This place is just awful. If you happen to be anywhere near this place, just keep walking and go to Baggin's. We were on our way to Baggins but thought we'd try this place since we saw the signs and some people sitting outside. Worst sandwich I can ever remember eating. I thought this place looked promising because of the yummy things on the menu but then I realized there were 3 different menus and it was a bit confusing. That should have been a warning sign. I ended up ordering the prosciutto and red pepper panini. On one half of my sandwich was half a slice of red pepper and clumps of raw meat that cannot be categorized into a meat group. The meat was completely inedible. It was chunky and thick and gooey and riddled with strings of fat that make chewing it impossible. The meat and fat strings were getting stuck between my teeth. I can't believe I paid $7.50 for this sandwich, i wouldn't even get PAID $7.50 to eat it. The food and price are definitely 1 star worthy but the food came out quickly and the people there were friendly, hence two stars.

We stopped in here for lunch last week. The service was great, very friendly. Food came quickly and was tasty. I had a chicken pesto sandwich and hubby had an Italian combo sandwich. No complaints - good place for a quick lunch.

Wow... Had a great panini baked pastrami baguette. Wonderful flavors with the provolone, lettuce and pickles. Speaking of the pickles, they were superbly crunchy and delicious. Closest I've had to fresh NY deli pickles. Greek salad side was good, not great. Large amount of sandwich and salad for only $7.95. Service was friendly and fairly quick. They use high quality Boar's Head products, and great breads. I'm going back soon to try their other specialty panini sandwiches.

I ordered a Garden Salad with sprouts. How hard can that be? Well, they forgot to put the cucumbers and tomatoes. No biggy. They fixed it or so I thought. I get to my table to find one slice of cucumber and tomato. Really? You couldn't spare more? I went back to tell them I wanted some more. They gave me two more slices. I am spending over $7.00 on a Garden Salad!!...don't be cheap with your veggies. Just ridiculous. I've had issues with this place before, but it is close to work, so I keep giving them a second chance...but never again. Baggins will have to do..

Stumbled on this place by accident, so I wasn't really expecting much. It's actually surprisingly decent. Service was fast, we got our food quickly. I had the Italia, mozzarella panini with basil and tomatoes. My friend had the special, homemade lasagna. Open Saturday and Sunday.

I call this place "Small Portions Deli", expect to shell out $10 for lunch and still be hungry, the sandwiches are unbelievably small. Go spend your ten at Baggins next door instead.

Best place around for sandwiches and coffee. I love this place. I am not crazy about their salads, need a little more meat but the sandwiches and soup are to die for.

CaffeNation is one of my go-to lunch spots. They have plenty of healthy options and delicious sides, the service is quick, and the location is convenient (though parking during the lunch rush can be iffy). The panini menu is extensive, and is where I have found the tastiest dishes. You also can't go wrong with the prosciutto stuffed pepper as a side. Call-ahead if you're in a rush, otherwise sit down and enjoy the coffee shop atmosphere.

I ordered a breakfast wrap and it was very manufactured. I am not sure if anything in the wrap was actually made there. I tried again another day and ordered the Mediterranean Salad. The salad is supposed to come with Grilled Eggplants, Roasted Red Peppers, Kalamata Olives, Feta cheese, Tomatoes and Red Onions. I ordered the salad because of the eggplant. The salad I received contained no eggplant, no onions, plain black olives and cost me $10...

Tasty and simple. That's how I like my lunch joints. They have the entire menu listed and explained clearly above the register with lots of basic choices and some more creative ones, like the Popeye salad that I ordered (REAL baby greens, chicken, mandarin oranges, coconut, and yummy passion fruit vinaigrette). There's nothing I hate more than seeing iceberg lettuce passed off as a salad so I appreciate that they gave me a real salad They also have pretty good coffee. A great place to grab a big iced coffee if you're like me and hate Starbucks. And the young man at the register was very nice (i sound like a grandma). Overall no complaints. This seems like an all around quality coffee and lunch joint.

I have been to Caffe Nation on Valencia easily over 30 times over the past year. Two co-workers and I first went there when the line at the place next door was out the door and we had a limited time for lunch. We have not been back to the other location since. Caffe Nation is a great place to eat. Their menu is extensive without being overly big and their staff are always friendly. We can always get in and out of there with plenty of time to spare if we have a limited amount of time for lunch.

I needed some treats for a morning meeting so I though "hey, I'll support a locally owned business". It was a terrible mistake. The previous day I checked their website to make sure they had pastries or bagels. They show both on their menu. Perfect! I show up in the morning and walk up to an empty counter. I waited for anyone to help me. Someone did yell at me to hold on a minute from the back. 5 minutes later... I timed it... a woman walks up and looks at me. I said I needed to get some pastries. She replied "yeah, we don't have any. You need to order those ahead of time." (It doesn't say that on their site, it says "we guarantee to be able to fulfill all of your dining needs".) OK... they have an menu hanging in front of the counter with the different types of bagels they have. That'll do. "Ok, I'll take some bagels." "Yeah, we don't have any bagels... We have 6 muffins (obviously bought from Costco) I can cut those up if you want..." The south side of Tucson doesn't have a lot of choices for this kind of thing so I had to scramble to find something. I drove past a bunch of places that would have worked nicely so I could support this local place. That's a mistake I won't make again.

I found CN on the way to a class near the airport. To my happiness, they are the only place nearby that has decent coffee within walking distance of the hotel. I ordered up a sandwich and was pleasantly surprised with the value for the money. Even with a line to the door (apparently there really aren't many options around here!) they turned my sandwich in minutes. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

I love Arbuckles coffee, which they serve. Yum! Good sandwich selection, good salads, and I love breakfast all day. However, I just learned that their eggs come from a carton ("eggs with citrus"?!), hence only 3 stars. I will revise my review to 4 stars when they start serving REAL eggs, from shells from chickens. They're a little pricey for lunch, too.

I'v been here twice in the morning for coffee and twice for lunch. Coffee was WAY to strong and burnt. Although the food was good, you better have some time because it takes them forever at lunch time to get through the 5 person line they get.

So Mike and Ilona take care of me each and every morning. I am addicted to their Snow Mocha. Their bagels are delivered fresh every morning. They also have scones and muffins available. Their muffins are not baked fresh - they are from Costco. They also serve a full breakfast and lunch. I have eaten lunch there a couple of times and have not been overly impressed with it. They are the only coffee place between I-10 and I-19 on Valencia. This makes it perfect on my way into work. Their drip is also good.

A couple years I got bubble guts from an espresso. I only get those with bad milk. I never went back.

We went here every morning for coffee when we were in Tucson for business a few weeks ago. The 1 - 6 p.m. happy hour sign just seemed completely random, as I viewed this as more of a soup/sandwich/coffee place, not so much somewhere I'd go for drinks. But no matter - I'm just glad there was someplace like this close enough to our hotel for decent coffee. We also had lunch here one day and it was pretty good. I had a salad, the name of which escapes me at the moment, but it was great--chicken, hearts of palm and mandarin oranges--kind of an interesting combo. The only weird thing was that it came with a piece of bread, but it was the heel of just regular sandwich bread. The service is really good. They put up with our shenanigans and order changes every morning, always with a great attitude.

I can't even begin to describe how delicious their sandwiches are. This is going to be my recurring lunch-spot. Their foccacia bread is soft, and flavorful. Their ham tastes prime and their pineapple chunks are juicy and large. I've only had two of their sandwiches thus far but I expect to have tried everything on the menu by the end of the year. It's that good.

Drinks are great - really made to order with care; they seem to take awhile. I love their Italian sodas (blackberry, strawberry, and raspberry), cremosas (with orange juice), and any of their flavored lattes for $3-4. Their sandwiches are high-quality - Boars Head cheese and meat, but I do not usually have time to sit down in here. On the outside, it says CN, but it's Caffe Nation.
