Bland, bland, bland. I had to add a whole bunch of pepper, soy sauce, and whatever else condiments they had to offer but it still tasted bland. Don't plan to go back. Why you may ask? Well because it was BLAND, BLAND, and BLAND.

I LOVE the food here, especially their sizzling dishes! I tend to add a lot more pepper and soy sauce to add in more flavor to the dish while it's still sizzling. Their service is overall pretty quick and they have never prepared my order incorrectly ever. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for that. A must try!

This place is so delicious. I always order the udon special on the hot skillet. It's the damn best!!! It's so good when you add the chile powder or or ask for garlic butter and put it on your food some more, it is sooooo Good. Writing this review makes me want to go back and order more. I love this place. The only thing thing I'd complain about are the hours, and I hate how it's closed on Mondays, always check the hours online before going cause I always end up going when it is closed and get sad. Other than that I recommend this to all of my friends.

Noisy. This place is noisy. I'm not young anymore. I don't like hip happenin' music. And the people. So many people! All talking! And having a good time while they eat! Well, maybe it's because it was Valentine's Day. I'll let it slide. Got the number 1 with an egg. Beef cooked well. Was a bit under-flavored. I considered using the teriyaki sauce at the table but by the time I was done thinking, the beef had cooked. Nice combo, with the rice and corn. Plenty of food. I'm a big guy, 6'1" and 220lb, and I couldn't finish the food. Decent value. My suggestion - don't get the salad. You don't come to Pepper Lunch for salad.

Quick service. Feels like food comes out literally right after you order it, which is partially true because it's a sizzling hot plate lol. I've been here for years, but never reviewed the place cuz never on Yelp. The food quality, pricing, and service are everything I expect. It's obviously not the best food out there, but you get what you pay for here and the servers do their best.
