*Disclaimer* I've only had Fresco's delivered- never actually eaten in the restaurant. But- my experiences with delivery have all been great, they deliver usually about 30-45 minutes after I call. The pizza is WONDERFUL, they have a great variety of pizzas and of course you can add ingredients or make up your own mix if you want. I guess it's a little on the spendier side- but the quality is so much better than if you got any of the big chain places. One thing though- they gluten free crust is only available in medium. It would be great if you could get GF pizza in any size.

Their pizza is freaking great. Let's not complicate this. It was great pizza. They could have stopped there. But no. They had go and give us free pesto bread sticks. Have you had pesto bread sticks? They're bread sticks. With pesto sauce on them. Do you know what this means? Neither do I. My mind was blown.

I have only had delivery from Fresco and the staff who answers the phone are always polite and helpful. I love that the vegan pizzas have Daiya cheese on them. My favorite is a the veggie with double vegan cheese. Yum, yum, yum! Delivery times are quick and unlike another pizza joint in town this one delivers east of Country Club!

The new expansion is awesome, and food quality is just as high as it has always been. Staff is friendly and efficient. I just wish I lived closer so I could take advantage of their delivery.

Pizza was absolutely delicious . The ingredients were so fresh and the crust so Italian ! The environment and the decor were awesome . I strongly recommend this place

I was first introduced to this place when my daughter earlier in the year was married. The chef from here catered the event. It was delicious and the entire wedding party enjoyed the food and service. It was because of this I decided to try out the restaurant. I have eaten there, but today I ordered a calzone for delivery. It arrived in a timely manner. I had ordered the ricotta cheese calzone with Canadian bacon, mushroom, and pineapple. A side of marinara sauce was provided for dipping. They did not skimp on the cheese, it was very rich. I wish the marinara sauce had a bit more complex flavor, but I will order it again.

Fresco is vegan-friendly! Fresco Pizza + Pasta at Speedway and Country Club has some delicious vegan linguine with marinara sauce, and you can ask for the garlic bread to be made with olive oil instead of butter. They also have Daiya mozzarella to use on pizzas, and their dough is vegan. I hear there is a vegan lasagna in the works. I've eaten there twice in two days! Their marinara is really fresh and yummy. They have some unusual toppings for their pizzas, in addition to the usual choices: zucchini, eggplant, goat horn peppers, pine nuts, corn, cashews, capers, and roasted green chilis [hatch chilis when in season] These also appear to be vegan: Superstix without parmesan, linguini with truffle oil, and some of their salads. They are in the midst of a construction project to expand their seating, but are still open normal hours: Mon - Thu: 11:00 am - 10:00 pm Fri - Sat: 11:00 am - 11:00 pm Sun: 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm They deliver, too--call to find out the area they cover. facebook.com/frescopronto

Another five-star dining review! Fresco serves-up wonderful fresh and tasty pizza. We tried this store as a change in our usual fare when we visit Tucson during the gem shows. For what you get, their prices are very reasonable. My husband and I were new, and the friendly young man behind the counter told us about their pizza, how it is made from all fresh ingredients, etc. The restaurant was very clean and inviting. We ordered the meat-special pizza, which included chunks of chicken besides the usual sausage, pepperoni, ham and bacon. The pizza was GREAT! Crispy AND tender crust, plenty of toppings, and a "multiple-napkiner." We also had a nice talk with the young owner, and you can tell his business is his passion and only wants to serve the best and highest quality food to his customers. We will definitely return next year! Do I recommend Fresco?...YOU BETCHA I DO!!!

I've never eaten at the restaurant but I've had them deliver several times. For delivery Italian food, it's pretty darn good. Better than I had expected. The only complaint I have is that sometimes the pasta isn't as warm as I'd like it to be. The most delicious thing I've had so far is the chicken alfredo pizza. Oh man, to die for! I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Went here yesterday with my mom and was surprised to see how nice it is that they expanded. Woman behind register was courteous and nice. We ordered a large pizza and didn't have to wait too long for a really tasty, crunchy, and filling pie. We were checked on regularly which was a nice surprise. I really enjoyed myself and enjoyed the food. Will recommend to coworkers and drag my friends here when I want pizza.

Great place to eat with fresh ingredients! Especially for a place that delivers quickly and with a smile! You can't go wrong with Fresco!

I'm so delighted to have found such a great pizza spot. I tried it for the first time tonight via delivery. The woman who took my order was very friendly and polite. My pizza arrived in the time they said and was hot and fresh. I ordered the 12 inch half Alfredo half Loaded (can't recall the proper names) and it was so incredibly delicious. Totally blew my mind. I also got free pesto bread sticks from the Yelp offer and they were good too. I highly recommend this place and won't be ordering pizza from anywhere else.

I have eaten at this pizzeria several times and have used the catering part of the business also several times. THIS IS MY FAVORITE PIZZERIA & PASTARIA IN ALL OF TUCSON! When we arrived the other night we were greeted by very friendly employees who took our order. We had ordered the Spinach & Ricotta Stuffed Shells and the Alfredo Florentine. Our meal arrived in a very timely fashion. The dinner was absolutely excellent and generous proportions (in fact I got to eat part of my wife's meal the next day!). On previous occasions we have ordered the pizza and it is probably the best in Tucson! My absolute favorite is the Margherita Pizza followed by a Pesto with Mozzarella Cheese (I usually have them throw on some mushrooms as well). However, my absolute favorite is the Ricotta Cheese and Spinach Calzone! This is to die for! Fresco is not a chain and there is only one location. However, they recently expanded their existing facility to allow a much larger sit down crowd. So they have take out, delivery, eat-in and catering.

They live up to their name. The food is always fresh and the cheese sticks are so so yummy with a side of their 5 alarm pizza ;).

Just ordered for the first time from Fresco's. Pizza was exellent! And very happy with the delivery time... arrived within the time they specified.

In town on business and ordered delivery to the hotel for a working dinner, simple caprese salad and plain wings. The order was delivered much more quickly than anticipated, which was initially a pleasant surprise - until I opened up the wings, which were not thoroughly cooked. The caprese salad was ok - decent amounts of cheese and generous basil in a light olive oil.

I live one major light away from them and with my first time ordering, their delivery took almost two hours. When I called, they didn't apologize or offer to remake or comp my order. It showed up Luke warm, alright pizza and the pasta didn't have enough sauce. I am not coming back.

Love the Bodacious BBQ pizza with meatballs!!! The delivery time was quick and the quality of the meal was perfect. I also had the pesto bread strips. Definitely a shareable portion, but nonetheless very good!

So pay extra attention when you call for delivery. We took their special for delivery, $15.99 for 16" inch, 2 toppings. Sounds awesome right? Except if you don't ask for the extras for delivery they won't give them. I give 3 stars because the pizza was good. Not amazing but way better than domino's. I just thought with a $6+ tip for a $16 pizza (with tax) you would deserve RANCH and more peppers n such. And the pizza to be more warm when it arrived. I just expected more from a yelp restaurant that had more than 4 stars.

After being so disappointed in my foodie outings lately, I come back to Fresco. I have ordered from here many times and they never disappoint. Way to go Fresco, great prices, super fresh and yummy food. The customer service is awesome too, plus they give free pesto strip when you check in and they have a new rewards program! If I didn't get sick of eating pizza and pasta every time I ordered out, I'd order here exclusively! At least my reviews would always be nice and tasty! Enjoy fellow Yelpers!

Ok everyone I'm a little bummed after reading all the stellar reviews. I give this pizzeria 3.5 stars. We ordered Alfredo Florentine and Fettuccini Alfredo with Jerk chicken. And since we heard such fantastic reviews we used the Check in deal for a 1/2order of Pesto bread sticks. The Fettuccini was slightly overcooked but not mushy. The Alfredo sauce while ok was slightly runny and didn't really "stick" to the noodles. My chicken was just plain un-seasoned sliced chicken breast of sort. "Pre-packaged frozen" is my guess. My husbands jerk chicken had great flavor. The pesto bread.. Holy wow, I love love garlic, but in my first bite I got about 1/4 of a raw clove. Toooo much. On a bright note though, the dipping marinara was stellar and the most "fresca or fresh" flavor they had. In short. Its a decent restaurant, and I didn't hate anything, but truthfully, There are at least 3 other Italian restaurant's in town I would rather eat at. Good luck all, live and eat well

It's been a while since I've found a pizza place that was worth sharing. Fantastic! Even my 2 year old loves it. I ordered as a last minute idea because I didn't feel like cooking dinner. I ordered half salads for my husband and I. I'm sure glad I did. The dinner salad must be a meal on it's own. It was great. The greens were fresh, the dressing homemade, and it was worth every penny. I thought the homemade croutons were great; however, there were only 4 of them. Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing. Great place.

Fresco has been remodeled. There is plenty of room to sit and enjoy a meal now. The place looks terrific and the pizza is still great!

    (5)
  • Sarah W.

This was the best pizza I have had in a while! The Alfredo sauce was decadent and delicious and the crust was more chewy than crisp, which was fine by me. My husband's Totally Topped pizza was also good but a tad soggy in the middle. Overall, will definitely order here again!

No, just no. Really wish I spent my $25 elsewhere. Based on the positive reviews here, I was anticipating Deliciousness...Soft gooey cheesy scrumptious pizza was what I had in mind when I placed a to-go order to Fresco Pizzeria. What I received was, however, a completely different story. I could get better pizza for half the price at some crappy pizza chains. I ordered 2 pizzas, a Alfredo pizza, and a Hawaiian Pizza. Alfredo Pizza: Driest pizza I've ever had. Barely any sauce, barely any cheese, super dry chicken. Hawaiian Pizza: Pitiful amount of cheese, dry, dry, and did I mention dry? If you're wanting authentic Italian food from Fresco Pizzeria, save your money. If you think you can get good pizza from Fresco Pizzeria, Think Again.(Don't say I didn't warn ya) I'll upload photos of the pizzas I ordered, gotta say, the pics made the pizzas look a lot better then the super dry pieces of crap that they are in actuality. Horrible, below average, overpriced pizza.

I'm still new to Tucson, but having tried a large sample of the various pizza places near the U of A, I have to say that this is the best so far. In fact I'd say it's the best I've ever had. Better than the places I tried in NYC even. The crust is just magical. The five alarm (which I tried) is the perfect amount of spicy for those of us who crave that extra spicyness in our food. If you decide to try it, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

  • Mark S.

Best place for a pie made the right way. I suggest asking them to have it cooked for an extra minute or so to get it just a little more crunchier. White Wonder with spicy chicken and red onions.... mmmmmmmm

I don't know how I didn't already review this place as I've been getting pizza here for months. They aren't "craft" pizza but they are steps above commercial chains and have lots of vegan options for toppings. The breadsticks can be made vegan by asking for them without the cheese. They also have soy cheese available and friendly delivery.

Had a meeting with 11 people and went to Fresco. Everyone was starving so, I was concerned that food might take a while to come out considering, I ordered for the whole group at once. I was really surprised when the salads came barely 10 minutes after I sat back down and the rest of the food followed shortly after. They brought everything we needed in terms of plates/napkins and came back often to clear plates without interrupting our meeting. The staff was very friendly and Raven who helped take the order was very helpful in offering suggestions to make sure we had enough food for the group. Great experience and the food was delicious!!

Ordered delivery from here, I liked the different types of specialty pizzas. The Greek pizza was delicious with the addition of feta, and the bodacious BBQ pizza was scarfed down by my friends. The crust was really good, and that's one of my favorite parts. The delivery isn't super speedy, so be aware if you're ordering with a time constraint. The pizzas are a bit on the more pricey side, but the amount of toppings make up for it. Definitely a nice change from the standard pizza chains.

Living downtown, I have several places to choose from for pizza delivery, but I had a craving for Frescos crust and was delighted to find out they delivered to my area! I called up and spoke to the nicest employee. He helped me pick a size for one - 10" has six slices and will make for a great dinner and next day lunch. The most distinguishing part of this phone call was I could actually hear the person on the other line! I call plenty of pizza places and strain to hear due to all the background noise... So maybe I am getting old but its nice to hear and be heard. About 40 minutes later, the piping hot and fresh pizza was delivered. I honestly cant get enough of the crust! I could eat it plain, but all the creative pizza options make it hard to just order crust. I have had maybe 3-4 pizzas but my two favorite are the absolutely alfredo's creamy deliciousness and the tangy and sweet blue cheese, bacon and pineapple. With all the new pizza places, Fresco still hold their own, I just wish the prices were a little more affordable. Its a splurge, but a tasty well spent splurge!

My husband and I just ordered a pizza and wings from here. It took them 30 minutes longer than what we were told for the pizza to arrive. When it did, it was on the cooler side of warm and it wasn't the pizza we ordered. Instead of waiting for another one to arrive we decided to eat this one. To our disappointment on top of the disappointment we found the pizza dough to be on the raw side. When we bit into the buffalo wings, if you could call them that, they too were undercooked. So if you want a dose of salmonella with your dinner I'd say order from here... Fair to say we will not be making that mistake again!

I am always on the the lookout for a good pie, as typical options are so bland and boring. Fresco is the BEST option for pizza in Arizona with a large menu and fresh ingredients I would not go anywhere else. Additionally their staff is always extremely friendly. Thank you Fresco!

We were really happy to find this delivery joint. Close to the house, so we get fed in a hurry, and it's really tasty! Forgo the Domino's, Papa John's, and cardboard pies from Safeway. This is good stuff. You will pay a little more, that's expected for quality, but we are usually able to find a decent web-coupon which gets us an extra large for around $20 with tip.

I had heard a lot about this place from a friend who lives nearby. A little over a month ago I got my first taste of Fresco in the form of their veggie, major meaty, and plain pizzas. I enjoyed all of them but really liked the veggie pizza as the veggies tasted fresh (were they really? probably not, but they tasted like it). Today was day two of nonstop writing (trying to get a PhD is no joke). Around 5 I realized that I had not eaten in 8 hours and I was pretty much about to pass out from hunger/stress/exhaustion. I immediately knew I wanted fettucini alfredo but didnt know where to go. Then it hit me, Fresco! I tend to really like pasta from pizza places, particularly when it's under $10. I placed my order for pickup and it was ready promptly 10-15 later as promised. The good: the garlic bread, while not great it really hit the spot. I didn't actually taste like garlic at all, just butter bread, but I was so hungry it was okay by me. The bad: The sauce. The pasta was cooked to a good fir mess but the sauce was Bertolli, which is probably my least favorite canned sauce. It was a 2 of 5 star meal. Definitely won't get it again but it wasn't hooooorrible. Well, mostly. Pizza gets 4 stars, garlic great three, fettucini alfredo 2.....let's take the median here and give it three stars.....just make sure if you go to only order the pizza.

  • Mike B.

Food is great, however the reason I am giving two stars is because of the customer service, or rather lack of. Ive ordered for delivery multiple times and every time I call, the same employee (Robert) answers and every time its the same annoyed tone. I don't like to feel like a nuisance when trying to give you guys my money. I apologize that you work at a restaurant and you have to take my order. I thought maybe he was just having a bad day but nope.

We've been eating here for a long time and it's consistently good. Our favorite is the Rasta. Jerk chicken, basil, red onion & pineapple=delicious pizza. My daughters love a 1/2 cheese, 1/2 bacon combo. Unlike many places, the bacon is always crispy. I remember laughing about their slogan "still free delivery" a few years ago. Everyone had free delivery then. Now, they are the only place in town that does still have it. Very prophetic of Fresco. My reason for 4 stars, not 5, is that the toppings can be sloppily and unevenly placed sometimes. The pizza is always delicious though, uneven or not.

We had a pizza night a couple of nights ago. We ordered some of the specialty pizzas. My fave was the blue cheese with bacon and pineapple. It was terrific! We also had Hawaiian and a meat one. Food was good delivery was on time. My only complaint is that the crust was still a little doughy...no fun. Wish they had a wheat crust as well. Definitely will go again.

this review is based on delivery only! i was working nearby at a very busy drive with a few of my co-workers and we were getting hungry/cranky. we couldn't decide what we wanted to eat, but thanks to yelp!, we were pointed in the right direction. a few of us had heard really great things about fresco. we looked at the menu and didn't want to wait any longer. we put our order in for two of their large speciality pizzas. major meat and white wonder! the pizza arrived about 45 minutes later (they quoted our delivery time very well). the delivery guy was very nice. the pizza looked and smelled delicious! we were all hoping to get a break in the drive to be able to grab a slice. i didn't try the major meat pizza, but it was LOADED!!! they definitely did not skimp on the toppings. when i got to take a break and try the white wonder my taste buds fell in love. this white pie was probably, hands down, one of the best pies i've EVERRRRRRRR had. after i got back to work, i'd glance over at my other coworkers finally being able to take their break. when i'd ask how the pizza was, they were pretty quiet. quiet because they were savoring the glorious pizza fresco had delivered. my boss said "i can't even talk, this is SO good". i'm looking forward to visiting their restaurant and sitting down to enjoy another white pie. ^__________________^

No flavor... Far too expensive used the yelp checkin for their free breadsticks and I had to argue to 3 different kids before I paid for my 24 dollar pizza. The ingredients are higher quality than most but without any pizza sauce what do they expect me to taste. Better off getting takeout from scordatos

  • Jody R.

Excellent pizza. The sauce was perfect and the dough was very nice. Had a good chew to it but overly crispy. The owner Matt sat with us and told us about the fresh ingredients he uses and the high gluten flour makes a difference. The time they proof the dough is key to the exceptional taste. The new dining area is beautiful and the restrooms are clean.See you soon!

I have not dined-in at Fresco, and I have only had their pizza. I give the pizza 5-stars, and it is easily my favorite pizza ever. Their crust is the way pizza crust should be, period. Great sauce, great everything. They need to do something about prices for specialty pizzas. I feel like I'm getting a fair price on a cheese pizza, but add some toppings and watch out. They did screw up a topping on our last order (and I see other reviewers have mentioned mistakes being commonplace). Yes, their web site is out of date as well. It disturbs me to see all the poor reviews of their service. I just want to let the world know their pizza is spectacular, and I want to encourage management to right the ship. Let's support this place and keep giving constructive criticism.

  • Brad H.

From some of the reviews I had high hopes for this pizza but I guess Tucson just doesn't know what good pizza is. We ordered the large veggie and it was undercooked, over onioned, and had almost no sauce (or flavor for that matter). Do yourself a favor and get some Mexican food this town just doesn't do Italian.

When my husband and I first moved to Tucson a few months ago, we had one goal: find the perfect pizza place. This was crucial to the success of our marriage. Just kidding... Maybe. Fresco was the second place we tried and we haven't tried anything since. So maybe I'm biased, but this place is perfect. Free delivery, amazing pizza. Their gourmets are really creative and the barbeque chicken pizza is different but very good. Even their plain cheese pizza, which we typically get, has the perfect sauce to cheese ratio. I know it's just pizza, but I can't get enough of it. Other things we have tried: The cheesy stix, for the price, are such a great deal. Delicious and huge portions. I also tried the linguini with truffle oil, and while nothing to write home about, was quite good. Great garlic bread too. I highly recommend them, especially if you want good, decently priced pizza and don't want large chain pizza.

Pizza was delicious. Had the margherita and loved it. Also got free bread sticks for checking in. The service was good, although the guy at the counter seemed a little unhappy to be there. Overall, good experience.

  • Bruce M.

I was very impressed with the food here. Antipasto salad, pesto bread and calzone were all great. Only thing that wasn't good were the BBQ wings, sauce was very basic and just didn't have much flavor. With that said 3 out of the 4 items we ordered were very tasty. Don't leave here with out an order of their pesto bread!!

Once upon a time there was a Picurro (said in a heavy Italian accent) who started a pizzeria (again, Italian accent) with his wife. They named their new business Picurro Pizzeria (you know what to do), after themselves of course. Business boomed into a thriving local chain with SIX locations. But eventually, the pair split and the Mister took a turn for the worse. He was discovered for soliciting a 14-year-old girl in an online chat room. Unfortunately for him, this "girl" ended up being a detective. Busted. Well, business plummeted and the regulars revolted, for they would not support such a person's biz. The six locations diminished to one. And in an effort to save the once fan-worthy restaurant, the Ex-Missus (half owner) separated it completely from the Mister. Hear that? Mister no longer in the picture. She found a new owning partnership and revamped it to what is now Fresco. [*] Years later, this wildly critical Food Fanatic (ME!) and my bearded Pizza-Loving Man blindly head over to this Fresco place, to use one of our restaurant.com coupons over a nice dine-in experience. What can I say? Nobody told us ixnay on the ine-inday. So I'm telling you, ixnay on the ine-inday. I mean, the folks that work there are super duper nice, but it's kind of like dining in at a take out Papa John's. It's take out. Just do the take-out (said in Kumail Nanjiani's "just do the..." tone). Harp continued: I just want to say, a place that has such, good, pizza should really consider giving their interior some love. I have a vision, of a modern punchy Fresco, with a stylish and vibrant sit-down bar where people can be ::cool:: at. Come on. I can't deny it, the pizza is delicious. It makes my Pizza Lover purr. Yes, purr. He loves the crust. He loves the flavor. He loves their meaty pizzas. I love him loving food, even if it is mostly pizza. I also love jamaican chicken, which they serve on their Rasta Pizza, among others. More importantly, they offer a Fettuccini Alfredo with spicy Jamaican chicken, which I profoundly enjoy and periodically crave. I order it to go (see above for explanation). I admit, it is nice to be able to order a Fettuccini Alfredo to my front door. Anyway, that's my message. Just do the take out. 1st time visit, nicely done. Reading previous reviews regarding customer service, those employees must not have been working on this Saturday afternoon. Everyone was pleasant, quick to clear, anxious to please. Pizza was delicious, large portions. The Greek salad was a big hit, green olives, as well as a lot of feta and a nice light dressing. Will come back again(maybe after remodeling is done!)

Got some take out from Fresco Pizza. The pizza was yummy. Great crust. Also had a veggie filled calzone that was really great. Just the right amount of cheese and veggies in a crisp crust. Got a coupon for checking in on Yelp as well! Good Sunday Pizza Stop!

We decided to try something new since we had just moved more central from northeast. I did peep Yelp to check out some reviews and figured it was worth a shot. The food was so bland! I ordered the spinach artichoke dip or whatever it was-HORRIBLE. Also we had two kinds of pizza, both sucked. We are big foodies and we didn't even finish half. Maybe I would consider giving this place a second chance, but honestly it isn't worth the money.

The first time I had Fresco was at the Loft and have been a fan ever since. Their pizza is consistently good and fresh. The Totally Topped pizza is my favorite; it has sooo many toppings that one slice is enough. Well, almost enough. Their pasta dishes are sinful! But my favorite part thing about Fresco's is their free delivery :)

    (4)
  • Patrick S.

Started with tomato basil soup which the owner said he had made himself. Very nice, but the highlight was the calzone! It's nice that they have different sizes to choose from. I went with a large thinking I would bring some home for my wife. Unfortunately for her, I went home empty handed.

I love good-hot pizza & that's why I have Fresco deliver. Sometimes I order the eggplant parmesan & combo subs. It doesn't matter they always deliver hot & fresh food with a smile. With that said the best part is when they answer the phone you can hear the smile. Most of the time when I call businesses I get the feeling I'm interrupting something. Not at Fresco.

The place is clean and the servers are nice. I had a side greek salad and it was really good. The vinagrette tasted a little dry, but combined with the salad it was really good. The bread sticks are amazing, but the sauce was a little too "sour" for my taste. The tomatoes used were probably too green to my liking, but it tasted fresh. The same sauce was used for my spaghetti, so I didn't like it too much. I tried a piece of pizza as well and it was just okay, but the crust was really bomb.

  • Andrew B.

Fresco makes one of the best pizzas in its price range. Slightly more expensive than a pie from Pizza Hut or Dominos, but miles ahead in terms of flavor and quality. Everything, from the ingredients to the chew of the crust is great, but my favorite thing about these pizzas is the slight overlap between the cheese and the crust -- the kind that results in a few brown, crisp pieces of cheese. I know this isn't necessarily really "a thing," but if it was, then Fresco would be the king of it. Their pastas -- while not brilliant -- are far better than what a normal and sane person should expect from a pizza delivery joint. Huge, too. And no matter what size you get, the calzones are immensely satisfying. I recommend going with the regular calzone instead of the spinach & cheese one, though, because a calzone without ricotta is just a folded pizza. Fresco saved my friends and me from so many failed cooking attempts, so the fact that this is now the only Fresco location makes me so sad. So very, very sad.. Makes me want to punch a Pizza Hut until it explodes into a confetti of quarters. (points if you get the reference) If you're near the U of A campus, make this your choice for delivery.

Honestly this is my favorite place to get pizza but there are a few little issues that keeps me from giving it 5 stars. One is how much everything costs, it is worth it but I still feel like the only reason why I don't order there often is that sometimes the good stuff is around $30 for one pizza. My other reason is that sometimes the food will get to you undercooked and that is based on how many toppings it has since they seem to put all the food items in the same oven for the same amount of time.

I have eaten here 3 times, and it has been amazing each visit! Here's the rundown: First I tried a sub (chicken primavera, I think), and it was super good! The sauce was very good, and I didn't even put mayo on it (which says a lot since I love mayo on subs). Second I had a calzone, and it was the best calzone I have ever had! They are also huge, they are enough for 2 people to share. Third I tried the pizza with my mom. I had herd that it was better then Brooklyn's, so I had to try it! It did not disappoint, or Brooklyn still has the best slices, but Fresco's has their pies beat. Fresco's pizza is crunchier, and the ingredients taste like they are of better quality. Now don't get me wrong I will still go to Brooklyn's from time to time, but Fresco's has more variety.

Excellent food! Ordered lasagna, Fettuccine Alfredo, and a salad. Everything was great and the salad was huge! Nice not to have to go to a stuffy place for good Italian. Did not try the pizza but it looks great.

Woohoo! The pizza is awesome! We ordered the Pesto pizza with mushrooms, chicken and bacon for delivery and it was very fast and still very hot! Every last bit was covered in bacon. Not just a thin layer but a massive layer of bacon topped with grilled chicken. I'm not a big fan of mushrooms but they went over well covered in bacon and pesto. My only complaint: the pizza was too dry. It could have used a little more pesto or cheese to moisten it up. The crust was tasty and not doughy but def not crispy either. We also ordered bread sticks and I couldn't finish it because there were just bad...pretty much pizza dough rolled into a stick shape. Dense, doughy and very little flavor that could not be helped by marinara. Want to eventually try a standard pepperoni to see what's up.

They make it the way I want it. I haven't tasted any better. They don't cut corners but they will square cut your pizza if you ask. I never have had more fresh, tasty ingredients on a pizza. They take care to prepare and cook it right. I am so hooked on Fresco! And it's usually very fast! Oh, and you want pasta or salads, they have really good ones, too.

This was really good pizza!!! The margarita and pepperoni pizzas were not to greasy, well cooked and tasty. I had low expectations and I am glad I was proven so wrong!!!

I have not gotten the chance to eat the food there. And chances are, I never will! The service there was so terrible that I cancelled my order and left. I HIGHLY recommend going ANYWHERE else if you would like to be treated with any sort of respect.

I've been eating the White Wonder here for years, and it's incredible! The regular pizza is also good, but that white pie... so creamy and delicious! The pesto pie is excellent as well, and they serve Pepsi products, which I like way better than Coke. The garlic bread is incredible, and my roommates LOVE the meatball subs, too! The only things I don't like about Fresco are the pasta dishes and the strange, packaged desserts. Everything else is great!

Although the quality can be a bit variable, all in all a good solid pizza. We usually go for the Very Veggie. The Buffalo Bites are decent and the Blue Cheese dip has big chunks of REAL Blue Cheese...!

Worse than one of the cheap national chains. The extra large 16" pizza had a 3 inch crust (leaving very little room for actual ingredients), it was over cooked, it was cold, the driver was late and it was bland. Don't let their image and prices fool you. It is not gourmet, or even mediocre for that matter.

I've had more Fresco delivery than I can remember. So many of their delicious pizzas-- and anytime they've goofed on an order (not often), they've made it right. Their garlic loaf is delicious, and I often order the spinach salad-- it looks small, but magically doubles in size once you get it out of the clamshell.

Food good, ate in , service more than poor, ordered soup came out barely warm, asked to have t warmed up, waitress took it away , waited 15 min, asked her about the soup, "oh I was busy", by then rest of the meal out, so cancelled the soup, and the guy on the register trashed me out for saying take the soup off my bill. The good food not worth the surly service, wont go back

Had a busy night at work last night, ordered Pizza for the staff, Margherita and a Totally topped, quick service for delivery and the food was great. Everyone enjoyed the food, will be ordering again. Love the sauce and the fresh basil on the Margherita, and the toppings on the other were large and fresh. Yum.

We just moved to this area of town and we were determined to start trying the places around here. After doing some google searching we settled on trying out Fresco's. One of the other deciding factors besides good reviews was that it was 10 pm and this place doesn't close til midnight on the weekends and they delivered for free. We ordered the Bodacious BBQ 10'' (hold the red onion -- J does not like slimy onions) and the Spinach and Cheese Calzone (one topping of Pepperoni) along with a full loaf of garlic bread (1.70 when the half is like a 1.05). They were quick and efficient on the phone asking for all of my info and the order and said it'd be about 40 minutes. They were a few minutes early which was nice. J had to step out for a few minutes during this time so we ended up keeping it warm in the oven for just a little while. Not wanting to eat without him (we were both starving) I stared at the oven til he arrived. The BBQ pizza had red onions on it (minus a star for NOT paying attention to NO ONIONS) but I pulled the really large ones off of the pizza with a fork and it turned out fine for J. We enjoyed the taste of the Bodacious BBQ, the flavor was great and the BBQ had a little bit of a kick which was really tasty. I personally like red onions and thought they went really well with the pizza but for topping haters you may have to stress it a couple times to the guy on the phone. The Calzone. Holy Crap. We ordered the regular size and it came in its own pizza box. Here I was thinking the smaller box was the calzone and the larger one was the BBQ pizza. Nope. If you had put two calzones together it would have roughly been about the size of a 14'' pizza easily. It came with marinara sauce (it was your standard fare nothing amazing). The calzone in itself was delicious the marinara sauce was good for the extra pieces of breading you were stuck with after you ate all the yummy filling. The garlic bread came in a styrofoam takeout box and it was also just OK. Nothing I couldn't have whipped up at home in the time that it takes them to deliver my pizza. We will be trying the Breadstix /Cheesestix next time.

Delicious pizza, huge calzones, and tasty pasta. This place is an absolute must if you're wanting some great delivery food. It can take a while for delivery, but well worth it. If you want a speedier order pick up is usually ready in 15 minutes. Only downside is delivery guy with tattoos all over his arms thinks he's above his job and can be extremely rude. But the great food and great prices (and coupons) make this place a must.

Huge, too.

  • Kat M.

  • Sarah W.

This was the best pizza I have had in a while! The Alfredo sauce was decadent and delicious and the crust was more chewy than crisp, which was fine by me. My husband's Totally Topped pizza was also good but a tad soggy in the middle. Overall, will definitely order here again!

  • LY L.

Pizza gets 4 stars, garlic great three, fettucini alfredo 2.....let's take the median here and give it three stars.....just make sure if you go to only order the pizza.

this review is based on delivery only! i was working nearby at a very busy drive with a few of my co-workers and we were getting hungry/cranky. we couldn't decide what we wanted to eat, but thanks to yelp!, we were pointed in the right direction. a few of us had heard really great things about fresco. we looked at the menu and didn't want to wait any longer. we put our order in for two of their large speciality pizzas. major meat and white wonder! the pizza arrived about 45 minutes later (they quoted our delivery time very well). the delivery guy was very nice. the pizza looked and smelled delicious! we were all hoping to get a break in the drive to be able to grab a slice. i didn't try the major meat pizza, but it was LOADED!!! they definitely did not skimp on the toppings. when i got to take a break and try the white wonder my taste buds fell in love. this white pie was probably, hands down, one of the best pies i've EVERRRRRRRR had. after i got back to work, i'd glance over at my other coworkers finally being able to take their break. when i'd ask how the pizza was, they were pretty quiet. quiet because they were savoring the glorious pizza fresco had delivered. my boss said "i can't even talk, this is SO good". i'm looking forward to visiting their restaurant and sitting down to enjoy another white pie.

Started with tomato basil soup which the owner said he had made himself. Very nice, but the highlight was the calzone! It's nice that they have different sizes to choose from. I went with a large thinking I would bring some home for my wife. Unfortunately for her, I went home empty handed.

After perusing Yelp for a good lunch place I stumbled across frescoe. The staff was friendly, restaurant was clean and the spinach/ricotta stuffed shells were dynamite! I can't wait to go back and try their pizza.

Yum.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
