So disappointed that they discontinued their "premium toppers" section of the salad bar. If you are going to take away such an important part of the meal you should lower the price a bit. Boo!

Being a frequent visitor of Sweet Tomatoes - I thought this would be a good stop while in Tucson for the day...If I had never been to another location this review would have been much higher - but compared to the other locations in Mesa, Chandler, Phoenix - this one stunk! There was only one selection of juice & tea vs about 5-6 in other locations, the desert selection bit the big one too with only soft serve and toppings, no hot, freshly baked desert of the month or fresh cookies. The soup bar was also lacking with only 4-5 choices vs 7-8 in other locations.

I took my wife for dinner here and the food was great. All the items they had were awsome. There salads were fresh and the soups that I had were very hot and tasty. I will be going back here very soon.

I go to Sweet Tomatoes for a quick and healthy lunch. I mainly just go for the salad because I like the variety of toppings they offer such as squash, beets, assortment of cheeses, and different kinds of lettuces. They also have really tasty chocolate chip cookies and muffins. However, I've tried almost every kind of soup they have and all of them have been in desperate needs of some spices.

It's refreshing to find a restaurant in Tucson that has actual green lettuce. I don't think it's as fresh as it should be, but it's definitely a better salad option than what you would get at most other restaurants in this city. The pasta/baked goods/dessert is good.
