Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Very nice home made Gujarati food. Whenever I am not in a mood to cook but me and my husband want something simple and non greasy to eat, we come here. The rotis are extremely soft and they also give an option of puri. It works out very well because you can get to choose a combo of both. Good customer service which adds the icing to the cake!

Now I know I'll love my future travel plans to India. If I had to become vegetarian, I'll eat Krishna all the time. This place is 5 golden stars.

  • Nilay S.

5 stars for Rotis 3 stars for taste 1 star for food being too greasy

A good place to have a quick Gujarati thali .... Nice fresh homely food ... We had Gujarati thali. Roti was exactly as we get at home. I would highly recommend.

  • Gaurav S.

Small but clean. The food is very authentic Gujrati. They offer only very few choices, but I like that because it removes confusion. The prices are low.

    (5)
  • Gautam H.

Awesome gujju food. Rotli is amazing! Ate the house thali which comes with 2 curries ordered chaas on the side and paid $10.65. Beat that Must must must go

  • Hemanshu N.

Love this place. Been here a few times and always feel like coming back for more. They have a limited menu but the food is more homemade-ish and authentic Gujarat than Jay Bharat. Also the atmosphere is nice. Fantastic food. The only reason to knock off a star is the seating. There is very little and it's sort of cramped. Hard for parents with strollers to come in.

  • Jigish M.

Best home made food and authentic Gujarat food in the bay area. I have tried almost every other place but none can come even close to the quality taste and authenticity of their food. We come here almost every other day. I would recommend everyone to try here once and I am sure they would come back again and again

  • Sam S.

We just went to pick up some chapatis and theplas from them based on the reviews i read here. But we ended up eating matar kachori gulab jamun and tea also. Food has authentic gujrati taste and its freshly made and tastes just like home. Its a small place with limited menu but evereything on their menu tastes wonderful.

Really bad food taste wise. Service is not their forte but food is also disappointing. Samosa chat and dal dhokli cannot be worse.

  • Dee V.

This is a family run, hole in the wall Gujrati restaurant. Business seems to be flourishing as a lot of people were there was to-go food. I got 2 orders of thali that came with the following - Dal - was sweet and not to my liking Gujrati kadhi - was flavorful but watery. I know that's the way Gujarati make it, but I have never been on board with that after eating the rich Punjabi version! Aloo curry - pretty decent Roti - super soft and thinnest I have seen! Rice - nothing spectacular Jilebi - ok Rajma - decent Overall it was a pretty meh experience. Nothing bad but nothing excited the taste buds either. It is extremely cheap and that may work in their favor. I may go there again for rotis, or maybe give the thali another try.

  • Vaishnavi R.

Fresh and home made food , I have only tried lunch thali . I wish they had maintained the place much more cleaner .

  • h g.

Very tiny samosas. Dal and vegetables had too much sugar.

    (2)
  • Harsha G.

Family run restaurant with an absence of any kind of deco...but the food here is a winner. Got the kachoris and the dahi vada, and both tasted like they were made at home. Fresh, good ingredients and decent flavoring. The price for both of this was $5 and I was very happy grabbin a snack here. Have heard excellent reviews on the thali, cant wait to go back..Service is friendly but the wait time is long..

  • Z P.

This restaurant is the best Gujarati food I've tasted, second to my mother-in-law's cooking. It's a "hole in the wall" restaurant which has excellent food - thali, chapati, kachori, etc. Reasonable price and friendly service. I've been coming here for the past 8 years and their food is tasty and fresh. I recommend this place to anyone.

Yum. Vegetarians, check this place out. It's like getting a home-cooked meal. So delicious & nourishing! I'm so glad I found this little spot. Try it!

    (5)
  • Seema J.

Delicious and fresh food. Tried the thali, dal dhokli, khaman. It's all fresh and yummy!!! It's like home made food. Great place and so inexpensive.

    (5)
  • Camila A.

Excellent food! We got the lunch special ($5.50) and a few chats, khus lassi ($2.99). So cheap and so good! Everything tasted fresh. I do feel that the chaats were better than the lunch special. But this place has the best gulab jamun, hands down!

    (4)
  • Ranganathan S.

Very good Gujju food. Not a fancy restaurant. It is a very traditional, economical eatery. Limited options/choices n that's why 4* from me.

    (4)
  • Geet S.

This place is gem :) They have best Dhokla in town and that too at very reasonable price.

    (5)
  • Shraddha A.

Been here twice. We ordered the thali both times. This is a modest little restaurant, has only a few tables. I think most people get takeout from here. The food is like home-made food and not spicy at all but yet tasty. The chapatis are really thin and buttered. I love the carrot chutney. So much better than fast food :)

    (5)
  • Mansi A.

Our Indian shop of choice in the Tri-City does not apparently cater dhokla on weekdays, so with slim options, Krishna was our last hope. We ordered a large order of dhokla from here for a party we were having at home. I was definitely not impressed. The consistency was very moist, and when stored, it became somewhat watery. The flavor was nonexistent and rather bland. I don't recommend this place for dhokla at all. Meh.

    (2)
  • Sara D.

Very Simple vegatarian food cooked in Gujarati style -the thali has options for puri/pataha and vvege variations which we did try - and it was really good For the price of around $5 - this would be one of the best Thalis you can get in the bay area

    (5)
  • Arvind K.

Krishna is an excellent choice if you are looking for simple & tasty Indian vegetarian food. I think I have ate there more than my home and I have never had the post meal regret that I have in Indian restaurants. Their food is fresh, simple and tasty.

    (5)
  • Gaurang K.

This is a family style restaurant. Don't go here for ambience, decor or professionalism. Go here for nice, simple, homely, Indian food in gujrati style. No frills. Lovely place.

    (4)
  • VP M.

Thought it would be great seeing the reviews - but disappointed =/ May be I did not like Gujarathi kind of food, not a big fan. Was a very small place but the poori's were made really fresh and tasted good but nothing much to say!

    (3)
  • S S.

Best Gujarati food in Bay Area! This is pure Satvik food. Thalis here are the best with not too much spice, salt, or oil. The service here is very attentive too. Though we live in Sunnyvale, and this outlet is in Fremont, we come here once every month or so due to the awesome homemade food here! :D

    (5)
  • Shikha S.

The dhokla isn't anything special and the lunch thali with puri is average. The potatos aren't that flavorful but the puris are made well.

    (3)
  • Riya J.

We LOVE Krishna! This is a gem of a place for simple yet delicious home cooked food. I think this is closest you can get with home style food in entire bay area. The service is awesome and food is always fresh. I am very impressed with how clean and hygienic their kitchen is. Highly recommend !!!!

  • Viral M.

Truly homemade gujarati food. I am regular patron here.

  • S P.

If you want to have a simple 'ghar ka khaana' (food from home) experience, Krishna is the restaurant. I have been going here for almost the last 10 years. Their lunch thali is reasonable and nice. less oil, good ingredients, clean environment and happy people. Makes eating here all the more good. This is one restaurant where the taste of food has been awesome and the standard has been maintained over the years. Their snacks are truly mouth-watering. Great place, must try Gujarati cuisine.

  • Varsah D.

I am rating this keeping these assumptions in mind: 1) You're not looking for a full range Gujarati restaurant, with bells and whistles. Repeat after me: limited selection, non creamy, limited spices. If you're past that and come to accept that, this place is a GEM. Thali meals, ( they have khichadi and undhiyo and dal baati on sundays) On saturdays they serve samosa chaat. You get rotis or puris or both if you ask nicely in the thali. limited number of chaat items like bhel puri, sev puri, usal etc. Different lassis like rose, salty etc. Farsan items at the counter- sev, papdi, choras etc. We have eaten every single item on the menu ( 20 or so over a period of 10 visits). we loved each of them, some more than others. all have been fresh, hot or cold depending, rightly spiced ( mild). If this is what you want on a day of taking a break from the usual creamy, buttery hot Indian food, then come here. If you set your expectations right then you will not be disappointed. very clean too.

  • Scott E.

I decided to make this my favorite Indian vegetarian restaurant. Not too spicy, just perfect for everyone. They pretty much serve what they prepare for the day. Always a win win

    (4)
  • Sunil R.

Small family run establishment. They have a limited vegetarian menu with items that are native to the Indian state of Gujarat which you won't get in the regular Indian restaurants. I tried some of their snacks. The aloo vada, kachori and dhokla. It was good and inexpensive. So if you are looking for something very different and don't mind the very spartan setting, it is worth a try.

    (3)
  • V D.

I really like this place...good value for money....food quality is good.....I like there pakoras, thali and other appetizers.....Scope of improvement--may be more variety of sabzis, curries

    (4)
  • Raji P.

Authentic and tasty Gujarati food. Thali, chai and masala mint chaas are awwwwwsumm. Modest and no frills kind of ambience, which initially made me apprehensive of how their food might be..but since reviews were good, wanted to give it a try and now completely happy that I did go to krishnas...

    (4)
  • Abhi P.

They have a very limited but decent menu which can satisfy craving for Gujarati food. Special mention to Dal and Rose lassi. The place itself is nothing to write about, it's small and noisy at peak times.

  • Michelle A.

I have always known this place was here just didnt really have the guts to try. I am an adventurous eater and like my meat, but realized it was probably good to take a break from being a carnivore for one day. I walked in and was stared at by the other customers because I wasnt Indian, but the younger girl working the counter was so nice and helpful! She made it seem not as bad that these random people were going in not knowing anything about the cuisine haha. I ordered the Sunday Special and daily speacial. I mean this is coming from a newby to Veggie Gujarati food, so take it as you please. Overall the food was full of flavor and not greasy. I didnt realize how much starch it was instead of veggies so I was extremely full and had lots of left overs. I did take out though because the seating and such was a bit sketch, but I would go again if I am in the mood and wanted a filling healthy meal!

You have to study beforehand the names of the menu too foreign to me.

I have been to Krishna many times, and I have loved it each and every time I have gone there. It's a small, hard-to-find restaurant and can very easily go unnoticed. I have been guilty of not knowing this place for 2 years despite living only half a mile away from it. Food at krishna reminds me of home-made gujarati food. If you are looking for Punjabi food or South Indian food, then this is not the place for you. Their chaats are decent and their thalis are just amazing. Unlike other Indian-Pakistani restaurants, food at Krishna is not very spicy. Quick tips: 1) Try their dinner thali on Sunday, it has special items :-) 2) When ordering a thali, you can opt to order both puri and roti. Note that this is not on the menu and I found this out after visiting there many many times. I wish I had found that sooner :-( 3) Since it's a small place, groups of more than 4 will not be able to sit on the same table.

    Great Lunch!

  • Prashant R.

I usually get their thali. The thali is just right - good basic gujarati food, light fluffy chapati, non-greasy curries - the right combinations. I've never liked the carrot pickle that they serve in the thali. The dal and kadhi is generally good. The service is fast, they have take out - the restaurant itself is very basic. We do take-outs from here fairly regularly, very consistent stuff.

  • Angie R.

I have only been to Krishna's Restaurant a hand full of times but it has been around for as long as I can remember. Good Gujarati food is hard to find and this restaurant provides just that. I always order their thali and dokla, It's always fresh and authentic. I love the simpleness of their menu and food. I am sure that is the secret to their success, The service if friendly and the food is cheap. I can't wait to revisit Krishna's.

  • Charles Montgomery B.

I was excited about trying this place, but sadly It got there too late for lunch, and too early for dinner. They weren't very accommodating, so I just went to Chaat Bhavan instead.

  • Pea P.

I'm visiting family in CA and we made a trip to Krishna's over the weekend. So glad to get my Krishna fix (esp. since I live in a snow den far removed from civilization, void of anything eatable). To get to the bathroom you have to walk past the kitchen; it's a neat thing to be able to see 3 generations at work (grandma, mom, daughter, etc.).

  • Avakash P.

I would give this dump a negative rating if it were possible. The worst Indian food that I have eaten at any restaurant. With its limited menu, you would expect that the food would be well cooked. Wrong! I thought they might have had a bad day. A month later, I went there again. Again, the food was awful. They forgot to put salt in one dish. Nothing but bland mashed peas in the kachori(?). I will never again step into this dreadful hole in a strip mall.

    (1)
  • Nandhini S.

This was our first visit here, and the simplicity of the food blew us away. Good, home made food at very reasonable prices! The menu is very limited - there is just the thali option for someone wanting a full meal, but given the quality - dining here is worth it!

    (5)
  • Vamshi B.

This place has a Veg thali, some chats and very limited options. Food is average and taste is not that great. The masala chaas (butter milk) seriously lacked flavor. However, we liked the Mint salt lassi. I wouldn't recommend this place.

    (2)
  • Sam K.

Not much for an interior, but this is the BEST Gujarati/Indian food in the bay area. Go on Sunday's for the Sunday meal and take the Kadhi with your plate. We regularly drive 45 minutes from Belmont--its that good!

    (5)
  • Sarita J.

I eat here a lot - the food here is delicious. This is the only Indian restaurant where you get home made food. Delightful change from what you get in most Indian restaurants!

    (5)
  • Krishna M.

Very cute place...love the name, love the food, and it's 100% vegetarian. What can be better than that? One time I was on a diet and could not eat anything spicy, so the owner actually cooked separate potato and peas for me without any spice..they are very generous.

    (5)
  • Ajay E.

Limited Menu but food is tasty and healthy.

    (3)
  • Mahadevan V.

Simple, yet tasty food and healthy food. Not so oily/buttery and your tummy will definitely be alright the next day. Don't expect an exhaustive menu, but you can be sure that whatever they have is good and fresh. I can't speak for the snacks, as we haven't tried it, but the Thali and appetizers are real yummy. However, the Kadhi and Dhokla weren't great, so if you're ordering the Thali, skip the Kadhi. Their Kachori is deadly and Rotis are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.

  • Brenda H.

i came here last night for dinner after a long day of shopping and errands. I came in about 3 minutes before "dinner" and they were gracious to allow me to partake in the sunday dinner special. It came out and wow. i was already impressed. it came out in a silver dish with smaller compartments with yummy vegetarian indian dishes. i recognized the dal. they also had a dish with potato and yummy sauce. their cornbread naan was SUPERB. yum yum yum. they also serve a large helping of basmati spiced rice. all of this for $7.00!! What a steal!! i was especially impressed with the little sweet baked good. i am not sure what it was, but i bought a container of it to-go. super yum. would i come here again? hell yeah!!

I was super excited when I found out there was a Gujarati thali place. Imagining all sorts of delights like thepla, dhokla, chapatis, oondiyo, and all kinds of delicious shaak, I had pretty high expectations when I walked in. The food is super affordable and good, but it's really not all that if you have Gujarati aunties that will feed you. I liked the chapatis, but the shaak was just alright and the daal seemed like it was thickened with too much flour or something. I ordered the thali, but maybe next time I'll try ordering some of the more snacky things off the menu. I LOVE the concept, and I'll definitely go back to give it another try.

  • Tabitha C.

My husband and i have been going here for years! It is one of our favorite spots! I love their dal! Oh how I wish I knew how to make dal like they do! It is so good and yummy! I also love their Bhel Phuri! Sometimes it is very spicy and sometimes it is so so but it is always tasty and flavorful! We usually order their parata and veggie special. Sometimes the veggies are a garbanzo bean mix, which I also really like and sometimes they are something else which is my less than fav. Regardless, this place is very affordable, super friendly, short on ambiance and seating but amazing on flavor! Definitely a family favorite spot for us!

Not at all good food. I am gujarati. But, my experience was bad. No quality. No professionalism. I dont recommend to go over there.

  • Mike B.

I absolutely loved the food at this place. If you want a huge menu of fancy Indian dishes with sky high prices this is not the place for you. But if you want food that tastes just like home cooked from back in India then Krishna is the one and only place in Fremont for that. Lunch and Dinner Thali with huge portions, delicious home cooked food that you can eat day in and day out forever, that is what this place is for.

Would have been five stars, but twas a bit on the saltier side. We just finished hiking to mission peaks and were ready for a "hearty" meal. Walked through the kitchen to go to their restroom and saw gujrati aunties playing chef role. I was assured of a good home like meal. Highly Recommended : Dal Dhokli, Sev Usal, Salt lassi and the Thali We opted out of chhole on the thali and got more of the vegetable. Should have also opted out on the rice and gotten more vegetable. Got roti instead of puri. Not so great : Aloo Paratha, Khaman. Also the place is quite small, so not ideal for large group.

If you want a place that serves home cooked, semi-healthier Gujarati food then this hole in the wall is the place to go. The menu is prefixed so it's just like going home to your mum's for dinner... Their Thalis come with the best Chapati (aka Roti) I've ever had. Hot when you get them, super thin, and moist, they're made with whole wheat flour so they're pretty healthy. I also like their Yogurt soup (they have it occasionally) . The vegetable/lentils curries are sweet and not super spicy . Rice and a small side of dessert also come with the Thali so one order easily takes me two meals to finish. If you just want a snack I recommend the Khaman (this is difficult to describe, but its yellow, spongy, and full of flavor) and their samosas (perfectly crisp packets filled with a creamy potato filling; not that chunky stuff you get at other places). A few of my friends that never had Khaman before LOVED it. They're 100% vegetarian, but I'd definitely take my meat-eating friends here. Over the past few months, this has become my go-to place when I want some comfort Indian food sans the heartburn and pimples.

Just had a fabulous dinner here tonight! This place is 100% vegetarian!!!! w00t! It appears on the surface as the epitome of a "hole in the whole" type establishment. It is right in between BoA and the corner Liquor Store. At first glance, it may not be very relishing as it looks rather weird and sparse with a horrid yellow interior. Quite a turn off. The place apparently has been around for over a decade. INSIDE however it is pretty cool! It's really clean and orderly, kinda not quite you're expecting once you go inside. I'd have to say it's one of the cleanest joints I've seen. It has a pleasant charm once you're inside. The lady there hella helped me and my girl ordering as we aren't Indian yet. The selection is quite limited. It is a daily lunch special, a daily dinner special and a Sunday dinner special. Being Sunday and all, we opt'ed for a Sunday special and a daily dinner special. It was Gujrati through and through! I only just confirmed this on wiki right now, Krishna serves mainly the type of cuisine from Northern India. The bread accompaniment is not naan, but chapati bread or rotala (spelling??). I'm just a fierce lover and fan of Indian food in general, I may be pretty off on this. [Someone care to message me so I can make sure this is right??] I only remotely made the Gujrati connection from going the Sikh gurdwaras and loving the chipati bread. But yea, highly recommend for a simple and beautiful meal. I love the big steel plates it comes on. Definitely happier to see that than disposable whatevers. I mean, if this is a vegetarian joint, go full eco-friendly right? So yea, quite wallet friendly as well. I think lunch is 5 or 6 bucks and dinner was 7! Score!! [credit card min is 10 bux] Will be back for sure.

I havent eaten in this restaurant as of yet, but a coworker brought me some of their in-house made spicy peanuts, and I can definitely say that this is one of the indian places that I plan on visiting soon for lunch, as they are close to work. The coworker says it great, and he eats there regularly.

After exploring Fremont left & right for Indian restaurants, we almost thought there wasn't another restaurant to try. However, being an avid Yelp-er, I had to search another restaurant and here we found ourselves at Krishna Restaurant on Fremont Blvd. It's in a pretty hidden location, right next to Bank of America and a liquor store. The menu is...well there really isn't one...you have your choice of lunch special, dinner special and if you end up here on a Sunday, Sunday dinner special. There's also a drink and appetizer selection, but it's a pretty simple place to eat. I wasn't sure what to eat, so whatever my honey chose, I just followed suit. It ended up being bomb-diggity and the best thing: all vegetarian. I love Indian vegetarian food...so flavorable and this is when I eat my veggies the most. It was very good and I totally recommend anyone who is vegetarian or non-vegetarian to try Krishna. I'd like to come back whether it be for lunch or dinner. The service is great - the lady was very kind at the counter and the food was served quickly. Simply pleased as I put it. Come and try Krishna - it's a must-try Indian vegetarian restaurant in Fremont. And if you've read my reviews prior to this one, I like my Indian food :) Cheers!

One of the best Gujrati food in Fremont. Very homely. The thalis are tasty and filling. Try the dal dhokli here. The seating and overall choice is limited.

Since the wife is a vegetarian, it's good every now and then to take her to place that specializes in vegetarian meals, thus we ended up at Krishna Restaurant. Located right next to the Bank of American in the Cloverleaf Bowling Parking Lot, Krishna Restaurant is basically a hole in the wall Indian Food Restaurant. It's not much to look at and reminds me of my grammar school cafeteria back in the early 80's. If you're looking for a menu, well, you're SOL. Basically you have Lunch and Dinner. Cost is about $5 for Lunch and $7 for dinner. As several yelpers have mentioned, it's basically going out to eat at someone house. My wife and I put in our order for dinner. We found out seat and hung out for a bit and watched a Bollywood Film on their TV. When dinner came out, it was definitely authentic. Food is served on an aluminum platter that has about 7 different sections. Each section has their own little meal to eat. You basically get a scoop of food in each section. Meals are also served with their soup of the day. Overall, I thought it was just ok. The food had good taste to it and it had a home made taste to it, but it was average homemade, not WOW homemade. The spices used here were decent, but didn't have the impact of Indian Food that I was expecting. And honestly I wasn't really impressed with the portion size here because it was basically 1 or 2 scoops of everything. We did leave full, but it wasn't overwhelmingly food or had a need for a doggy bag. In the end we paid about $20 including Tip and Drinks. As to rating, I wasn't impressed and left feeling "eh". It's ok and for just ok Krishna Restaurant gets a 3 star rating and a look elsewhere recommendation.

Wow--for the price of a $6 dinner, you get soooo much food--enough to share for 2 petite meals, or just enough to go back later for seconds! I've been known to spend 2 or 3 days finishing off my meals from Krishna Restaurant. But I'm getting a little ahead of myself. Krishna is a small, very modest place--basically a to-go spot, with several tables for those who want to eat right away. No atmosphere to speak of, though--just a TV playing one of the Indian cable channels. The draw is that each day, a preset vegetarian menu is prepared, and for one low price, you get a take-home thal. You select your choices between two options each of bread, rice, and soup. You get those, plus the two daily dishes, picled vegetables, and a sweet. This is a convenient, cheap, and delicious meal! Also for sale are individual snack items, such as samosas or chaat, plus a few dry chaat items & desserts you can take home. The drawback of the place is that it's closed on Mondays (as are many restaurants), and on the days it is open, is closed by 8pm--so, no good for last-minute planning for us late eaters! Plan ahead, though, and you've got yourself a delicious, savory meal ready quickly & at a good price.

This place serves 100% vegetarian gujarati cuisine. It's a place to go to when you long for simple homecooked vegetarian food. The food is not at all greasy and easy on the stomach. You could eat here for weeks without getting the tummy ache which you get when you eat greasy Indian food at other places. The owners of this place are very friendly and seem to care about their guests having a good meal. They also sell Chapatis and various snack items.

You can easily miss Krishna restaurant - it's not a fancy place with neons outside. There are very few tables and not much of an ambience but usually people take out so its not that crowded. The thing I like about this restaurant is its simple and home made food from a little hole in the wall gujju vegetarian restaurant. Food is served really fast and always feels home made. I usually order the meals. Not too oily - the pooris even though deep fried look and taste like grandma's work of art :)... Sabzi on the side, some dal and rice, sometimes dhokla sometimes a fried pakora, pickle and sweet dessert (son papdi or a milk based one)... recently I feel the serving size has been diminished but a lassi on the side and you will feel full. The prices can't be beat for the quality and simplicity. They also have snacks - sev mixture, khakhra and sweets to buy. I once ordered jheera rice with veggies for a music recital evening for 25 people and everyone just loved it. All in all a great place when you crave for a simple healthy meal to soothe your taste buds and stomach.

100% Vegetarian - Indian (Gujrati) food. Good portions but lacks variety of vegetables. I think they need to focus on more nutritious items in their lunch+dinner thalis. rice+chapatis = carbs. lentils=protein. chutney+raita=miscellaneous... How about minerals+vitamins+antiox+etc.. these we need from an assortment of vegetables - not just on some of the days but during all of the days that your store is open and serving. Heavy on carbs is not complete nutrition.

My wife and I love this place. We do a take out from here or eat-in every month. The menu varies but is always very tasty. Once in a while, it's more spicy than we'd like, but still very good. For a really simple home-cooked meal, this is highly recommended.

I and my family have frequently visited this mom/pop restaurant. Pros: * Tasty, non-spicy, non-greasy, good vegetarian Gujarati food * Relatively inexpensive. * Single stop for lunch or dinner, sweets, chaat snacks (farshan) * Both lunch and dinner are very close to home cooking. * Polite, nice and friendly service Cons: * They close around 8PM. * Relatively small size for seating. Overall, it is a great place for good Indian/Gujarati vegetarian food. Will definitely recommend it.

Great authentic Indian food, great price (lunch is now $5.50, not $4.50 as mentioned in a previous review). The place was quiet and pretty empty around lunch time. The portions aren't as big as some places, but it's great for the money. The food was all so good! I've only been once so far but will definitely visit again.

nice, family-owned place - freshly made treats (samosas yummmm!) the lunch is great - $4.50 - how can you beat that? small, not much to look at on the inside (seats remind me of an old Wendy's) - but, the food is great.

I love the Krishna for a quick cheap tasty strictly vegetarian Indian meal. I always get take-out and am always happy with the basic meal they have for the day. Basically they have certain dished that are included with the dinner package each day which is a different concept in that you dont actually order particular dishes. I have never been disappointed with dishes included in their daily stock dinners. Tons of food for around $6 dollars for a dinner! They also offer a nice array of indian treats. The downside is they close at 8pm.

This place used to be better but more recently, the chapaatis have gotten thinner and thinner and the kadi has gotten more and more watery so pretty soon, I expect to get a dish of water instead of kadi and just the picture of a chapaati instead of the real thing.

Especially buy the rotis from here...small family run joint. Love their personalized service. The food is good and feels like home cooking, quite unlike the other greasy, oily indian stuff one gets in so called Indian restaurants around the area. This place is complete value for money.

Cheap and fresh food. The food has never ever been stale. They make excellent pooris... It is so fluffy and nice. However, the taste of the curry and daal is moderate. Besides, there is potato in every dish that you order so people who hate potatoes cant eat this food. I wish they could make some nice tasty yummy veggies. Gujrati food is generally very tasty and I love it compared to this place.
