Great customer service. They were fast and accommodating to my first time! What a fun place

Very fresh, tasty, and fast. Good for a quick, relatively healthy lunch or dinner. Chicken, steak, or sliders with white or brown rice and a lightly dressed coleslaw. Portions are enough. Location was very clean, service was adequate. I recommend it.

I love Surf Brothers but I usually visit the locations in UTC or Encinitas. I randomly found myself in the Escondido area for lunch though and decided to give this spot a try. It was just as good as the others! I always order the Combo Platter with beef and chicken and all rice, no salad. Both meats are delicious, especially dipped in the extra teriyaki sauce. I like to drizzle some of the teriyaki over the rice too. I'm a light eater and one order is enough for two meals for me, although I can definitely see other people finishing the entire portion. For me being able to get two meals out of it, the $7ish price tag is great!

Plain and simple menu very delicious fast service fresh food what else can you ask for ? And forgot to mention supper clean!!!! Would give it 10 stars if I could Must try !

  • Gus L.

Good Healthy Food, Fast. Not much more you can ask for. Chicken, Steak... both? I will go out on a limb and say it is a bit pricey for the food but the quality is there for sure. This location is easy to get in and out of, even when crowded, they get you going fast.

The food gets 5 STARS!!! Always delicious! The reason for 3 stars is the styrofoam. Whether you eat there or take out they serve in styrofoam. I'd eat there 3-4 times a week if they'd change to something more responsible. I feel bad eating meat as it is but then the guilt of using styrofoam makes it to much so I only go there once a month or so. PLEASE STOP USING STYROFOAM!!! PS Most "surfers" care about the environment so it seems hypocritical....

It is so good, we had this fast food at my wedding reception. The Surf Bro Teriyaki is nector from the Gods. I am not a fan of teriyaki sauce and this place is nothing like what I have tasted before. The sauce is like a new category of teriyaki sauce it is so good. This place is great for lunch. The menu is simple, just make sure you get the sauce.

I won a free meal over Christmas I saved it then they told me it was expired totally lame ass! Never going back to place.

  • Deborah D.

Tried the beef combo for lunch. The portions were ok, but the biggest diappointment was how DRY the meat was. For a $10 meal, I expected a little more quality. Not much on their menu, so I won't be returning here

    (2)
  • Omid S.

Not bad , not good eighter, Their teriyaki chicken was ok , but the beef was dried and old , didn't care for it much, I probably don't go there any more .

    (3)
  • Heather J.

yum! this place is great! my coworkers and I always call in our orders here and they always turn out delicious and on time! Picking them up is nice and easy and the staff is always very courteous.

  • Rose A.

Can't get enough of Surf Brother's Teriyaki! They're sauce is the best! Chicken is cooked perfectly. And their rice is amazing. Their menu is simple and for a very good reason. Keep it up!

    (5)
  • Yuki J.

Good food, like the clean shop. But, hey, got to be competitive. Provide better service, more volume, some value to the customers in a unique way. I think they have a good potential

    (3)
  • Duncan A.

This place used to be way more happening. Some genius decided to change there food from skewered hunks of meat to shreded jerky. Real dry and stringy. They used to be 4 stars for me but that move lost them a couple stars. They do have brown rice available and the slaw is decent, but those shreds of what was once meat... sorry.

  • Beau M.

I've been eating here for years and it is by far my fav Teriyaki spot!

    (5)
  • Wanna S.

They started to cut their steak and chicken now and it is soooo much better. I stop by before work to pick up dinner here, and the staff is very nice and very quick.

  • Lauren V.

What a great place to eat! Super yummy! They have this light bites platter with brown rice, just enough food, healthy, great price. My husband had the sliders and loved them. The teriyaki sauce was delicious, very light, not heavy and full of sugar like other places I've tried. Would highly recommend this place! It's affordable, comfortable atmosphere with delicious healthy food, you can't go wrong and we will be back!

  • Juan P.

Simple, delicious and the staff is really friendly. What more can you ask for?

    (5)
  • Giovanni C.

Decent tasting food. Ordered the Steak and a large Iced tea. $10 bucks which isn't bad, till I got my plate and saw 2 tiny skewers and a plate overflowing with Slaw. Needless to say I'm never going back. If you're going to serve such small portions, don't insult my intelligence with that price.

    (2)
  • Johnny N.

Good fast food... not really made "fresh" I see they make the chicken / beef and put it in pots, then when you come in, they take them out of the steamer and cut it up and serve it. I like more fresh made food... but it's good... never left disappointed.

This place quickly won a place on my list of great eats in Escondido. It is conveniently located next to the I15, has tons of parking, friendly staff and always serves up fresh hot food in minutes. Simple menu, healthy even, but most importantly absolutely delicious. Both of the kabobs are great, but I prefer the chicken. The meals are a pretty good deal and will definitely fill you up. I'm a big fan of their Teriyaki sauce as it isn't the common syrupy sweet crud you get an many place. Most importantly, this place has Sriracha sauce on every table and gives you packets of it for togo orders. Can't fail with that.

    (5)
  • Steve G.

Go here at least a couple of times per month. Always plenty of room, quick service, consistent food. I like the "Don Burri" teriyaki chicken but the wife likes the steak skewers. Simple menu but makes deciding easier.... a no-pressure kind of place you can just come as you are. Price not bad.

    (5)
  • anna a.

Plain and simple: Chicken, beef, cole-slaw like salad, and rice. I think they added some chicken sliders or something to their menu as well. You don't feel guilty after eating it.

    (4)
  • Walter M.

These restaurants are awesome!! Try 'em all! Teriyaki sauce is the bomb!!

    (5)
  • Rebekah M.

I visits San Diego several times a year and always eat at Surf Brothers. The chicken light bite is just the right amount. The chicken and brown rice are cooked perfectly and the coleslaw and teriyaki sauce are both light yet flavorful.

    (5)
  • Rubio S.

Very very tasty!! Fast. I'd eat it again. Chicken to go had sauce in cup, it was just the right amount.

    (4)
  • Rudy D.

While its not a glutton fest like L&L (and a different concept), you get a HEALTHY portion of chicken in the chicken teriyaki. Also they serve the sauce in a seperate container for to go which is good for the health concious and anti-mess crew. Their brown rice was a good mix with the chicken and their cole slaw salad thing was also tasty. For under 10 bucks you do get quite a bit of food, and you finish not feeling over-stuffed, but satisfied.

  • Nancy G.

Bad customer service! :/small place and I didn't even get greeted when I walked in the door! Food quality is good but there's literally only 3 plates to choose from: Teriyaki chicken, steak, or both. I ordered the combo which Comes with chicken/steak rice and a side of coleslaw. With a drink it was $10 total! I didn't see that they also had sliders which I wish I would have tried instead. ***Pricey and not worth it! I like having more choices

    (1)
  • Clayton B.

Prices are amazing. They give you a ton of meat for what you pay for. I got the combo, the chicken and beef, and I was glad I did. Both were great but I definitely enjoyed eating the two rather than a lot of one. The sauce was delicious but I do recommend getting another packet. One alone just isn't enough. It's only 25 cents so it's totally worth it.

  • Stephanie S.

This is my second time picking up food for the office and they got every single order right and everything tasted amazing. I decided to try out the steak sliders and they were sooo good! The Hawaiian roll was so moist and it had the perfect amount of meat inside. Order was done pretty fast and everyone was pleased with their meal. Great food! Will be coming back soon!

    (5)
  • David H.

Food here is pretty good. Just wished they would marinate it and then grill it. The steak is lean and not fatty like Ohana's Hawaiian BBQ. the chicken is all white breast meat. Nicely cooked. The sliders looked good. Maybe try that next time. The coleslaw is okay. Not all covered in mayo, but lacks a lot of flavor.

    (3)
  • Jimmy R.

I was a customer years ago and for some reason quit going. I tried it today and I wasn't impressed. It's a good option to have but my meal wasn't very good. The steak was dry and a strange consistency.

    (2)
  • G Y.

Food is good but I'm still hungry, I just had the combo to go.... Think I'll grab a burrito now from somewhere else. I don't think I'll be back here, for what I paid I could have had a better meal. Thought I would give them a try...

This was my first time eating at a Surf Brothers joint. I had the sliders with brown rice. It was good.

  • Rayna J.

Came by for a quick bite to eat, was starving on my way home from barre. Wanted to try something different this was right off the freeway. Walked in and there was literally 4 items on the menu. Chicken, steak, sliders and cabbage salad. I walked up and the guy at the register was very friendly. Asked if I had ever been there and I said no. He offered a sample of chicken and steak. Tasted pretty good so I went with the combo. He asked white or brown rice...boom sold. BROWN please!! Took my order to go and scrammed. Came home and mmm it was delish...yummy Teriyaki sauce and my fav siracha!!! Dumped it all over and went to town!

    (4)
  • Kim L.

first time trying it and I was not impressed. I ordered the beef and chicken combo with all brown rice. though the quality of meat was good it really lacked in flavor. I did like that they give you the choice of brown rice. Also the portion size was very good. My husband ordered the steak teriyaki and said he would not be ordering again. His coleslaw was bland and steak was dry. Over all it wasn't terrible but it wasn't good enough for us to want to have again either.

  • Karrie R.

I absolutely love this place. The service is quick and the chicken and rice are so good. I'm addicted.

    (5)
  • Donna N.

Food is GREAT! and What a TREAT - I DO have to agree however, that the Styrofoam is a real turnoff. Green responsible packaging really would put them up a knotch or 4. Gonna try their catering tomorrow for a little party. YUM!

    (5)
  • Julie E.

Surf Brothers has AMAZING food! The food melts in your mouth with EVERY bite! It really is THAT good! The atmosphere is also nice with a tropical beach theme but the food will make you feel like you are literally at the beach! Cant wait to have our wedding catered by Surf Bros! Our guests are going to LOVE the food! Highly recommend this place to all!

    (5)
  • Tim G.

The food here is awesome. The problem is over the years the portions keep getting smaller. My meal today would have been one skewer in the old days. You pay a fair bit here and get a healthy lunch. Problem is that lunch is too small now. I used to get two sauces but now only need one because there so little food here. I have only had this issue at this location. I frequent the Carlsbad store. Then as I'm leaving to add insult to injury there was no ice in the ice machine. In addition to that I ordered extra chicken skewers and they were hassling me about getting extra sauce. This is not the customer service that made me fall love with this place in the first place.

    (2)
  • Lisa L.

Teriyaki chicken is delicious! I love the combo and the pricing is fair, but then again I'm cheap. lol. The steak is very tender and juicy and cooked perfectly. The brown rice has amazing crisp texture and the perfect side! Also has cute outdoor tables and the mural inside is gorgeous!

    (4)
  • Bob J.

Had a combo plate, both chicken and steak were cooked just right. The rice and salad were very nice. I thought the food has less salt and sauce on it than other similar places, which was good. Simple menu + good food + fair price = happy customer. Had a 2:1 Entertainment book coupon which made it a great deal !

    (4)
  • Joe B.

The chicken and rice is real good. My food was done in less than 4 min. Friendly staff the place has a luau decor to it. Kinda small tables sit two

  • Christine P.

We just had lunch catered for our entire office and warehouse. It was terrific! The food came packaged beautifully and it was hot and very fresh - way to go Surf Brothers!

    (5)
  • Brian K.

nice place to eat healthy the food is simple but good nonetheless nice balance of protein, carbs, and salad you can switch the portions sizes of rice and salad if you're watching carbs service if fast, speedy, they run an efficient operation my only complaint is that the chicken/beef portions seemed larger when they were served on skewers. are they starting to skimp? big no-no!!!

    (5)
  • Melissa R.

Convenient location right off the freeway, quick and DELICIOUS! Love the sliders and the fact that they give you the option of white or brown rice with your meal. Love this place, come every time I'm in the area

Surf Brothers, as it turns out, has quite an extensive history. Contrary to popular belief, it's evolution to what it is today has been a long time coming. Historians have argued for centuries on the true origin of their renowned sauce recipe; I'm still unsure of what I actually believe, but I've heard stories from a few reliable sources. Take this one, for example: It is said that Inscribed in Hebrew, on the underside of King Solomon's grave, there was a rough recipe variation of today's loved sauce, and through meticulous work, and a debate between over a dozen native translators, it was passed down, and eventually manifested itself with a little help from owners Reza and his father. It has also been thought to date back to the time of ancient Egyptian Civilizations, originally portrayed in hieroglyphs depicting a holy/divine gathering between felines and extra terrestrials. They were draped from head to paw in the finest tapestries, bejeweled and well groomed, feasting upon a freshly roasted pheasant with an unknown (at the time) thicker liquid substance in conjunction with these beings from another world. This mysterious substance, which was eventually deemed Surf Brothers teriyaki sauce by experts in both ancient Egyptian history, and culinary studies, was of course a slightly varied recipe, but unmistakably one in the same. Both seem highly plausible, but the one that is loosely accepted as the "correct" history would be before the start of the A.D. Era, around the 14th/15th century B.C. to be precise. There was a prophet named Moses who was traveling with a group of people, and waiting for a message from God. At 80 years old he traversed the dangerous edge of a mountain in hopes that his efforts would be fruitful, and true enlightenment would be bequeathed upon him from the omnipotent God he had complete faith in. After 40 days and 40 nights of repeated trips upon this mountain, a bright light, said to be the divine presence of the Lord, shined down, and the true recipe for Surf Brothers' was bestowed upon Moses, shortly after receiving instructions for 10 commandments that would be the one true inscribed law of the world, in order to live a selfless life. Whether or not any of these stories ring true, take my word for it-- Obama himself hasn't eaten this good in the terms he has been in office. I appreciate the food and service (and rich history) of Surf Brothers and recommend it to all who have taken the time to read this, thank you! tl;dr--God is good and so is Surf Bros!

Just picked up some food here on my dinner break! Very nice lady at the front counter. Food was ready in less than a minute! The food is really good and healthy. I like that they don't put mayo in the coleslaw too! It tastes like it's more of a oil/vinger base. I will be coming here on my dinner breaks more often. :)

This place is pretty simple. Pork sliders, chicken bbq or steak bbq, white or brown rice and coleslaw. The Teriyaki is good and I like mixing it with sriracha. Another place I like to do take out. Inventory is small ergo the fast service. Environment has opportunities. The hut design is loaded with dust and the wall beside the soda station needs a bit of cleaning. I cannot help look at these things. There is a chef there and I know you can smile sir. You seem very intimidating that I always hesitate to ask for a spoon. Outside you may be grumpy cat but I know deep inside you are a fuzzy bear.

Better option than most fast food places- Pros: 1. The menu claims that it's on the lighter side (in terms of calories) and I can tell. The coleslaw was not dressed with mayo and the meat didn't have too much fat on it. 2. They offered brown rice with combo platters vs. just white. 3. Affordable pricing. 4. Offers 10% military and student discount (which I don't usually ask for unless it saves me more than $5) 5. Easy to find, parking no prob. Cons: 1. The meat with combo platters don't come on the skewers anymore. They come just in pieces on top of your rice. 2. The beef was not that tasty. I definitely prefer L&L. The chicken was not bad but still prefer L&L. 3. The sauce was a let-down. It was pre packaged and didn't taste that special nothing I couldn't find down a grocery isle. 4. Small selection and meat was not freshly prepared. (This I suspect is why the meat is no longer on skewers) 5. Service not fantastic. Probably would not go back again unfortunately.

It had been ages since we'd had Surf Brothers and I wanted something different so time to hit up the teriyaki again. I also had a entertainment book coupon for BOGO entress. YEA! One thing that is nice is that it's easy in and out and fast, but isn't your usual "fast food". The staff have always been cheerful and friendly when I've been there and this time was no different. The food is tasty. The husband always gets the combo which comes with chicken and beef with rice and coleslaw. I always get the chicken sliders. They come on Hawaiian rolls, so that's a no brainer! They now have the sliders in either beef or chicken, but I like the chicken. You can get either brown or while rice and as much as I want to be healthy and go with the brown, I just don't like it, so white it is! Overall, it's affordable, fast and I like it. I have one more coupon, so I'm totally going back soon.

Great food and great service! I'm glad I live close to a Surf Brothers! I don't feel guilty or regretful afterwards. Look forward to my next visit!

  • Spencer R.

The choices are simple. The food is like taking a bite of the Hawaiian island. Steak, chicken or both. What's not to love? The scenery also helps to put your mind in Hawaii and feel you are really there. I come back all the time!

Really great food and fast service. Workers were really nice and the food tastes awesome defiantly a must try if your in the area!

  • Janae A.

The food is okay...the chicken is not bad but the steaks pretty dry... We had a coupon so it wasn't bad, but not the best teriyaki iv ever had...

  • Katrina M.

Chicken teriyaki is really good. I haven't had anything else on menu, but I see others enjoying sliders and ordering lots of beef. My experience has been very consistent. Flavor is good, meat prepared well. Brown rice will cost ya .15 cents more(never love when I get charged more for healthier options) staff is very friendly and pretty helpful. Parking lot can be a cluster. Don't park in stalls in front of store. Opt for a short walk.

  • Cheryl N.

My 1 1/2 year old daughter is the pickiest eater I know, so anything that she likes is automatically awesome in my book! Needless to say, she loved it! She kept opening her mouth for more, and she rarely does that! Anyway, I was craving for Hawaiian food over the weekend, and when we got here, I was a little disappointed that they simply had three items on the menu. I ordered the combo, and my husband ordered the sliders. I was surprised that everything turned out really tasty. I think they got their family secret sauce down solid. My only wish is that they offer some more selection, like maybe a macaroni salad or pulled pork, but I'll still be coming back again for sure!

Tasty!!! The chicken was grilled to perfection! Cabbage was covered with a light but very delicious dressing! Must try!

The home made style hawaiin food here is great rice and chicken or steak about $8 a meal my family and I wIll keep going back.

    (5)
  • Matuzaila A.

I like how the teriyaki sauce is on the side in a small container and the meat is not drowning with it. The meat is perfectly cooked and tasty! I'd definitely come back here. Clean place even the restroom.

  • Amber H.

This place is amazing. I love their food and it's always a good atmosphere. It's wonderful tasty and filling, but not to the point where you need a nap afterward. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

  • George O.

My teriyaki chicken was so overcooked and dried out as to be almost inedible... the worst! Unfortunately I got it for take-out and didn't realize how bad it was till I got home, so I couldn't complain. I was hungry so I choked it down.

    (1)
  • cassy c.

Don't go. Ran out of rice. What's up with that? Looks like they need to be better prepared.

  • Clara R.

This place is my favorite!!! I'm addicted. BEST teriyaki I have ever tasted.

    (5)
  • Mitch K.

The teriyaki sliders are amazing and cheap!!! 4.99 for three shredded chicken sliders, and rice. It obviously comes with some tasty teriyaki sauce. They also give a student discount with id, i believe is 50 cents of the sliders. You can also add a soda for 30 cents and upgrade to brown rice for 15 cents. The sliders are always delicious and moist and full of flavor.

    (4)
  • Audrey B.

Stopped by last night to bring dinner home for the family...they were out of chicken so I opted to wait the fifteen minutes thinking I would get a fresh dinner. The sliders were dry, the chicken was fine but we ordered brown rice and only got white which tasted like it had sat all day. The last couple of times we have been there the individuals taking our order were the grumpiest people. No smile, no hello or thank you...just a blank stare almost daring us to place an order. After spending $41 on take out food at least we could get a thank you and a smile...

Last Night my Girlfriend and I had A hawaiian food craving so we decide to check out this spot which Yelp shows good ratings... This Spot is not your typical hawaiian joint... I won't call this even hawaiian at all and beside its own by two Middleeastern brothers (I think) that decide to open a restaurant gearing towards hawaiian concept and as far as I know that mostly middleeastern culture don't eat pork, correct me if i'm wrong... A real hawaiian dish consist of Pork and lots of it, However this spot only offer two meat dish and a coleslaw which are chicken and beef... Now where the hell is that macaroni salad? and kalua pork or lau lau?!?! To some this up; If you want alternative healthy food lookin like hawaiian cos of the interior restaurant, then this is the spot... Just make sure to remind the cook's, to cook your meat right or you might indup having stomach cramps like my woman did cos she thinks the chicken wasnt cook thoroughly...

Went in today and was over charged due to a computer malfunction. Called as soon as i noticed the issue and they went above and beyond to fix it. I mean wow... I've never experienced such good customer service. This was my first time ever going in myself, I'd had a friend bring it to me once or twice before. The food is very good. And I'm very impressed with how they went so out of their way to fix the problem. The owner even gave me a call because I left a compliment on their website about the gentleman who solved the problem in the first place. Will definitely be going there again.

I walked in this place by accident, was going to eat at the famous Italian sub place next door. Went in at Dinner time, as I was working late and decided to eat out tonite. The sub place ran out of Bread so I went into Surf Bros instead. I was glad they did. Not only did I get to try something new, i found another healthy place to eat in Escondido. Surf Brothers only has three items on their menu. A Chicken kabob plate, A Beef kabob plate, and a Combo plate (Chicken & Beef). Both come with a generous portion of steamed rice and a Salad type coleslaw. I tried the combo plate, It was good, It came with their own special Teriyaki sauce. Both the Chicken and the Beef are Grilled on a broiler and are Tender and Juicy. They have Soy sauce and Hot Siracha sauce on the tables. The decor inside is nice, and has a nice feel. It has a tropical surf / tiki type look with bright artist paintings.

I am addicted to this place. The quality and consistency is excellent. I am a frequent customer and enrolled in the membership which send great coupons and also you collect points for money off your purchase. The only item that no one in my family likes it the coleslaw but they let me switch it our for rice. The really do need to revamp the dressing. That said, I love the food and the customer service has always been very friendly and quick.

Surf Brothers has a very simple menu but they sure do a great job with what they serve. It's fresh, healthy, and very tasty. I've been coming here for a quite a while. It's one of my favorite 'post workout' meals as it's filling but not heavy. If you've had Surf Brothers, they just recently made a menu change. they used to serve the chicken and/or steak on skewers. It's now served cut up on top of their rice. At first I was concerned they might have ruined a good thing, but, my concern was for nothing. All the freshness and flavor is still there and it seems like the portion is a bit more generous now. One quick note on the rice. I choose the brown rice instead of the steamed because it's healthier. The first time I opted for the brown rice, I was thinking I'd get the typical gravel-like brown rice like other places. It's a 'must try'. It's the lightest, fluffiest brown rice I've ever had. In fact, the first time I ordered it, I thought they messed up and served me the steamed by accident. They charge .15 extra for brown rice, not sure why I thought brown rice was cheaper. Oh well, I'll splurge for the brown rice anyways.

  • Megan J.

I tried the chicken/beef combo here. The food doesn't look very similar to how it looks on the menu. The chicken is alright, and the steak is good. My rice was kind of sticky, and came to me in a pressed, oval shaped mass...which didn't help the stickiness. I'm sure it was sitting in a warmer for too long. I really liked the coleslaw that they serve on the side. It has a vinegar based dressing instead of a mayo based dressing, which I enjoyed. The whole meal could have been really delicious "picnic style food", with more attention to detail. I have only been once, so maybe on some days it is better than others. I kind of just felt like I was eating food that had been sitting around too long.

Pretty good... I loved how they once served all steak and chicken on skewers, they don't do this anymore! I recommend the combo plate with brown rice. I love their teriyaki sauce and that red hot sauce. Place is never too busy. Food comes out fast. Plenty of parking.

Just tried Surf Brothers today for the first time and I have to say it is absolutely delicious! I had the Chicken/Beef combo with brown rice. Everything tasted so good and I felt like I was actually eating a healthy meal. I will for sure be back for more. Highly Recommended!

I got the chicken and steak combo with brown rice, and also an order of the shredded chicken sliders, both were good. Personally I liked the combo, I was pleased that they offered brown rice and the meat wasn't too greasy, paired with the cole slaw and some nice spicy sriracha sauce, it was a good meal that felt healthy. I'd come here again.

If I could rate it 0 stars, I would. I was always taught that if you go to a restaurant and there's no one there, don't go in. Well, after reading the reviews, I should have stayed out. On a Friday @ 6PM, there was no one in the place even though the Italian place next door was packed. When I entered, the cashier/food server was sitting at a table texting. No greeting and gave me a look that said I was interrupting. She took my order and started getting the food ready. Foolish me, I still had hopes for the place. When I got home (5 mins away) with my steak and chicken combo, I found my steak to be overcooked and dry and my chicken was cold. The cole slaw had no flavor and the brown rice looked like it was mush. Thinking I might be able to save it with the single jar of sauce that she gave me, I gave it one last go. Definitely never going there again.

Love the Steak Here! I go here at least twice a week and I love that it is healthy. The staff is friendly and always take care of me, Alfonso is the man. Definitely go and take your friends!

So always passed by this place thinking it was a knock off of L&L's. The sliders sign is what lured me in, knowing they didn't have that at L&L's, I decided to give it a try. Plus the picture made them look so yummy! So 3 sliders and a scoop of rice with my student discount... 3 bucks?! oh and a drink .30 cents extra... i thought i better take it to go in case they accidentally undercharged me, because prices that low gotta be wrong! This plate fills me every time! So, the sliders consist of shredded teriyaki chicken with a light salad on top, in a hawaiian sweet roll. Then I always dowse mine with extra teriyaki sauce and siracha. Never been a huge fan of teriyaki, but this stuff is amazing. A-f*cking-MAZING. A little salad and a little of the chicken always fall out of the sliders and on to the plate...add a little rice to that, and more teriyaki sauce and BAM! ..you got your self a little stir fry as well. The rest of menu is very simple.. grilled teri chicken & grilled teri beef Comes with rice..they offer white or brown rice which is a nice, healthy alternaitve It also comes with a salad, which is very light on the dressing and bordering on bland but gives everything a nice crunch deff good place to come if you are on a diet and actually want to eat something that tastes good!

I absolutely LOVE this place. I have seen several of them around SD county but this is the one that is closest to my house so obviously this is where I come. Sadly, I didn't live in SD when they offered the skewers so I guess I don't know what I was missing but I love their combo and chicken meals. If it wasn't unheard of for a female to eat so much I would order two for myself alone. Their teriyaki sauce is afrigginmazing! And yes, I just made that up!
