Been there multiple times taking the same group to dinner. LOTS of choices, and many are a safe bet time and time again. Don't get the boats, don't seem like a good value. Arrive at the right time, and drinks are inexpensive and you can do well even on the rolls. $3 beers and half off Saki = happy dealers. Never had a problem getting seating for the groups I've taken there, one time as many as 16 people, other times usually 8. Some of the booths they have there would be a nice place to take your significant other, and families can enjoy secluded private dining areas.

My family made reservations here for 40 people, and the workers at Kaenyama did a great job accommodating all of us. We were all there by the time it was 12:30, and food came out promptly after. We had preordered food a few days before in order to prevent any confusion and mass ordering when we were there, and good thing we did because everything worked out! In terms of food, the sushi is not of the best quality but it is still pretty good. Many options to choose from, and with 50% off on Mondays and Saturday lunch, Kaenyama offers sushi at a great deal. Solid sushi place!

I went for tepoanyaki so I didn't try the sushis and sashimi. The stars are for the awesome performance by the teppanyaki chef and the delicious food. However, the portions are extremely small! The five us are all Asians that wears like medium size shirt (none of us has a super big stomach). All five of us felt it satisfied after we r done. I ordered the steak and chicken combo (28 or 25 dollars I think?). With that price I expected a little more food to satisfied my stomach. After eating I was neither gingery nor full, which is a very annoying feeling
