Inspired by Hawaii, this is the cutest little froyo place ever! Froyo is very fresh and tastes amazing, in addition to having a great topping selection! I recommend KonaBeri to anyone with a sweet tooth, they are sure to satisfy!

This shop has wonderful frozen yogurt. It doesn't have a strange aftertaste like other ones in town, and tastes really fresh. The variety is good, and they change flavors frequently so you don't ever get bored. The toppings area is large and there are so many options. Best of all the price is good. They charge by weight but even loaded with toppings I've never paid more than $8.

This place is a little oasis in a strip mall... with bright welcoming colors, a non-cheesy Hawaiian theme, friendly staff, and about 10 knock-your-socks-off frozen yogurt flavors. Unlike many other yogurt places I've been to, all of the flavors taste FRESH. So good. I've popped in this place since we moved to town more times than I'd like to admit. Some of my favorite flavors: Salted Caramel Pretzel, Espresso, Dark Chocolate and the classic Tart. They always have tasty sorbets too, like peach or mango. The punch card is the way to go... buy 9 get 1 free. There's a great outdoor area with a little kiddie table and chairs for the little ones, as well as a shark cutout for fun photos. Perfect spot to meet up with a friend or bring your kids (or just stop by after your trip to Safeway for a froyo fix!).

Go in, get a ridiculously big cup, fill it (partially or otherwise) with "Frozen Yogurt" that is chock full of a bunch of hard to pronounce chemicals, and prepare to really pay up... by the ounce. Seriously, what a dumb fad... obviously some people are completely ok with all this. I'm a lot happier with real ice cream from the Safeway next door-with real ingredients on the label for a fraction of the price. They do not take AmEx, and have some unwritten and ridiculously unfair rules about their coupons. Expect some of the help to treat you like you're less important than their gossip/texts/drama.

I still cannot believe this place is not a national chain. I assumed it was for about a year. The decorations, the branding, the small details... this place is incredibly well put together. When I found it was local--AWESOME. Here's what I like: -Atmosphere: Fun Hawaiian sayings, great decorating, comfortable seating. -Frequent customer card (I just earned my 20% off!) -Little details: The outside is my favorite for this. GREAT outside patio, my son can run around and play. There's SHELLS in the rocks surround--what a fun addition! There's a shark he'll play around. There's even a "kids table" and two high chairs outside too. Very family friendly!! -Nice friendly staff with good service. -Community service: I always see their food cart out and about helping to raise money for local organizations. -TASTE (most important): They have this salted caramel pretzel flavor, it's unbelievable. I've gone back twice this week. Plus all the topping you'd want. Here's what I dislike: -Nothing. Seriously. And I always have feedback. Read my other reviews. I can't think of a thing I would change. Well when this place does become a national chain, I will very proudly say how I was eating there since WAY back when it was this little tiny store in my neighborhood! I'm so happy to support this brilliant little local store!

I would have given this place a 5 for their wide selection of flavors and toppings, but I've gone to this particular Kona Berry four or five times now (each time with a buy one get one free coupon) and each visit included an inattentive staff, usually composed if high school aged boys and girls, who are too busy talking to each other (or with their phones) to be of any real assistance. On my last visit my husband and I were greeted then completely ignored as the couple working was standing in the back laughing and talking. We wanted tasting cups but the staff was so engrossed in their conversation that I just went to the front, grabbed a spoon, and sampled using my cup! When we went to check out, my husband attempted to make small talk but the employee barely responded and seemed like she really wanted us to pay and leave. We felt like we weren't wanted and it's important to note that poor customer service ALWAYS leads to fewer customers. We will not be returning, or suggesting this place to anyone else. BTO is our new favorite. The frozen yogurt and toppings are better and the staff is never unprofessional.

This place is nice and clean. They had ~10 frozen yogurt flavors, with about half being tart. I personally do not like tart, but if you do, yay for you. I saw some flavors I had never seen elsewhere before at Kona Beri, such as Greek yogurt with honey. It's cool that you don't to ask for sample cups. They are sitting next to the frozen yogurt cups. Toppings were plenty and fruit was fresh. The watermelon and blueberries were good. The worst part is that their frozen yogurt was $0.49/oz.! What the?! Self-serve, in my experience, has almost always been $0.40 or less per ounce. The fact that they have punch cards is great, but unless you're madly in love with tart flavors, I would skip this one.

My husband and I have been on a yogurt kick. We went to U-Swirl the other day and tonight, we decided to try Kona Beri. When we came in, the place was dead. I got some sample cups and tried their strawberry and tahiti vanilla flavors. Both were nice and creamy and pretty delicious. Then, I looked over to the toppings and my heart sank. I LOVE toppings, they make the yogurt, in my opinion. First, there weren't many fresh fruit options. The strawberries weren't very fresh, it looked like they were sitting in there all day untouched. The kiwi looked shriveled and I just didn't even bother with it. So we got our yogurt and at the checkout, it was 3 dollars more than U-Swirl! My husband preferred the quality of yogurt better but I probably wouldn't come back.

Great Frozen yogurt and great idea, However the staff are very distracted with friends and cell phones and gossip. would have given them 5* but several occasions we have had to track down the staff outside or in the back on their cell phones. they need to hire a management staff that keeps a close eye on the employees i strongly encourage you to give it a try the cookie N cream is awesome and they rotate flavors on a regular basis. very inexpensive at 3-4 $ pending you don't go nuts ha ha

I would be in so much trouble. It is just a tad too far, or I would be there every night! I love the Hawaiian Tart flavor. Just tart enough. They have a great range of self-serve yogurt flavors, and a large assortment of toppings, from fresh fruit, chocolates, candies, and syrups. Delish! My kids are also big fans! Make sure you get a punch card!

I went in here with my son last week. We had been looking forward to trying this froz yog place because we heard such good things about it. Wow, we're we disappointed when we walked in and it smelled like a sewer. I asked the gal working what that smell is and she told me that it was sewer gas and they can't do anything about it. How about moving the shop? We had to leave immediately and couldn't believe that anyone could eat in there let alone feel like getting food from there. My son said it would be like eating ice cream in a porto potty. Exactly. Just disgusting. We went to Frost.

By far Kona Beri is my favorite frozen yogurt shop in Tucson! The price is reasonable, the staff is friendly, the yogurt and toppings are delicious, and they have a nice little shaded patio to enjoy the treat. You should definitely try it today!

I've been to many self-serve frozen yogurt places, and Kona Beri ranks the highest. They have about 10 different frozen yogurt flavors, some low-fat, some fat-free, some sugar-free, some tart, and sometimes they even have sorbet. No matter which flavor you choose, you can guarantee it's going to be packed with flavor and have a smooth, creamy consistency. Some places end up watering down their product, or not freezing it correctly, which causes consistency issues, but that's definitely not the case at Kona Beri! I've never had anything but the best here! Their topping bar is amazing! They have lots and lots of fresh fruit toppings, which go great with the tart frozen yogurt! They also have lots of cookie, candy, brownie, etc. options. They even have cans of cake icing, if you're into *really* sweet toppings! Basically, any topping you want, you'll find here, and it'll be fresh and yummy! The store itself is always clean, and they're always swapping out items at the topping bar or tidying it up. The Hawaiian theme is fun and interesting! The staff is friendly and pleasant. If you like frozen yogurt, you have to try out Kona Beri! And if you plan on going frequently, remember to get a punch card! You'll earn free yogurt in no time!

The selection of flavors was not impressive plus one machine was broken so that makes the selection even smaller. The flavor of every single option there is so fake and artificially flavored. There is no way that one of the flavors was made correctly (I believe it was Hawaiian Tart) because it smelled sour and tasted like the biproduct produced from a hungover teenager drinking Mike's Hard Lemonade all night. Save your money and go next door to Safeway or go somewhere else.

Kona Beri is Fro Yo at it's best! The fresh faced kids that run the place are very friendly and have lots of Aloha spirit. The Fro Yo is some of the best I've had. I absolutely love the Pineapple and Coconut swirled together. Top it off with some Cap'n Crunch and I'm in heaven! Mahlo Kona Beri, I wish you were in Alpharetta, GA too!

woohoo...#100!! What a darling yogurt place this is. A wide variety of yummy flavors...I had to taste-them all of course :-) I finally settled in Hawaiian tart which was the perfect blend of sweet and sour. Note: they have several gluten-free options available.

Greeted with a warm "Mahalo!" by the staff who seem remarkably unaffected by the teenage angst of working behind a counter, this self serve fro-yo joint stands apart from the rest. At least 10 different rotating flavors include the standard chocolate and vanilla, fresh and fruity choices like pineapple and coconut, a non-dairy and allergy friendly sorbet, and the 'tart' varieties which are less sweet and taste more like a real yogurt and not just artificially sweetened air fluff. And they are happy to give out tasting cups for you to try before loading up your cup (or bucket, depending on your appetite). Fresh and clean toppings bar with fresh fruit, candy, nuts, syrups and even cans of spray frosting for self medication of life's great woes. Wall seating on the inside, but there is a great shaded patio outside with a kids table too. Quick tip: check out the text code on the cup stand to get 15% off your same day purchase (and get it before you actually weight and pay)

New Pineapple Sorbet, excellent! My new fav! Always a great place to take the family. This is a self serve frozen yougurt outlet that charges you by the ounce. They have a large variety of flavors that are always alternating. The fruit and toppings are always fresh, and the staff is always hospitable........

This is by far the best frozen yogurt place in town. The yogurt is rich, full of flavor, and creamy. It doesn't melt quickly like some other places I've tried. The topping selection is extensive and always fresh. The employees are cheerful and helpful. My son loves playing out on the patio. What's not to love?!
