What can you say? Carne asada burritos the size of an infant. I don't know that I have had much else there. The carne asada burrito is just that good. Another one of those places (especially this location) that going through the drive-thru is really my only option... fine dining elsewhere. If you have ever lived, or spent a good amount of time in Tucson, and have eaten at Los Betos, you can't wait to come back and hit the drive-thru.

Negative stars would be better representative. These are the most careless employees on the planet. They are the representatives of a business that I can see just does not care. The fact this place is open shows what little regard the owner has for all customers. Not only will I never go back to this Los Betos, I will never go to any of their locations. They charged over $9.00 for a carne asada burrito and would not give me my $3.00 change. My receipt has the accurate price listed (not nearly as high as $9.00). At that, the burrito was an absolute joke. It was soggy and about half the size it really should have been. I will make sure that everyone I know never eats at this specific location (dodge/grant) ever. I Am going to ask them to make sure that they pass it on to all the people they know who want Mexican fast food. They showed to me a lack of respect as a consumer (and I know they were piggishly disgusting to the vehicle in front of me as I heard them complain while I was sitting in my own car - they too did not receive their accurate change). I call what they did theft and strong arming and attribute it to ignorance and racism. I stand by these convictive words and I will when I contact the bbb. Any business who will not and cannot provide proper service does not deserve to be operating (especially anything as simple as one person taking my money and giving me accurate change and another person making food - these are simple - it is their job and it is all it takes for them to receive a paycheck). The owner should be ashamed as should the guy running the drive thru during late night hours. This is not the first time I have had an issue with them (moreover, this same server) but this was definitely the final straw. Any business and employee that treats a customer like they are inept definitely needs to look in the mirror and reflect deeply on the kind of person they are now and how little they will probably change for the better - in terms of themselves personally and as a business function. Long story short - this has happened before, it's worse now and I strongly believe this business will continue to operate poorly on an increasing scale. Please let every person you know know about this post. I do not normally do things like this but this business, it's location and employees need to be set straight. Bad business deserves no business - pass it on.

aww i can't put negative stars! fuck this place! anytime of the day or night, food is shit, the people can't count, can't make food, can't offer at least a shred of decent customer service! i would not miss this place if it closed down! it would actually be doing society a favor hell it'd be doing this country a favor. if it got got all new employees and owner(s) then maybe it would be better! it would be better if it were a quick trip or a fat burger! i will never buy anything from there again! yelp should have an option titled: vent or complaints because this place screwed up a breakfast burrito! how the fuck does that happen! everything about this establishment is shit! i also took a pic of a toilet which i should have taken it with a nice fat turd in it possibly multi-colored! people may say that my review should be decent, well not to this place, it's not my fault this place is horrible! never again! let me run this place for 1 month and it'll be one of the best spots in town! This is a place to get food when you're wasted not sober!

This place is a chain and open 24 hours!! I get off work late so I love that I can come to any of their locations to grab a bite instead of spending another 30 minutes to cook. There are many of these drive thru locations but I always go to this one for their superior service! Their carne asada burrito with guacamole and cheese is the besttt. I'm pretty generic with what I order at Mexican restaurants so if they make my favorites the right way they automatically win me over. I also really like their Jamaica, it isn't too sweet so I prefer theirs over BK's.. I haven't been here lately because the junior burritos at BK are a better portion for me, but I haven't completely crossed out Los Betos as my late night option either! Give this place a try I'm sure you'll be satisfied [:

Kinda dissapointing. I just moved to Tucson from Los Angeles and was told to go here first thing. The interior looks run down and the server had a bad attitude when I was looking at the menu. Food was average, Nico's is a lot better

This Los Betos has been around for many years. It was been consistent of being just average. In comparison to other Los Betos, it takes them longer to make the food. They also don't know how to apply coupons in their machines. The food is not as good as the location on 1st Ave and Wetmore, which is my favorite fast-food Mexican place in all of Southern Arizona. There is only shaded outdoor seating with a television. If you are not going through the drive-thru, you order at one of two windows.

I don't normally go here, but I was really in need of a Horchata, and I knew Los Betos would suffice. And they did. I ordered up a big old large Horchata and also a bean burrito. I am glad the burrito is cheap, it's just $2. It's a fair size, nothing special, but good. The line was busy for this location. The Horchata is mostly ice but was quenching and helpful for my queasy stomach. It costs almost as much as the burrito though, jeez!

If only the Mexican consulate had enough power to come and close this place down. This type of establishment does nothing for the image of Mexico in America. The rice is crunchy. The flour tortillas are "fake" and taste preservative-y. If Los Betos is allowed to serve food this bad, I am also allowed to make up words. Recently, a co-worker said that the food varies by location. Maybe it's just this location that is wonky. Why? That's all I have to say.

A good taco shop and Mexican Fast Food location here in Tucson. Is it great food, no. But when you are in the mood for a Taco it is a good deal. For 5 bucks you can get 5 Hard Chicken or Ground Beef Tacos. They are like the Taco Bell ones but so much better. I also love their Rice.

I almost always regret going to Los Betos. It's not that the food is bad per se, but it's very bland, no matter what I happen to order. The service is pretty bad too, even for a fast food joint. On top of everything else, the restaurant is dirty and I've seen the workers handling the food with their bare hands... their only saving grace is their surprisingly adequate carne asada burrito.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
