Good eats! They have the huggest portions of rice here, I swear, and it is delicious savory fried rice or steamed rice. And tons of it. I'm a big eater and finishing this can be a challenge (but I do my best). Shrimp fried rice is AWESOME. I am weird and toss in sweet and sour sauce and it just sends that rice over the top. I have enjoyed the chicken and beef as well. There is a good size menu, but I rarely get past the shrimp fried rice. Lots of shrimp in it so you don't feel left out like some places do. This is not a great place to eat at, I think it's meant for pick up or take out. Easy location to get in and out of if dealing with the nasty traffic of Campbell is a pain, so use Glenn. The prices are very good, and overall I love to eat here! And in fact thinking about that fried rice is making me think I should log off and get myself over there pronto.

I actually really like this place. Been going here for takeout for many years. There's like one guy working here, so be prepared that your food (if you don't phone it in ahead of time) will take like 10-15 minutes, but it comes out fresh and too hot to eat. Big portions. LOTS of rice, but the entree part is quite good. I'd so much rather get this than Panda Express, because it's better and it's local. I get 2-3 meals out of one order here.

Tokyo Rice Bowl is the best secret in Tucson! The owner is always there and knows your order the second time you come in. The portions are huge and so delicious. And the prices are dirt cheap, too. If you were even considering the Panda Express across the street for dinner, turn your butt around and go to Tokyo Rice Bowl. You will not regret it!

Before there was Panda Express, there was Tokyo Rice Bowl. The owner has got to be one of the hardest working men in Tucson's restaurants. It's not a big deal to see one guy running a food truck alone, but take that and multiply it by taking phone orders, counter orders, bussing tables, and cooking and you have this guy. TRB is in the same price range as Panda Express, except that he charges $1.00 extra to substitute fried rice for steamed rice. He also has brown rice available. If you're looking to get out for under 7 bucks, this is your spot. It was a convenient place to stop for a quick lunch the other day. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken. TRB serves the sweet and sour sauce on the side, and with the vegetables separate from the chicken. He has a picture menu which still shows the dish served with pineapple. That was missing on this visit, and the serving of veggies was smaller than in the past, but there was a lot of chicken and an enormous amount of rice. The food is always fresh, call-in orders are fast, the owner is personable and willing to customize your order - that's why I'm recommending this locally-owned little joint.

This restaurant is an old favorite of mine and you gotta support the 1 man army here. I've only see 1 person working here and its the owner and I have even seen him even deny people wanting to buy out his business. He must love this place and you can tell from the food, service, and hospitality when you come to TRB. Lets start off with the food. It is very good and very filling. I love the fried rice here and actually haven't had anything that I thought was sub par. Service is good only issue is wait times can take awhile since this 1 man army takes orders, answers phones, waits, and cooks so its understandable. On the inside it is your average restaurant and cleanliness is average. Nothing to warrant a complaint. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a very good and very filling meal.

Since my first review, i've been here many more times, and i'd now change "pretty good" to "pretty great" the spicy chicken (you can get it w/white meat) and spicy beef are AWESOME. don't let the name mislead you, its really not very spicy. the staff is great, and are more than happy to make special requests for your order. for fast food, this is a great place to go.

This place is seriously good. My fiance and I order from this place almost every week. We always get the usual: orange chicken with white rice and vegetables. The price is low too, which is one of the reasons we order from here so much.

Another note from a recent trip. The beef can be very tough and bland. It was my first time trying it. Perhaps stick to the chicken. However, the fried rice it just awesome.

I'm not gonna lie, this place looks sketch from the outside, but you have to just go inside and get something to go. I don't think I've ever seen anyone eating there everyone just takes it to go. And it's the perfect to go food for a week night. This place is definitely vegetarian friendly! Me and my partner would always get the vegetable fried rice and the vegetable lo mein. And we would get a total of about 6 meals out of that! So it's a fantastic deal. And did I mention the food is amazing?! Well it is. Support this local small business and eat here now!

This guy seems like a one man army and his food is in large portions and is very good. I've taken out from here numerous times while I was in school. The dude is friendly and personable. I've usually gotten sesame chicken and kung pao chicken and have never been disappointed. Good stuff. Wouldn't say it's the ideal place to eat in. And you'll see that it's more popular as a take-out place anyhow.

Probably my favorite Asian cuisine in all of Tucson. Good luck finishing the meal in one sitting as the portions are huge. Try the sesame chicken! It's amazing... One tip, however, make sure to call in your order then picking it up. It's only one guy who runs the whole show... Literally takes your order then runs back and cooks it... So if there are a few orders in front of you you can be waiting a while. Too bad Panda Express moved in right across the street...

I have been coming here for over 10 years. Best Chinese food for the buck. Their Kung Pao chicken is the best I have had. Love the staff, love the atmosphere.

It is not good. Lesser restaurants have crumbled, this place is somehow impervious. Maybe a trust fund or something, but hard to believe they come close to breaking even. u

The food is decent the guy there works really hard with panda express and old peking around but if you want traditional asian food this is a place you want to go

Only the creak of the door could be heard as I stepped into the dining room. It shut suddenly with a finality only matched by the score to The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. In the corner, a TV's silent screams mouthed unintelligible warnings. I froze. "What am I doing?" I thought with trepidation. "This can only end in..." My train of thought was derailed as I spotted movement in the kitchen. I glanced back at the door only to find that I'd covered the distance and was now closer to the counter. Before I could bolt, a middle aged man appeared from nowhere, all smiles and kindness. I was so shocked that in my stunned silence I had to rely on his recommendation for dinner. Five minutes later I had a steaming mound of fried rice so appetizing that the entire macabre episode was entirely forgotten. In fact, it was only after several hypnotherapy sessions that I was able to recover the memories erased by Tokyo's exquisite cuisine. Not only do I recommend this establishment for its excellent cuisine, but so do my therapists. Thank you Tokyo, see you tomorrow.

I've been coming here for years, because the food and service never change! Chau the owner takes pride in his dishes and always puts out a great tasting meal. The portions are enough for 2. This cozy place beats the major chains out hands down on consistently and overall flavor. I suggest you bring a Friend or a huge appetite.

I go here everytime I'm craving good Chinese fast food. The portions are HUGE and the price is cheap. It is a better bargain than the Panda Express across the street, and is 10x better! The owner is very nice and takes pride in his business. This place is the best for take-out for those days when you don't want to cook.

would give it -5 stars if Yelp would allow it. Walked in at 7:15. The place smells like an open sewer and it was freezing. Stood at the counter for 45-50 seconds, someone poked their head quickly around a corner to see me, but didn't say a word. I continued to wait for another 60 seconds, I said "hello" 3 times loud enough for this person to hear. No response, I said, loudly, that I wasn't in the mood for sewage for dinner and left. As I pulled away I saw the same person pop their head up above the counter to watch me drive away.........wtf? Not sure how all of the 5 star reviews made it on here, this place is a ^#@&hole.

I have been going here for years. Chau (Owner) works 6 days a week and makes good food. I have eaten Orange Chicken, Seseme Chicken (order upon request), and Beef Fried Rice. I usually get the Beef Fried Rice. It is better than most other places around the city. Chau always friendly and fast. This is mostly a take out place; however, there are a few chairs to have your meal. Nothing fancy; just good food at reasonable prices. The portions for take-out are large.

I've been coming here since I was a child. Great Chinese food at a great price. Owner is friendly to regulars and he's a very hard worker himself. He's the only person that works there!
