Fire & Ice Bistro Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got the chance last week. What's really nice is that it's a detached building with its own parking lot, so parking is easy-peasy on the south end of Olde Town. The staff are very friendly, but it seems like they might have been a bit under-staffed last Monday night. In spite of it, our service was great and I think our server comped us one of our beers because we had to wait to get our leftovers wrapped up and pick up the check. Very classy move. We got there in time for Happy Hour which is like a buck off of their draft beers and glasses of wine. The menu is pretty diverse with a decent selection of appetizers, salads, entrees, and adult beverages. Well, they had me at green chili cheese fries topped with homemade jalapeno queso on the appetizer menu. I ordered that and (reluctantly) shared it with the hubby. It was DELICIOUS! The fries are hand-cut, the green chili is the perfect amount of heat and that jalapeno queso... WOW! It's a HUGE portion for an appetizer and it ended up being my dinner. I did add a side house salad to keep it "healthy" and it was a pretty fancy little house salad for only $3. The hubby ordered the Fire & Ice burger which was a thick patty stuffed with blue cheese, topped with aioli and caramelized onions on a fresh ciabatta roll. He could only manage about half of it after all the chili cheese fries, but enjoyed every bite. We had all this food, plus 2 beers (one was comped - Thank You), a glass of wine and walked out of there stuffed and with leftovers for under $40! WHAT?!?!?! We will definitely be back and maybe I'll exercise a little self-control so I can try an entree next time... or not. Oh, those green chili cheese fries....holy mother...

Not bad.. Average food, decent beers, average atmosphere. I had fabulous service. I would say based on atmosphere and other options, I might choose to go somewhere else. Food and service were great. If you want to try a burger place and have a great craft beer, give it a try! Plus side is they do have a parking lot and it's near old towne arvada.

Staff was fast and friendly, food was amazing!!! Pyro chicken was so delicious, fire and ice burger was tasty and so was the mexican rice soup (little spicy). I highly recommend this place.

Absolutely amazing food! We had beer cheese soup, fettuccine with the garlic cream sauce and the ghost burger. Laid back relaxed atmosphere and friendly service.

Average. Food was decent, just average and nothing memorable. Service was good. Ambiance is... interesting. They're trying to be something they're not. Glad we tried this place once but probably won't go back.

Finally had a chance to try this place the other day. While I can't say it stands out as anything spectacular, it's okay and I'm happy to see another option in Old Towne Arvada. That said, I do want to give these guys another try, so will post an update when I do.

Very cool place!! Excellent menu, even specifies meals for those who are deathly afraid of gluten. Wonderful shakes, hand cut French fries, very yummy food. Will definitely be back if I'm in the neighborhood. m

Awesome food. Mike had sweet potatoe fries, Delicious;Cooked perfectly, crunchy, flavorful, and the Godfather sandwich with Italian sausage, creamy mozzarella cheese and flavorful sauce. Yummy. I got the wings with chili - Thai sauce. Just the right amount of sweetness and heat. Delic!

We visited fire and ice for the first time in August. The place was clean, service friendly and welcoming. The salads, burgers and green chili fries were wonderful. We treated ourselves with milkshakes for dessert. Absolutely delicious. We recommend this little olde Arvada gem to everyone we know.

Yay a great burger in old town Arvada! The bloody Mary's were yum, the burgers were moist and delicious and cooked just right. The green chili was tasty. Great little spot, we will be back. One odd thing they do here is charge for mayo. One dollar to be exact. They call it aioli so i guess that's why they charge for it. Other than that, great experience!

Huge portions. Decent food. Chips, salsa and queso were great. The Green Chile burger wasn't anything to brag about. Huge burger though. Fish and chips we're just falling apart. Salads are pretty darn big too. Lotta food. But I'd rather eat at silvis down the street

Came here on a whim and love this place! Great prices, great food and the staff is very attentive. The only complaint I have is the bar lights (bright blue) are too bright! I have no problem sitting at a booth/table but I would rather sit at the bar. This may be my new hangout spot.

I stopped in for dinner recently after seeing that Fire & Ice Bistro was open for business. They didn't have their taps going yet so I had a bottled beer, which of course was served with frosty (ice) mug. We started out splitting the Spicy Sampler app, which had fried shrooms, pearl onions, pickles and zucchini. It came with some chipotle honey ranch dressing and overall was a good start, even if it was 9 bucks. They have a decent selection of menu items - burgers, steaks, fish, chicken, etc. I went for the Aries, a prime rib sandwich that the menu says has 6oz of meat but really was closer to about half of that, and was thinly sliced. It came with provolone cheese, a green olive aioli, greens, tomato, and some au jus for dipping. It was OK, but not as good as I had hoped, mostly because you couldn't really taste the prime rib. The menu didn't list that it had greens on it, which did not go with the au jus. I got some onion rings for my side, which were made with red onions and were very good. My dining partner couldn't choose so she asked the server to let the chef decide what she should get. After much anticipation they brought her out the Zeus, a rib eye steak on a bunch of vegies. She said it was OK, but nothing to get too excited about. Overall the place was obviously in it's growing pains stage. Drinks took a while to get, employees milling around not sure what to do, food taking a long time, etc. However, you could see that for the most part everyone was at least trying, which goes a long way for me. Everyone was also very nice, which also helps make up for the occasional lack of execution. F&I has some great things going for it, and I look forward to checking it out again sometime soon!

The food was fine, but my complaint is regarding the service. I had called prior to their noon opening to schedule a pick-up for an office I had a meeting with. The guy on the phone said since I was calling ahead, they'd have our order done right at noon. Went in to pick it up, and an extremely rude man informed me that in no way is the food ready and would not be ready until 12:15. I explained that I had talked to someone different and he proceeded to tell me I was flat out wrong. Horrible way to interact with a paying customer. I will most certainly not be coming here again.

Phenomenal experience after phenomenal experience! I highly recommend this restaurant! The food is exceptional and the service is always fantastic. We have been here several times on date night and with a large group of friends and have always had a very pleasurable experience from when we walk in the door to when we leave. I highly recommend you check it out!

Just read reviews from 5 months ago. People who complained about the portions must be whales instead of humans. We had the nachos and Gaia salad and they hit the spot! The place is bright and the service is solid. The wait staff was not wearing corsets... If they were... What's wrong with that? The locals need to lighten up and learn that there is more to clothing than flannel and cowboy hats.

This place is pretty awesome but will reserve the extra star for my burger being well instead of medium. When you spend $11 bucks for a " juicy", "medium" burger it is what you expect. Mine was more on the well done side minus the juiciness. My wife likes it well, so I will stop my rant right there. We came in for drinks one time and this time to test the food. Beyond my first sentence I want to say nice job to Chef and the people you have working for you. Todd the /waiter slash bartender is a pro and really knows how to treat a guest. I watched him carefully handle some kinda bitchy ladies at the next table. He went way out of his way to be positive and took good care of them. When we ordered a burger to split, he made sure we were both taken care of by splitting the order in two. You can see from the photo that they didn't split the portion the fries and made sure both plates had ample amount. We split a lunch often and you rarely find this. The sauces were all delicious. Mayo wasn't just mayo it had aioli in it (whatever that is). BBQ sauce was spicy and different which keeps pace with the type of food they serve, excellent. And the third which was more of a house sauce I gather was tasty. Todd came back several times to check on us; quickly refilled waters and the cute girl in the bustier made it a point to stop bussing her table and thanked us for coming as we left. While there we even saw Chef in the back making something with his nitrogen machine which sent off a cloud and was entertaining to watch indeed. Overall the food was well above average in my book, presentation as you can see outstanding, and even the bitchy ladies sitting next to us commented on deliciousness. I am glad we have this new place in our town, we needed it. Will I be back? You bet!! Congrats to Fire & Ice Bistro. You're a big hit

Good things first: the food was good, and the service friendly. The food really is made here, and you can tell. It is fresh and well crafted. The fries were very tasty. I would come back to try some other things. The things to be improved: the au jus with the French dip was pretty salty. I have a feeling that they use the juice from roasting the beef, which is fantastic. But they have to put more salt on the beef than is good for the sauce. So then you have a salty sauce. I did the same for Passover this year when I made prime rib. If they fix that, it will be a great sandwich. I got ranch on the side, but it was really more an aeoli than sauce. It was a bit intense. If they would just dilute with some milk, it will be very tasty. They need a bit more serving help. I know they are trying to keep costs down, and it's probably the owner doing the waiting. But the greeting at times could be slow. Food came out fast though. The theme is also a bit 90s. Since I care more about the food than the place, that's not to bad. But even though it's new, it seems a dated interior. I will centrally come back and update the review.

My GF took her parents and I on Mothers day, the place was very busy but we got a table in less then a half hour. The manager waited on us. All and all a great experience.

First of all, I want to say that our visit could very easily have turned into a 1-star review. There were some hiccups with our food, which is perfectly understandable. It happens. The response we got from our waiter, Mark - and later the manager and chef - was absolutely STELLAR, though. They handled it absolutely perfectly. When we first came in, service was pretty standard. The restaurant was bustling, but not packed. We were seated quickly, given ice water right away, and given enough time to order without feeling rushed or bored. We started with an appetizer - Green Chili Cheese Fries. I didn't know much about this place before we came, so I was pleasantly surprised to see they made the fries (and apparently most, if not all, of their ingredients) in-house. These fries didn't come from a giant brown bag that sat in the back of a freezer for three months. For our meal we ordered a Ghost Chili Burger, Aries Sandwich, and grilled Dragon Strips for our toddler. We've never shied away from taking our toddler out to eat with us; she's well-behaved, loves the attention she gets from strangers, and we like to expose her to new experiences as often as possible. Restaurants do not typically have a lot of imagination when it comes to kid's meals, and with only a couple options on the menu we weren't expecting much here either. When they showed up, though, the chicken strips looked DELICIOUS! Nicely grilled, seasoned, and they came with a variety bowl of real-life fresh fruit! As in, it wasn't canned, it wasn't some wimpy day-old reject junk, and there was real variety to it, not just a bunch of mushy cantaloupe called a "melon medley". Unfortunately, the burger was undercooked, as were a couple of the chicken strips. We showed Mark next time he checked on us, he apologized and immediately whisked the food away to be remade. While we waited, the manager came over to apologize personally. He was professional, polite and made a point of letting us know they welcome children in the establishment. Our food was ready in short time, but unfortunately by that point we had filled up on the Green Chili Cheese Fries so we took the rest home. The burger was too spicy for my boyfriend, but it tasted so good he still finished it off and loved it. He has a pretty mild palate, though, so the average spice-lover will probably love it. The structure of the Aries sandwich doesn't stand up very well to reheating, but it was still a great sandwich. When we were done eating, my fiance spoke to the manager to thank him again for the great service and was introduced to the Chef, who was apologetic and very polite about it as well. If it weren't for the undercooked food - and honestly, our main concern about that was our daughter possibly getting sick if we hadn't caught it - this restaurant would have a solid five stars. We look forward to giving them another try! Also, on a side note, I noticed that there were some pretty significant price discrepancies between the menu on their website and the actual menu in-house. It's not worth factoring into the actual review because prices can change any time - especially for an establishment using fresh ingredients as this one does - but people going by the website menu should have a heads up. Edited to add: I completely forgot to add that the Green Chili Cheese Fries are AWESOME. One order fed two (and a half) of us to filling with some left over and they were delicious!

Absolutely fantastic. Quite a show with handmade shakes made from scratch using nitrogen liquid. Food was fast, generous and perfection to taste. Will make it a a stop every time we come Denver.

Hilariously 80s in lighting, service, and menu. I felt like I had gone back in time when I was asked if I wanted soup or salad. They even light food on fire, table-side, which was such a great 80s throwback that I was a little charmed. My main problem with the place is the food. The chef's palate must be extremely sweet, because everything--from the honey dijon ranch sauce to the red pepper emulsion--was sickeningly sweet. And I LIKE sweet things! But I don't need a sweet quinoa-stuffed artichoke. it's very off-putting. Sweet potato fries--cold in the middle and no salt on them (surprise: they were too sweet!). Fried veggie sampler--so gross I can't even begin to describe all of the problems. Cold vegetables, overly sweet sauce, came 30 minutes after we ordered it (a bit late for an appetizer), soaking in grease. Really a disappointment. Quinoa stuffed artichoke--a great idea that was badly executed. Cheese might help. Or salt. Or spice. Anything but more sugar! Bacon burger--bacon was undercooked and white. Too gross even to think about. The waitress wasn't really very good (she kept trying to put plates on our hands or our drinks or our menus), but she was friendly and attentive. Other wait staff would come by and ask us if we were doing ok. So I thought they were doing a good job there. Overall: the place has some cool concepts and I liked how friendly the service was. They just need someone with a palate to taste all of their menu items, pare down the overstuffed menu, and serve a few good burger options and 1 good quinoa-type item. Give up on the red pepper emulsions!

I finally got to visit fire and ice this week and was very impressed. Atmosphere is awesome. I feel a lot of the restaurants in old town try too hard to be trendy and follow the latest thing or don't try at all. Fire and Ice sets their own path with original menu items, great beverage choices and most importantly great food. The service was friendly and attentive and owner came by to chat with our table. Very down to earth kind of guy you want to see be successful. Try them out you won't regret it. I will definitely be back.

Went here for lunch with a friend last week and tried out the gia salad. I'm a little unsure what exactly the theme is with this place, bright neon blue lights along a huge bar area.. I'm not sure if this is suppose to be a bar/restaurant or if this is paying homage to the 90's "hip trendy spots". I think my server was just trying to be friendly and explain their menu thoroughly but I felt he could have been a lot shorter when talking with us. I understand the hospitality business, so I understand the need for over achieving but sometimes short and sweet is always the way to go. The gia salad had a great variety of berries and the greens were really good. The dressing was shockingly good... it was a sweet mixture that actually complimented the salad and didn't over power it. I will have to come back and try some other items they have and see how things are for their dinner service.

I think I found my new favorite lunch spot while at work in Olde Town Arvada. I got the Pyro here's description from their site "Lightly breaded chicken breast stuffed with pepper jack cheese, apple wood smoked bacon, served atop a sauteed medley of seasonal vegetables and drizzled with a honey bourbon sauce." Very good, came with a side salad with homemade dressing and croutons. All of it was very tasty and it was nice to have a dish for 13 dollars that someone did more than just cook a protein and throw some fries in the box. Will be back to try the rest of the menu. Note I got my order take out, so cannot comment on service but the bar tender was really nice and made me check what was in the bag to make sure everything correct.

I have eaten at Fire & Ice several times. The first time I went with my husband and had a bacon cheeseburger. It was delicious! The next time I took my in laws, and ordered the Aries. It was absolutely amazing!!! Each time I go, I take new people and they're never disappointed.

This is another one of those situations where I wish I could use 1/2 stars. I'm going with 3 stars based on the service - we sat at the bar, and the service was great. In general, the food ranged from not so good to just ok. We had some wings to start, and the wings were baked, which isn't really my favorite preparation, but as far as baked wings go, they were tasty. I went with the Glacier chicken and opted for a salad to start - the salad and the blue cheese dressing were tasty! But the chicken and the veggies on the side were nothing to write home about - there wasn't a whole ton of flavor. My dining companion opted for the green chile burger with fries and the texture of the meat left something to be desired. He only ate a couple of bites and some fries. I'll let him elaborate on the weird texture in his review. In their defense, and as a testament to the good service, the bartender noticed that he didn't eat the burger and took it off the check. That was a pretty great move on his part. Overall the whole fire and ice design scheme seems a bit dated - the bar is lit from underneath with this bright blue light - it was a bit much for me. It's like the color of the light made it really hard to see my food - or something like that. I definitely could have done without the blue neon light shining in my face. I'm honestly not sure if I'd go back - some of the other menu items looked good, and we can definitely use some additional options in the Olde Towne area. I'm just not sure if this is it for me. Maybe I'll return?

Superb food, superior service, and an inviting atmosphere!!!! For almost a month we have past by this place wondering what it was like, well Saturday night we finally went there. One of the best decisions we have ever made. Everything on the menu sounded very tasty, but we each settled on the (flaming) Pyro chicken and a salad. Standing ovation to the chef (Rob). It was a meal to remember and we both cleaned our plates. The salad was very fresh and I had a unique key lime vinaigrette; excellent! We watched the servers deliver many of the other dishes to other customers, such as shrimp cocktail server with dry ice, potato skins that looked like a full meal, and hamburger plates prepared for a king. An added bonus includes drinks severed in frozen glasses. All around it was an awesome experience!! A Must For Everyone!! The entire staff was friendly and made us feel like we had been going there for months. We asked to see the menu again to plan our next visit and meal. We noticed they even do a Sunday Brunch 10AM - 2PM with some very unique twists on standard brunch items. We will definitely be going back and this will become one of our regular places go to. We also started texting our friends and family about this place that they need to try. Outstanding food! When you go, get there early or late, as the prime dinner hours might have a line; people are starting to hear about this excellent place. It is also conveniently located off of Wadsworth & I70/I76 in Olde Town Arvada with plenty of parking across form the Landmark Theater.

The service was quite good. My wife had the Linguini and loved it. She was likewise impressed with the soup of the day. I ordered a medium-well burger on a pretzel roll with onion rings. The sauces were fantastic, the onion rings were abundant and quite good. The burger was undercooked but quite tasty. The desserts looked absolutely fantastic! Sadly, they use styrofoam containers for takeout and leftovers. It would be wonderful if they showed a respect for the environment. It is due to their lack of respect for the environment that I rate them a three as opposed to a five.

It's been a long time since I have been excited about a new place to eat, but I am excited about Fire and Ice. Unique, ans delicious food that left me completely satisfied. Very affordable for what you get. There is a caveat: If you order the pyro entree, be advised-the warning is in the name. Spicy! And incredibly delicious.

I got their Ghost Burger and it was hands down the best burger I have ever had, anywhere. The meat has real flavor to it without any additional sauces. The ghost sauce was great as well. Can't wait to try some new stuff there!

Stopped by w group of friends after landing at DEN on way to Vail. Had a couple vegans and couple carnivores in the group, so looked for a spot that would make everyone happy. And this definitely fit the bill. Excellent service, varied but high quality menu. Only issue is food just doesn't match the decor. Thus the Fire & Ice. Get past the odd Nagel-like website and weird nightclub vibe, and you'll be perfectly happy.

Stumbled in here early on a Saturday evening. A bit worried, as the building is one of those cursed spaces that can't keep a business, it has been a toy store, a deli and a couple other types of restaurants... A little put off when we came in, the young female hostesses and servers were wearing lacy lingerie shirts that looked like they were purchased from the clearance rack at Hot Topic, they were just weird and creepy, didn't fit into the prefab building and cold interior of the restaurant. At that point, we weren't sure we wanted to stay and eat. Glad we did though, as the food did not disappoint. The queso is delicious, and the tortilla chips are amazing, served warm with spicy salsa for $5. We also shared the potato skins appetizer and cheese fries, both were tasty. I ordered a Mexican Salad that was acceptable, nothing to write home about, but the burgers that my husband and kids ordered were HUGE and delicious. Served on Ciabatta buns (maybe from Costco?) with a variety of topping to choose from. The sweet potato fries were very tasty as were the regular fries. My son ordered an Oreo Espresso milk shake that was also yummy, and we ordered the brownie dessert, the brownie was fabulous, but we wished it had a nice scoop of ice cream on it, it was a little dry by itself. They still have a few kinks to work out, our server had WAY too many tables, he did his best, but it would have been impossible for anyone to give great service to 8 tables at a time. Our desserts took a very long time to come out, as the restaurant was getting busy by the time we ordered dessert and the whole place seemed to be struggling to keep up. All in all a satisfying meal for a fair price, I would recommend giving it a try.

The place is weird and confused to say the least. I couldn't stop staring at the hostess's eyebrows. I have never seen something so ridiculous. It looked as if she just took a black marker and allowed some three year old to paint a shape on her face. The corsets waitresses were wearing seemed out of place and unprofessional. My boyfriend and I thought that the staff would look so much more professional if they were wearing just plain black T-shirts and black pants. This "hooters" style of clothing is completely unnecessary and certainly doesn't go well with the cozy old town charm. As for the food - I don't remember what I had. Which is rather strange since I have an awesome memory. All I can remember is that It was boring and below average quality. The thing is if you are serving burgers and all American favs - you have to do a kick ass job to stand out and be memorable. Overall, I think the place has a lot of room to grow.

Never a disappointment. The food is fantastic, and the service rocks. Thank you Christina, Todd, Rob, and the rest of the fantastic staff. Ghost chile burger is the bomb, and the Savory Stack on Sunday, can't go wrong.

Went here a couple weeks ago and the food was sub par for the price. I got the salmon with vegetables. The salmon was fine, but it was a very small portion and I found a piece of plastic wrap in my veggies. The chef came over and apologized and gave us 10% off of our bill, but I lost my appetite after finding it. In short it's a nice staff with alright food for a high price. I would have debated coming back to give them another try if it wasn't for the plastic wrap in my food.

Meh, I am on the fence about this place. We went in all excited and the food did not disappoint. Whoever is in charge of the menu has made some yummy creations - great flavors in the two dishes we ordered. Our waiter was also awesome. Very attentive when you wanted it but not too much when you don't. The drinks are what lowers this place an additional star. I ordered the lemon drop (or it has a name that is somewhat equivalent). It tasted like water with a little liquor mixed in... That is not a drink - please fix this!!! Who wants that as a cocktail (and a pricey cocktail). Our very nice waiter reordered a different drink, which was much better. Nothing amazing though, and I expected liquid nitrogen in our drinks - no such luck! I may have had high expectations, but the horrible drink really knocked them down in my book.

Yuck. The nachos we had to start the meal were good, and led us into a false hope. Dinner came, I had a sandwich that was pretty bland. Shortly after a few bites, it was running right through me. Desert was awful. Raspberry sauce was bitter (how the hell does that even happen?!?) and ruined the entire dessert.

I've only been here two times and My family and I absolutely love it! The atmosphere is very edgy, warm and welcoming. The chief personally came over to make sure our meal was up to par and the bartenders are also phenomenal! I'm sorry I so wanted to like this place but it came up very short for me. A lot of unnecessary flair like smoke machines. The food was ok, the drinks were ok. No more no less. It was what I would expect to eat at a local whole in the wall but they dress it up and big it up like you're getting a 5 star meal. Take it easy guys. See how down to earth our neighborhood is, check out Brauns and see how simple can be good.

Came for lunch not knowing what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised at the excellent food and service. Calamari rings slightly undercooked but tentacles (my fav) perfect. Exec Chef/owner came to check on us and was delightful. Had salmon expertly cooked and all the veggies fresh and cooked were appealing. I'll definitely return for dinner!

The best service my wife and I have had in a very long time! On top of drink refills and order taking without overcrowding. The food was quite good. A little different than "the norm" which is nice. I had the ghost burger. It was cooked perfectly and it has just the right amount of kick. I was offered a taste of their scorpion pepper and choose to pass as the ghost pepper in the burger was starting to really take over! The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is the lack of a drink menu. After leaving, my wife wanted to know more about the place so she googled it and found some delicious sounding drinks available that we had no idea existed due to the lack of a drink menu. We would have gladly rounded our delicious meals off with one of their frozen cocktails had we known ahead of time. I guess it just gives us another reason to return!

07/25/14 Really like the atmosphere of the resturant...very edgy. Beautiful bar. Food is great... really fresh and the menu items have real flavor to them. I had the stuffed artichoke and it was awesome. Chef Rob made me the best shake ever with icecream, liquid nitrogen and alchol! It was the bomb! Wait staff J was very attentative she never let us wait long and always was checking on us. I will let all my friends know to check it out. Kim P

I am a fan of most of the downtown Arvada restaurants (live within a 5 minute walk) and I'm excited to add Fire & Ice to my list of go-to places! The environment is edgy (waitresses in corset tops). It was a very personable experience from the beginning we saw that the menu and chef offered to make whatever your heart fancies if they have the ingredients on the menu. For dessert we let the dessert chef take charge and design us a custom dessert and it was awesome! It had real fire and ice aspects which was so neat and unique. We only ordered appetizers including the wings, chili fries and potato skins, all of which were very tasty, especially the wings. The staff was very attentive and the chefs came to make sure everything was good which it was! Will definitely return and definitely return! Give it a shot, you will love it.

Had the kalamata aioli sandwich which should have been really good. Unfortunately, it was so salty I ate only half and brought the rest home and fed to my dog (mixed with liberal amounts of dog chow to avoid sending her into kidney failure from all the salt). Now, kalamata olives by their nature are salty, but any chef worth his salt (no pun intended) should have been able to tone down the kalamata saltiness with the other incredients, but apparently the meat and everything else had large amounts of salt added as well. In addition, the tinny music continuously playing was way too loud which made it extra annoying. Wine list is almost non-existent. This is basically a 20s-something bar which serves poor food.

Been here twice. Nice staff and cool bartender Todd. I've had the ghost burger, the nachos, a house salad, green chili cheese fries, ghost bbq wings and their mexican special. Nachos were tasty and I loved their queso sauce and salsa. Burger was very good! Wings were too but I really wanted something spicy as ghost pepper alludes to but it was not very spicy as far the ghost bbq sauce or ghost aoli goes. Still pretty good food and staff seems polite and professional so give them a shot. I'll go back again!

WOW! My mom and I went here on a whim on our way to a play at the Arvada Center and loved it! The service was great, and the food was even better. I had an amazing chicken dish called the pyro. It was stuffed with pepper jack cheese and bacon (YUM) erred with veggies. It was one of the best dishes I've ever had. My mom had the artichoke stuffed with Quinoa and we loved that as well. Very Impressed! I only went in for a drink with a client, but will definitely be returning soon for dinner with my husband! This place is very sleek, and the attitude of everyone there was so genuine and refreshing! Todd was our bartender and was very knowledgeable about their offerings. I'm excited to see such a comfortable yet classy place in Olde Town Arvada! I'll leave another review in a week or so after we have dinner! I'm so looking forward to it!

I really enjoyed this place. Something different in Olde Town. I will agree that the decor is a lil 1990's, but I found that to be quite amusing :-P I really like that the food and drink menus are creative and different. Everything here is made from scratch and the price is extremely reasonable. The staff is friendly and very attentive. Service is also fast!!! It was crazy how fast everything came out. I didn't see any of the waitresses wearing corsets like other Yelpers said. Guess they got rid of that, which is a good thing. It would make it very cheesy. Anyways, I like this place and I will definitely be back.

Great atmosphere, nice menu. Started with the French onion soup:broth was very tasty but toast was a doughy piece of bread and was cold. I couldn't get past it so I sent it back. This time was warm enough to melt cheese but got cold again within seconds. Salmon was the main course: cooked to perfection and strawberry salsa was yummy. The vegetables were limp and drowning in oil. Service was friendly and prompt but I was given the wrong check in a nearly empty restaurant.

Coming from 37 years of professional cooking and restaurant/catering management: Visually, entering Fire and Ice offered nothing special. Same old sealed concrete floor and sparse tables. The dining room was clean. We were greeted fast, but the place was 75% empty... so... Our server was mediocre and personality-less The menu was small and limited and lacked any sort of genuine creativity. The Mac-n-Cheese Balls were bland and the Cheese Sauce was right out of the dispenser at 7-11. The Pyro, even its menu description, was busy, but I tried it anyway. Again, it was busy in ingredients and delivered NADA in flavor. (Pass the salt please.) My wife had the Trident (fish and chips). Utterly forgettable. Oddly, the Chef was dissatisfied with the entree and brought out an additional piece of fish. From my days in the kitchen, Ive learned... dont send the entree in the first place if its substandard. Make it again. The price point is competitive. In conclusion, we went, we tasted, we dont need to go again.

Not to sure what to think of the decor and not sure why they are called fire and ice with a partial greek god theme. The menu is pretty basic but all over the place. In an area that is about rustic and "ole town" it's very cold and trying to more modern. Just so lost on the name and theme. The burger are not bad but their wings with their Thai dressing was pretty gross. It was still cold on hot wings and it was like a gel... yes, a gel. So, why 3 stars? Their staff and bartenders are really nice. With my reviews you will notice that service is more important then the food... most of the time.

Finally had a chance to try this place the other day. While I can't say it stands out as anything spectacular, it's okay and I'm happy to see another option in Old Towne Arvada. That said, I do want to give these guys another try, so will post an update when I do.

Delic!

Average. Food was decent, just average and nothing memorable. Service was good. Ambiance is... interesting. They're trying to be something they're not. Glad we tried this place once but probably won't go back.

I got their Ghost Burger and it was hands down the best burger I have ever had, anywhere. The meat has real flavor to it without any additional sauces. The ghost sauce was great as well. Can't wait to try some new stuff there!

Second time here at the fire & ice. Had a great time and will certainly be back again. Can't wait to try the other items on the menu. Thank you Chef Rob!! Very happy to see the project up and running!!

First time and will not be the last! Shawn was a great and welcoming bartender! So stoked for the summer when they have their patio finished, there will be 20 beers on tap and huge TV's for football!

Had the Pyro Chicken everything was cooked perfectly over a bed of squash. Everyone who lives in this area has got a gem. Only critique would be the outfits of the servers were a little odd for the building and surroundings the food wins out over the night club look easily.

We visited fire and ice for the first time in August. The place was clean, service friendly and welcoming. The salads, burgers and green chili fries were wonderful. We treated ourselves with milkshakes for dessert. Absolutely delicious. We recommend this little olde Arvada gem to everyone we know.

The executive chef even came by to ask how we were doing! The food came out so quickly, I was shocked. An amazing place. We will be back!

Yes it is new and yes it has growing pains, but it also has good food, great martinis (thanks Todd!) and a lot of potential. We started with the Oh Bacon Skins on a craving that we get maybe every five years for potato skins. Well, these changed that. They were FANTASTIC. The sauces were incredible but the skins weren't swimming in them and the texture of the filling was a nice surprise. Not quite a twice baked, but way better than the typical "here's a slab of frozen potato with some cheese on it" potato skins you get elsewhere. I had the Aries and it was good; it could stand a bit more meat as the flavor of the vanilla porter marinated and herb crusted prime rib got lost in the bread, which was a bit of a letdown. Hubby had the Trident and loved it, although I've never know him to meet a fried cod he didn't like. Ingredients on everything seemed very fresh and flavorful. We'll definitely be back. I'm looking forward to when the staff isn't so green and nervous, but they'll get it eventually as you could see the veterans helping them out.

Average. Food was decent, just average and nothing memorable. Service was good. Ambiance is... interesting. They're trying to be something they're not. Glad we tried this place once but probably won't go back.

Came here on a whim and love this place! Great prices, great food and the staff is very attentive. The only complaint I have is the bar lights (bright blue) are too bright! I have no problem sitting at a booth/table but I would rather sit at the bar. This may be my new hangout spot.

Huge portions. Decent food. Chips, salsa and queso were great. The Green Chile burger wasn't anything to brag about. Huge burger though. Fish and chips we're just falling apart. Salads are pretty darn big too. Lotta food. But I'd rather eat at silvis down the street
