Quick, easy drive thru and good coffee. Love all the different flavor options for my coffee, latte or mocha. I am a bigger fan of this drive thru than another popular drive thru place nearby whose mocha I did not like which is saying a lot because it's hard to mess up a mocha. The drive thru has always been fast for me too when I've used. Definitely will be using this place when in town

Some seriously good black coffee here. Stumbled upon this place on the way to saguaro national park east district and was delighted to see they had a drive thru, score! Friendly barista excellent service.

Nice little coffee shop. I am still looking for the nice mix of environment, coffee taste and presentation. This place is very nice, friendly staff with a fairly neat looking shop. Just not my ideal place. Seems like the norm now is to automatically put your latte in a paper cup, and most shops have seating outside but close to a major road. Most baristas don't know how to make a fancy latte, but that's expected. All in all it's a nice place. If you know that place I am searching for let me know. The closest one I know of is in San Antonio Tx or Hawaii. Still searching for one here. AJs is close though. Is there a nice relaxing old world style cafe, with seating near a quiet street with great coffee and great scenery, with that great real latte cup with a barista with a flare for artwork? I remember I was in Panama on an off street that fit that description, what a great cup of coffee, and cheese cake to die for, and scenery that was magical. That was over 20 years ago though.

Excellent coffee and awesome staff! This is also a really cool place to hang out, meet friends, and browse some beautiful locally-made crafts. Support this local coffee shop! You won't be sorry!

Great espresso, super friendly staff, what could be better? I'm grateful this place is on my way to work and always very happy to give fantastic local coffee places my business. Absolutely worth stopping in when you're on the Eastside.

I'm a huge fan of Rattlesnake Espresso. Small shop, but the amount of seating is sufficient as most people seem to be taking their drinks to go. The decor is very Tucson, which I diiiig. When I stopped in, they were hosting what looked like a small jewelry market that a local vender set up on one side of the shop. Definitely great to see a local business supporting another local business. A huge feature of Rattlesnake is the drive-thru! I love when local coffee shops can pull this off. It makes it so convenient if you're trying to grab something on the go. Throw in a super friendly barista and a delicious iced latte (almond milk available) and this is a stellar coffee spot.

I just moved to the east side and needed to get out of my house to get work done on a Sunday (as I get distracted so easily with all the people and things available in my house). After an initial search, rather than go to Starbucks I saw Rattlesnake Espresso was open for a few hours, so I decided to try something new (I also felt having a few less hours to work = higher level of productivity). I really liked the atmosphere and the staff (at first the owner and her daughter, then another employee). They were super friendly and the prices are fair and I really enjoyed my chai tea latte with almond milk. And I got all my work done for the day. I can't give 5 stars just yet as I need to go again and try some other stuff, but so far I definitely recommend this place.

The thing I like about this place the most is the decor and atmosphere. It was very quiet when I visited and I believe I was served by one of the owners. She made our espressos and brought them to our table for us too, which was nice of her. I would like to give them a better rating, but I was not that impressed with the quality of the espresso surprisingly. I hope to go back and try some of their coffee and other beverages to improve my rating.

First time customer and I am highly impressed! I got the americano! So delicious! Exactly what I wanted! I will definitely become a regular :)

This is my favorite local coffee shop. I use to be a Starbucks regular until I randomly walked into their little coffee shop. This is a small family run shop that serves great organically roasted coffee and the prices are great. This has become a staple for me and my family every Sunday.

So glad I found this place! So good and customer service is so great and sweet! Got my favorite Americano with sugar free almond pump and it was delicious. I'll be back for sure!

I love this cafe! It's a local shop tucked away off Broadway street. If you're not looking for it, you might miss it. I came to Tucson on a business trip and stumbled across this place on accident. I came back every day I was there. The coffee is some of the best I've had in the U.S. I got the iced cafe latte (thanks Tucson heat) and my coworker got the hot latte and iced coffee. Delicious! Customer service is excellent! If you're around, support local and check this place out.

Add on to my last post, I have ONE complaint about this place....I wish they had a higher end blender like a vitamix or blendtec for their coffees because a lot of the time ice chunks come out in their fraps. Definitely time to throw out the Oster blender and invest in a professional one. Seriously love their coffee though!!!!

Just swung by here. Not bad. Friendly staff. Menu is mostly lattes, cappuccino, and basic things. I like me coffee black so I can taste the coffee and not cream and sugar. Surprisingly espresso isn't included on the menu though I'm sure you can get it. I got an Americano. Tastes similar to Starbucks, so I've had better. Coffee and espresso can be quite enriching and complex. Didn't get it so much here It has outdoor seating that is nice. Good view of the mountains West. It's a basic coffee place that can be convenient on a commute, but overall I don't see myself coming here much. It's also a pretty slow part of town. Locals will like it probably, thus the higher ratings by them.

I absolutely love the coffee here! I don't know why I haven't left a review sooner. The iced white mocha is my all time favorite! The espresso is rich & tasteful. Also, they do have drive thru. I love the decor of the cafe. Lots of local artist have items on display for sale. All cute one of a kind items. I love supporting local places. The servers are always nice. Though sometimes they are too busy talking to their friends to pay too much attention to the customers. That would be my only complaint. Just depends on the day really. The owner is extremely nice.

I swing by Rattlesnake enough people probably think I work there. Awesome coffee. I either get a vanilla latte with soy or a straight americano and have never been disappointed. I wish the Mother/Daughter team that run the place weren't so friendly though. Drink the coffee much? JK...super nice people that are fast at the drive through and get my order right.

Great coffee and a great atmosphere to spend an afternoon at. The staff is friendly and doesn't mind informing a coffee newbie about the different drinks available.

Best iced Carmel Machiatto I have ever had! It was creamy and perfectly sweet and the espresso was awesome. The barista was friendly and I loved the feel of the place super cozy with a rustic feel. It also has a drive through!

If you're looking for a place to drink steamed milk then visit this coffeehouse. The ambience is very quaint and the hostess is also very nice. It has a warm neighborhood feel and a cool Arizona theme. However, my experience with the café lattes has been very lackluster. I will probably try them again but will have to order something different. I did buy a piece of art from them which was really cool. For a quality café latte you definitely need to try Savaya a coffee. They have trained barista's and roast their own beans. It's an extremely high quality product.

My first time here today, the barista was very nice and polite. I only ordered a cup of house coffee, but it was quite good, very bold, not bitter at all. I recommend this over a house Starbucks any day. The atmosphere is homey as well, very interesting set up for a java joint. Couches, tables and chairs, some rustic elements and a nice big outdoor patio space. I'll come back if I'm ever far east again.

We went through the drive through. I had a marshmallow latte which was so good. The lady told us that we could get any flavored to could imagine. She was right!! She was very friendly. I wish we lived closer.

Brilliant spot for a coffee drank. Wife suggested this place and she was spot on. Super nice people, quality coffee, and you know you are supporting local business and not the big name coffee joints. Will continue to support.

I stumbled upon this little gem about two weeks ago. As a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur, I am very picky about my coffee. I drink plain, black coffee and like it strong and flavorful. Rattlesnake did not disappoint! I was SO impressed by their coffee! And on top of that, the space is adorable and the staff is kind and friendly. After finding this mistress, I am officially breaking up with Starbucks :-)

Ha! As I was complaining there is no coffee house between home and work (I moved few months ago) That every morning just an average morning since. That ...just changed today.... Colleague told me about this coffee house yesterday and I made a pit stop on my to work this morning. Pleasant! Pleasant!! little place. Even its relative new (2,3 months old?). They do offered 3 different blends, after I sampled them all I picked the full moon (medium dark and smooth) fill my cup... of course half way through the bottle was empty....no problem here, I can wait for the fresh brew... Yay!! The 1.75 mile commute to work will never be the same. P.S. just FYI. I am writing this on my phone via the updated yelp app and posted it.. Finally!

Great local east side coffee place. So glad I checked it out on a Sunday because 9-12 coffee is 1/2 price! I had a delicious iced caramel macchiato with soy and I was impressed with all the other flavor options as well. I also like that they sell coffee from local roasters. They also have specials throughout the week and the bf and I are looking forward to coming back for their date night special to hang out one their comfy couch and play games and check out their table books.

Drove by this place the other day and decided to stop in. I'm really glad we did! all of the drinks we ordered were delicious! The people that were working in there were really friendly and the prices are great. We will definitely be coming back here.

Great coffee and pastries. I have been getting the tuxedo iced coffee. It is white and dark chocolate syrup. So tasty! Today I tried the pumpkin pie latte-AMAZING! Tasted like real pumpkin and had nutmeg on top. I asked for caramel added on top-even better! I love the local, coffee house feel and that they allow local artists and vendors to display their wares. It has a great community feel and just makes you happy to be supporting a local business who supports you back!

Visiting my parents from out of town and my dad recommended I come here to get a local fix! I got a skinny iced mocha, my sister got a skinny caramel macchiato. Both were good but kind of on the sweet side. Everyone does their coffee differently, so now we just know how to ask for ours. It was nice and cool inside and pretty busy for a mid-Thursday morning. The women behind the bar were friendly and helpful and we had a great experience. My only one little comment is maybe work on getting chairs that are little more comfortable. If I wanted to come down to get some work done I'd have trouble settling in for a hour on the metal chair. Looking forward to coming back, I always love a good locally owned coffee shop!

Love that we now have a tasty, local coffee/espresso option in the neighborhood! The baristas are always friendly and the teas and coffee have been consistently yummy.

This place is great! I've only used the drive-thru window, but they were friendly, fast, and my latte was delicious. I had one shot less than the drink normally has, and they charged me accordingly, I was amazed! Also, they have customer loyalty cards, bonus points! Only negative is that they aren't open on Sundays. I definitely recommend this place though. Go local!
