, now I know to stop trusting reviews for any remotely "ethnic" foods in suburbs. I wasn't expecting the restaurant experiences I've had in Japan, but I was expecting, well, ACTUAL Japanese food made by actual Japanese chefs. Apparently, in Arvada, that is too much to ask.

I have been to many different Japanese restaurants, and they are all similar. Mt. Fuji, on the other hand, is a cut above the rest. Not only was the service prompt and well timed, but the food was absolutely amazing. The soup was hot, the salad was well dressed, and when the hibachi came (almost the second I finished my soup and salad), it looked like it had been prepared for a magazine, and tasted like it had been prepared for a king.

Excellent service. I made a reservation for 14 people with 2 kids for my large family that was visiting my sister in Arvada. We needed a place that was good for kids and had a pretty big menu to fit everyone's needs. We were all VERY happy with the service and the prices were insanely reasonable. We had "Bob" as our cook. I don't remember his real name, but our waiter told us it was "Bob". He had just started and moved from Miami. He was excellent. From his tricks to his sense of humor. Hands down, the best Hibachi cook we've ever had. We all ended up getting the hibachi grill and everything was delicious. The beers were buy 2 get one free for Kirin. From the decor, the service, food and prices: everything was perfect. I'm glad my family had a great time here since we're so chaotic. It was nice to have a nice dinner together at this new lovely place.

Thank you for moving to Arvada! It's nice to have a good friendly restaurant in the area. We sat at a table. My daughter had the Unagi Dom and said it was the best she has had in a while. Hubby had the hibachi steak and that was great and I had the teriyaki chicken which was also so good. The steamed rice is really good sticky rice. Loved it. Our waiter was wonderful. Very attentive but not overbearing. The bus boys were good and refilled our water on point. So glad we got there just after 5. We were seated right away but by the time we left they're was a wait. It was Friday night and the wait didn't seam too long. We will try the sushi next time. It looked amazing. Or do take out on a work night maybe. Regretting not trying the saki. Again next time. Second visit and we had sushi, 10 rolls! For 4 people!! And it was really good. We tried 6 regular rolls and 4 specialty rolls. Their regular rolls are larger than most sushi restaurants we have been too. We could of ordered less but nonetheless we finished it off. Their Unagi rolls are my hands down favorite! Delicious. One of our specialty rolls had mango and tuna I think and that would be my second favorite. Again, so happy they moved to Arvada!!! Tonight our server was Daisy. She was so busy with all the hibachi tables a large party of 9 and 3 other tables. She was fantastic and fun! We will be going back for more sushi....maybe not as much as we are tonight. May sit at the bar next time and watch them prepare the sushi and get to talk to them about everything. Could be fun! Also gave an extra star for good sushi

Really good sushi, and Arvada? Yes, it is so! Went there this evening after realizing it was not far from my house and we had a special roles, regular rolls, tempura veggies and a few beers. Our waiter was extremely attentive, and kind of silly. The restaurant was remarkably clean and looked like something that you'd find in LoDo. So basically this place was really good, have a nice ingredients, they did a great job and you should go there!

Awesomely memorable experience! We came for my daughter's birthday and requested Arthur as fellow Yelpers suggested. He did not disappoint!! He is extremely entertaining from the get go and all through the dinner! The food was phenomenal. I had steak and lobster and my daughter had sampled the sushi (All very fresh) and ordered seafood herself. A couple of notes. All the hibachi meals will be plenty for dinner. Ordering appetizers was a bit too much food for my little girl. Also, the cocktails are very weak and expensive!! Overall a good experience. Plan to sit a while. It took a half hour before the show started for a total of a 2 hour meal. It was well worth it though. We needed something a little higher end with quality in our neighborhood!

Mt. Fuji is one of the closest sushi joints to us and while we have tried it more than once today was the final straw... Placed a lunch order for pickup. Nothing complex just two roll specials and then sent the husband to pick up. He came home with no order because they claimed an order was never placed. Called and got a guy who actually speaks and understands English. He found the order and we opted to shoot for delivery. Big mistake!!!! Order arrives over an hour and 15 later - the wait wasn't the worse part - the rolls from the "b" column have no veg. One was suppose to have asparagus. Called and got "I am sorry that doesn't usually happen here" with no offer to make it right....and that was from the guy who speaks and understands English. Maybe this is an eat in only kindve place but we will not be ordering again.

I love this place! Best delivery option in the area by far. The food is delicious, and the customer service is fantastic. Shout out to John for the great work!!!

I wanted hibachi, and he wanted sushi; this place is close, so we thought we would try it. We were seated quickly but close to the door. Each time the door was opened, we got a blast of frigid air. The lights kept flickering brightly (like a strobe light), so the staff turned the lights off. Then a few minutes later tried them again. They still strobed, so the lights were out for the remainder of our visit. The food was ok when it came, but it got cold quickly because of the air from the door. Then we didn't see our waitress again. At all. We asked the busboy (very nice, very attentive guy) for a box. The waitress passed our table several times after we finished eating. Finally, we asked the busboy to send our waitress over with a check and to see a manager. Another waiter came over, apologized for the delay and informed us that no manager was on staff. He also gave us a 10% discount and a lame excuse for the waitress (which we new from observation was not true). We watched other people be seated, get their food, and leave again during the time we waited for our check. We will not be back here.

Service was absolutely amazing!!! The food was so good we spent $125 easily and about $110 of it was me. Sitting at the bar we were tended to right away. The environment was very cool and the lay out was great.

We went here tonight and waited over an hour after being seated for the chef to even one to our table. It was an hour and a half until we got our food...

Here's a fledgling restaurant with all it's ducks in a row! Since this place is only a few weeks old, I was expecting that service would be slow, orders might be incomplete, and food could be mediocre. However, I was so wrong. Our server was incredibly friendly and fast. He seemed like he really wanted to be there, but he didn't hover over us. The sushi was fairly priced and very pleasing. Next time, I think I'll take some friends and try the hibachi!

My family brought me here today for father's day. It was a great experience. We had hibachi for our dinner and had Bob as our chef. Great guy to talk to. I thought the service was great. Great people, drinks never got half empty as they kept them refilled. We ordered sushi as appetizers and the presentation was amazing. The chef was very decorative with the plates only using the sauces. He also was having specials and we got one named LA roll. Shrimp tempura with crab and avocado and jalapeno. That was so flavorful. If that wasn't enough my wife order a drink special buy 2 beers and get one free! I loved that. To me it was all you can drink. The server named Ed and Jacob was very friendly as well as the 2 ladies servers. They always kept our table area clear of dirty plates. For our main course we had filet mignon lobster combo, steak and shrimp combo, scallops, and salmon. Bob our hibachi chef was very friendly. If that wasn't good enough his grilling skills was even better. I request medium rare and boy it was so good. Melted like butter. Over all I give this place a 5star for their service, 5 for the quality of food, and 5 for the cleanness of the restaurant. I highly recommend this Japanese restaurant for families, friends, and parties

We have been there twice the last time being last night. On both occasions we had Sushi/Sashimi, once at a table and once at the Sushi Bar. Both times the fish was a fresh as you can get here in Colorado. The food presentation was excellent and the service was good considering we were there on busy nights. If you like fresh tasty Sushi then you must try this place!

Pretty good stuff, The Mt. Fuji Seafood Deluxe Salad was amazing. Good Presentation on the Sushi. Only complaint is the Rainbow Naruto Roll had too much cucumber wrapped around it all I could taste was cucumber. I removed about half of it and it was way better. The wife got the teriyaki chicken dinner and that was delicious also. Will be back to try Hibachi.

I won't be going in to this place ever again. Food was good but the service was terrible! This was our second time and I'm just not impressed. I wanted a dirty martini and they had no idea what that was. A restrauraunt should always be clean and this place was dirty!! It was dark inside and no back ground music. Very aqward feeling. Not worth it.

The first time we went the service was terrible but the food was pretty good. The second time we sat at the hibachi table and the service was great but the food was incredibly overpriced and they certainly fill you up on rice and noodles before you get any meat. This last time we ordered takeout and got a California roll and a spicy tuna. The California was ok but the spicy tuna was rancid! I called and they offered "store credit" rather than a refund. Frankly I think i will forego the credit and avoid food poisoning. Even affordable sushi should be safe to eat.

My date and I sat for 20 minutes at the bar with no one acknowledging us to get drinks while we were waiting for a table. After a bout 30 min and asking twice to get some drinks the manager said it was too busy! We could have at least settled for a water!!! Since we waited for so long we specifically asked for a certain chef to be entertained by and we did not get him. Horrible service overall. They put sauce on everything. I could't even taste the sweet natural flavor of my lobster..... Very disappointing. I wish I would give it zero stars.

Been here lots of times, but I have to say that this place has gone down hill in a short amount of time. Slow service, hectic atmosphere, disorganized and not clean at all. There were receipts and papers everywhere. Not going back!

This is my second time eating here since it opened, I went last night for dinner and it did not disappoint. They were starting to get busy but we were seated right away to enjoy the hibachi. The food was delicious, everyone in my group ordered the hibachi shrimp and steak with fried rice. The shrimp and steaks were perfectly cooked and were perfectly seasoned. The steak was very tender and had great flavor. Our server keep drinks and glasses of water full. With the meat, rice, veggies and noddles, you won't leave this place hungry. You can even share a dinner if you also want to order some sushi. Another group seated next to us ordered sushi and they were loving it. I will have to come for lunch sometime and try it. The chef at the Hibachi was friendly and professional, you can tell he really enjoys what he does! Overall it is a fun experience and the food is always great. The prices are fair considering the amount and the quality of food you get. I hope this Mt. Fuji location continues to maintain it's standards, so many of them have gone down hill. Arvada definitely needed a good Hibachi and sushi place!

This was a hard one to review... The food was very good! The ambiguous was lacking- very bright, good it you are with younger kids, not so good if you are on a date. I appreciate how clean it looked and smelled, however, did not like seeing cleaning buckets everywhere.

We stopped in for lunch yesterday. We aren't big sushi fans, but love hibachi grilling. I guess they don't offer this at lunch. Since we had never been there, we needed some time to review the menu. I felt like the waitress was rushing us to order. Hubby and I each had teriyaki chicken with salad and soup. Our daughter had the kids lunch box with teriyaki chicken, California rolls and fried wontons. The teriyaki sauce was rather plain. We did like the salad dressing, and the soup was okay. The California rolls were good (my daughter didn't like them, so I ate them). The wontons were good also. Overall, I've had much better experiences and the fact that the hibachi grilling style wasn't available for lunch was a big disappointment. Unless we are part of a group that really wants to go to this place, we probably won't be going back.

I was thrilled to find a sushi restaurant so close to home at least 15 minutes away. The one sushi restaurant the bf and I enjoy is 35 minutes away. My review is solely on the sushi and not the hibachi. For drinks I ordered the Mai Tai, served in a typical Mai Tai shaped class with a basic transparent straw, which I feel was aesthetically unattractive. Other customers received Mai tai's with a pineapple fruit wedge and two black slender straws - more aesthetically pleasing. The taste of the drink was too fruity and according to the bf did not taste like any Mai tai drink he was used to, which might explain why it was only $5. Sushi ordered included the Godzilla roll, Phoenix roll (both specials $8 at the time) and the volcano roll. The Godzilla roll was just ok - fish deep fried and presented as sushi rolls. I was not impressed and nor was the bf. However, we both did enjoy the Phoenix roll very much. I enjoyed the volcano roll more than the bf. Service was prompt mainly because when we arrived the restaurant was empty but picked up soon after 30 minutes. Establishment was very clean and trendy. Even though the service was good and ambience nice, nothing really stood out as amazing. Therefore, the bf and I will still likely travel 35 minutes to our favorite sushi place. However, I do want to come back to Mt Fuji to try the hibachi!

Another great sushi place in our neighborhood! Reasonable prices, decent happy hour, friendly service. We stopped in for dinner on a weeknight a few weeks ago. Sampled a good assortment of rolls and sashimi. No hibachi stuff, although I'd like to go back and try that. The fish was all fresh and tasty. Rolls were flavorful and well-prepared. We will definitely go back!

Great happy hour, service was fast. The food was very fresh and they had a great happy hour selection. Great place to get sushi in Arvada. $2 for hot sake and $1 sushi pieces. Fantastic

My husband and I came here on a Saturday night for a date night. We haven't had one in months and I have been looking forward to coming here since it opened. I have heard nothing but great reviews from friends who have gone to the other restaurants in town. We showed up a little after 5 and there were only 2 other people. Which is such a shame. This place is great! My husband and I both did the hibachi, no sushi so I cannot comment on that. We sat at a table with 3 other people who showed up about 10 minutes after we did. My husband got the sake and I just got soda. My glass was never less than half full. They constantly refilled it, which I love. I hate waiting for waiters to refill drinks. I got the Calamari meal and my husband got the steak. We also did the fried rice. It also came with soup(amazing), salad(eh), noodles (amazing!), vegetables (amazing!) and then the rice and the main meal. Everything was absolutely delicious. I wanted to eat everything but there was so much food! I couldn't try any of the dessert. Definitely worth the price we paid. The show was a lot of fun too. Lots of fire and "fireworks." They also did the onion volcano thing which I have yet to ever see at Benihana. Since I am 28 weeks pregnant, I could not take advantage of this, but the cook will also give you sake that he pours directly into your mouth from a ketchup bottle look-alike. My husband got two mouth-full pours. And he said it was good sake, so they didn't skimp on that either. He loved that they did that. I do have to say the alcohol is a little on the expensive side (not that I tried any ;) ). The only thing I didn't like was they had a lot of employees working and since there wasn't as many guests, they stood around and took lots of pictures of themselves on their cellphones and talked really loud to each other. But it wasn't enough to make me take any stars off and the service wasn't tarnished at all from it. So I guess that's good. I will definitely be returning any chance I can. 5/11/15 -- came back here for Mother's Day and this place was just insane. We had to wait about 20 minutes for the hibachi table even though we had a reservation. And he service wasn't nearly as good as before. The hibachi presentation was only about 1/3 as long as before. They didn't do any sort of sake in the mouth or even trying to shoot veggies in to your mouth like I saw at other tables. The food was still good but I don't think it was as good as before. Not as seasoned. Because it was busy you can tell that everyone was rushed. I never got a refill on my water. It's still good food though but for $25 a plate I would like at least a little more presentation.

Oh my God, WHAT A TRAIN WRECK this place is. After golfing at Westwoods, we stopped in around 7pm for some Sushi after reading some of the reviews. Just goes to show that 4.5 out of 5 stars can be misleading. Maybe the folks who have reviewed this place don't get out much. Maybe it was a bad night. Maybe I was in the Twilight Zone. First, I'll admit the sushi was really good. When we finally got it. Maguro, Unagi, Rock and Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll - all very tasty. However, the effort to get food in front of us was a joke. We were offered a table, but asked instead if we could sit at the bar and order food there, and the hostess replied "of course". Several minutes went by, with 5 or 6 servers rushing behind the bar setting up their own drinks. One guy asked us how we were doing tonight, and I replied "great, thirsty though". . . he chuckled and disappeared. 20 minutes later the hostess stopped by and asked if anyone had taken our drink order, so she obliged and stepped behind the bar and got us a round. 15 minutes later I had to wander around the restaurant to find anyone who might be interested in taking the sushi sheet I'd filled out. Shortly thereafter, our cold Edamame showed up. Never saw the Veg Tempura. After another 10 or 15 minutes, two seats at the sushi counter opened up so we moved our empty drink glasses over there, hoping we'd draw more attention. Had to ask for silverware setup. Had to ask for plates. Sushi was finally served, amid an entertaining argument in Japanese between a couple of the Sushi chefs and a couple of servers, with volleys of Japanese swear words lobbed over our heads. Nice. No one ever asked if we needed anything else. No drink refills. Once again had to get up from my chair to ask someone for my bill. Of course, the first ticket they gave me was for another table. Finally got the right ticket, but charged us for the Veg Tempura we never got. I slid my cash across the counter, and the guy said thanks and asked if I wanted change. Hell yes I want my change. Naturally, he couldn't do the math and I had to ask for ALL my change. I pride myself on tipping at least 20 percent when service is good, 10-15 even if it's just so-so. It's been YEARS since I didn't leave a cent - but I honestly couldn't say anyone deserved one. Maybe you like trains, and the ensuing wrecks . . . .if so, give it a try. I'm never going back. Namiko, I'm sorry for cheating on you.....from now on, you're my only true Sushi joint in Arvada . . . .I've learned my lesson.

Overall I like this place and I would return. The place has the hibachi grills, regular dining and a sushi bar. The restaurant is a bit small but it didn't bother us since it wasn't busy when we went on a friday night. We sat at a dining table and both of us ordered the hibachi steak. It was very comparable to other places we've been too across the country. Their fried rice is very good but they charge an extra $3 for it which we thought was a bit high. The service was just okay, nothing to brag about. They are friendly enough for us to go back.

Before tonight, my son and I had sat at a "table". Not at the hibachi cook top that seats your party and anyone else you happen to be paired with as you walk in (a la Benihana's, etc. ) Before tonight, we kept to the quiet side of the restaurant, keeping it "real" with sushi rolls, bento boxes and the like. Before tonight, I didn't want to over stimulate and frustrate my 17 year old son with Asperger's with fire, banging, steam, and everything else that comes along with the loud side of ANY hibachi restaurant. Until tonight.... Tonight we had to do the loud side since we had my 10 year old daughter with us, too. He doesn't want her to miss out on anything, so actually, it was his idea. As we waited for our seats, he paced back and forth with anticipation of what was to come.... would they flip the veggies at our faces? Would the bathroom be occupied when it became too much and he wanted to hide? Would the people working or sitting with us be annoyed with him or look with wonder and "why" when he wanted to run away when it became too much? As soon as the cook came to the table after we enjoyed our soups and salads, he (my son) bolted for the bathroom. The waiter noticed. "Is he doing ok?" I replied, "Oh yea, he will be fine, he has autism so he is really sensitive to sound, banging and we REALLY don't like fire. " The cook heard too. My son returned to the table from the entry way to the bathroom area where he was watching our tables laughter and cheers from afar. He can handle it there. When he did, the cook leaned into us and whispered, "There is more fire, but it's little. very small." My son tensed up....... the cook continued... "I can let you know when it is coming." We both nodded. The next 45 minutes were the most relaxed I have ever felt as a mother in any restaurant with my son, other than our Sensory Friendly "Opening Doors" nights we host at the Autism Society of Colorado. Autism is a big part of our lives in our house, my career and our family. Any place that treats people with invisible disabilities like we experienced tonight deserves amazing review, props and raises... While I realize this environment won't work for all families affected by autism, I still want to acknowledge the amazing accommodations we witnessed as a family tonight, no matter how small their staff may think it is. While Authur was impressive at other stations around us, my family and I will be requesting John as our server and Mike as our cook each time we plan to come to Mt. Fuji in Arvada...... and I hope you do too!! Thanks John and Mike! You both were awesome!

This location is only 6weeks old (at Christmas). The ambiance is so much better than the Westminster location. Arthur was an amazing chef (or he'd say he's just a dishwasher). The hibachi tables are in a nice big open area. If you want to have a nice intimate conversation, I'd go for sushi in a booth - but if you want some entertainment with your dinner - this is a great spot. Welcome to Arvada Mt Fuji!!!

Ate there on a busy Saturday night. The food was all delicious. The hibachi chef was fun, and worked with our special requests. The drinks took forever, but once they came they were delicious. They seemed under staffed, but the staff that was there were all friendly and helpful. I made a reservation through Yelp, but the restaurant didn't have a record of it. The place recently opened, and I think they are having some growing pains, but the food and atmosphere were good enough to overcome that.

This place was fanbloodytastic! Took the kids for dinner. The chef was very entertaining and our waiter was hilarious!!! The food was delicious...sushi was top notch. Drinks were always full. This place was awesome! The interior is very trendy and pleasing to the eye. The service was friendly and prompt and all the food was hot and delicious! Okay we loved it so I have no idea what happened to the one or two guys who are giving it only a few stars and we eat out alot. Anyway, we have never been to the Westminster one so we cannot compare, but we had a great friendly server - great server, JOHN, and the food was great too! We did not do the hibachi, but there was a bday party and it looked like a blast! We will need to try that when we can get a large group together. They looked like they were having a blast at the grill with the fires, catching food in their mouths and hats. What fun! We ordered and split an entree... frankly, the entrees can feed two... it is a lot of food and it is good food! We were pleased, and would return here. The service was great, everyone was friendly. It was not busy super late on Saturday, but the food came out within minutes of ordering, and we ordered a variety of foods- appetizers, entree, sushi and sides. Give them a try!

Our favorite date night! If we don't make it on Wednesday we go another night during the week. The sushi is fresh. The taste is amazing! The service is exceptional!! We love John, he always welcomes us with a hug and handshake. Daisy is attentive and welcoming. AND.... Simon's drop it like it's hot (sake bombs) is the best. Jack, the manager, always checks to make sure our experience is first rate. If you haven't been you have to go! !

I got the Salmon Teriyaki dinner. It was fantastic! The service was excellent, but a bit slow (this is the only reason I knocked it down from 5 stars). Will definitely be back to try the sushi next!

We went on New Years Eve. Loved the food and we had a lot of fun. We were seated near the exterior wall and it was extremely cold and drafty. Hopefully they are able to get that fixed because we really enjoyed our experience there!

Everything was spot on perfect! Especially the service and our Chef Mike. I took my family out for a Holiday Dinner paid for my company and we couldn't have made a better choice. My 3 year-old daughter made a special friend, Mary. She took my daughter around the restaurant and showed her the waving cat and even took pictures for her! This wasn't the first time we've been to Mt. Fuji and it certainly won't be the last.

This was our first time. My 5 yr old's 1st time for hibachi. If you've seen the other review, Arthur really is that amazing. A true entertainer and an outstanding Chef! The wait staff is also very good. We had a great time! Ourvfood was delicious. We'll definitely be back. Try going for lunch or early dinner.

We visited during off hours so no waiting and the service was very friendly. We tried the hibachi and it was very good (watch out, lots of food). Arthur was our chef and is quite entertaining and funny. Expect extra interaction from him. Nice place, and I'm so glad that there's decent Japanese food in the A-West district.

Had a nice meal and great service. The food is moderately priced but worth the value. We will dine here again soon...

Impressive! Great food, great service and great bartender (Saturday evening 4/4) Kids hibachi prices are reasonable and the portions for all were plenty. Scallops were amazing (on the small side, but there were A LOT of them), so was the filet. We will plan on trying the sushi there next time as well. The bar looked like it was fun, and all the staff were friendly and seemed to enjoy being there. It's great to have a fun and tasty new place in Arvada!

Placed a take-out order for sushi last night. Rolls were yummy and very well priced. I'm giving 4 stars only because when placing the order, the guy wouldn't let my husband order the miso soup or salad. He literally said "No, you don't want that" (as if it wasn't good...?) While I totally appreciate recommendations, it seems to me that these two items are part of meal. So why is it on the menu if you don't think they are good? And at $2 a piece, just let me order it and if I don't like it, let me decide. We will definitely be back, and by God I'm going to get the soup and salad no matter what they say.

We celebrated my son's birthday there Monday night--the entire staff was very welcoming from the moment we walked in. Our group sat at one of the hibachi grills, the chef was great--very entertaining, food was delicious--made for a wonderful evening. The staff sang Happy Birthday while beating this cool drum and presented us w/ a delicious fried banana w/ "Happy Birthday" written artistically in chocolate on the plate--so very nice! We can't wait to go back. Many thanks to them for making our evening so special and one my kids won't forget.

I came here for the first time as a new Arvada resident. I brought a coupon I received in the mail and they ended up rejecting it because it was the "Westminster location". But they didn't mind sending us a waitress in training in which we accommodated. Will never go back, ever.

On a tight schedule today, but wanted to post a quick note of support for this local business. We were very pleasantly surprised last night, with the all round amazing, welcoming and friendly service. We sat at the hibachi table. Celebrating our friend's daughter's b-day. We had three girls ages 11 and 8. Aurthur was our chef and performer. He was incredibly entertaining and very attentive with our girls. The food was as good as it gets for hibachi style and the service was simply outstanding. When it comes to hibachi, most people think of Benihana. before last night, we certainly fit in that category. Based on last night's experience, Mt. Fuji is a stepwise improvement over the big chain. Granted the big chain has lots of fancy decorations and beautiful fish tanks, while Mt. Fuji is more plainly decorated, but for us the main attraction is the action and fun at the hibachi table, and Mt. Fuji shines above its big brother competition. This local restaurant is fairly new, but assuming they continue their excellence, I can see them expanding in the next few years and maybe even upgrading the wall decorations. This local business should be very proud.
